Wow this place is heaven. There are so many wonderful treats. I wanted to try to one of everything, especially because there are so many things I have never tried. The deserts range from pure sweetness to near savory. We took home pecan filled pastry cups, pineapple cake, a cheese pastry, Nutella baklava, and a pastry with pistachio and cream. I wish I knew all of the names. The pecan ups were small amazing morsels of yum. The savory cheese desert wasn't my favorite, bit it was so nice to try something new. We were looking for some Arabic desserts and decided to give this place a try. They have an extremely large selection of cookies, cakes, baklava, and much more. They also have a large seating area where you can sit down and enjoy your treats. They also have a beverage station where you can order drinks as well when you first walk in. I absolutely love the sweets and my family loves Baklava. I was having a party and a Chaldean friend told me to order the Baklava cut I. 1/2 ahead of time. I did and it was written on the order. It wasn't cut and when I asked they said that this is the way it is - they JUST CREATED a mini-Baklava and it was more money. I said fine I would pay - they said they had none. The cakes are good quality, but unfortunately, the customer service experience was enough to make me take my business elsewhere. I stopped in to ask about pricing for a cake for an upcoming event, and the employees I spoke with were incredibly rude and condescending. I was simply asking questions about their pricing and options, but I was made to feel like I was bothering them or should have already known the answers. When you're considering spending a significant amount of money on a cake for a special event, you should be able to ask questions without being spoken down to or made to feel stupid. While I do think their cakes are good, the quality isn't enough to outweigh such an unprofessional and uncomfortable customer service experience. I'll be going elsewhere for my event. read more

This is the best place for baklava! They have such a huge selection of savory and sweet desserts. Ice cream, the viral fruit desserts, and even personal pizzas. Definitely worth a stop in even just to look around! We were a bit confused on how things work because there are multiple counters. You line up at one counter with a number, then an employee leads you to one of the other counters to order and pack your choices. It was pretty confusing because the line and main counter was busy when we went. Otherwise they have a really pretty sitting area if you want to eat in. I love their petite sweets and their meat bread. I love how they open early which is the best time to go because it can get really busy. We get their cakes all the time but their cakes are okay. All the pastries are gorgeous and taste equally as good, and the variety is huge! I also adore Farhat Sweets for their customized event orders. They made my engagement cake, husband's residency match cake, mehndi/wedding celebration cakes, and cupcakes. The detail in all of these is awesome and people love the taste as well. I came today at about 3pm on Saturday. It was super packed! I didn't quite understand the ticketing system initially, but I did figure it out after a while. I saw this place on social media and fell in love with how good the chocolate bar looked. So naturally I try it and it's delicious! However, I am quite disappointed with how it looked and the overall execution of it. When I asked for the chocolate bar, they went to the back and bagged it up for me while I cashed out. I didn't even look at the chocolate bar until I got home. When I saw it, I noticed that there was no special detail at the top, it was cracked in a couple places, and it was melting. My drive home wasn't even 15 minutes, and it was already melting and coming apart. The bar itself taste amazing but the overall execution and not being able to actually hold the chocolate bar I was very disappointed about. I feel very misled. I had my eye on this place for quite awhile. We finally made it in to try some of their desserts. First, they have such an amazing selection from sweet to savory, it was very difficult to only pick one item each. We love gelato, and they had some enticing selections, but we came in from a snowstorm, so we will return later to try their ice cream. We got their tiramisu, a vanilla unicorn cake slice, and a nutella cronut. All of it was delicious. The vanilla cake was so super moist, and melted in your mouth. The tiramisu was not bad, a bigger portion than many places. I made a mistake of allowing the server to heat my cronut, it was so ooey gooey and melted, it was a ten alarm napkin situation. I would get it again, and eat it as is. But it was still very chocolatey and chewy and tasty. The place has a lot of places to sit and enjoy your food, or you can take your items home. Many people were hanging out visiting friends or sittting with families. They offer coffee, which I would have tried their had I not just had tea before visiting. This place seemed to have a lot of people coming and going which is a great sign. I like a busy and popular place, that tells us customers like it here. I will be back soon to try more. I didn't want to believe they were going to be too sweet, but unfortunately, they were. If you are looking for something less sweet, maybe go for chocolate cake, or cake in general. If you are looking for something really sweet, the baklavas will be your go to. We got thr Bussma and pistachio bird nest. Both unique but very sweet. What a beautifully decorated place to pick up sweet, savory, and delectable treats! They have a number system that I didn't notice initially. I walked around the counters trying to decide what to order and a cashier asked what I wanted to order. They make it HARD because so many things look absolutely delicious! The Dubai Chocolate was soooo goood I got lucky and only had to wait 5 minutes for the next batch so I got mine relatively quick. I wish they made a dark chocolate version, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I literally live down the street and this was my first time coming here. I had about ten minutes to kill because I was waiting for my Indian food carryout from New Delhi, a few shops over from Farhat, and I noticed they had lots of baklava and pastries, so I stopped in. First off: it functions like a deli counter, and you need to grab a number off the roll thing when you walk in (no one told me this, but then I noticed people doing that). They have a MASSIVE amount of different types of baklava, and a lot of people were ordering trays. I ordered a piece of the Nutella baklava, because I've never seen that before and I was curious, and a small piece of a regular type of baklava, and my total was $4. They do not take credit cards if your order is less than $10. I tried to use the 10% off deal that popped up when I checked in on Yelp, and the cashier took my phone (not a fan of that in a pandemic ...) and asked her supervisor, and then told me they are not doing that anymore. Weird, because later I looked at Yelp and there's a 3-month-old review on here that said they did take it, but okay. I just ate the regular baklava and it was pretty delicious, so I can see why this place is so popular. They also have non-baklava desserts (see my pics) too. Overall, 5/5 for the baklava and 3 to 4 out of 5 for the service and kinda-confusing order system, so I will give Farhad 4 stars overall. Also, I might be wrong on this, but I think they might be expanding + moving across the street to the ALDI plaza, near Vivi bubble tea - there's a big sign that says FARHAT, COMING SOON on one of the standalone buildings there. read more

I went to Farhat Sweets yesterday and bought a Dubai Chocolate Bar, 4 pieces of baklava, one slice of lemon cake and a slice of carrot cake. I had no idea what a Dubai chocolate bar was and honestly wasn't crazy about it. Thought I was buying just a regular chocolate bar but she put this huge bar in my bag. Everyone will try it, and then the trend will fizzle out and no one will remember this chocolate bar even exists. I'll be honest the bar itself was a 8/10. It was delicious! During my last visit, there weren't many customers in the shop and yet, it took about 20 minutes for our coffee to be ready and our sweets were given to us without trays, until we asked for one.
