Love the interior and vibe of this place! Great place to grab a drink and hang out. They make their own gin and vodka and it makes their drinks so yummy! However their food was just okay. Nothing to go crazy for. DO NOT get their corn bread, it was so dry and flavorless. Three people could not finish one slice. However I did love our waiter. Wish I asked for his name! We were visiting for two days and he gave us a hand written list of must see places. Wonderful service from him. read more

Delicious! If you're in the mood for a campfire, but would like to be indoors with some good eats, this place is for you! Park Distillery just oozes that rustic vibe, complete with antler chandeliers and axes decorating the place. With two floors as well as a patio, it does have a fair amount of seating. A couple of friends and I came here to try their Taste in Adventure menu where they had 3 courses for only $30, which was definitely a steal of a deal. We were sat pretty close to the fire so we got that extra cozy feeling. While the place was lively for a Thursday night, it wasn't overly busy and our service was wonderful! Our server was incredibly friendly and explained the history of the distillery as well some of the spirits they make. In addition to our drinks, we got a taster of their 6 vodkas that they make in the distillery. Our server was pretty informative and explained how each flavour of vodka was prepared, which was super neat! My favourites were the vanilla and espresso vodkas. If you decide to get a cocktail, definitely get one with the vanilla vodka in it, it was incredibly smooth and delicious! (Also, your receipt is a 20% off coupon if you decide to buy any of the spirits in full size!) As for the food, we picked from their prepared menu which had three different options for each course. We all ended up picking different appetizers, the exact same main course and two different desserts. As far as the appetizers go, I went with the pok pok chicken wings and they were amazing!! Super crispy and juicy and Vietnamese sauce on it was also perfect, I could've definitely eaten another plate and the rest of the group agreed that it was also incredibly delicious. My two girlfriends also said that they really enjoyed their fire wood broccoli and potato skins. As for the main, we all had the flat iron steak. Super tender, however the sauce was pretty mild and while it was hard to taste it didn't matter too much because the steak itself was perfectly cooked and prepared. Overall, we were all very happy campers (pun intended). Afterwards, we had some time to sit and digest before our desserts and we picked the campfire s'mores (obviously) and mini donuts. The s'mores came in a mason jar and when you opened it up, smoke came out and it smelled exactly like a campfire which just takes you back to those summer nights. While good, it was definitely a rich dessert so we packed the rest up home. The mini donuts were not mini at all and they looked like timbits on steroids. We found that the donuts were a bit of a let down as they were thickly covered in a coating of sugar and I felt that they might've been over fried as the shell was a little too hard for my liking. Overall, we had a great time! While I would like to give this place 5 stars because their service, setting and food were wonderful, I found it to be pretty overpriced when I later looked at how much some dishes would be on their own. I do hope they they have more menu specials like this, because we would all definitely return. read more

Park is one of the best local distilleries I've been to, which is interesting considering how young the operation is. The distillery tour was interesting, and really highlighted what Park does best- create high-quality center-cut liquors using only the best local grains and glacial water, occasionally spicing things up with infused flavors, rather than chemical flavoring. I really recommend the Fi Fi Mule for a traditional taste. Aside from the distillery, the restaurant is delicious! I had the mouth-watering rotisserie chicken sandwich, which I will try to go back again for. My girlfriend had the chicken corn chowder, apparently a restaurant staple, and said it was very tasty. Do yourself a favor, and go to Park. read more

Great place for Canadian food & drinks. We opted for the mess hall, cheese fondue, cesar salad and pulled park fingers. Two thumbs up! read more

The menu is evocative of campfire fare. Ribs and trout entrees were good, but sides were blah. Cocktails were yummy. Service was a little annoying--server trying too hard, and then check was presented on the machine at the table with a tip choice to be made while server present--weird. Overall, not worth a repeat. read more

My girlfriend and I were at the park restaurant on November 20th sitting at the bar. Our bartender Simon was outstanding! He recommended amazing drinks that we both enjoyed. He was friendly, courteous and easy to talk to. I highly recommended sitting at the bar and having a beverage with Simon and his crew. The food is also awesome and delicious. Simon recommended the bison burger which was out of this world. Say hi to Simon and crew you won't be disappointed from Andy and Sam read more

Excellent atmosphere and great food and drinks. Accommodated our group of 12 easily and was fast and friendly service

I'm SOOOOOO glad we found this place early on in our week long vacation. Who knew that we'd be back three times! They have an amazing vegetarian/vegan menu as well as inovative and tasty cocktails. We came in here just looking for food initially... we stayed longer than expected for the beverages. The first night we shared the fondue. It was perfectly creamy and rich. All the dipping options were well balanaced: bread, apples, broccoli and pickles. While we were there we saw that they had a distillary tour. We left that night determined to be back for the tour. NOTE: don't think you can just walk in for the tour... book ahead (it's free) but get your name on the list. We went back for the tour and did the tasting. It was a great sampling of their spirits and in their purest form. The service was also impeciable. I can't remember his name but we had the best bartender all three nights that we were there. He was personable as well as helpful when it came time to pick our drinks. The signature drink where they smoke a plank of wood and infuse it into the drink was a novel treat! My favorite cocktail used their pepper vodka in it. I ended up purchasing a bottle of it to make cocktails at home. I know I'll definitely end up going back when we go back up for a ski trip! read more

