Nothing special. The drinks were average, prices were average, nothing really stood out. They're not bad, but they don't blow you away as well. The entrance is from the back even though it's connected to caffe Calabria. I thought the seating arrangements were kinda awkward but it's fine if you're just getting one drink. Friendly bartenders. They have an upstairs too; it's pretty cool.

The ambience is very chill with good music, great cocktails in North Park. I am a lover of gin coupe refreshing drinks and this place is it You must come for the happy hour and then the rooftop bar at 8pm

You can enter through the alley or cafe. This is a dimly lit chill cocktail bar with fun music. Great place to have a conversation and meet people. Bartenders were extremely friendly and provided great service. The Wrong Yacht drink was amazing! I definitely want to come again during happy hour and want to also try an espresso martini here. They also offer non-alcoholic cocktails as well.

A happy hour that goes until 7pm?!? Yes please! Cocktails are $8-$10 (or could be up to $12) on their HH menu. If you order drinks here, you can order a pizza and bring it in from the restaurant. You cannot bring their cocktails to the restaurant though. It tends to be warmer on the first floor. They have a small outdoor space which is great if it's too dark, too hot, or too loud. The second floor is surprisingly cooler than the first floor they also have a nice patio upstairs. There are TVs and if there's a padres game, it'll be on but it'll be crowded. A good staple for a weeknight HH.

My girlfriend and I both agreed that we found our #1 bar in San Diego. This is our second time here after dinner. We both love the drinks, friendly bartenders, vibe, and the corners around the bar where you and your date can enjoy the drink and ambiance. Love it!

Love this new NYC style bar that opened up in the back of Caffe Calabria. It is not so much a speakeasy, quite easy to find - more an addition to the restaurant. The entire area is clean and modern. The menu is robust with affordable drinks (about $13 which YES is affordable for SD). We didn't notice the upstairs until our last 20 min in the bar and wish we had seen it sooner! It's cozier. Would definitely return to this bar! They also have a TV and it was fun to watch the padres game.

Fantastic pizza!! Lovely seating and great atmosphere. Service took a while, but that's because it's so popular!

Came here on a week night to finally check out. First information is where is this located: Two options: -through the restaurant and walk all the way to the back -if it's closed then enter from the back side/alley side (u will see furniture and lights easily) We tried one of their shots (1 for $6 or 2 for $10) and tried some of their cocktails. Everything was really tasty and the price wasn't too bad. Cocktails were $13. There is a late night happy hour from midnight to 2am.

This place came recommended to me from another bartender while I was visiting the area. It ended up being my favorite stop of the night! The bartenders were super friendly, the old school hip-hop music was great, and it's truly a beautiful venue. It has a speakeasy feel, so it was a little bit hard to find, but once I did, I was impressed! Be sure to check out the upstairs as well.

Their espresso martini was sooo bomb! It was made with tequila! We got there at midnight so their entrance was thru the back. The place was so aesthetic. The service was amazing

Busy but great ambience and service, very upbeat cocktail bar highlighting their excellent drinks first and foremost. Had the Rush Hour and Lost in Cali, will def be back for more!

What a vibey little speakeasy! My work had planned a North Crawl bar hopping night and we ended the night here, We were able to reserve a corner of the place for 15 of us. We entered through the alley entrance and the space is small & intimate. Lots of nice seating around, and even an upstairs area with even more. Upstairs, there is a small balcony that overlooks the restaurant front where you can also access the speakeasy. The drinks are yummy, I got the White Linen which has vodka, elderflower, cucumber, lime, sugar, and soda -- HIGHLY recommend, it is so refreshing! I tasted others' drinks Passion Petal Punch - a fruity and smokey mezcal cocktail, and Espresso Martini - sweet and strong. A great place to have drinks :)

    Cocktails were delish!

Great space! Great vibes. Great drinks. Plenty of seating (they have an upstairs area too), which is always a plus for my 30+ year old body. Definitely a hidden gem.

