I have been coming to Park Social for years and have enjoyed everything I have ordered here, without exception! I typically go for the French Toast, but felt a bit adventurous and ordered a plate of Chilaquiles with red sauce! First off: BEAUTIFUL presentation! The plates here always excite me for the meal to come, and the Chilaquiles were no exception. Everything was perfect for me: the amount of tortilla chips, sour cream, and cheese, and the egg was cooked perfectly. I wasn't expecting such a large portion size, but I wasn't complaining at all! Pictured next to my plate is a Mexican Mocha. I get one with every meal here. They aren't too spicy or sweet, which is just how I like them. This was a delight to stumble upon. We wanted to try a different restaurant for breakfast and came across Park Social. I really like the location of this restaurant. It's very spacious. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's open and bright. It's very hard to not miss it. Lots of food options and beverage options. The service was cool. Our food and coffee did not take long to come out which was nice. I ordered a Bacon Breakfast Burrito and an Espresso Coffee. This was delicious and I did not take home leftovers. Great place to go with friends and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere. The space is very spacious, and they offer a nice selection of food and drinks. We also enjoyed the live music from a couple performing, it added a great touch to the experience. It's a very kid-friendly spot, which was a plus for our family. I ordered the fried fish tacos, and while they were decent, they weren't my favorite. My son had the birria taco and absolutely loved it, it was packed with a generous amount of meat for a small taco. My daughter ordered the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them as well. We came here for brunch. It's located in a residential area. There are some parking spots out front and there's a parking garage so parking isn't an issue. There are indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered and paid at the counter. I had a croissant sandwich, which was pretty good. We also ordered Birria egg Benedict, quesadilla and acai bowl. Super delicious food!! We got the smoked salmon avocado toast and chewy (idk why they name it this) acai bowl. The acai bowl ended up only costing a few dollars after we signed up for toast and got a big discount on our second purchase! Anyway, back to the food, the smoked salmon avocado toast was perfectly creamy and had some richness from the olive oil and avocado. The chili oil, arugula, and the dill cream added more layers of flavor to the dish which I really enjoyed. The reason why I didn't give it a 5 star is because i could have used more smoked salmon, the egg was soft boiled instead of sunny side up like the menu listed, and the acai bowl was good but not amazing. But these are just nitpicking, I definitely will come back and try more of their menu! read more

A co-worker recommended this place for their happy hour. First impression, it looks like any other "coffee shop" you find. It's brightly lit and plenty of seating. We were catching the tail end of happy hour, so we ordered food very quickly. I ordered the birria quesadilla and since all their happy hour drinks were beer, I ordered a sangria instead. I wasn't really expecting much. But boy was I surprised. The birria quesadilla was phenomenal! It was deeply flavored, and the meat was tender and moist. For $11, it was a great deal! And the sangria is probably one of the best I've tasted. It was very refreshing. We also happened to be there on their trivia night, so that was kinda fun. Overall a great experience. Across the street has a mini park for walking, workouts or pups. PARKING we came by at 1pm on Thursday so we got the free 1 hour parking out front. Otherwise, I bet this place fills up. They did have paid parking on the street as well. FOOD I saw the loco moco was popular so my husband got that. He said it was good but isn't as mind blowing as the one at Wonderland in OB. I got the fish tacos as the employee suggested it. They were m absolutely delicious! Perfect crunch with the added veggies and the chipotle sauce on top was I didn't add the sauce in the cup because it was a bit too spicy DRINK My husband got a Pepsi zero and I had a matcha with blueberry. My matcha was delicious. SERVICE I can tell our meals were freshly made bc it took 10 min to get our food. Pretty quick considering my fish tacos were fried. In terms of cleanliness, the team members quickly bussed tables after customers finished and everywhere looked super clean. I had brunch with my 2 friends earlier this morning. One friend ordered the French Toast and the other ordered the Breakfast Burrito. I opted for the newest item on the menu: Fig and Pig Bread. I absolutely loved my plate that included soft scrambled eggs, arugula salad topped with prosciutto and cherry tomatoes, 2 thick pieces of fig bread, and whipped butter topped with pistachios and honey. It was incredibly delicious and what really stood out was the fig bread. I would come here again for the bread! Yes, it's THAT good!! All 3 of us enjoyed our food, but mine was the most impressive. I hope they decide to keep this new dish on their menu. The coffee was good, nice and strong! It's just what I needed to energize me for a day of shopping! The ambiance was casual, we ordered and paid at the counter, got a number, and food was delivered to our table. Parking is limited to one hour, which can be a challenge. We felt a bit rushed. Also, there seems to be a gnats infestation. They were swarming around