We were celebrating my cousin's 40th birthday and we were a party of 8. We were able to sit inside the tent, which was very spacious and gave us a semi private dining experience that didn't feel cramped. Our waitress was amazing and attentive! The drinks were great but the food and services were better. The cornbread was amazing! Their Mac and cheese so smooth and creamy. The flatbread was crispy and delicious. Everything was soo tasty but the best part were the smores! We were so excited to make our own little smores at the table !

We chose One Door North to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the night delivered from start to finish. Service stood out most. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk to. The chef even came out to greet us, which made the experience feel personal. Food was strong across the board. We started with the truffle fries, crisp and addictive. My husband ordered the spare ribs, rich and flavorful. I went with the salmon, cooked perfectly and well balanced. Drinks were a highlight too. He had the Chupacabra, spicy in the best way. I ordered the Primrose Fizz and loved it so much we ordered a second round. Then the birthday surprise. They gifted my husband their famed cookie dessert, and wow. Warm, indulgent, and the perfect finish. The ski resort theme ties the whole place together. Cozy, playful, and different from the usual dinner spot. If you want something special for a celebration night, put One Door North on your list. We'll be back.

Love this spot! This was our second dining experience and we are so pleased with the quality of food and top notch service! Located in the heart of North park. One Door North exudes the great outdoors with its warm, and cozy atmosphere. The food was outstanding and the cocktails were on point. I ordered the prime flat iron steak (medium rare) and my beautiful wife ordered the harvest butternut flatbread. Both were delicious! I capped off the evening with a specialty cocktail called "smoke signal" Very smooth! The bourbon, rye, demerara, and cherry smoke were on point and hit the spot! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to connect with family and friends, and enjoy a genuinely delicious meal! Come check this place out!

Smores

Came here for restaurant week... got the short rib pasta was a bit salty. Ther service was alright, but a bit slow eventhough there was only 5 parties in total in the whole restaurant. The smores dessert was overpriced for what it was - a few graham crackers, Hershey chocolate and marshmallows. Don't think ill be back, a bit overpriced all together.

Came in craving truffle fries & Bryan made it so enjoyable. He made one of the best dirty martini's I've EVER HAD, & made sure the fries were at the table ASAP. Definitely will be craving this every Friday!

Came in for happy hour to grab a burger with a buddy. Let me tell you it was juicy and out of this world. Ice cold beer and the burger was done perfectly. This was a day of success. Been eating in the neighborhood for awhile and found my new favorite spot for a solid burger.

Went to One Door North for a midweek dinner and the restaurant was pretty quiet, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. Our server was very nice and took good care of us throughout the evening. We started with the elote-style cauliflower and it was delicious -- definitely the standout dish of the night. The arugula mushroom flatbread was good, but not sure I would order it again; some of the flavors were a little overpowering and didn't come together as well as I hoped. For mains, the first steak we received was overcooked and tough, but the server handled the situation really well and brought out a new one promptly, which I really appreciated. The replacement steak was much better. Wine was also enjoyable and paired nicely with the meal. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual midweek dinner. I'm not sure what the ambiance is like on weekends, but I'd definitely come back to try more menu items -- especially if they keep nailing dishes like that cauliflower.

Pretzel

Stopped in on a Friday night with a reservation for 5:30 (don't judge). There was not a host right away and a few people walked around us without acknowledging us. The great news is the food made up for that. We stayed with the pretzel and I will dream about the cheese sauce and mustard butter. Easily my new favorite pretzel. I ordered the crispy skin salmon and my partner got the short rib rigatoni. Both were amazing. It's so nice to have something different than most CH restaurants. The restaurant had the super cute ski lodge them and I wish we had more people to be in a tent. I'll easily be adding this to my regular rotation.

Great spot for a late night dinner. Service was quick and our waitress had good recommendations. The jalapeño cornbread is really good here definitely recommend and the chicken half order was really good too. The Caesar salad was really fresh ordered it with avocado and chicken as add in's.

