The restaurant was very cute and adorable. Like the name of the restaurant it was a total vibe in here! From the restaurant to the service itself! Honestly my favorite dish here was the Benedict. It was my first time trying birria Benedict over salmon and I must say it exceeded my expectations! Everything else was very good. My experience here was very pleasant and quiet since we came by during close to closing! Sorry!! 10/10 would comeback!
Popped into The Vibe again today for breakfast. It was surprisingly empty for 9:00 am on a Saturday. Food was great, as before. Portions were large so we will definitely have breakfast for tomorrow. Server was helpful and polite.
Yikes, the food and service was lacking and overpriced. We booked a weekday brunch and it took forever for us to get our order taking, was borderline hangry. Inside is cute but $21 for two eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes feels like a crime. Our food was so mid and the service was soooo slow and our server didn't check on us under the end of our meal. Potatoes were not crispy and just mushy and needed more seasoning. The salmon Benedict was pretty but also lacking salt. They had salt and pepper on the table. There was tons of flies since it's an open window/air type of spot but they did have the electronic fly deterrent fans. Street parking here.

We started with the aloha coffee iced and hot. It was delicious. Lots to choose from on the menu. Eggs Benedict were cooked well. Hollandaise sauce was perfect. My kids loved the Nutella crepes with fruits. We all enjoyed the thin sliced potatoes. Carolina checked on us throughout our meal and was so great! We definitely will be back.
My friend invited me here for lunch and I had never tried this place before. She indicate that she enjoyed her time dining here and that she wanted me to also try it. Upon arrival, my friend was not there yet, a hostess greeted me and offered to seat me. I texted my friend to let her know that I was seated. The place is visually appealing. There are nice green plants and calming design elements throughout the dining room. Our server came to introduce herself and she was customer service oriented. We ordered: 2 Chicken Sandos, 1 Latte, and 1 Matcha Latte. Everything was DELICIOUS!! Our experience was awesome! I will definitely come back and bring my family.
This was definitely a trendy and aesthetic brunch spot, but I felt like I was paying more for the atmosphere as opposed to good food. Starting with the positive, the interior was vibrant and I loved the shades of green on the wall. For the food, I ordered the smoked salmon benedict, which tasted pretty standard but came with pretty small portions, especially for the price. The pistachio latte was also disappointing, it tasted too artificial and syrupy to the point where I couldn't taste the espresso. The wait was around 40 minutes, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation during peak hours. The host at the front was very nice and gave us waters while we waited outside!

That being said, I'd imagine the other 10 months a year this is a solid 4 star experience. Made a reservation and were seated right away. It did take a little while for our server to come take our orders (all at once, no time for drinks first since we had waited so long). After that the food and drinks came out at a reasonable pace. I really enjoyed my Papacito bowl and the ube French toast we shared for the table. I also really enjoyed my coconut espresso martini.

Food was also okay, not bad but not the delectable brunch i was looking for. husband got the AM asada- it was fine. steak needed seasoning. i got the bacon benny- it wa better once i stopped eating the english muffin and just the egg and bacon it lacked sauce. they also brought out my sons food immediately which was great but that was the only thing that came fast so then he was ready to go when we had r even put in our order. drinks were the standout both the cucumber martini and lattes
I have not been to this spot since it first opened and love that I remembered this spot when trying to find a good place for breakfast with my mom. During the week this spot really isn't super busy so it is easy to walk in and get a table. I love how bright and colorful it is inside. My mom went with the chilaquiles and I got the papacito bowl which has vegan chorizo and a vegan creama but I got it with real eggs because I am not vegan but the bowl itself sounded really good and it was a good amount of food I ended up taking some home to have for breakfast the next day. Every time I have gone it has been during the week so parking has been very easy, mostly paid street parking but what isn't in San Diego these days.
I've come here multiple times now, and it's become one of our go-to breakfast spots. Making reservations is always super easy, which I really appreciate. I always get the steak and eggs--they're so delicious and the steak is always juicy. Their coffees are all amazing too, and the Irish coffee is especially yummy. I also love that this spot is kid-friendly, has good music, and isn't overly loud, so it's still comfortable for families or a nice breakfast out. The staff is always very attentive and welcoming. My only small downside is parking can be a little tricky, but that's pretty expected for North Park. Overall, definitely one of our favorite breakfast spots!
Ok, I shouldn't have fallen for the Tik Tok trap when I saw their eggs benni burro online. The burrito consisted of straight thick slices of potatoes, soggy spinach, and raw egg. I've never had a watery burrito, so this is a first! Crepe was just average.

