I love Park Chemists. Having a family-run pharmacy to rely on literally changes the quality of my life. They always fill my prescriptions promptly, and if there is ever an issue with a doctor or my insurance, they are always on it, helping me expedite the situation. Maoly, in particular, is lovely, smart, knowledgeable, and attentive. I can't rave about her enough. read more

What happened ??? This Pharmacy used to be awesome. When the owners worked in the store . You were always welcomed and treated with care and attention . I loved this Pharmacy . It was a real friendly neighborhood gem . Now the last couple of times, I've gone in for a prescription or other the experience was totally different . No more friendly neighborhood feel and the bare minimal communication . I felt like I was pulling teeth when I asked the pharmacist a question . I'm sad to say, I guess I'll be going somewhere else . read more

Never thought I'd be so excited about a pharmacy to leave a 5-star review, but here we are. I wish there were more stars to give for Park Chemists' customer service! I'd gone to another small-business pharmacy in Park Slope for years but could no longer take the long waits every month for my prescription refills, busy phone lines, and inability to automatically refill monthly prescriptions. It was a hassle every time I needed my medicine. I switched to Park Chemists and can't be happier. They proactively find me a coupon when a prescription co-payment is high. They have delivery service for your meds. When I had a new prescription refill and it was accidentally thrown out at home, Sophia worked her magic to get my insurance company to override it and refilled it in short notice so I had the medicine I needed as I was headed out of town. Gary tracked down my doctor to get prescriptions and contacted me to check if the prices were ok and to make sure they full everything I need. When I pick up, I never have the 15+ minute waits I dealt with at the other pharmacy. You can sign up for automatic refills, and they text you when your package is ready. Every single staff there has been friendly and accommodating. And, they have some pretty gifts here too. (my little daughter loves to smell the beautiful candles.) My only regret is that I didn't start going to Park Chemists sooner. read more

The store itself is super clean and organized. The staff are amazing and really knowledgeable. They make you feel extremely comfortable and help you out with any questions you have! Their pharmacy is amazing as well. They personally helped me with contacting doctors and insurance in order to make sure that I was receiving the best prescriptions available to me! This has easily become my go to store for all my pharmaceutical and daily needs! read more

Park Chemist always goes above and beyond! They've helped me when I've had trouble with my insurance -- and helped me find coupons for expensive meds. Once when I was sick they even dropped medication at my apartment. They really live up to what a neighborhood pharmacy should be! read more

I LOVE this place ! I have never been so excited to get my prescription or last minute items on the go or for home. I have never felt so welcomed entering a store and feel respected. I don't have to worry about waiting for my prescriptions because I receive a text when it's ready! How awesome is that and very stress free. This is literally the most random store that's right next to my apartment (tell tale sign of gentrification, at its finest) but it's pretty cool nonetheless. Think high-end gift store meets Walgreens. They have Voluspa candles - oooh, Mario Badescu skincare - ahh, and Plan B - WOOOOW - for when you're having one of those days/night. People at the counter are very nice and they offer a wonderful rewards program. read more

This is the newer store that opened recently, but they've been on 5th Avenue for quite awhile. I switched to them because I remembered in 2013 when I had injured my spine, their pharmacists were so incredibly kind and patient with me when I was very near to a meltdown due to extreme pain and insurance issues. I don't even remember what the situation was, but I remember how they made me feel and it was supported and taken care of. Fast forward to 2019. I had a major issue with my doctor and insurance and Gary helped me sort it all out. Again...supported, taken care of. That's what you can expect from Park Chemists. In a country where healthcare is absolutely exhausting to deal with in all its forms, this group of people makes life so much easier and I'll be giving them my business as long as I live in New York. Couldn't ask for more. read more

I went in because I pass it on the way to/from home everyday and had been meaning to check it out - wasn't planning to buy anything. Was immediately greeted, given some free swag, and offered help. Had needed to buy some tea tree oil and was planning on Amazon but was so impressed by the customer service, I purchased here. Great selection and layout, and really can't say enough about how nice and welcoming the staff was here. Will definitely stop by in the future! read more