I've had this place on my list for years! I should have visited sooner! My friend and I both ordered the flat iron steak. It was delicious!!! The steak, mashed potatoes, and broccolini were all great and the flavors complimented each other well. This dish was a hit for sure. We shared the cast iron cookie. It was definitely one of the best cookies I've ever had. Service was great! The ambiance was a mix of modern with an outdoorsy, camp theme. I can't wait to return!

Came here for restaurant week and there were lots of options to choose from on this menu. We sat at the bar because they didn't have reservations and had very quick service from the bartender. Food was tasty and staff were friendly! Solid drink options

I had been waiting awhile to come here and we made a reservation which was easy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was okay, my burger and truffle fries were good however my partner had the short rib flatbread and it seemed to be lacking (IMO) toppings other than arugula, they really liked it on there. Cocktails were good- I got the bee sting (think that's what it was called) and it was delicious.

Smores Platter
Christine D.

Stopped by during restaurant week and happy I did! Desiree took great care of us and her recommendations were spot on. Food and beverage was great! The rigatoni stole the show. I will be back to have another bowl. I'm not a huge artichoke fan but I would come back for the artichoke dip. Will be back with a bigger group to sit in one of the tents :)

It took me 25 minutes to find a spot, and I eventually had to park quite far away to ensure I wasn't late for my reservation. Moving forward, I would recommend that guests use a rideshare service instead of driving.

I tend to keep it simple and order the same items every time. My go to is the crispy Brussels for $14 and the chicken sandwich for $16, and I usually rotate in the parmesan fries for $10. While they do offer other dishes that are worth trying, these favorites always keep me coming back. The service and ambiance are consistently great. It is located in Hillcrest, so the area is always lively, which adds to the overall experience. The energy, combined with the quality of the food, makes it a reliable choice whether I am dining with friends or hosting out of town guests. That alone was confusing and felt inconsistent. We ordered a rosado from Spain, which we did enjoy, but overall the experience didn't match what you'd expect from a wine bar. The bottle wasn't chilled, and we noticed others in the restaurant had the same issue. Service was also lacking. The bartender never checked back on us, despite us sitting right at the bar. Being a sober girlie, I've heard about this place for years and was thrilled to finally try it so we had to order a few drinks. There's nothing quite like being able to look at a drink menu and know you can order anything from it because it's all sober friendly. They have a CBD infused drink part of the menu, a kava section and a mocktail drink section along with a food menu. The food looked delicious but we came here for a night cap after eating dinner nearby. We snagged 3 drinks- I need to check my notes on which ones we got but they were all so good. This is the type of place you can come here for a first date, date night worh your partner or co-work with your laptop. I saw all varieties of people who were doing their thang and it felt comfortable. The theme is inspired by Mac Miller and the decor is intentional and classic. Word on the street is that the 2 female owners had some disagreements with their investor so there's somewhat bad blood and that's always a bummer to hear people especially those in the sober community not be able to resolve their differences after they've made such an incredibly safe haven for us to enjoy. I really like the growing NA trend, and even though I drink, it's great to have an alternative, safer-feeling, and more inclusive nightlife option. I came with a couple friends on a Sunday night, about a week ago. We all drink alcohol, but we've all been drinking less lately. The place was almost empty around 8pm, which we found concerning for its prospective longevity. We also thought the prices were pretty steep -- maybe I'm biased as someone who drinks alcohol, but if I'm getting a mocktail or other NA drink, I'd like to pay less than $15+ for it. Still, I ordered the Ave Maria and thought it was one of the best mocktails I've ever had. One of my friends got the Malibu (he liked it but did complain about the price), and I don't remember what my other friend got. We sat for a while and played Connect4 using the fanciest set I'd ever seen. Some more people came in, so it didn't feel nearly as empty by the time I left. I'd probably come back, but only if I was with someone who doesn't drink and/or really wanted to try this bar. I hope they make it!
