Cabin feel, live music, great drinks, amazing staff, what else could you ask for? Highly recommend. Cornbread was very mass forward, not too sweet.
Made a visit to PARK on a cold Labor Day for lunch, and very glad we did. We were seated upstairs and our server JM was incredibly friendly. Really loved the rustic modern design inside the restaurant. Drinks and food were excellent, portions were quite large and I wish we had actually eaten here for dinner instead to enjoy even more food! The restaurant just had a really great vibe, right in the heart of downtown Banff and definitely worth trying out.
Unfortunately, our experience here was extremely disappointing. We had walked by a few times and really liked the atmosphere, so we were excited to make a reservation. We were seated upstairs on the balcony, which was a nice spot and had a great vibe. The service started off fine, but things quickly went downhill. It took over 20 minutes to receive our drinks after ordering. While bringing them out, our server accidentally spilled an iced tea all over the table and onto my white pants. Mistakes happen, but we were surprised that there was no apology, and the response felt very dismissive. Shortly after, while we were cleaning up, she came back and sprayed cleaner on the table but accidentally sprayed it onto me instead. Again, there was no acknowledgment or apology. A few minutes later, she brought out a replacement drink, but it was the wrong one. When we pointed it out, there was some confusion and we were initially told it was correct before another staff member came over and brought the right drink. Unfortunately, the food was also a letdown. The bison burgers were extremely dry, and the ribs were so tough and chewy that they were difficult to eat. We were really hoping the meal would make up for the service issues, but it left us disappointed. Given the issues, we expected the spilled drink would at least be removed from the bill. Instead, we noticed additional drink refills on our tab that we didn't order. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, especially because we had been looking forward to trying this place. Hopefully this was just an off night, but based on our visit, we wouldn't recommend it.
Really good food in downtown Banff! Passionfruit virgin mojito sounds great but you can't taste the passion fruit. The spinach & four cheese dip with pita was excellent though, although I wish chips were served instead of soft pita. Cornbread with that maple butter was TO DIE FOR. Highly recommend that. Bison burger was juicy, massive, and the fries were nice and crispy. What's not to like?
Great food and super drink selection. Atmosphere was active and interesting. We were seated quickly and server was very interactive and interesting, although at times he seemed to go missing, either with other tables or in the back. We had to check out with someone else because we didn't know where he was. Great place and highly recommend.
Came in on Sunday for dinner and the prime rib was on sale for $39.99. The place is definitely loud but not terribly loud that you can't have conversations. Food didn't come out the same time. Drinks came out a little later than the food. The smores espresso martini wasn't too sweet or strong. It was just right. The service is great here. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. If you get the truffle fries, I would highly recommend getting the truffle mayo dip with it too.
We sat at the railing on the restaurant, which was great for looking out at the mountains or people watching. We had the cornbread, crispy chicken with honey sauce and a summer salad with salmon. All three were delicious. The salad was tomatoes, cucumber, salmon, BC peaches in a tasty vinaigrette. The peaches weren't soft, so I would venture to say they may not have been ripe. It ended up being a bit pricy ($38 CAD). The crispy chicken was fried perfectly with a sauce that wasn't spicy and was a little sweet. The cornbread was some of the best I've had and came with a homemade whipped butter. Daisy, our server, was imperative to helping with our decisions and she seemed excited about everything in the menu. The food came out in an appropriate time. I have zero complaints about the food, but it is on the pricier side for one main entree and two appetizers. They should fix some things in the women's bathroom. The tissue paper box is positioned in a way where it makes it almost impossible to enter a stall without hitting your back on the box. There are only hook and eye latches and it is impossible to tell is someone is in a stall. Ergo, someone pushed my door open even though it was latched. All in all, I would come back and try some other things on the menu.
I went here twice with friends during our Banff trip because we just loved their drinks and vibe so much! They have a great cocktail menu, and you're bound to find at least one that you just want to keep ordering. They're open probably the latest out of most bars, so my friends and I stayed out really night trying out a bunch of drinks from their menu. Their service is great--I highly recommend!
Food was great all around, I loved the rotisserie chicken burger, definitely recommend! Server was very nice and also hilarious! Cool multi floor restaurant with multiple bars and lots of different seating options (booth, table, bar, and even picnic tables inside?!) This place is pretty highly rated and id say it's well deserved!
drinks were sooooo yummy service can b a bit slow but overall great place to drink and see views in banff especially the upper area outside pretty quiet but has tv and sports games on so ur never bored! inside has alot of things to see like the distillery and nice interior
Great service, tasty flavorful good with a good portion, a nice selection for kids option. Dining area can be loud when it gets busy. Prices are reasonable. First time here in Calgary and it is just right across from our hotel so we can walk home if we had a few drinks without needing to catch a ride back to our hotel with kids. They have a free distillery tour as well.