Trendy, cute spot in North Park with a great vibe from the moment you walk in. Parking was easy enough--I found street parking in a residential area about a 5-minute walk away. Sarah was an amazing server and made the experience even better. I ordered the Espresso Merakini, and she helped me decide on the Birria Benedict. Great recommendation! I also requested my potatoes extra crispy, and they came out exactly how I like them. Everything was delicious, the ambiance was on point, and the overall energy of the place was fantastic. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, this is definitely a spot I'd come back to. read more

This place is suuuuper cute! The service was quick and easy. They have a full bar with amazing breakfast cocktails. I love the feel of this place. Open and spacious, and they even have the fly fan for each table. The potatoes were perfect. Crispy and tasty. The steak was a perfect medium and the cherry on top was the French 75. I will definitely make this place a solid go to. read more

My first time here was a year ago. I gave it another try recently and it's still 3 stars for me, maybe even 2.5 stars really. Food is overpriced but the atmosphere and aesthetics are great. The bacon was overdone. The chimichurri steak sandwich had a nice flavor but the meat was very chewy. On the menu it's listed as coming on ciabatta bread but it came on sourdough instead. I love sourdough so I didn't mind but would've rather ciabatta for this particular sandwich. The passionfruit margarita and michelada were good but nothing special. The winner of our meal was surprisingly the organic greens salad which we added shrimp to. It was delicious but came with only 6 shrimp (so $1 each) but the shrimp were big and cooked well. Customer service lacked. It took a long time for Sasha to bring us water and she forgot to bring us a sharing plate that she stated she would. We had to ask for water refills in the beginning. She never once checked on us, only to ask if we wanted more alcohol. When we paid the bill, she just took the payment machine, stared down at it, and walked away in silence (not even a fake 'thanks, have a nice day') or anything. I no longer really tip based on the % of the total bill anymore because I've realized customer service is the same no matter how much the bill is. I think she was unhappy with her tip but sorry, I'm not tipping well for below average service and food. read more

This was my first time coming to San Diego and my first time at this location. 10 out of 10. Music is 8/10, like it's comfortable literally a vibe for someone rolling solo. When I order out my go to is usually the chicken and this chicken was very juicy and very tender. I was very satisfied once I took that first bite. The service is very friendly. Ive been on a mission to find some of ther best breakfast/ brunch spot in San Diego so of course I found the vibe close by. There were a couple people in the restaurant for brunch since it was almost noon. I looked over the menu and decided on the berry French toast with a side of bacon and 2 medium eggs. The bacon was some of the best bacon I've ever had. Super crispy and just good. They make their brioche in house and man was the French toast on point. Soft not eggy and yum. The vibe was great. I sat by the long table on the wall that had the pull down gate open. There was shade from the tree but it was still nice and sunny. The breeze coming from outside made breakfast super enjoyable. Service was great my waitress was super nice and attentive. I'd definitely come back and try other items. read more
Such a cute place! They've got the aesthetic down perfectly!! The cups were so cute, the plates, even the way they plated their food was beautiful. It didn't take long to seat us at all, and they were very patient even though I had a party of at least 5 people. I got the main breakfast burrito, but I replaced the bacon for steak because I normally don't really like bacon. In this case, I should've just left it the way it was since the burrito was kind of plain to me and maybe the bacon would've brought out the flavoring in a better way. The poached egg was delicious though. My friend got the chimichurri steak sandwich which looked SO good, the salmon Benedict, and the chilaquiles. Been to this location in the past before it changed to The Vibe and for this visit, my friend and I definitely came during a good day! We got seated right away and our server took care of us shortly after. My only complaint was that it gets stuffy inside when you're seated away from the door and the open windows, but maybe (and obviously) the heat contributed to that lol. That's no one fault for that either. As for our orders we got: - Birria Benedict (go do yourself a favor and get this) - Chilaquiles - Arnold Palmer - Orange juice (can't go wrong with that for a quick lil brunch meeting) Will I be back? Yes! I'm looking forward to trying their other brunch options and hopefully drinks next time. For those who care about this part: parking is mainly street (since it's in a busy location), but if you don't mind walking, there's usually spots around the residential areas. Please remember to be respectful of your surroundings if you do decide to leave your car in those areas for some time. read more
Street parking only. People drive a little fast, be careful when parking. They have a small happy hour menu M-F from 8am-10am with $12 items. Tacos are ONLY on Tuesdays. One waitress was serving the entire restaurant so service was slow. Never had a water refill and by the time we were checked on we just asked for boxes so we could leave. I was hoping they would bring the check with the boxes or shortly after but no, we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for someone else to see us sitting there with boxes waiting for the check. Tried: Chilaquiles $12 + $5 to add Birria - this was decent Aloha coffee - good Pistachio cold brew - good Breakfast sandwich $12 - awful. This was the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The smoked turkey was super dry, like crispy flakes. There was no seasoning on the eggs. It really needed an aioli of some kind. The potatoes were under cooked and slightly crunchy. I would have mentioned my dislike of the sandwich/asked for mayo/salt/pepper from the server however we were never checked on after receiving our food. It was only after my friend was almost done with theirs that I was able to flag someone to get a box to just take it home. Overall I would say stop by for coffee but not food. read more
Had Saturday morning brunch at The Vibe & we loved how spacious it felt inside with all the windows & doors open. It blended the inside & outside really well so much so I was wearing my shades indoors haha Service was great, our waiter was really attentive & patient given we needed some extra time to order. There's a good selection of drinks, cocktails, mocktails, and coffee. I didn't get a picture but I ordered the Hotel California cocktail and it was so good I ordered another. It was sweet but not too overwhelming that you couldn't taste the tequila. We ordered the Salmon Toast, Veggie Benedict, and A.M asada. All the food came out in a timely manner & was delicious. My only issue is that I felt like the A.M. asada was such a small portion of steak for what it was priced at but it's a trendy brunch spot in San Diego so the high prices were expected. Parking can be a little tough over the weekends in this area but overall a good spot for a brunch date. read more

