The sales agent I worked with raved about the quality and care of customer's belongings. I was disappointed when several pieces of wood furniture arrived with scrapes, pieces of wood missing from the legs, and dents on the surface. My couch was also delivered with a thick layer of dust. They also lost the back cushions, rendering the couch useless. Filing a loss claim has already taken more time than it's worth. I gave up, but never again. Extremely disappointed.

Upon arrival she said because of the size, that it would be an additional $50 to move our tv since there was no box (she explained it was so their insurance would cover it. But they broke the tv and after their insurance wouldn't give their money for their fault, we were stuck paying $700 for a move and then having to buy a tv for $600 to replace the one they broke. They asked for photos, said they would pay us in 30 days, and still haven't a month and a half later. We will have to take legal action against them but I wanted to warn everyone not to use them. They overcharge for random fees and are incredibly difficult if something happens.

I found Move Crew on Yelp and reached out via messenger to get an estimate for our move. Sheena…read moreresponds extremely quickly to all messages and after giving her a list of items I needed moved she gave me a quote. It was reasonable compared to others I obtained, and I especially liked that it was a flat fee - not hourly. A move can be very costly all around, so it was nice not to have any surprises when it came to the cost of the move. I put down a deposit via their online system in order to hold my date, and the day before the move she reached out to ensure everything was still the same. She said that the men would arrive between 9:30 and 10:00 and would give me a 30-minute warning call. At 9:50 when I hadn't received a call I reached out to Sheena and she told me that the guys were having truck issues and were running a bit behind. Around 10:20 Sam showed up (he drove separately) and did a walk-thru of the house. Shortly after that the truck (a U-Haul) and two other movers (Oran and Paul) also arrived. They immediately got to work disassembling and wrapping my items and loading everything into the truck. I was very impressed with the wrapping they did for my items. They REALLY wrapped everything, which none of my other movers ever bothered to do. On top of the good work, they were also all very congenial throughout the day. We had some chats about poodles, credit card debt, death...you know, the usual things (lol). Putting all my stuff into the truck took about 3 hours. Things went from great to terrible when they tried to leave the house only to find that the U-Haul truck wouldn't start!! Luckily I live within walking distance to a U-Haul location, so they walked over there to get a battery jump. However, that didn't work, either!!!!! U-Haul thought they should just get another truck and unload everything they had just packed, but they decided to call roadside assistance instead. They ended up sitting in the truck for 90 minutes waiting for them to come. I felt so bad for the guys. Seriously - terrible. What was supposed to be a quick move turned into an all day/night affair. Plus my (old) neighbor was being a bitch about the fact that they were stuck and blocking her driveway. Clearly it wasn't their choice and if everything had gone as planned they would have been gone before she got home from work. Anyway, once roadside assistance came they were actually able to work some magic and the guys made it to the new house without having to unload the truck and pack another. Once they arrived at my new home they all worked very quickly to bring everything inside and get it assembled. It was so late and such a long day and none of them had bad attitudes about the unforeseen obstacles. Despite the fact that everything took hours longer than it was supposed to, I would totally use Move Crew again. U-Haul, on the other hand... Thanks Sam, Oran, Paul, and Sheena!!

We had the best experience from our first call to Tim visiting our home for an extremely fair estimate and the cherry on top was the actual moving days. We were moving out of state and they left our home to go to the new house without saying anything to either me or my partner. This was a problem because we weren't finished and once we noticed they left, had to scramble to leave and a lot of stuff was left behind that we had to come back and deal with several times. 2. We had a new television that was mounted to the wall, they took it down and put it in the truck. Unbeknownst to us, they did not wrap it properly and the screen cracked and therefore it was ruined (see attached photos). We called to tell them about it, talked to someone in the office who assured us she would pass on the message when the manager returned to the office - they still have not gotten back to us - contacted 3 times over the last 2 weeks - about compensation/reimbursement for the damage. Additionally, they returned with a second truck the next morning and a few young men to help that on our observation should've been supervised more closely. This move was very expensive and we are disappointed about the poor customer service and lack of attention to our issue. We of course contacted the credit card company but are clearly disappointed in the customer service/lack of response.

Background follows: I had some cherished family furniture that I needed to donate. After learning about Habitat for Humanity ReStore, I used their very efficient web site and scheduling system. It was easy to navigate, and it worked perfectly. I received follow-up emails and text messages for the pickup, where the donated furniture was going, and reassurance that the family furniture was going to the right place. Because the furniture was too big for me to move outside, and as Restore can't come into the house, Restore assigned the pick-up to Bulk Brothers. Bulk Brothers acknowledged the assignment, and began their own follow-up text messages, keeping me informed of the vehicle license plate that would do the pickup, driver, and time for pick up. This whole interaction, and follow-on actions by Restore and Bulk Brothers was easy and professional done!