We came here for our wedding reception and everything was amazing! Not one thing on the menu was bad. In fact, most people came back one or two more times during their stay. Their gin is smooth and definitely recommended. I would also come back for the salmon chowder and s'mores dessert again! read more

For an excellent campfire inspired meal while in Banff, this is a must visit! The pulled rotisserie chicken sandwich was delicious as was the Asian salad that it came with. The pecan pie dessert was also very tasty. I wouldn't miss this place on a trip to the area! read more
We LOVED this place. We had a large group in Banff for St. Patrick's Day weekend and a group of us headed over here on the Saturday night for some drinks and food. We were excited to try the Cornflake Pulled Pork Fingers after reading all the rave reviews here... they were good but truth be told our least favourite item on the table. The Fire Roasted Brussel Sprouts were amazing (I'm a huge Brussel Sprouts fan however). The Shrimp On The Barbie were impressive in both presentation and taste... my sister gave it the "best shrimp ever" rave. Calamari was perfect, the Cornbread is not to be missed, and the Caesar Salad was incredible. Great craft beer menu, I opted to try their spirits... had a vodka/ soda and one of their specialties, the Observation Peak which was amazing. The smoky taste the cedar square gives the drink is so good. A must when in Banff, this will be a regular for us in the future! read more

The Vegan burger was by far the best burger I've ever had. The sourdough bun made a HUGE difference. I would definitely recommend getting the hiker greens salad as a side with it! read more
Our friends from Calgary decided to try out this fairly new restaurant together while we were vacationing in Banff. It was an excellent choice indeed! In April 2017 the restaurant had this promotion - 50oz ribeye for $100 which came with polenta (cheese and potatoes) and carrot fries. Everything tasted absolutely fabulous! This was a filling option shared among four people. The ribeye was really well made. One of our friends tried their vodka and gin sampler, which included 6 interesting flavours such as expresso and chili. I tried one of the vanilla vodka and that was not bad. The decor of the restaurant was really cool, and the service was great too. read more

This place is an actual distillery! They make their own vodka, gin, and rye! I actually tried one of their cocktails, the Sawbuck which had their chili vodka in it. It was quite interesting. The spiciness of the chili vodka really had a kick that disguised the alcohol taste. Not only that, but the chili went really well with the pineapple juice. Definitely a must try! I'm not much of an alcohol person but if it means anything, I'd so go here if you want some alcohol! I really liked the inside of this place. The restaurant is has 3 levels but is actually only about 2 stories tall. There's seating on each level but the top and bottom level has outside seating. When we arrived there for lunch, there was only available seating on the outside top level. So unfortunately we were out in the sun. We didn't realize it at first but it got really hot after about 5 minutes. On the bright side, we got a nice view of the town of Banff. In terms of restaurant vibe, probably my favorite restaurant in Banff. I ordered the St. Louis Ribs. I'm not that knowledgable about how ribs should taste but I thought it was pretty good. Not the best I've had but pretty good. It had this smokey taste to it which I really enjoyed. The fries also had a smokey taste, crispy on the outside but soft in the inside. My friend ordered the Rotisserie chicken, which he quite enjoyed. I'm not really a fan of chicken, but it was flavored really well. The skin was super crispy! I wish the meal was just entirely chicken skin. :P The gravy it came with was delicious. The service here wasn't exceptional or anything but would stood out to me was how friendly the servers are. With the great vibes, layout, and friendly staff, I definitely recommend this place. This is definitely one of stops everytime I visit Banff. read more
Yes Yes Yes 5 stars why? Because you should go here. Forget the tourist trap a few doors down. First, they have an extensive drink menu, using their own liquor distilled on-site- the ONLY one in Banff National Park. Also, the only rotisserie in the park. We had a smoked bourbon drink which come with a piece of wood on top, the server then removes the wood and the smoke comes pouring out! If you like whiskey- bourbon drinks. Here is your maker! Next was a pineapple chili vodka - sweet then spice in the back of your throat. This was so good, we bought a bottle and continued to make this drink in our condo! Food- ok- we had whiskey infused fondue! Potato, bread, apples and veggies to dip - fab gherkins too. Next up was smoked fall off the bone ribs, charred broccoli with corn nuts- so innovative! And a beet salad with a mix of pickled and roasted red beets, dollops of creamy chèvre cheese. Everything was great- the atmosphere was bar-cabin- your friends house chill and service was a thumbs up read more
Wow another winner in Banff. First off cool little joint, with good service. Even if he was a smartass! Tried the liquor flight and they were all great. The calamari was great! And the spinach & sprout pasta was awesome, even if it seemed like it might be strange. The only thing I can say is bring a big wallet.... read more
Park is a new installment on Banff's main street and features a distillery that specializes in spirits. Environment - Situated on the middle of the busiest street in town, the restaurant usually gets packed during peak hours. Fortunately, it has multiple floors to accommodate a good amount of guests. However, what truly caught my eye was the decor and ambience. The restaurant provided a rustic and outdoor feel that let you know you are no longer in an urban centre but rather out in the wilderness. It was a true representation of what Banff really should be. Food - Mediocre. We had the Bubba's Mac and Cheese and the Mesquite Beef Hoagie. The fried chicken was a bit too hard and the mac and cheese was way too salty. The beef hoagie was decent but nothing spectacular. I ordered their special homemade gin and I'm not an alcohol connoisseur, but I felt like there was nothing really special to write about. Value - Overpriced. $23 for fried chicken mac and cheese is definitely on the higher end but it sure didn't reflect the price. $18 for a beef sandwich is standard, but the portions were so small that it felt more like a snack sandwich from the value menu than an actual gourmet meal. We had much much higher quality food for the same price in Banff. Overall - Go for the decor and ambience and perhaps the novelty of touring a distillery, but don't spend your hard earned money on the food. read more
Before arriving to Banff I heard great reviews from friends and online, all of which did it disappoint. I was able snag a seat at the bar which allowed me to get a custom cocktail from the bartender. He introduced me to a gin drink with freshly cracked pepper that I'm certainly going to use at home. He also made a lot of smoked oak cocktails if you're into brown liquors (I am not). For dinner I ordered locally raised Alberta bone-in pork chop which was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had!! Everything on the plate was paired beautifully together. The grilled chop with a sweet sauce on top with whole baby potatoes that had been tossed in some creamy sauce. Lastly a side of arugula salad was just a nice touch of greens on the plate. I'll likely dream about this meal for months. The restaurant is large with 2 floors, lots of tables and a massive 30ft tall painting of a gentleman interacting with a black bear. Amazing! Almost forgot to mention Park is a distillery offering their own gin, vodka, whiskey and probably others. They sell bottles in a store by the entrance but I didn't visit to check prices. Fantastic spot I high recommend and is worth any wait. read more

