Great place to go with friends and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere. The space is very spacious, and they offer a nice selection of food and drinks. We also enjoyed the live music from a couple performing, it added a great touch to the experience. It's a very kid-friendly spot, which was a plus for our family. I ordered the fried fish tacos, and while they were decent, they weren't my favorite. My son had the birria taco and absolutely loved it, it was packed with a generous amount of meat for a small taco. My daughter ordered the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them as well. Will be going again to try something different from the menu. The staff was friendly, and overall it was a comfortable place to relax, grab a bite, and spend time with friends and family.

We came here for brunch. It's located in a residential area. There are some parking spots out front and there's a parking garage so parking isn't an issue. There are indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered and paid at the counter. I had a croissant sandwich, which was pretty good. We also ordered Birria egg Benedict, quesadilla and acai bowl. Not a huge fan of their acai bowl but everything else was good. They also have bottomless mimosa at a reasonable price. Overall, it's a good place to have a casual brunch.

Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast

Super delicious food!! We got the smoked salmon avocado toast and chewy (idk why they name it this) acai bowl. The acai bowl ended up only costing a few dollars after we signed up for toast and got a big discount on our second purchase! Anyway, back to the food, the smoked salmon avocado toast was perfectly creamy and had some richness from the olive oil and avocado. The chili oil, arugula, and the dill cream added more layers of flavor to the dish which I really enjoyed. The reason why I didn't give it a 5 star is because i could have used more smoked salmon, the egg was soft boiled instead of sunny side up like the menu listed, and the acai bowl was good but not amazing. But these are just nitpicking, I definitely will come back and try more of their menu!

Nice atmosphere, cool vibe feel and fun to sit out in the sun. Had a breakfast sandwich with grilled onions - excellent and my wife had 2 egg meal which was fantastic French toast real good!

A co-worker recommended this place for their happy hour. First impression, it looks like any other "coffee shop" you find. It's brightly lit and plenty of seating. We were catching the tail end of happy hour, so we ordered food very quickly. I ordered the birria quesadilla and since all their happy hour drinks were beer, I ordered a sangria instead. I wasn't really expecting much. But boy was I surprised. The birria quesadilla was phenomenal! It was deeply flavored, and the meat was tender and moist. For $11, it was a great deal! And the sangria is probably one of the best I've tasted. It was very refreshing. We also happened to be there on their trivia night, so that was kinda fun. Overall a great experience. The only complaint I have is parking. You have to park inside a paid garage and it's about a 5min walk.

Parking: they have some underground and some 1 hour spots nearby, but mostly street parking. Their happy hour deals are everyday from 3pm-5pm and are a great deal. Staff are friendly. They have inside and outside seating. Nice patio area that is dog friendly. Order at the register, take a number and they deliver food and drinks to you. Tried: (food prices were happy hour) Dirty Pina Colada soda $4.75 - good flavor Blueberry matcha $7.75 - good but pricey Cherry lemonade $4.25 - kid approved Pretzel bites $8 - comes with cheese and mustard. Kid approved. Birria quesadilla $11 - this is massive! Comes with salsas. Chicken taco $3.50 - thigh meat, a little fatty. Shrimp taco $4 - flavor was just okay. Birria taco $3.50 - good Chicken tender - good, kid approved. Sometimes over cooked.

SAN DIEGO LIVING AT ITS BEST So impressed with the multi-use of this space! It's surrounded by so many apartment complexes but you don't feel like it. Across the street has a mini park for walking, workouts or pups. PARKING we came by at 1pm on Thursday so we got the free 1 hour parking out front. Otherwise, I bet this place fills up. They did have paid parking on the street as well. FOOD I saw the loco moco was popular so my husband got that. He said it was good but isn't as mind blowing as the one at Wonderland in OB. I got the fish tacos as the employee suggested it. They were m absolutely delicious! Perfect crunch with the added veggies and the chipotle sauce on top was I didn't add the sauce in the cup because it was a bit too spicy DRINK My husband got a Pepsi zero and I had a matcha with blueberry. My matcha was delicious. SERVICE I can tell our meals were freshly made bc it took 10 min to get our food. Pretty quick considering my fish tacos were fried. In terms of cleanliness, the team members quickly bussed tables after customers finished and everywhere looked super clean. This is such a vibey place where you could work on your laptop, share a meal with a few friends or enjoy a drink at the outside patio with the beautiful sunshine.

I had brunch with my 2 friends earlier this morning. One friend ordered the French Toast and the other ordered the Breakfast Burrito. I opted for the newest item on the menu: Fig and Pig Bread. I absolutely loved my plate that included soft scrambled eggs, arugula salad topped with prosciutto and cherry tomatoes, 2 thick pieces of fig bread, and whipped butter topped with pistachios and honey. It was incredibly delicious and what really stood out was the fig bread. I would come here again for the bread! Yes, it's THAT good!! All 3 of us enjoyed our food, but mine was the most impressive. I hope they decide to keep this new dish on their menu. The coffee was good, nice and strong! It's just what I needed to energize me for a day of shopping! The ambiance was casual, we ordered and paid at the counter, got a number, and food was delivered to our table. Parking is limited to one hour, which can be a challenge. We felt a bit rushed. Also, there seems to be a gnats infestation. They were swarming around our table. Five stars for the food, but the gnats took away from the experience because we kept having to wave them away.

