I have been coming to this salon for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I want to start by saying that all of the staff here have always been kind, welcoming, and friendly. My experience has never been with them. Unfortunately, the owner is the exception, and this experience completely changed my opinion of the salon. I called at 10:00 a.m. to schedule a simple manicure and pedicure for myself and my 6-year-old daughter for 1:00 p.m. When we arrived, the owner immediately insisted that I had never called. I calmly showed him my call log proving that I had called that morning. Instead of admitting the mistake or apologizing, he became visibly angry. Rather than simply fixing the situation, he had customers getting pedicures moved around while they were waiting for their nails to dry, creating unnecessary chaos throughout the salon. What made the experience even worse was that he repeatedly spoke to the staff in another language while everyone kept looking at me. I don't know exactly what was being said, but it was obvious I was the topic of conversation. I told him that it was making me feel uncomfortable, yet the staff simply smiled and continued. I felt embarrassed, singled out, and completely disrespected in front of a room full of people. The issue was never that a mistake happened. Mistakes happen. The problem was the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service. A simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong when I had proof that I hadn't. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially in front of their child. After years of being a loyal customer, I will not be returning because of the owner's behavior. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the staff have always been wonderful. I hope the owner takes this seriously because no one deserves to be humiliated for a mistake the salon made. read more

I had incredibly high hopes when I entered this salon, but to be comepltely honest, none of my hopes were met. My friend and I called ahead to be sure of availibility, and still when we arrived sat in chairs waiting to be seen for at least a half hour. Once we were finally seen, we had different experiences. Though I cannot fault them for their design ability, I would prefer for them to have refused my design then to have messed it up so badly. In additon, he left me for the phone multipe times, and was generally rude when I asked him to change shape or size after he asked if it was okay. (I ended up re-shaping them later once I got home because he seemingly couldn't even them out for the life of him.) He didn't even do my color, sending me off to wait for another artist for another half hour! My friend's nail artist did quite well and seemed to be very nice, so I am not sure what happened with the man I saw, but it was very unprofessional. Finally, I have gotten gel-x done many times in my life, even having done them myself, and when nail-after-nail started popping off not even at the 2 week mark, I knew that this salon hadn't even attempted to give the care they had promised. They were able to take me in fast and get my pedicure done in about 40 minutes. As soon as I got there, I was seated, which is nice that I didn't have to wait. It was a lunch hour, but let me know. I had a great experience with my nails. I was a walk-in and was seen within 10-15 minutes. I originally picked out a color but didn't like it while the tech was painting my toes. I requested to please have it changed, that I would pay, and she said it was fine, no additional charge and helped me pick a better color. Very fast but thorough and friendly. Got me in as a walking for a full set and pedi. I paid $130 + 10 tip to each of nail techs.

Went for a basic pedicure, which is $30. They charged me $35 for removal of previous pedicure polish which was just regular polish not gel. Since when do you charge for polish removal?? You really have to watch these nail places they will up charge you on everything. My pedicure was ok, definitely not professional work. Still haven't found a good nail place in Thousand Oaks. read more

If I can read them as zero, they would be a zero. Ask them if they could be creative with nails with the color pine. I wanted unable to do so they could only copy some other design. I also let them know that I needed a pedicure and her and damage due to a bone spur. I have a toenail that grows crooked and therefore, I needed them to cut it in a way that it wouldn't grow into the skin. I told her that they could cut it shorter. It would not hurt, and it would not believe she refused and handed me the nail clippers myself. I asked her why I would pay for someone to hand me the clippers to clip my own toenails if I'm telling her it will be fine. They didn't proceed to tell me well then fine you can leave so I left. The customer service there is horrible. Did not even bother to try. If you want your nails poorly done or just half assed then this is the perfect place for you. If you want some decent nails where they actually do their job since you're paying for a service go somewhere else. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for four years. I raise orchids, paint, sculpt and cook lots. My hands are in water and I don't need a full set or French manicure. I have just one nail that splits and I've come to Paris nails for just one overlay on this problem nail. Today I went in and was treated so poorly by one man there. His behavior was awful. He made a fool of me and shouted and complained as he fixed my one nail. Even though he was speaking I believe in Vietnamese I somehow understood. I tip well for this little procedure. I didn't have a great experience here. During my visit, I felt uncomfortable because I was repeatedly looked up and down and reminded multiple times of the prices of services I was already aware of. It came across as unnecessary and made me feel judged, as if there was an assumption I wouldn't be able to pay. I come to salons to relax, not to feel profiled or uncomfortable. Stopped by on a whim on a Friday afternoon. They had a few pedicure chairs open and were able to accommodate me immediately. I was excited that I'd found a new place I could return to. Nope! First red flag was the gentleman was pushing my cuticles back dry, no water no cuticle cream nothing. Let it go and try to enjoy the pedi. 2nd flag- A couple, with an appointment, had to wait about 10 minutes so, without a fuss, got up and left. An employee ran and yelled after them and rudely told them they could take one but the other would have to wait. 3rd flag- the polish I chose (yes I chose it) was not applying evenly so I asked the nail tech to apply 4 coats and he was not happy after I kept asking for another coat. 4th flag- within 5 minutes of him applying the top coat, they kick me out of the chair and argue with me that the paint is dry. read more

Just did a basic gel fill and I was so impressed! K was my manicurist. He gave so much attention to detail and gave me the best shaping I've gotten in months.
