    Freddo cappuccino to go
    Gabriella C.

Stopped by Nomade Coffee on a Sunday morning and it was such a vibe. They had a DJ going, which made it super fun. I couldn't stay since I had my dog with me.. he's older and was too overstimulated lol but we grabbed two coffees to go. But they are dog friendly. Definitely try the Freddo cappuccino, it was delicious and strong, but in the best way. Also, their to-go cups are so cute! Would love to come back and actually hang out next time.

We came for breakfast after a hike and it did not disappoint! The portions were very generous. The avocado toast came with one egg but realistically had at least 2! The service was fast, the place was not too busy. The decor was a vibe! The had lots of records, car models, and lots more around the bar area.

Decided to come with the girls for brunch, but come early so you don't have parking issues. Place is nicely decorated with what seems a good bar for the evening. As I came for brunch I ordered the olive honey latte with oat milk and the chopped TBLT sandwich. I missed the "chopped" part in the description bc the turkey and bacon were definitely chopped and mixed together like a salad. I wasn't a fan of this version, but the sandwich did taste ok. As for my latte ... I don't know what I expected for the olive oil taste, but I couldn't taste it. I did have to stir every time to drink as the olive settles as a top layer. It did taste like good as it just tasted like a honey latte. Our server was great. I had plenty of questions and she was patient and helpful. Definitely coming back, but for the evening drinks.

The ambiance in here is so unique! When you walk in, it looks both chic and modern. I like how they display a lot of records on the walls. For food, we ordered: -My favorite was the Patatas Bravas ($9): which had layers of fried potato along with brava sauce. -Shrimp Skewer ($14): This came with 3 garlic grilled shrimp, along with the tallow-fried shrimp heads and spicy aioli. Our waiter encouraged us to eat the fried shrimp heads whole. -Matrimonio ($14): This had sourdough bread, house cream cheese, chives, fresh and cured anchovies. For us, this popular dish didn't live up to the hype. -The smash burger ($26) had premium ribeye, cheddar cheese, dill pickles, house sauce on a potato roll with a side of tallow fries. While this was filling, there wasn't anything that stood out. In the future, I would order more apps instead. For drinks: -Travieso ($14): This cocktail had blueberry amaro, dry vermouth, lemon, muddled cucumber, and strawberry. It was well balanced. -There were four mocktail options. I got the Grey Fox ($10) which had earl grey syrup, lemon, and tonic. This was a unique drink, and it was very refreshing. For dessert: -Our waiter recommended the vegan chocolate cake ($12), and said it's one of his favorites even though he isn't vegan. We loved this, and how it came with a ton of strawberry slices. I'd highly recommend this dessert. All in all, this tapas and wine bar is such a unique experience that's worth checking out!

great tunes and vibes. was here for breakfast and some coffee, and everything was yummy and fresh. I do want to come back when they open back up for dinner and get a glass of wine, but I imagine it gets much busier at night!

Very cool and vibey for a cocktail and tapas. The music is based off records the bartender pulls. Their cocktails are curated well. Their take on a Negroni pleasantly surprised me. Definitely one to try (and trust me, you'll enjoy!). Bar seating and dining seating available.

I would skip eating here. Food looks better than it tastes. Super overpriced for how it tastes. Small portions. Again it looks nice. But theres not much seasoning in most of their food. And if it werent for the sauces on the side wouldnt have any flavor at all The vibe is ok. And again maybe looks better in photos. I think if ur in the area alrdy sure. But dont go out of your way to come

We came for breakfast and coffee and it was incredible! Get the freddo cappuccino, it will not disappoint. I'm not sure of any other place in San Diego that does these. I also got the American standard breakfast which was great and fair price! They place records which makes for a nice ambiance to work from home or study. Lots of seating, parking is hit or miss, would recommend going during the week!

After getting a few insta posts highlighting Nomade and its aesthetic listening cafe concept, I decided to try it out for myself. I stopped by for lunch on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised by the vibes. Good music was playing and people were chatting over coffees and tapas. The serrano pesto sandwich sounded too delicious to not get, and I ordered an iced vanilla matcha latte to wash it down. Both items were so delicious! The sandwich was dressed on the heavier side, so if that's not your cup of tea, might want to ask for light dressing. The barista accidentally gave me the wrong matcha, but was so sweet about it and remade another one for me pretty quickly. I'm so glad she did cos the vanilla matcha was tasty.. you could literally see the vanilla bean specks. Overall, I liked this spot and its location (although parking is solely whatever's available on the street). I look forward to coming back in the evening time or to listen to their next featured DJ set.

Good service, music fit the vibe, and drinks were good! The server answered all of my questions and checked on us several times - she was very nice and attentive!