We were a party of 4 and came in about 830pm and got seated right away. They took us to the third floor and I couldn't help but admire the layout and decor of this place. Our server gave us a run down of the drink specials for the day and my best friend ended up getting a gin & tonic and her mom got the spicy margarita. The gin & tonic was really strong so she didn't finish and the spicy marg wasn't too too bad either. After looking through the menu, we decided to order the cornbread, game burger, the seared bc salmon, bison striploin, and pork rib chop. Unfortunately, the pork rib chop was sold out so I ended up ordering the prime ribs. The cornbread was good- it had bits of corn in it which I really enjoyed. The prime ribs for me was delicious, it was cooked well and wasn't too chewy either. My best friend enjoyed the game burger- she said it was cooked well and tasted amazing. The fries that came with it reminded me of something and I came to realize that it tasted like BBQ chips LOL. I tasted BBQ flavor- so I kept eating the fries because the flavor was really good and I couldn't stop myself from eating them. The seared bc salmon, omg.. I honestly wished I had originally stuck with my gut and ordered this bc this was freaking delicious. The salmon was cooked SOOOOO well. If I went back I would definitely order this next time. I'd definitely recommend the salmon. The bison stiploin wasn't too bad! The portion sizes were pretty big, we shared with each other to be able to finish it all. I would definitely come back ! read more

This is a really cool spot to hang out in Banff. It's got a solid Canadian lodge feel with a strong touch of craft cocktail hipster. Park Distillery is a great pick if you're looking for and apres ski dinner spot, or just and apres ski bar to sit at and drink craft beer and cocktails. At Park Distillery there's two bars - take your pick. I went with this epic whisky cocktail topped with a piece of smoked cedar. If you like big, deep cocktails, I suggest you do the same. The cedar plank infuses a healthy dose of wood smoke into the mix, making it all the richer. Much in the same way that grilling a salmon on a cedar plank does. The food is a mix of Canadian staples upscaled a bit. For my meal, I went with the half chicken in the "From The Firepit section. It was very clearly cooked using a wood fire and was filled with even more grand smoke flavour. Between the cocktail and the chicken I got to enjoy one tasty smoke pit. We went on Family Day long weekend, arguably one of the worst time to be in Banff because there are so many people. So with that in mind, while the room is spectacular, the food and service didn't match the prices quite enough for me. I'd like to go back to Park Distillery and hopefully get a better table, and attention to detail from our servers. The food was tasty yes, but too expensive to stand on its own without some added service value. read more

