I called in to ask about getting my glasses fixed (I slammed them in a car door and tried to repair them with super glue) and the woman I spoke with on the phone was there to help me in person. DONT USE SUPER GLUE TO FIX YOUR GLASSES because she would've easily been able to fix them had I not glued a screw in. I'm very attached to my glasses and I appreciate how much effort she put into making sure they got repaired. I was referred to a repair shop that was able to remove the glue, reconstruct my damaged frames and fit them to my face. I would've never been able to get my glasses back without her referral. She was so kind and helpful and deserves more than a 5 star rating. These are honest people who do honest work and go out of their way to help!!! Thank you! read more

I took a pair of vintage glasses here to get lenses isntalled. I'd heard about their super thin lenses and they were open on a Sunday with a sale going on. What can I say? I'm impatient. In the end I am happy with my glasses but I was not so hapy with the experience. Let me break it down in terms of product and service. Their product is top notch, five-star worthy. The lenses are SUPER thin and when a sale is going on they are basically the same price as standard, thick lenses elsewhere. I paid 120 for high index lenses with antireflective coating for my -4.0D funky-shaped lenses. Their service is low, like two-star worthy. The first day I was in they were friendly, even admiring my new vintage swag. They said it would take a few days to get the lenses which was fine, given that the hour optical shops often cut corners by cutting the wrong shape lenses and jamming it into place where a gap causes stress on the frame. So I was happy with them taking time. Of course they said they couldn't guarantee the frame wouldn't break, always the case. So I dropped them off convinced it would be good. The problems started when they called two days later and I swung by to pickup my glasses. I was helped by a different lady who wanted to spend as little time with me as possible. She handed my glasses over and proceeded to try to walk away. I inspected the frames, checked out the lenses and put them on. When I asked if they were straight she announced they don't bend frames. I didn't ask her to bend them, I just asked if they looked straight. That's a pretty odd reaction. Then when I went to put my old glasses away she ripped them out of my hand a proceeded to clean them...without my permission. Perhaps it hadn't dawned on her that I was getting new glasses because those were about to fall apart. Seriously. Then she set them down and walked away. Hmmm. The other little thing that bugged me was that they didn't clean the frames at all. Most optical hops will clean the frames and adjust them even if you didn't just shell out for glasses, this one will do neither. That being said, the lenses are really great--super thin with an antireflective coating. Can't really argue with the service for that price. read more

Best experience purchasing eyeglasses! Sawako was friendly and helpful and gave me what felt like honest opinions for what frames looked good or didn't on my face. Lucky for me my prescription isn't very strong so she estimated a day for my set to be ready so I was surprised when they called me 4 hours later to tell me my glasses were ready to be picked up! And the best of all was the low flat price for my frames and lenses. Earlier in the morning I was drooling over a pair of $691.00 frames at Broadway vision Source, I am so glad I shopped around. read more

I've looked around many shops for months trying to find my dream glasses. Finally at Paris Miki I found them! Though the shop is very small, it is highly condensed with a huge selection of both designer frames and inexpensive frames. They always have sales that last for weeks on eyeglass services and even designer eyeglass frames. I got my pair of Ray Bans when they had a 20% off all Ray Bans sale. The worker there was also very nice and friendly. She didn't try to sell me the most expensive pairs, but rather found options similar to the ones I was looking at, but at more affordable prices. read more

Paris Miki was AMAZING! I broke my glasses and was about to go on vacation. None of the other glasses places in Seattle told me they could get me new ones within 10 days. At Paris Miki my glasses were ready in TWO days. There is a ton of selection, the prices are good and the customer service was IMPECCABLE! read more

Looking through my new glasses as I type. Great options for high fashion at high to midrange prices, and excellent low price frames. I was looking for a cute but affordable pair, and picked up really cute lenses and frames for $95. They had my lenses in stock and I got them in an hour. Love this place, and will go back. read more

Sawako the store manager was very professional in helping me. She was very helpful and very straight forward with the price of frames, and lens. She was also very helpful with guiding me through the insurance coverage. The overall experience was very honest and trustworthy. She also gave great advice on the fit of frames on different ethnic facial profile. I highly recommend this store over the other branch of this chain in Bellevue, who provided conflicting information between my two visits timed two month apart, initially giving me a sales price, and then later the full markup price. Definitely stick with the Seattle Paris Miki if you want a headache free eye wear shopping experience. read more

My insurance doesn't cover glasses, so I have to buy them out of pocket. I went here and was able to buy two really cute pairs of prescription glasses (one pair of cateye Ray Bans, another off their $95 table) with the bells-and-whistles lenses -- polycarbonate, anti-glare, etc. It came out to about $375 for both. Both ladies helped me and were great, and even though they estimated 9-10 days, both pairs of specs, ordered Friday night, were ready by Wednesday! The only problem was really that there were too many to choose from... I may have to go back for more... read more