This review is based on at service: We came and had Alasdair two nights in a row. He was able to make my cajun boyfriend a perfect sazerac and the house made liquors are superb. The chili vodka is HOT! Also: the Whiskey Maple Pork Fingers (see app menu) were the best food I've ever had. Literally. If I could give it ten stars I would. read more

Food was bland , service was poor, the best drink was a beer they didn't make We had the caesar salad, pork fingers, brisket sandwich and chicken sandwich along with 4 drinks $117 - no value for the money read more

Didn't eat the food but just tried the flight of spirits. Service was much better than the alcohol. Will go back for the services but not for the alcohol. Maybe the mix drink will be better? read more

Stopped in for lunch after spending the morning hiking. The Salmon Chowder was the perfect starter to warm you up. The Brisket sandwich was Delicious. Brisket was cut nice and thin and it was absolutely filling. The Bisson Bannock was amazing also. This was almost like a taco on a flatbread, delicious! We tried the flight of booze (6 different house made blends) and that was delicious as well. All booze is made in house and you can see some of the distillery in the car area. Overall the atmosphere was awesome, warm and cozy. There is a little liquor store in the front that if you go in after your meal you get 10% off any purchase. Highly recommend! read more

Our local friends recommended us to dine here & it was great! Good menu selection (food & drinks), service was great & fun atmosphere. I started with the dirty fries. Extremely good! And ordered the tin foiled trout for my main entry. Grilled to perfection! It was a pretty big size & came with a side (tomato basil soup). Friends ordered the prime rib & pulled chicken sandwich. The portions were large & all were delicious. If you have a big group I would recommend you to have a reservation~ read more

Drove into Banff after spending the day hiking & ended up at this new distillery. They have Their own little liquor booth store in the front which was really cute & they do tours of their distillery too! Love their camping theme throughout the menu =) cute. Soo many people were enjoying the mac&cheese - M&C is seriously my fav but $23 for it?? Decided to opt for the chicken & ribs combo, & the lamb. Added in an order of dirty fries & it was just Oh. My. God. Soooo much food!! Dirty fries were like a campfire version of poutine & come served in a little pot. The chicken & ribs combo was HUGE. I had to pack up most of it to go. Kind of fun with the painting of your own sauce. Lamb is a little smaller in portion size, but still pretty filling. Everything was served with chef's choice sides for the day. The $$ is a little misleading - it does add up quite quickly if you plan to drink, grab appies or dessert - which you should it's so good. But it's understandable, I think a lot of things just cost a little more in Banff because it's a tourist spot. Completely recommend! Food's great - great comfort food - service is great, drinks here are amazingg. read more

As a gin lover, this was an amazing restaurant to come to! My family enjoyed all types of drinks, but the gin and vodka from the distillery were fantastic. My sister and I split the pasta dish, and the rest of the table has salmon and chicken. All delicious and served perfectly. I would have eaten here every night! read more

There aren't too many places we have been to that are quite like Park Distillery! We come back every year and are never disappointed. The cocktails are pretty interesting and the food gets us every time. A couple of our favorite items include the observation peak (drink), roasted chicken entree, campfire trout, fried cauliflower and carrots with curry yogurt (no longer on menu - boohoo!). The service is also top notch and make up for when the waits crazy long on some evenings. If you want a feel good meal after a day of adventure, do yourself a favor, make a reservation and order all of the above! read more

The food was good but everything is pricey. Not much personality for a bar and quite expensive. We're here for a week and I won't be back.

My favorite place for lunch or dinner in Banff. Excellent drinks from their own liquor and so many great food options. I've been with a group of four and a group of 16 and both times our service and food were great. Last time I went, I had the best prime rib of my life. It was cooked perfectly, had a smoky flavor from the rotisserie, and the edges were like brisket burnt ends and so delicious. read more

Excellent service Excellent ambiance Phenomenal food! I have to give a well earned 5 star rating to Park. From my 3 days here in Banff and eating at 5 restaurants, this has to be my number 1. Lets star off with my husband's prime rib. It was cooked to perfection- medium rare with a side of fresh vegetables and really really tasty mash potatoes. Although this was great, I picked a prize...one of the tastiest rotisserie chicken breast I've had in quite some time with a side of veggies and mash also. I was such a pleased costumer. Best meal in Banff, for sure. read more

At first I thought what an odd name. Park? But then It came to me, oh I'm in Banff National Park. Got it. Actually that's a pretty cool name. I can't speak for the food, but the bars are pretty nice. While the interior space is quite large the bars are not so large. Don't get me wrong, they're not tiny, but they're not super large either. There's a bar downstairs and another one upstairs. The upstairs one has an outdoor deck which overlooks all of Banff Avenue. It's very cool. The interior decor is hip and swank. The dimly lit mood lighting gives everything a touch of class. This place reminds me of something you might find in Manhattan, just with a slight mountain vibe to it. Looking for a date night in Banff? Then Park is your place. There's certainly plenty of tables for dining, so maybe next time in Banff I'll have to get my grub on at the Park. read more

