I hired Jay Hilo's last second movers through the U-haul app. I hired this company because they were the highest rated moving company on there. They were hired for 3 hours to load and unload my moving truck. First of all, they were 2 and a half hours late getting to my apartment with no call stating they would be late. When they arrived, the truck was almost all the way loaded thanks to my 2 sons so there wasn't much left for them to load. They were very slow workers. It took them the full 3 hours to finish loading and unloading the truck at my new apartment. This left no time for them to reassemble my furniture that they disassembled to load onto the truck. They would have charged me an additional $160 for another hour of work just to reassemble my furniture. I was disappointed with this company. I expected more from the highest rated company. read more

I was in urgent need of movers to get me out of my 3rd floor (walk up) 2 bedroom apartment and moved in across town. I was very happy with the service I received from Jay hilo. From the the time they arrived there was a good sense of urgency but not rushing to finish. And I believe it was gary, packed our truck with out hesitation and manage to fit a 40' trucks worth of stuff into a 26' truck with room to spare with out compromising our stuff. I needed a crew to help me unload a truck coming in with a bunch of furniture and only had about 2 hours of notice. I called them and told them where I was and what I needed that their response was "no problem". They came at the agreed upon time wearing masks and started to help unloading the truck. These guys are professionals! They know how to move large pieces of furniture into the old smaller homes in the neighborhood that I live in. They completed the task in about an hour and I had paid for two so I had them rearrange some furniture from one floor to another and they did it with enthusiasm. These guys were a lifesaver and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs moving help, especially help in a pinch. I will be calling them again if I ever have the need. read more

Not for anything, but this was the worst moving experience. Your guys clearly had zero experience and my dad and I ended up moving 80% of my belongings. The were moving extremely slow and making personal phone calls and texting on my time. What a waste of time and money. Would never recommend. read more

Same-day service to load my moving truck. The next day I wasn't sure when I'd be ready to unload my things but they were able to get the same crew to my new place on very short notice (the clock was ticking to get the truck back!). Friendly and helpful. Only downside was having to use PayPal for payment. read more
