I'd give the food a 4.5 star for Park Distillery food, and 5.5 stars for customer service. So I suppose that balances out to a 5 star review. Matt, the bar manager took amazing care of us. Great food, great customer service, and awesome atmosphere. Can't ask for more! read more

I loved everything about Park. The campfire theme is fun and delicious, our service was excellent, and the setting has a modern-outdoorsy-cabin vibe. I started off with a FiFi's mule with house-made vodka (it was good!) and my partner was pleased with the beer selection. I then had the wood fired broccoli dish, which I highly recommend. That was among the most tasty broccoli I've ever eaten. Yum. We then shared a (gigantic) homemade ice cream sandwich for dessert, made with banana ice cream and chocolate cookies. If I lived closer, I would be back again soon! read more

Park Distillery - The ice cream sandwich--spoon included for scale. - Canadian (New) Near Me - Banff, Alberta

Beer warm, served in a can not opened. Waiter disinterested. Fish tacos mediocre. Hikers salad tasteless and full of orange seeds. 100 meal best spent elsewhere. Below par . read more

Had the brisket and enjoyed it. Corn bread was bit meh. Cocktails were a bit hit or miss as well. Lamb chops were great as well as the pulled pork fingers. Great view from the second floor balcony. read more

Great food, atmosphere and service. Our waitress was very nice and recommended some delicious entrees. I recommend the Moscow Mule. They make their own vodka and ginger beer, definitely a must try! Also get the Steak Sandwich -- ah-mazing! read more

Thank Park for a fabulous meal! My partner & I shared the Mess Hall Standard - fantastic meal which we both loved. Highlights were the corn bread, sausages & beans! It has been a while since we enjoyed such great good in North America! The decor is great & I very much enjoyed the Sawback Cocktail - highly recommend (don't be scared by the chilli vodka!) Tip - sitting upstairs on the balcony edge is a little tight & uncomfy, particularly when sharing the Mess Hall. I suggest maybe asking for a different table. read more

Very cool place. Great vibe. Busy and buzzing. We stopped in for lunch because Block Kitchen was full. It too was so busy we had to sit/order at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and beer selection is very Canadian. Food was average, price was high. Meh. read more

Park is well worth the money. Great atmosphere, amazing service, delicious cocktails and food. The Chili Vodka was amazing. 100% recommend to others read more

Went on a busy night without a reservation and they managed to fit us in fairly quickly. Food was delicious, service was excellent, ambiance was great. The distillery specialty cocktails we had were delightful. Only thing we did not care for was the smoked Brie starter. It came very hot and we expected the cheese to be creamy and melted, it was not. It had a strange texture and something was watery. My chicken sandwich was good and my husband said his steak was one of the best he has ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. read more

Skip this place. Drink service was so slow we almost left. The food was marginal and overpriced. I had the rigatoni with chili vodka cream sauce and goat cheese which was just ok. Fish and chips were ok too. Nothing memorable. read more

Great food, good service and a good vibe. We'll be back! The raclette was yummy and the ribs devine.

Decor was very nice. Service excellent. Food amazing. I loved this place. Only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because was food could have been a little hotter. But really this is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at at this year. I'm from Toronto and I literally can not find any restaurant that I love. read more

I was in banff over the holiday and had dinner at park. I thought the concept was cool and reminded me of places from Austin, which I love. I'm giving 3 stars because the food was great, the squash side dish was phenomenal and honestly the best I've had. The warm potato salad was also great along with the roasted chicken. I had a soup to start and I'm not sure what was in it other than possible kale but it was delicious and had a beef ramen noodle flavor. Where I wasn't impressed and more so disappointed was upon entering the restaurant. The hostess were kind of bland and seemed annoyed more people were coming in. This killed my excitement because I love trying new places and this seemed like a cool place! They quoted 45 mins, no problem. When we were messaged for a table we told them who we were and they said ok go upstairs. So then I'm thinking??..ok and then what? I ask the hostess "do we just sit at the open table". I thought maybe it would be the typical scenario where they walk you to the table? The hostess says someone will meet you up there. We didn't see anyone and just walked to the first open table we saw. Then a few minutes later our server came over. She was really nice and gave great service. I wish my first impression would have been positive. We were on vacation and after a long day of snowboarding wanted cocktails to relax but instead our mood was quickly changed and just wanted to get in and out. read more