our table. Went here for a quick bite to eat on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully we were lucky enough to get parking close by and didn't have to walk far. There is a lot nearby that you can park in. It's in a little community that has different apartments around, and there's a little park right across the street. The restaurant is very small on the inside but has plenty of outdoor seating. They have a special drink menu for the holidays. I had the Snickerdoodle latte, hot. It was very good and not too sweet which I was very happy about. A lot of the holiday drinks are overly sweet at a lot of places I've been to. You order at the counter, and they provide you a number for the table, and bring out your food later. I decided to order the breakfast burrito, and it was definitely a good choice. You can order it with bacon or sausage, and I went with sausage. The egg inside was very fluffy, and it had a good ratio of potato and sausage. One of my friends tried a newer dish they just added to the menu, called the fig and pig. This was one of the choices I was torn between as well. She raved about the dish and said how delicious it was. The toast had figs in it, and it was served with prosciutto, scrambled eggs and a small salad along with a pistachio whipped butter. The server was very nice and we got our food quickly. They even accommodated me when I asked them if they could change my original order from iced to a hot drink, since it was a little cold outside. It didn't leave me feeling heavy, but it also didn't quite give that super satisfying, filling sweet breakfast. The quesadillas were nice. Not blowing my mind, but the flavor was balanced and tame. Doesn't have that juicy meaty flavor of birria. I do wish they were a bit more generous with the onion and cilantro toppings. The chai latte was probably the weakest part for me. It tasted more watery and milky than chai, and I was hoping for a little more spice and depth. The proximity to the apartment buildings nearby and seating is sometimes a premium. I like sitting on the porch and watching the people and wrapped with their pets to nearby Field Park. Sampled a few of the beers and sangria on tap with an açaí bowl. It's a little spendy, but a nice time. You will be given a number to take to your table, and they'll bring the food out to you when it's ready. Be aware that it may be hard to find seating for larger groups as most tables are set up for two to four people. There are indoor and patio seating areas. I ordered the BLT, and it was large and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the maple bacon does actually taste sweet and strongly of maple. They have a nice beer wall selection and brunch options. Our only drawback here was the server we ordered with at the counter didn't actually know what was going on. We asked for the Park special burger on a sign and they kept asking which "special" we wanted. And apparently there were supposed to be two specials - one was a burger and the other was a soup that wasn't actually on the sign. They realized why we looked so confused and when I ended up asking what soup they had - it turns out they didn't even have it that day. I liked that there was a side bar area for water with glasses for 30 taps. I love chilaquiles so when I saw that on the menu, I knew I had to try it. I ordered mine with scrambled eggs and diced chicken along with salsa verde. The tortillas were nice and crispy. It was spicer than expected. Helped to open the sinuses as I was getting over a cold. Tingly on the tongue. The portion was larger than expected so I was unable to finish it. I also got a large iced chai latte with oat milk and it was delicious. You order at the counter and are given a number. My total for the chilaquiles and large iced chai latte was $25 which for a good meal in SD was worth the price to me. Very interesting selection of music. Kind of reminded of being in a club. A little too upbeat and crazy for morning. There are 10 tables of four with two larger tables to fit 8 inside. The outside patio is larger than expected with numerous tables to fit approximately 50. It is located across the street from Centrum Park. With the 30 taps, I could see this place getting packed on a weekend night or on a Sunday morning for a NFL game. There are four televisions inside so this would be a good option to catch a game and grab a bite after work. I could see this being the local hangout spot for all those who live within walking distance. If I lived closer, I would be a frequent visitor. read more

I come here too much to not give it a good review. Out of pure convenience, this place is awesome. For the residence of the Vive complexes, it's a 1-2 minute walk from your apartment. They serve coffee, tea, beer, wine, breakfast, lunch, dinner, you name it! They feature one of those pour-your-own-drinks that charge by the ounce, you can try a little bit of everything they have to offer. Their coffee are supplied by local roaster, Café Moto. And I must have had five happy hour birria quesadillas in my time living here. Cashiers and workers are always attentive, enthusiastic, and smiling. The inside is spacious, perfect for big groups or just sitting, relaxing and working. For non-locals, there is a huge parking structure near the big, green Sunroad and you can stay there an hour for free. Overall, I'd recommend checking out this place. It's across the freeway and a bit out of the way from the typical Kearney Mesa restaurant scene. But if you're tired of spinning the block trying to find parking for kbbq and you're starting to get hungry, give this place a try. read more