Went here for a quick bite to eat on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully we were lucky enough to get parking close by and didn't have to walk far. There is a lot nearby that you can park in. It's in a little community that has different apartments around, and there's a little park right across the street. The restaurant is very small on the inside but has plenty of outdoor seating. They have a special drink menu for the holidays. I had the Snickerdoodle latte, hot. It was very good and not too sweet which I was very happy about. A lot of the holiday drinks are overly sweet at a lot of places I've been to. You order at the counter, and they provide you a number for the table, and bring out your food later. I decided to order the breakfast burrito, and it was definitely a good choice. You can order it with bacon or sausage, and I went with sausage. The egg inside was very fluffy, and it had a good ratio of potato and sausage. One of my friends tried a newer dish they just added to the menu, called the fig and pig. This was one of the choices I was torn between as well. She raved about the dish and said how delicious it was. The toast had figs in it, and it was served with prosciutto, scrambled eggs and a small salad along with a pistachio whipped butter. The server was very nice and we got our food quickly. They even accommodated me when I asked them if they could change my original order from iced to a hot drink, since it was a little cold outside. When we were placing our order he was very nice about explaining the menu and giving his recommendations. I would definitely like to go back and check out the Fig and Pig next.

Gingerbread Chai latte

Came here for a date and thought it was a nice casual bite. The French toast leaned more refreshing than creamy, which wasn't a bad thing. It didn't leave me feeling heavy, but it also didn't quite give that super satisfying, filling sweet breakfast. The quesadillas were nice. Not blowing my mind, but the flavor was balanced and tame. Doesn't have that juicy meaty flavor of birria. I do wish they were a bit more generous with the onion and cilantro toppings. The chai latte was probably the weakest part for me. It tasted more watery and milky than chai, and I was hoping for a little more spice and depth. That said, the open seating is great, and being right next to the park makes it a really pleasant spot to hang out. You order at the register then find a seat. Relaxed vibes, easygoing atmosphere. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area.

I always have a great experience at Park Social! The staff is so kind, welcoming, and attentive. Huge shoutout to Gabe and Cassidy for making the experience so amazing every time I go! The food and drinks are amazing. My favorites are the birria tacos and Mexican lager. The outside patio is big and the atmosphere is nice. They have live music Thursdays and a great happy hour. Definitely recommend checking out Park Social!

Happy hour
Christel L.

Situated within an apartment multiplex. Limited storefront parking but nearby garage parking with feasible rates (first hour free & $1-2 per hour). Staff were helpful in clarifying. Plenty of seating both inside and on patio; open space floor plan. Came here for happy hour and tried their bacon burger, which was good. Sizeable portion and minimal wait. Hope to come back and try other things from the menu.

Fish Tacos
Viviana S.

Food: I'm a sucker for fish tacos and they were surprisingly very tasty! They had the perfect crunch and the sauce was the perfect spice level! I would def come again for these. Service: Very quick service as you order at the counter and get a number. Also, very friendly staff. Atmosphere: Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great spot for brunch and big parties.

Is this AYCE?

Not that I know of. They have great plates, but I didn't see an ayce option.

Is there live music and if so which days? Looking to go Thursday and was wondering if there was any events that day.

Hi Crystal! We have live music every Thursday night. We hope to see you there!

Are the dog water bowls washed separately from all the other cooking and eating utensils?

Yes, we wash all dog bowls separate from other kitchen supplies.

Is this place pour your on beer, confused by picture?

Where do people typically park?

Two questions, do you serve real birria and do you serve Budweiser?

Hi thank you so much for reaching out! We do serve real birria and do not serve Budweiser.

Hi can you accommodate large groups?

Hi where can I make a reservation for a party of 10 on November 19th at 11:00am?

Is it possible to have a large group reservation/host an event at Park Social?

Hello Geneveve, we can host larger groups. It all depends on the size. You can reach out to Brian@parksocialsd.com for more information and large party menus. Thank you for…

Are the hours different than what is posted? It's 10:45am on a Tuesday and this place is not open.

Hi Jess, I apologize for the confusion. Effective just this week Park Social is now closed on…

Is their patio dog friendly?

Yes! They will even bring over a dog bowl of water for your pup if you ask. Just make sure to keep your little one (or big one) on a leash.

Great place but where can you park if you aren't a resident? The spots in front are always taken..

