She actually listened to what I had to say and made sure the situation got fixed without making it awkward or being rude. She checked back in after too, which I appreciated. I've come here multiple times now, and it's become one of our go-to breakfast spots. Making reservations is always super easy, which I really appreciate. I always get the steak and eggs--they're so delicious and the steak is always juicy. Their coffees are all amazing too, and the Irish coffee is especially yummy. I also love that this spot is kid-friendly, has good music, and isn't overly loud, so it's still comfortable for families or a nice breakfast out. The staff is always very attentive and welcoming. My first time here was a year ago. I gave it another try recently and it's still 3 stars for me, maybe even 2.5 stars really. Food is overpriced but the atmosphere and aesthetics are great. The bacon was overdone. The chimichurri steak sandwich had a nice flavor but the meat was very chewy. On the menu it's listed as coming on ciabatta bread but it came on sourdough instead. I love sourdough so I didn't mind but would've rather ciabatta for this particular sandwich. The passionfruit margarita and michelada were good but nothing special. The winner of our meal was surprisingly the organic greens salad which we added shrimp to. It was delicious but came with only 6 shrimp (so $1 each) but the shrimp were big and cooked well. Customer service lacked. It took a long time for Sasha to bring us water and she forgot to bring us a sharing plate that she stated she would. We had to ask for water refills in the beginning. She never once checked on us, only to ask if we wanted more alcohol. When we paid the bill, she just took the payment machine, stared down at it, and walked away in silence (not even a fake 'thanks, have a nice day') or anything. I no longer really tip based on the % of the total bill anymore because I've realized customer service is the same no matter how much the bill is. It didn't take long to seat us at all, and they were very patient even though I had a party of at least 5 people. In this case, I should've just left it the way it was since the burrito was kind of plain to me and maybe the bacon would've brought out the flavoring in a better way. Been to this location in the past before it changed to The Vibe and for this visit, my friend and I definitely came during a good day! We got seated right away and our server took care of us shortly after. My only complaint was that it gets stuffy inside when you're seated away from the door and the open windows, but maybe (and obviously) the heat contributed to that lol. That's no one fault for that either. I was hoping they would bring the check with the boxes or shortly after but no, we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for someone else to see us sitting there with boxes waiting for the check. It blended the inside & outside really well so much so I was wearing my shades indoors haha Service was great, our waiter was really attentive & patient given we needed some extra time to order. There were key marks on the mirror (which is not their fault) and the paper towel dispenser was open but the roll for the new roll of towels was on top. It was a stark contrast to the ambience that was in the main dining room. My friend got hers fixed, I didn't mind my bananas, it was fine but preferred what I ordered which were the strawberries. I went here for brunch to celebrate my birthday with a party of 17 people. I first found this restaurant when I was looking for brunch places in San Diego and came across this on Instagram Reels! The vibe (no pun intended) looked amazing and the food looked amazing on their Instagram I called The Vibe and asked them if they could accommodate for a party of 17 and they got back to me a day later confirming my reservation. I was very pleased that they were able to make it work with such a large party and when I added 2 extra spots they accommodated immediately. Right off the bat, the place was VERY well decorated. I absolutely fell in love with the decor of the place and brunch feeling. I ordered the French Toast and it was delicious. The presentation was amazing and it was not overly sweet which I loved. I also got an iced chai tea latte, which I would highly recommend as well. The only reason I rated this four stars and not five is because there were a lot of flies around our food. Because it was really hot out they had all the garage door windows opened for the airflow and there was no AC. I'm not sure if they do this every day, but it was very hot inside, and there were a lot of flies. They had many fans on the table to get rid of the flies however, they were not as effective as I would like them to be. I really wanted to like this place because the aesthetic and reviews made it seem amazing, but the overall experience was honestly disappointing from start to finish. We called ahead to make a reservation and were told they recommended just walking in instead. Once we arrived, we were then told there would be a wait and ended up waiting about 30 minutes before finally being seated. After sitting down, we placed our order immediately as soon as the waitress came over, but then waited another 30 minutes for the food to actually arrive. We also didn't receive waters until about 15 minutes after being seated, and we weren't given utensils until after our food came out and we had to specifically ask for them. As for the food itself, it was mediocre at best. Nothing really stood out or felt worth the long wait. The restaurant was also extremely loud, and the tables are packed so closely together that it's difficult to even have a conversation with the person sitting across from you without struggling to hear them. The most frustrating part was after we finished eating. We waited around 45 minutes just trying to get the check and two boxes, and eventually had to track down a different waitress because ours never came back to the table. Overall, this place seems to thrive off aesthetics and social media hype rather than actual quality service or memorable food. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Best brunch spot I have been to in a while. Service was impeccable from Tommy today. Decor was fantastic, restaurant very clean. Food and drinks exceeded our expectations! The berries and cream pancake was not only gorgeous but delicious. Eggs were good as well.