I loathe getting new glasses. So much so that I have been wearing the same ones for 3 years with my old prescription. I finally had to get a new pair and after looking at many overpriced specialty shops, found my way to Paris Miki. The experience was so easy. I picked out a beautiful pair of last season's Coach frames on sale for 30% and selected lenses that were nicely priced with all the bells and whistles so they don't keep adding cost for every little thing (like scratch resistant coating). They billed my insurance and took payment for the rest, and I was out of there in less than 20 minutes. It went so smoothly that I grew concerned about the final product. The whole process was almost too good compared to my previous experiences! It did take a full week to get the glasses done, but for me it was totally worth the wait. I love them! My lenses are so thin and they look and feel really nice. I will not go anywhere else, and I may actually start getting a new pair annually to keep current with my script! read more

Definitely a fan after ordering new specs on a Sat & ready in 10 days. Great selection in such a small space, lots of fun or conservative frames to choose from. No language problem, great personal service from Sylvia, bifocal perfectly placed and such a reasonable price. After years of patronizing a larger, high end business that I had to drive to this was eazy-pezy & got there on the bus to boot. read more

I went in looking for some cool new glasses...Sawako, the store manager, helped me to pick out frames that I would not have seen among their giant selection...they were perfect! She was totally honest about their lens prices and helped my wife and I both find new glasses that were stylish, a great fit and very affordable (for Ray Bans!). Not only did Sawako help me find the perfect pair of glasses, but had them ready for me in less than 20 minutes!! The whole experience from start to finish was customer-service and value at their best. I would highly recommend Paris Miki in Uwajimaya to anyone looking for a cool pair of glasses at a great price. Ask for Sawako, she's awesome. read more

Great selection of styles and prices. Also, many pairs for narrow faces.

I've always been looking for a pair of glasses that would fit and the store manager knew what I was looking for straight away. She felt sorry that my current glasses didn't fit so well. She was very helpful in picking out a frame. She was quick and I didn't feel rush at all. In fact I'm just one of those people who likes to get things done rather then dragging it on. I paid out of pocket, but my frame was 30% off. I believe it was an early summer sale. I am very surprised in how fast my prescription frame came. I just ordered it 3 days ago. I would defiantly go back to this place. It's much thinner then my other pair of glasses and it was made in Japan. read more

Fantastic service! Needed basic maintenance on my sunglasses and they fixed me up quickly. I work in Pioneer Square and will be back for all my eyeglass needs. read more

One of the screws of my glasses, which I bought from another store, was somehow missing during work. I went to the store to try my luck. The staff was super friendly. She added a screw and had it fixed in no time. And it was free. Thank you! read more

I am so happy with the excellent service I received from Paris Maki inside Uwajimaya. The staff were all very helpful, patient, and gave me excellent care. My new glasses are wonderful and sold to me at a very fine price. I highly recommend this shop. read more

What a find! Lots and lots of frame choices, many that are "Asian fit," and helpful, knowledgeable staff. And the glasses that my family member selected, even with a special thin frame and anti-glare coating, were $145.00!!!! We almost spent $450 at another eyewear store! I'm recommending Paris Miki to everyone! read more

They don't hand you a "lifetime guarantee" card, but they might as well. I bought my glasses here six years ago, and I can still walk in after I've done something dumb to warp my glasses, and they'll true them back up for me. The glasses they carry are unique, so they recognize their own product easily ... I've never been asked for a receipt. The customer service here is exceptional. If you typically have trouble finding glasses that look right on your face, as I do, try this place. read more

So much variety in their glasses! I never write reviews (as you can tell), but the lady was so so helpful and stayed 40 minutes after closing in order to help me pick out my glasses. She has so much patience and my glasses were made in less than 24 hours, although that depends on your prescription (mine is pretty basic). Also, they were having a spring clearance which was so helpful as I was able to get a frame of raybans for $110! Have both low and high end frames though! read more

This place is great! I was able to get a great discount 20% on both frames. My husband was on the fence about his glasses and they gave him an additional discount. They will bill my insurance and then I should get a refund from them. I hope it works out well. read more

My itty-bitty head looks cross-eyed in most glasses. Great selection of petite frames in unusual, but not crazy styles. I've never had better lenses in my life. I actually had someone ask why I wore frames with no lenses - they're that clear! Convinced my mom to get glasses there, too, and she's been equally delighted. read more

Have been looking at Paris Miki for years. I have a small face and small nose, so I am very difficult to fit. I finally found a pair I liked. Looking forward to getting them. read more
