Nonetheless, this shifted everything about 40 minutes behind schedule and they still were able to complete the job. The guys were apologetic and I got my furniture. Would i come back for service? They were hired for 3 hours to load and unload my moving truck. First of all, they were 2 and a half hours late getting to my apartment with no call stating they would be late. When they arrived, the truck was almost all the way loaded thanks to my 2 sons so there wasn't much left for them to load. They were very slow workers. It took them the full 3 hours to finish loading and unloading the truck at my new apartment. This left no time for them to reassemble my furniture that they disassembled to load onto the truck. They would have charged me an additional $160 for another hour of work just to reassemble my furniture. I was disappointed with this company. I expected more from the highest rated company.

Day of the move the team was late and I didn't receive communication. It also took 10 hours to move a 3 bedroom 2200 sq house to a 1600 sq foot townhome and we had to leave a number of items in the original home that I had to go back to retrieve on my own. I asked for patio furniture and a grill to be added day of (1 table, 6 stackable chairs, 2 wicker chairs with ottoman's) and am unsure if this contributed to the increased time of the move (the estimate I was given was for 7 hours). I was told dismantling the beds could be easily handled by the team, I mentioned I could handle them but didn't get to it in time so they dismantled them but then the screws were lost to one bed and they refused to put the other two children's beds together (citing liability which I was not informed of). I was left with multiple broken items (the leg and attachment of my dresser completely broke off, both my children's dresser legs were broken, there was a hefty chip on a buffet table, a plastic storage bin was broken, and my suede ottoman was covered in water after being placed near patio furniture. Freshly painted walls are now scuffed and several doorframes have dents/dings following completion of the move. It has been several weeks- I contacted the owner with photos of my broken items and was immediately told he would be happy to fix/replace things and asked for item numbers which I provided. Since then- nothing has been done and I assume nothing by will be done.

The delivery driver had 7 pages of exceptions, items which he inspected prior to loading on his truck that were damaged. He said 2 pages was normal. Boxes were crushed and punctured. Furniture was broken and scratched. When we got the claim response they offered $172 after our $500 deductible and claimed that since we did the packing it was our fault. I worked at a moving company as a summer job so it's not like I haven't seen things done the right way. It doesn't matter how you pack a box if it is crushed and punctured....oh and it had glass written on two sides of the box. Stay away.
