Solid spot, cool vibe! We ordered: freddo cappucino whole milk $5.65 freddo cappucino oat milk $6.65 freddo espresso $4.50 ea $1 surcharge for oat milk is pretty high I personally had the freddo espresso. It has a bit of sweetness, so it is definitely super easy to drink! Quite a bit of seating inside and dog friendly! Staff is friendly as well too. Cool DJ set inside...I'm sure they throw some fun events!

Freddo cappuccino to go

Stopped by Nomade Coffee on a Sunday morning and it was such a vibe. They had a DJ going, which made it super fun. I couldn't stay since I had my dog with me.. he's older and was too overstimulated lol but we grabbed two coffees to go. But they are dog friendly. Definitely try the Freddo cappuccino, it was delicious and strong, but in the best way. Also, their to-go cups are so cute! Would love to come back and actually hang out next time.

Decided to come with the girls for brunch, but come early so you don't have parking issues. Place is nicely decorated with what seems a good bar for the evening. As I came for brunch I ordered the olive honey latte with oat milk and the chopped TBLT sandwich. I missed the "chopped" part in the description bc the turkey and bacon were definitely chopped and mixed together like a salad. I wasn't a fan of this version, but the sandwich did taste ok. As for my latte ... I don't know what I expected for the olive oil taste, but I couldn't taste it. I did have to stir every time to drink as the olive settles as a top layer. It did taste like good as it just tasted like a honey latte. Our server was great. I had plenty of questions and she was patient and helpful. Definitely coming back, but for the evening drinks.

Matrimonio ($14): sourdough bread, house cream cheese, chives, fresh and cured anchovies

The ambiance in here is so unique! When you walk in, it looks both chic and modern. I like how they display a lot of records on the walls. For food, we ordered: -My favorite was the Patatas Bravas ($9): which had layers of fried potato along with brava sauce. -Shrimp Skewer ($14): This came with 3 garlic grilled shrimp, along with the tallow-fried shrimp heads and spicy aioli. Our waiter encouraged us to eat the fried shrimp heads whole. -Matrimonio ($14): This had sourdough bread, house cream cheese, chives, fresh and cured anchovies. For us, this popular dish didn't live up to the hype. -The smash burger ($26) had premium ribeye, cheddar cheese, dill pickles, house sauce on a potato roll with a side of tallow fries. While this was filling, there wasn't anything that stood out. In the future, I would order more apps instead. For drinks: -Travieso ($14): This cocktail had blueberry amaro, dry vermouth, lemon, muddled cucumber, and strawberry. It was well balanced. -There were four mocktail options. I got the Grey Fox ($10) which had earl grey syrup, lemon, and tonic. This was a unique drink, and it was very refreshing. For dessert: -Our waiter recommended the vegan chocolate cake ($12), and said it's one of his favorites even though he isn't vegan. We loved this, and how it came with a ton of strawberry slices. I'd highly recommend this dessert. All in all, this tapas and wine bar is such a unique experience that's worth checking out!

American breakfast

We came for breakfast and coffee and it was incredible! Get the freddo cappuccino, it will not disappoint. I'm not sure of any other place in San Diego that does these. I also got the American standard breakfast which was great and fair price! They place records which makes for a nice ambiance to work from home or study. Lots of seating, parking is hit or miss, would recommend going during the week!

We came for breakfast after a hike and it did not disappoint! The portions were very generous. The avocado toast came with one egg but realistically had at least 2! The service was fast, the place was not too busy. The decor was a vibe! The had lots of records, car models, and lots more around the bar area.

Very cool and vibey for a cocktail and tapas. The music is based off records the bartender pulls. Their cocktails are curated well. Their take on a Negroni pleasantly surprised me. Definitely one to try (and trust me, you'll enjoy!). Bar seating and dining seating available.

great tunes and vibes. was here for breakfast and some coffee, and everything was yummy and fresh. I do want to come back when they open back up for dinner and get a glass of wine, but I imagine it gets much busier at night!

I would skip eating here. Food looks better than it tastes. Super overpriced for how it tastes. Small portions. Again it looks nice. But theres not much seasoning in most of their food. And if it werent for the sauces on the side wouldnt have any flavor at all The vibe is ok. And again maybe looks better in photos. I think if ur in the area alrdy sure. But dont go out of your way to come

Serrano pesto sandwich

After getting a few insta posts highlighting Nomade and its aesthetic listening cafe concept, I decided to try it out for myself. I stopped by for lunch on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised by the vibes. Good music was playing and people were chatting over coffees and tapas. The serrano pesto sandwich sounded too delicious to not get, and I ordered an iced vanilla matcha latte to wash it down. Both items were so delicious! The sandwich was dressed on the heavier side, so if that's not your cup of tea, might want to ask for light dressing. The barista accidentally gave me the wrong matcha, but was so sweet about it and remade another one for me pretty quickly. I'm so glad she did cos the vanilla matcha was tasty.. you could literally see the vanilla bean specks. Overall, I liked this spot and its location (although parking is solely whatever's available on the street). I look forward to coming back in the evening time or to listen to their next featured DJ set.