I discovered this spot form Tiktok and had a gos in mind one day to hit up little while that's 2 doors down and decided not to wait in line. When I stopped and looked up I realized nomade was right there! So I went in and felt such an eclectic atmosphere here. From the decor and seating arrangement having a minimalist vibe to the wine bar and coffee providing yet another twist to the space. And jazz music with record players everywhere. How did they make this space so cozy is beyond me I loved being there. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Manuela served my coffee and she was very kind. They have unique coffee like olive oil! I was intimated to try it this time but I will next time!

We were walking past and stuck our heads in and were delighted by the ambiance. Love the vibe, the decor is on point, love the little "wine shop" where we got a beautiful bottle of Moroccan rose, the menu was terrific and Nomade wins on food and setting. HOWEVER, we would be hard pressed to come back just based on the service alone. The "host" seating guy seemed like maybe it was his first day on the job (quite disorganized and for someone who set the experience for guests was super casual and unprofessional) and our waiter was seriously one of the worst I have experienced in San Diego, ending in a conversation about the origin of Basque food that was borderline offensive. He could not have been less interested in us or in being there it seemed. Completely dismissive. Also, it seems that the wait staff are responsible for changing over the vinyl records in addition to being rude to customers and there were a couple of lengthy awkward silences in the restaurant when they forgot they were DJs as well as servers. Nomade really needs to train their staff to meet the quality of their restaurant. We'll come back when they do.

What a beautiful place to have a delicious dinner! I absolutely love the wood paneling on the ceiling and that's what brought us in. All of the food was not only delicious but felt creative. Never had patatas bravas this way but they were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good! Highly recommend! Food: 4.5 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 5 Marcels foodie score: 4.7

From the minute we walked up to the door to the dish recommendations, everything was so warm and welcoming. Drinks, both alcoholic and NA, were well-balanced and refreshing. Really opened our appetite to crush a bunch of fresh seafood ...speaking of... Wow. Just wow. Everything was so fresh and you could taste the ocean in each bite. - Oysters were freshly shucked and delicious without any of the add-on sauces/dressings - Carpaccio: not to say that it wasn't delicious. It's just that compared to everything else, this was just good. skippable tbh - Sardines on toast: another banger! such thick whole pieces that just melted away with each bite. yum. - Mussels (MVP app): wowwwww so good. Underrated. So glad our server recommended them. If I had to redo our meal, I'd have ordered 2 and skipped the carpaccio. MUST GET MUSSELS. - Beets were a refreshing change from the seafood. Open to other salads but def order one as a palette refresher from all the ocean - Octopus: perfectly cooked and not chewy at all - Potatoes: too heavy to end with. Not bad in any way but I'd skip this next time. Really only want a half bite. All in all, Mabel's smashed it and we'll be back 100%. Cheers, Mabel's!

Most cafes/lounges are in shopping centers and do not have the luxury of such a cool feature. I love how secure the facility is by having multiple doors to keep the cats safe and from getting outside. You can tell that the owners carefully thought out their space and the thing I appreciate the most is that you do not smell the litter boxes. I have been to a couple of cafes that smelled horribly and this is coming from someone that not only has a cat sanctuary in ATX, but I have had cats my entire life and you never smell litter box in my home or in my facility. Whiskers and Wine is a great place to unwind and spend time with beautiful kitties in need of a fur-ever home. I understand that some people do not get the concept of a cat cafe, but in order for them to provide such an incredible service to animals, they still have to pay the bills to house and feed the cats. The biggest take away is that cage free facilities are much better for the cats than when they are kept in cages at the local shelter or other animal rescues. Thank you for a great time and for all that you do to help cats in need!

We informed her that we hadn't and she just said "oh no" and she'd be right back. I assumed it was to go grab our server, but she returned herself to wait on us. No apology or anything. She asked us if we wanted to start with drinks (we did) and I asked if we could go ahead and put our order in for the appetizers to get things moving. She told us no, we could not. That we'd have to wait and order everything together (all 3 courses) at the same time. Really? So we just hurried up and quickly picked our dessert just so we could get an appetizer order in. Then we watched the 2 tables next to us order course by course. We assumed that at least that meant the food would come out very quickly, as the entire order was already in. Nope. We sat for some time waiting for our entrée after we were done with our appetizer, and our dessert took so long to come out that we finally flagged our server down just asked for her to prep it to go before she brought it out. We were given with a comment card to fill out and, unbelievably, all the selections were already filled in. Every box marked "Excellent" and a "Yes" on would we recommend this place. The server remarked that we could win $50 if we "filled out" the rest of it. That's about as close to buying reviews as I think you can get, imo. Her parting words to us were, "Hopefully you guys come back another night and you can get waited on right away." No, thank you.
