Like other reviewers I wanted to try the viral Dubai Strawberry Chocolates! When I first entered there was a little line and unfortunately most of the tables were visibly unclean. The place itself looked nice along with their other desserts. I only knew that the price went up to $15 because of another review. I can't say it's worth $15 but since I was sharing it that made it a little better. Presentation wise it looked pretty and at first I thought there wouldn't be enough filling but it was just the right amount. It was yummy and had a nice crunch. Overall I give it a 7/10! read more

The two girls working were so sweet and working hard! You could tell they were definitely overwhelmed with the amount of walk ins there was but the wait time was short and the transaction was easy. The strawberries were so fresh and it all tasted so well together! One cup is $12 which is amazing compared to places in birmingham! definitely worth it and it's packed to the top which is nice! could be shared if you have a smaller appetite with another person. 10/10 worth every penny! read more

Sweet comes with pistachios but if someone doesn't want the pistachios on top and ask them to have it on the side due to allergies they charge $3 extra for it. It's not about the $3 is the concep. Ripping people off. Went here to try the viral chocolate strawberry cup. First of all, there's NO prices on anything. So you don't know if something you want is $4 or $13. Too much unknown. I got one of the cups and was charged $15!! I asked why isn't it $12, the girl said yea the price went up like 3 weeks ago cuz they are so popular. (I understand this, yet again, NO pricing anywhere.) Also, there's 2 counters, one straight fwd, and one to the left. The cups are to the left. I never saw a sign that said anything about it, and I waited in the other line only to be told the cups are over there. The cup itself was ok. The flavors were good, and tasted good together. I didn't like that the chocolate was so hot that it made the strawberry too warm. I found out I didn't like hot strawberries. I put the cup in the fridge and tried it again the next morning, now it's too solid to even get a bite out of. Left it out in my counter for 4-5 hours and it was soft enough to eat. So Meh, if I had a choice, I'd take the chocolate bar over the strawberry cup any day. read more

They sold me kunafa which was cold like ice and when i told them I don't like it they suggested to warm it up in the microwave instead of the oven, when I refused to heat it in the microwave they told me to throw it away in trash and said good bye in a sarcastic way. WOW!! Every year I order some baklava from Shatilla for his birthday. I have NO IDEA why I decided to order from Paris Pastry this year. THE WORST!! First of all, we live in Denver and it showed up in a plastic envelope...he opened it to find that the aluminum tray was just covered with a few layers of plastic wrap! The way it was shipped was soooo unprofessional and really stupid! It's shocking because the shipping charge costs almost as much as the product! You can't spring fir a box?? Their fresh cakes are delicious but their customer service is dreadful. I tried one of their already made assorted slices and it was dry and threw it out. For birthday cakes, you're better off going elsewhere. After several attempts at birthday cakes, they really don't get it as they are probably better suited for more formal events. And unless they have more knowledgeable people at the counter to help with your desired cake order, it's not even worth the stress. Too bad. read more

The place is nice to walk in to. I was expecting to see Parisian pastry, but not exactly what I saw. The desserts were definitely more middle eastern. They had different flavors of baklava. They also had cannoli's and cakes. There were cake sculptures of beautiful wedding cakes. So if you are looking for a wedding cake that looks grand, I would come here. The overall thing I didn't like was they name is misleading. I expected a Parisian influence, but it is more middle eastern. Still the desserts looked good. *Update* the pistachio baklava is so good! So, I ordered a custom cake for my birthday. The first time I went in on my lunch hour, I showed a picture of the cake that I wanted for my birthday and the girl working flat out said "he cannot do this cake". I can't figure out what that was all about.... ? I thought to myself this cannot be true as I looked all around at the beautiful cakes, that are works of art. Finally, the person took my information and a few days later the company got back to me and said-yes, this can be done. When I went to pick the cake up my jaw dropped at how beautiful it was -- it was perfection. The disappointing part about all this is I spent $100 for this cake and when my husband and I actually tried it there was no flavor. I know it's a fondant cake and they're made more densely but there was just no flavor at all. But i guess im not coming in for their smiles, but it would be nice. I only got the Kunafa, both cream and the cheese variety. Ive had better cheese kunafa, but this one was still good although not as creamy of a texture even when heated. I think the prices are decent, but not as affordable on some items. UPDATE: They took it back and fixed it, but still forgot the color swirls, not my biggest concern I ordered a birthday cake for my friend there, and it was probably the worst cake I have ever seen. First of all, they cannot even get my requests right. I asked for the name to be put on a bottom plate below the cake and they did not even put one and decided to put the name on the side of the cake. They originally did not even put the swirly frosting on the bottom, and when I asked them to put it, they only put the blue color, when I asked for blue, black and white. They put the cake in the box where the whole cake slid off of the bottom plating and hit the side of the box, basically ruining the cake. Even on the top of the cake is very poorly made. read more

The young lady made me pay in advance for the cakes over the phone (cakes were only $45). Needless to say, I showed up to pick up and the second cake was not what I had specifically asked for. Language was clearly not a barrier as I'm fluent in English and Arabic. When asked to fix it they said the pasty chef was too busy and I needed to come back for it. While the variety of cake slices we purchased looked beautiful, they tasted terrible. They may have tested better when they were fresh, but it's probably been a while since this cake was made. It tasted like the cake you forgot you had in the back of your fridge from a birthday party a few weeks ago, and you aren't even sure when you bought it, but you're desperate and/or drunk so you have a slice, and it tastes like the inside of your fridge.