We came here with high hopes, as we are very into local distilleries and gastropub food. Being from a city that has ample distilleries (Portland, Or), we were expecting to have the same level of everything as most distilleries we frequent. Boy were we wrong. How this place is so busy is beyond me. Here are a few reasons why: 1. Our dinner took close to an hour and two of us ordered soup, another of us ordered 3 cod tacos on the app menu. 2. The food was not good - at all. I'm Southern, if you're going to do cornbread, i recommend using a recipe that gives the bread flavor. 3. My boyfriend got a flight of liquors they make, when he asked the server which was the best booze, he said the Rye Whiskey - when it's ready, but umm it's not aged yet, so useless info. The flight was terrible! The Rye they did serve had no flavor and was clear!! 4. We had to ask for water and the waiter didn't check on us once, apologized for nothing and avoided bringing us our check or saying goodbye - he made the hostess do it. Worst Banff experience EVER - every other place we went was fabulous fortunately but this place was just plain bitter - like every one of their spirits. read more

This is an amazing place to eat. Amazing food, the best burger I have ever had in my life. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend if anyone is walking around Banff read more

One of the best meals I have had all of 2018. Kasper was an amazing server, her recommendations were spot on! The spirit flight was divine, the Nitro Shaft on tap was out of this world. Food choices: fondue was yummy, rotisserie chicken was the best you will ever have, & the prime rib was tender & full of flavor. Not sure if it was the Michelin star service from Kasper or the food that made our meal so great, however, we will be back for more. read more

Atmosphere is really cool and the food was pretty good. I got the large 8oz burger and my boyfriend got the one with 2 4oz patties. Not many options on the menu but we enjoyed it! read more

Lobster roll is good but definitely can't beat Boston lobster roll. You don't get chunky lobster meat, all you get is some mashed lobster meat and the portion is way too little for the price that can be finished in 3 bites and it doesn't come with sides. mesquite beef hoagie is okay no big deal, fries is good but they didn't put grease paper that makes fries at bottom soggy. The only thing I find impressive the distillery column read more

Updated Review: They have changed the menu by quite a bit. Still an overall good eat but it lost a lot of its best things. Don't even bother with the corn bread any more, went from the best thing on the menu to now being bland and boring. Booze is still great and staff is great but the food has for sure lost a lot. ------------------------------------ Original review: Both the food and the local booze were incredible! The corn bread is an absolute must! read more

OH my goodness that was a perfect meal. I had the twenty five dollar burger and my partner had the rotisserie chicken recommended by our waiter Michael. The best burger I have ever had. Rare. Juicy. Park Distillery - The 25 dollar burger. Prime rib, smoked bacon and a giant rib on top - Canadian (New) Near Me - Banff, Alberta

Sadly this was the worst meal we have had in Canada. The chicken wings were over battered and too spicy to even enjoy. Everything was too salty. Probably a great place for drinks, but definitely not for food. read more

Had a nice lunch here. Drinks were solid, and I really enjoyed the burger and the fries were good. My wife's salad was average.

We went on Saturday of Labor Day weekend and put our name in for a table and then were going to the bar to have a drink while the table was getting ready. However the host was insistent that we could not sit at the bar without a reservation while people were getting up and trying to give us their seats. The people sitting at the bar didn't make a reservation to sit down and a bartender even told us to sit. The host came over and basically kicked us out. Incredibly rude service so we chose not to stay. I will say that the manager gave me a call when I declined the table being ready and I thought that was very classy. I appreciated the apology and she offered to give us a round of free drinks but at that point we found another restaurant. read more

Good food and service. No complaints. It is very popular though, so it requires advance booking or long wait, unless sitting at the bar is of interest. read more

We stopped by for lunch one afternoon. We mainly wanted to experience the distillery, however it was fully booked for that day. We got a rotisserie chicken sandwich which was essentially pulled chicken with bacon and bbq sauce. It was good, but not necessarily memorable. It was a quick snack that we shared between two of us. It was decent bar food. As the weather was nice, the balcony doors of the restaurant was open and there was outside seating too. Overall, it has a fun, modern pub vibe to the place. There is a tiny space right by the entrance that sells souvenirs and bottle of the gin or rye whiskey that they distill. read more

The environment is very nice with friendly service. But I think the price rang on yelp is misleading which I think should be "$$$" instead. Food tastes very good but not impressive. Considering the location, it might not be a bad place to hang out with friends during the trip. Be preparing to pay about $60 if you have a drink with you meal. read more

Go here. Great atmosphere and the drinks are excellent. We ordered the Rotisserie Chicken and the Surf and Turf sandwich and both are amazing. Mike was our server. He did a good job of helping us sort through their many cocktail options, made with their own spirits. Pasta, burgers and rotisserie chicken sandwich were all very good here.