I can confidently confirm that The Vibe was in fact a vibe. Make a reservation on OpenTable prior. You will have a seamless experience. Parking was the only challenge but if you come here early then you're good. Uber is an option as well. No docking stars for parking please... My hubby and I were here yesterday for the day after his birthday brunch!!! He loved his birria benedict. So flavorful so good! Generous portion FYI I ordered the veggie omelette with pico de gallo on the side. The mushrooms, spinach, cheese and everything was the perfect combination. The herb potatoes were cooked to perfection. I almost cried. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! Also you get your veggies in at brunch so I'm here for it. Would I ever steer you in the wrong direction? Negative$$ Our waiter checked in on us frequently. He was so kind and helpful. He recommended the pistachio espresso martini so I got that. Loved the subtle taste of pistachio and how festive this place was. It was giving Christmas time is here fa la la la la la la la la. The total was $87 with tip. Fantastic service and even better food! The papacito is a nice blend of flavors nothing overwhelms the other. Drink were also very good and well priced! The setting was also clean, music was good, light hearted and not too loud. Highly recommend! read more

Locals would rather pay $30 to eat somewhere with a neon "Live, laugh, love" sign written in cursive than pay $10 at a greasy spoon with a waitress named Marg. Doesn't bother me. I'd prefer it. Food: 4 Service: 4 Ambiance: 4 We stopped by The Vibe on a Friday morning, and it was perfect... no wait at all and not busy yet, which made the whole experience super relaxing. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted right away. The space is bright, clean, and really aesthetic, definitely the kind of place that puts you in a good mood. We ordered three different Benedicts, the Smoked Salmon, the Bacon, and the Birria and all of them were extremely tasty. Each one had great flavors and was cooked perfectly. I also got the Mexican mocha latte, which was delicious and definitely worth ordering again. Overall, such a great brunch spot with amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere. Not a place I would pick for myself but a friend wanted to go. Staff was very friendly. Food was good but more expensive than it needed to be in my opinion. $22 for french toast. $5 for 4 small sausage links. But I suppose in 2025 you pay for ambiance and location. The Vibe at Normal Height! We stumbled on this cute and vibing place for breakfast. They did not disappoint. Our server was on point and catered to our needs, 5 stars for sure. The food was amazing and it went out fast. The crepe was deliciously sexed with fresh berries, the bacon eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly with spinach topped with crispy bacon, goodness on a plate. The farmers with egg white's upon request , with bacon and potatoes was delicious . This was more than enough to share. The veggie omelette was delicious and the ingredients were fresh and savory!! This places serves breakfast and brunch. They also have an array of Martinis. Great place overall, definitely will come back! read more
Cute place with nice offerings in both brunch dishes and drinks. I got a refreshing Strawberry Chiller (non alcoholic drink with coconut milk and strawberry and mint). I highly recommend it - it was soooo refreshing! I also ordered the Koloa Ube French Toast. It was yummy but overpriced for the portion you get (which is 1 French toast). The place inside was well decorated and super cute for a brunch date with gals. The place has to work on their fly problem though. There were soooooo many flies in the restaurant, it was kinda gross. We kept trying to swat them away. One landed (& died) in my water glass. I've seen some places have little tower fans for people's tables, I think that would work well for this place. read more