Amazing!!!! Go to the distillery tour, meet Nicole and drink some of the best cocktails you'll ever have! Staff, service and drinks are top notch. Gavin at the whiskey bar was informative and engaging. Thanks Park! Banff favorite for sure!!! read more

Four stars for ambiance and service - the place is warm, cozy and perfectly decorated for the location. Our server was nice and checked in with us often. One star for the food- the food came out quickly although salads came out at the same time as mains. Where they fall very, very short is with quality and taste. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and we were excited to be there. First up was the corn bread which consisted of cold hard mini muffins. The wedge salad was a half head of iceberg with some cheese and herbs sprinkled on top and an over vinegary dressing. The okanagan salad was fine but the $10 upcharge for prawns was a joke- 2 or 3 medium prawns sliced into thin thirds. The prime rib was full of gristle and the marinara on the spaghetti was way too sweet even for a kid. And beware the soda refills- it'll set you back the cost of another soda although the waitress fails to inform you of that so you pay $9 for a Coke + refill. This place was a major disappointment and by far the worst and most expensive meal we had in Banff. read more

Stay away! This place looked great and sounded good, unfortunately as soon as we sat down a rude 20s somethings waiter waltzed over and started pushing drinks. After politely turning down his offer he continued to pressure me, and making the situation awkward considering I don't drink. He couldn't seem to understand that. I later asked what kinda pasta he recommended and he told me flatout "bro spaghetti factory's around the corner". The menu is over priced and has nothing original. Later when I asked what our server would recommend he glanced away like he didn't care for me and moved onto another table. Go spend money elsewhere. This is a douche Mecca full of "bros" throwing high fives as they walk out the bathroom after blasting rails up their nose; that was at 9 pm. My girlfriend and I shut our menus and left wearing fake smiles. Found another place down the street afterwards and had a fantastic time there. Banff is full of good times and neat places. This hipster bar was nothing near original and highly disappointing. Save the time and skip it. read more

Great gin. Terrible food. And, you can't wait at the bar for a table. At least the bartender took the food back without question- he must be used to it. Drink at home. read more

Great service! Nice waiter. Food excellent mostly. Had the flatbread with arugula, fish and chips, burger and hotdog. Beers were excellent as was the cider. Would definitely go again! read more

My boyfriend and I were in Banff over the weekend and stumbled upon this amazing spot. We went in for happy hour (great cocktails) and cheap oysters, then proceeded to stay the next 3 hours; not only were the staff and cocktails superb but the food was the best we'd had in Banff and Canmore. We ate our next two meals there, special thanks to our passionate servers. Cant wait to come back! read more

Overwhelming because everything on the menu sounded so good. Awesome looking place with cool vibes and delicious food. The dirty fries are amazing. read more

I went here last night and had a terrific time. Me and my girlfriend sat at the bar and enjoyed great food, cocktails, service and atmosphere. This is Canadian dining done perfectly - unpretentious, affordable and delicious. The couple of hours we spent here watching hockey, getting boozed and chatting with the bartenders will be a highlight of our Banff trip! read more

Great vibe, but the food is meh.... you should go here for a few drinks and appetisers. We just had lunch and it was a huge bust. I had fish and chips. The fish was breaded perfectly and the chips were good. The pickle relish was awful. My wife had Caesar salad which was TERRIBLE a few leaves of lettuce and a TON of salad dressing!!! It looked like soup. My son had breakfast tacos which looked really good. read more

Review based on food and drink, not service (which was what to expect, normal). The waiter was a nice professional guy Drink: Well over priced for quantity. 7$ for 30ml/1 ounce, that when serviced looked more like half that. The pure vodka was good, smooth, creamy and easy drink. Espresso vodka was horrid, tasted like instant coffee sludge and turps. Food: 16$ Chicken wings advertised as spit roasted. You get 4 in total, greasy, deep fried and has never seen hot coals or a fire in its life. Flavour deep fried covered over with self served hot sauce. I've eaten better and larger quantities of wings for half the price at a pub. 36$ Baby back ribs, full rack, advertised as spit roasted. You get a rack of ribs that has been cut in half long way, so approx 2inch/4cm wide, covered in a stale and gritty sauce. Again, no evidence of open fire grilling. To touch they were unfortunately cold and very firm. Theory, likely water bathed, cold stored, covered in a sauce and re-heated. We ended up not eating the ribs and calling it a night, paying only for wings and drinks. Gave objective feed back and moved on to Eddie's Burger Joint, not bad place. All in all, the place is a polished turd. Don't let the "camp fire experience", dim lights, fancy menu write up, and talked up food allure you into a false sense of "getting your money and quality worth". Maybe the other food was better? Though, if this was a reflection of management trying to cut cost and service time to increase revenue and customer through put, then probs not. Balls to management. read more