Went to try the locally distilled spirits and tried the flight. Disappointed it didn't include the maple rye, but they were very good. The gin was the most unique with a spruce flavor. Food was expensive and "campfire style" so it did taste like it was cooked over a fire read more

We enjoy this restaurant and always drop in when we are visiting Banff. We love the rustic feel and campfire theme plus the distillery (vodka & rye) is nice touch. As you read through their menu words like spit roasted, BBQ'd, wood fired, grilled and smoked allude to what lies ahead. Even with an upstairs, downstairs and small patio it's best to make reservations as they've been super busy every time we've come. For those with kids, they offer a kids menu. The last couple of times I've opted for a sandwich and soup of some sort. The last time my soup was a bit weak but it's not a deterrent since the time before it was super tasty. Recently one in our group ordered a caesar salad for lunch and it was beautifully plated and served. Love this kind of rustic plating. He said it was delicious. Service is decent. We usually have the kids with us and there's never been an issue or wait. A great stop the next time you are in or around Banff. read more
We only came here for drinks but it was pretty darn good. The flight was pretty cool, the only one I didn't like was their chili gin, which was pretty spicy, but that can work for some people. They have some really unique gins and ryes you won't see at many other places. Their cocktails are also really good. read more
Glad we found this place for dinner. We had the corn bread with the maple butter and it was divine! Cornbread was really moist and the sweet maple butter was the icing on the cake. We also had the Monday prime rib sandwich special. The steak was nice and smokey. The horseradish cream was the perfect sauce to put on the sandwich. The coleslaw had just the right amount of dressing and I could taste some fennel. Another person had fish and chips platter. They rave that the fish was really flavorful and the homemade tartar sauce was delicious. read more

I love this place and head here as often as possible! The elk antler chandeliers, axe wall, vodka distillery, campfire inspired food... I absolutely love the atmosphere and the drinks are great! Go on the distillery tour if you have the time. Extremely interesting! They offer you 10% in the gift shop so you can bring some of their signature vodka home with you! read more

This review should have been up in like January 2016... so just a little behind, but testament to the restaurant that I still remember how great the meal was. After a hard day of cross country skiing we stopped in to have a meal and refuel. Had seen the menu and was pretty excited to taste everything. They were super full (and I knew why after the meal) but had space for us at the bar. They do take reservation by the way so plan ahead! Started with a cocktail each and followed that with a beer. Great selection on all spirits and interesting choices of cocktails to choose from. Love that all their beers are Canadian! When it came to food choices I tried to pull the "we should each have a starter and a main and then we can taste everything plus I am sure we will have space for dessert", mainly because we couldn't decide as it all looks so good. Finally went with chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, that was on special. Came with potatoes + veg + cornbread (maple rum butter should be on everything). The boy had Millionaires hamburger helper, which was a good size portion and tasted ok but the start was absolutely the chicken. Saw other meat dishes coming from the kitchen and they all looked + smelt amazing. Do you know the do brunch? I do now! I will be back and will update you more then. If your in Banff and you are looking for quality food this is the way to go! read more
This place is amazing. We were visiting my husband parents in Edmonton and took a day trip to Banff National Park. I was completely impressed with everything about this place. We happened to catch the distillery tour given by the daughter of the owner, who just so happens to be a former professional women's golfer. She was engaging, bright and informative. We got to sample all their vodkas, and oh my dear goodness. Let me just say, the Coffee Vodka was perfection. My husband loved each offering. Their unique thing is that because of their unique location, they distill with glacier water!!! They're also the only distillery inside of a National Park. We decided to stay for lunch, each item was flavourful and tasty. We got the Millionaire Hamburger Helper, BBQ Brisket Poutine and Pulled Pork Corkflake Fingers. I wish they were here in Indy, I really, really do. We'll be back the next time we visit his parents!!! read more

This location distilled their own vodka, whisky, and gin. They serve specialty cocktails served with their liquors and serve "local" beers located within 150km of Banff. We ordered the chimichurri brisket sandwich which is served with jalapeños, cheese and chimichurri sauce--which was a great way to transform a boring sandwich into a flavor bang. It had a little heat, which was a nice compliment to the "Latin Pesto" sauce. It was brisket, so the meat was a bit fatty. The fries were awesome! They were cooked with a soft center and crunchy ends and they were perfectly salted. YUM!!! read more
