After researching for some time, the best reviews came from this particular location -- the next day around noon (Thursday), I decided to call and see if I could walk in, and the gentleman on the phone encouraged me to come on right over! When I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest staff and the biggest hello from Alex! I was seated immediately on one of the most comfortable massage chairs, and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes with the best service (which is the fastest and most efficient nail experience I've ever had!). I got a gel manicure and a gel pedicure -- and I was treated so well, and I felt so pampered!! There were so many colors to choose from, and the nail technicians helped me out. Alex said that they've been there for 5 years, and the other client sitting next to me also said she's been a loyal customer since the start of their opening. I saw Alex greet people by name and go around to make sure everyone was comfortable. The place was so clean, smelled great (no weird nail salon smells!), & I am so happy with the results, and I will definitely be a repeat client!

The nail tech was nice and worked quickly... too quickly. They didn't trim my cuticles or the skin around my nails. I asked for an ombré nail design, which is shown on their menu and provided a picture of the exact colors I wanted. Another nail tech came and took my phone to pick colors out and just started painting them on some of my nails before the original tech had even put gel on them. It was very odd... the second tech was rushing the first and was honestly doing a sloppy job. The color ended up being super off.. it was a Christmas tree green instead of a blue- teal color. I don't blame her for that, the bottle looked like a different color than the paint. They were also streaky and completely see-through. She asked if I liked them and I told her those things, and she told me the reference picture was see through too (which it was not-I added the reference) but she still redid them which I appreciated. I picked the new color myself, which matched the reference pic more and also wasn't see-through which was way better. The airbrush was having issues, which I could tell was super frustrating to them which sucks. But they just seemed to not really know how to do it very well. They finished and rushed me out quickly without cleaning any of the gel of my skin. With airbrush they usually wipe the paint off the skin before curing it so this doesn't happen. Now it's been a real pain to try to get off. They also did not clean up the sides of my nails, which were all jagged. I had to do a full nail clean up when I got home. Thankfully I have all the stuff at home to do that. The only reason for 3-stars is that the gel x nails are properly applied and should last. Overall I was not impressed. As a new client who is paying good money (and extra for a nail design) I expect some level of care. Also now knowing how to do a proper gel manicure, it's so obvious when they cut corners and rush (no nail/cuticle prep or clean up, only one layer of paint). And maybe don't offer a service (ombré) if you aren't confident in it or don't have properly working equipment. I wanted to do something nice for myself but ended up having more of a headache in the end, and had to pay my hard earned money for that headache.

My experience has never been with them. Unfortunately, the owner is the exception, and this experience completely changed my opinion of the salon. I called at 10:00 a.m. to schedule a simple manicure and pedicure for myself and my 6-year-old daughter for 1:00 p.m. When we arrived, the owner immediately insisted that I had never called. I calmly showed him my call log proving that I had called that morning. Instead of admitting the mistake or apologizing, he became visibly angry. Rather than simply fixing the situation, he had customers getting pedicures moved around while they were waiting for their nails to dry, creating unnecessary chaos throughout the salon. What made the experience even worse was that he repeatedly spoke to the staff in another language while everyone kept looking at me. I don't know exactly what was being said, but it was obvious I was the topic of conversation. I told him that it was making me feel uncomfortable, yet the staff simply smiled and continued. I felt embarrassed, singled out, and completely disrespected in front of a room full of people. The issue was never that a mistake happened. Mistakes happen. The problem was the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service. A simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong when I had proof that I hadn't. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially in front of their child. After years of being a loyal customer, I will not be returning because of the owner's behavior. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the staff have always been wonderful. I hope the owner takes this seriously because no one deserves to be humiliated for a mistake the salon made.

Do not get acrylics (pink and white) done with the guy. I would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible job. Never ever going back. Doesn't listen to customer. I'm walking out looking like I already need a fill! When I mentioned to him that he didn't go all they way to the side, he came up with a bs excuse that this way it looks like my real nail. Um not really when some nails are worse than others and especially after you told me to do medium pink when I wanted light pink, so it's super visible. He didn't even go to the sides when he put in the clear gel on top. And all of my nails are crooked, even the white part! They slant to one the side. When I mentioned to him he said "you'll be fine!" Wft! At that point I just wanted to get out of there. I was so upset. One hand looks totally different than my other hand. None of it is proportional. And the worst part is there is a bunch of bubbles in the pink part. I'm sorry I paid. And no tip, for not even trying. Going back to Top Nail around the corner. I'm sorry I cheated only because my favorite person wasn't available for my last minute request. I should have just waited. My nails looked better before I walked in to Mink Nails. read more

I went here because they had great reviews and great prices. I got a full set and pedicure with callous remover and gel it came out to be 125 before tip that is crazy. 10 for the callous remover which I have at home and it is the same brand that bottle I have was 5.00 retail price . Don't want to waste my time explaining anymore. Bottom line is had to come back twice once the very next day and the 2nd 2 days after that my nails looked so bad I ended up tearing them off after a week. They wayyy over charged me very unhappy client. I would never go back nor recommend to anyone else. read more

John did my acrylics and he paid so much attention to the little details and patiently working with me to make them exactly how I like. I went back again to see him and brought a friend to get an acrylic set done as well and we're both so in love with the work the nail techs do here! The spa pedicure is such a treat -- they surprised me with a stone massage that was so great that I will be making this my new favorite place. I also had a ten minute massage on my neck and shoulders. They treat you so nice and spend time on you without making you feel rushed. It has been two weeks and there is not a chip off my polish, which is still shiny. Amazing. read more

I had to repeatedly ask for corrections because the pedicure wasn't being done properly. Instead of doing the basic pedicure maintenance--like removing the dead skin around my toes and cleaning them up--he just kept applying more hard gel. Even the other employees seemed to notice something was wrong because I kept pointing out issues with my nails. I also paid an extra $10 for exfoliation, but he spent most of that time exfoliating my legs while I was asking him to please focus on my feet, where I still had a lot of dead skin that hadn't been removed. Despite bringing up my concerns several times, I was still charged the full price. I appreciate that he was friendly, but the quality of the service didn't match what I paid for. I would recommend trying another nail salon.

We loved it. It felt like going over to family's home because they were so welcoming. Our kids played a little with the toys but they also put kids shows on the tv so our kids had a great time while my wife and her friends had a great time. They had some candy for the kids too. Prices were reasonable, everyone was relaxed with the massage chairs and nails looked amazing! She also did a fast job because somebody else was waiting for her. I don't like it that they take clients like me for granted and feel the need to be rude. Time to find another nail place.