Had a reservation here this past Sunday for my monthly book club meeting. The vibes were great, the drinks were also amazing. We started off with coffee & matcha from the breakfast menu. I had the chilaquiles that I scarfed down so fast I forgot the photo lol. Very delicious! Definitely want to try the lunch/dinner menu with their shareable apps next. The reason I did not give a five star was primarily due to our experience with the server. I didn't catch his name honestly, but he was impolite and we felt rushed to leave. Right after receiving our first round of drinks and submitting our orders for food he asked if we were ready for the check. We had not even been there 20mins. It would be understandable if it were busy but there was at most four tables occupied by small groups or couples. When the time to pay came around he was also rude about having to split the check 4 ways. Although we all loved the food and drinks, and the ambiance. The service could use some improvement.

Potatas bravas
Marcel M.

What a beautiful place to have a delicious dinner! I absolutely love the wood paneling on the ceiling and that's what brought us in. All of the food was not only delicious but felt creative. Never had patatas bravas this way but they were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good! Highly recommend! Food: 4.5 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 5 Marcels foodie score: 4.7

I really wanted to like this place. The esthetics were super cute. Love the vintage records vibes. I had a meeting on a late Wednesday morning. They were out of pastries by 11:00am which was a bummer. I wasn't hungry enough for a full on meal. I got a Matcha Latte with Almond Milk and he got a Cortado. Drinks came out quickly. He requested sugar on the side. I was excited to discover my friend's wine on the shelf. Overall drinks were fine, service was ok, they didn't seem particularly happy to be at work. Might try it again during a different time.

I made a reservation (just in case) because on a weekend you never know. Luckily, though, we arrived and there was plenty of available seating. My husband and I had our 10 and 5 year old with us and they easily accommodated us. It's a straightforward, but lovely menu that has a little bit for everyone. We enjoyed sharing a few plates and fresh oysters on the half shell. They do not have a kids menu, which was alright with us. Our daughter, who loves a good steak at 5 years old, enjoyed their pub steak and fries and shared a Mexican Coke with her brother. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sharing their beef tartare and to finish it off, a banana split. What we found so whimsical about Finca is their presentation. My husband and I really enjoyed exploring their menu and leaving room for a return visit soon. I couldn't recommend Finca more for anyone looking for a fun and casual dining experience with a lovely staff and unique take on traditional favorites.

I think we ordered just about everything on the left side of the menu, but the standouts were the beef tartare, the lamb osso buco, and the hamachi. This may have just become my new regular haunt. It's a fantastic neighborhood gem that deserves a place on any foodie's must-visit list. Absolutely love this place!

Our waitress was a total superstar and took great care of us with service and answering questions. We even joked about Star Trek a bit. I ordered the Rose salad and some roasted potatoes (Bravas Rosas). The potatoes were really delicious and well-seasoned with crunchy and soft parts and a nice spicy dipping sauce. I wanted to love the salad because it was large and well-dressed, BUT the lettuce was gritty and could've used a more thorough rinse. I ended up not eating much of it because the texture wasn't good. One of my friends got the Rose Salad Pie which she really enjoyed (basically a pizza with Rose Salad on top) and my other friend got the gazpacho which really liked. I would definitely come back and try some other dishes. If I do, I'll update the review!

I love how she said we could opt not to do the yoga at all and just play with kitties if we wanted! After the session was over, we had some time to play with kitties in the lounge and catio. The restaurant itself has a casual outdoorsy vibe with lots of smaller tables, but they also had two tent setups for larger groups which made our dinner feel a little more private and special. Favorites of the night were definitely the Elote-Style Cauliflower (so flavorful and delicious!!) and the Wildflower Cornbread Muffins which were honestly fantastic. The Forager's Truffle Flatbread was also really good -- nice truffle flavor without being overpowering. The Award-Winning Truffle Fries were decent, and the Lodge Pretzel Board was okay too; the mustard butter was great but the alpine cheese dip didn't really wow us. We also tried the Artichoke and BBQ Chicken Flatbreads which were both solid choices for sharing with a group. One thing we noted though was that besides the flatbreads, the "Basecamp Mains" section was completely non-vegetarian, which was why we ended up doing only shared appetizers instead of trying out the entrees as half our group was vegetarian and did not have any options to choose from. We ended up skipping dessert since none of the options really stood out to us and headed elsewhere for sweets afterward. Overall, a really fun atmosphere for a group dinner with good service, great vibes, and several standout dishes. I definitely want to return with my family to try out some of the entrees as well.