They also checked with several times to make sure we had everything we needed, which was great because we were so distracted talking lol so it helped us re-order drinks and appetizers. The spicy tuna crispy rice was soo good, it had a really unique flavor. My drink, the "heads will roll" was BOMB. While the pricing may be slightly higher than other venues, the service and experience were well worth it. Just a warning about a potential GPS issue...Both my Lyft driver and my friends' Uber driver dropped us off two blocks away, on a side street at the wrong location so be alert and don't get out early like we did! Overall, it was an somewhat upscale, unique, and chill experience, and I look forward to returning.

When I made the reservation, it was noted that there is a 1.5 hour limit on the table. Thankfully, Botanica isn't incredibly stringent about this rule as it gave us more time to eat, drink and be merry. My friend and I split the bill and I paid $87.49 with tip included. Here's what we had: Blistered shishito peppers - mild spice but flavorful New York strip yakitori - ordered two of these because they were that good! The steak was tender and the sauce rendered an umami flavor Botanika roll - tasted fine, but it ate one note. You can taste the citrusy parts but not much else. Mochi dessert - you can only get dessert if you order the pre fixe chef menu, but since our waitress didn't know this, she put the order in and gave it to us! We were incredibly grateful because it was the perfect end to a good meal For cocktails we ordered Spirited Away, Dragon of the West, Kyoko Sakura & Heads will Roll. All of the cocktails were beautifully presented and quite tasty.

I made a reservation (just in case) because on a weekend you never know. Luckily, though, we arrived and there was plenty of available seating. My husband and I had our 10 and 5 year old with us and they easily accommodated us. It's a straightforward, but lovely menu that has a little bit for everyone. We enjoyed sharing a few plates and fresh oysters on the half shell. They do not have a kids menu, which was alright with us. Our daughter, who loves a good steak at 5 years old, enjoyed their pub steak and fries and shared a Mexican Coke with her brother. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sharing their beef tartare and to finish it off, a banana split. What we found so whimsical about Finca is their presentation. My husband and I really enjoyed exploring their menu and leaving room for a return visit soon. I couldn't recommend Finca more for anyone looking for a fun and casual dining experience with a lovely staff and unique take on traditional favorites.

As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I found this bar unbelievably great, and not just because the whole menu is non-alcoholic, but because the drinks themselves are thoughtful and well executed. 5/5 stars for both taste and presentation. We tried a couple of drinks and both were exceptional. The flavors were multidimensional, with each element distinct and identifiable. The bold drinks were executed perfectly, smooth, and just an overall great experience. Honestly, we didn't want the experience to end. Inside, there's an area with board games you can grab and bring to your table for some social entertainment. There's also a retail section where you can buy non-alcoholic spirits, bitters, mixers, and more. It's a large space with a good mix of seating, booths, sofas, love seats, so it works well whether you're a small group or a larger party. One note: I didn't see dedicated parking during my visit. This place came up as a completely alcohol free bar and I was so excited to try it out. The bartenders were friendly, the vibe in here is so awesome. Cool things to look at on the walls, an entire shelf of non-alcoholic wines and beers, merch from the owner herself, it was a very unique and hip place. I really couldn't believe I had the bar to myself on a Tuesday night around 6. The message this place stands by is what makes it amazing to me. Check out their website, you'll see what I mean. In the mornings they have functional coffee drinks and by night they have functional cocktails. There were delicious options to choose from, some with Kava, some with CBD. I ended up going with the drink called the weekend, which was watermelon, coconut, peach, cherry sour and lemon. It was garnished with a sour patch watermelon candy and that's exactly what it tasted like. I just had one drink and closed out and my bill came to $21 and I was like eeeeeek. I love the idea of this place, being sober myself and still someone who loves a bar and the social atmosphere I think this place is amazing and needed in every city but I wouldn't stay here and hang out because of the drink prices. I understand the price for an alcoholic drink, not for a spirit free cocktail. It's just not doable, for me. Don't let that deter you, check it out, very cool experience. And again, an amazing message.