Hello Connie, great question! Yes, there are a few spaces in front of the restaurant reserved for Park Social, there are also guest parking spaces in the parking garages…

Do they offer indoor dining? It's been hot lately so wondering if they have A/C

They do have indoor dining, but keep in mind the building has rollup doors so a lot of the air from outside will probably come inside too. So I'm not sure about the air conditioning scene

Do they have wifi?

Yes, for customers. They’ll give you the password.

Does it have a parking lot?

No parking lot, just side street parking.

Hi, does anyone know what the current hours are? Thanks!

Monday-Thursday 7am-10pm Friday 7am-midnight Saturday 8am-midnight…

Upon arriving, a male host informed us that there would be a 25 minute wait to be seated at a table, but that we could sit at an outdoor counter and wait for our table to be ready. We happily agreed before being approached by a hostess named Madison, who told us that she preferred that those counter seats be left open and that we should wait elsewhere for our table to be ready. Mind you, there were about 6 open stools at this counter, and people were not being seated there. I thought this was strange, and that the hostess was quite rude, standoffish, and dismissive, but we abided by her request and left the restaurant. After forty minutes, we received a text that our table was ready. We returned to this restaurant (and yes those stools were still open), only for Madison to sit us at the bar. This was upsetting because we were told that we were waiting for a table and we wouldn't have waited so long for bar seating. My friend approached Madison and asked if we could sit at a table. Madison responsed, "well, the bar is what is available". My friend then informed her that we wouldn't have waited 40 minutes for bar seating, especially since we were guaranteed a table. Madison looked at my friend, looked at her tablet, and then looked my friend dead in her eyes and said, "actually, you only waited 36 minutes" before turning back around. Impeccable. What a delight! We then spoke to another host who was able to immediately seat us at a table. Imagine that. The manager came over to apologize to us by stating that our experience with Madison does not define their restaurant, which unfortunately for them, is untrue. If there is anything that represents a business, it is your employees, but I digress. Thank you to our server for the birthday pin, dessert, and espresso martini for my friend. My fried rice with vegan eggs and soyrizo was delicious. My friend enjoyed her quesabirria. We didn't like our cocktails at all so I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good drinks. The food was good and the interior is beautiful, but I would not return. 40 minute wait on a Monday afternoon, I can't even imagine the weekends. Madison, I hope that this is a temporary job. Hospitality is not for you.

The steak $25 was ordered as medium rare and was a bit too rare for our liking. But the fries were nice and crispy. The worst thing about the meal was the mac and cheese $8. We said we would wait for water but it never came around and they never checked up on it. I ordered the sampler that came with chilaquiles, beans, huevos rancheros, and corn tamal. When I ordered it, the server asked "and what would you like for your meat?" Her wording made it sound as if there was a protein that came with the chilaquiles. I was caught off guard at the end of the meal when I saw that there was a hefty (for the small portion) additional charge for the tough and flavorless carne asada. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but I think it would be better phrased as, "would you like to add protein?" for it to be less ambiguous. Nobody likes to be surprised with a higher bill than expected. I did not think the chilaquiles lived up its claim to be the best. It was pretty good, but the carne asada actually hindered it rather than helped it. Definitely get something else if you want to add protein to your dish. I was unhappy with the level of service, and the price didn't match the quality of the food. There are so many better spots in SD for Mexican food.

We made a reservation for 10:15 which mind you, you have to put a credit card down and we got there early, around 9:42am. In the reservation we asked to be seated inside but we got seated outside. We decided pretty quickly what we wanted and we kept seeing servers going back and forth passing our table but no one had come to our table to offer water or ask us our order. I had a view inside where the bar is, and I saw a lot of servers, many of them just standing around so it was annoying that we had not gotten anyone to check in on us. Finally around 10:07 someone came to check in and tell us there was a "mix up". We just ordered our food, which we shared the cure. Then another server came to check in again. Which interestingly enough, he served a table across from us who got sat down way after us. The food was okay. The gravy was the best part. The bacon was not crispy, needed more time to cook. Some of the tater tots were good while others were way too toasted. The eggs were meh. We spent $31 on ONE dish and bad service and yes we left a tip even after that service. Disappointed that the quality and the service has gone down. Won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend.

My wife ordered the sampler plate, and I had the Eggs Benedict. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Don't skip the specialty lattes--they were outstanding and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The prices were also very reasonable, especially compared with many of the restaurants near the Convention Center. The combination of great food, fun atmosphere, and good value makes this place an easy recommendation. I heard they're closing a few locations, so I'm really hoping this one stays open because it's a total gem. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in San Diego!

We visited this established on a Sunday, I expected the wait to be a bit long. There was a lot of confusion about, where stand to check in. The host wasn't as helpful with where to stand, as he allowed others to jump in front of us in line. I didn't care for the outdoor seating area. I believe it's too close to people walking around. Once in side, our waitress was AMAZING, which caused my irritation to calm down. The food was delicious Overall great experience .