We had a wonderful meal here, and came back a second night. The best dish we tried was the salmon. I enjoyed the on tap Syrah, and my friend his mockito. We sat out on the second floor deck and looked out over the mountains. read more

What a great experience! We booked a tour and tasting for my friends bachelorette (11 ladies) and it was really amazing. Nicole gave the tour and was super impressive and you could tell she has poured her heart and soul into the business. It was a really cool/different thing to do and I could see how this will be a total hit in Banff. We had such a good time at the tasting we ended up staying for a drink and some appies. Worth checking out for sure! read more

Came for a dinner with 3 generations and a table for 8. The atmosphere is lively throughout, we ate upstairs in the quieter restaurant area, not the bar downstairs (which has great garage doors opening to the street). There were several local and Park spirits available. The menu was meat-focused, and all food ordered was well received - salads, burgers, ribs, (fries), and the broccoli special. The burger was particularly good. I believe this this a relatively new establishment in Banff and they are doing it right. I thought the service was good, handled our 8 well. I especially liked that they offered water in bottles on the table. This was an excellent spot for dinner, and would be the same for lunch. Tables by the windows are considerably better in my view, because it's darker in the back. read more

This place, both food and ambiance, are awesome. Really reasonable prices for a resort town AND amazing food. They switch up the wood that they use in their smokers every night, which is pretty unique. We all had some variation of chicken or burgers, and loved our meals. Great place to stop after a few days of hiking before heading back to Calgary. An obvious choice if in the area! read more

Nice venue, but none of our dishes were great. At those prices they should be great. The garlic lemon lamb was tough and had way too much lemon, and the garlic was barely cooked. The Caesar croutons were spongey and the dressing was bland. The fish and chips came with a sort of bland mayo rather than a tartar sauce, and the batter was chewy rather than crisp. read more

Amazing place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. My toddler loved their rotisserie chicken and fries.

I can't believe I'm only writing this review now, but better late then never! My fiancé and I had dinner here in October 2017 just a few hours after getting engaged and it was the best choice we could have made. The food was amazing and the staff was even better. We ordered champagne to celebrate our engagement and our waiter asked what the occasion was. When we were given the bill, they told us that they had comped the champagne as a congratulations to our special occasion. We will be coming back to Banff soon and will not miss the opportunity to go back to Park. We definitely recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, drinks and service! read more

Ribs were delicious! Nice atmosphere (if you're a party of 2, ask for the table in the front on the second floor with the 2 highback easy chairs - very comfortable and relaxing). Tried the flight of their distilled spirits too - they were good but not awesome. Should have stuck with beer. read more

Reached the restaurant at 7:15pm and they told us 2.5 to 3hr wait and they didn't let us wait inside the restaurant. It was -7 degrees Fahrenheit and we decided to go onto the next restaurant. At 7:40pm we received a text saying our table is ready. Rude manager and no time punctuality. read more

Fantastic experience ruined in the end. We were only going to run in and buy some of their fabulous spirits and continue on to the restaurant where we had reservations. We when walked in we decided to see if they had any openings and we were in luck. Our waitress Casper was amazing throughout the meal. Both of us ordered the prime rib which was fantastic. So here is where it went bad. We finished our meal and went to the retail store. The girl who was working in there gruffly said hello (as if we were a nuisance to her). When I tried to ask her questions on the different types of vodka and she answered as if we interrupting something very important. Guess sitting on her butt on a stool and not making eye contact is top notch customer service. I made my choices with no real help from her. She than rang my purchases in (received 10% off for eating in the restaurant... nice bonus) and asked me if wanted a bag for my bottles. Pretty sure they don't want people walking the sidewalk in Banff with bottles in their hand. I said yes that would be nice and she put both bottles in the bag together. I had to ask her to wrap one of the bottles in another bag so they wouldn't bang together and possibly break. She huffed and said sure and grabbed one of the bottles and wrapped it and handed it back for me to put in the bag. She said have a good night again not making any kind of eye contact. These are premium homemade spirits you are buying and some explanation is required at times. If you are not willing to help people out maybe you need to be working in another capacity. Maybe in the back of house away from the customers. The food and Casper were enough for us to return. Just next time I will know not to expect much out of the retail side. read more
