If you just want to grab and go at a Paris Baguette and not looking to dine-in or want to go inside a busy cafe bakery, then this tiny store branch location is perfect for you at intersection of San Tomas Expressway & El Camino Real. This was my first visit to this location. Old and hidden, no seats or tables. It's just a tiny store with just as much to offer. It wouldn't be the best location if you're trying to order in bulk or for huge parties, but do order in advance if you do. Tiny store tiny inventory. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lady before me took over 10-15 minutes to ring up because she was ordering a whole bunch of things during morning rush hour/Thursday. It held the line up a bit. Overall, employee was working effectively as usual. Tiny store with patience. I had a medium sized pumpkin latte (cost me only $3 from the app rewards), a butter bread, hot dog pastry, and a plain croissant. Delicious as usual. I had a great experience chatting with another local lady waiting behind me. We really enjoyed the tiny store experience. For a small store, cakes looked even better here. I especially love the chocolate cake with penguins on the pond. Tempting. Perhaps I will come back after my vacation in two weeks from now. I have a feeling that I will end up buying the holiday cake before end of this year. Good feeling about this place. It doesn't have the typical busy cafe style vibes, but getting in and out, especially in the parking lot was very easy. Love tiny business locations.

My first time trying Paris Baguette and am very impressed. This location is a bit small only for take out orders All pastries on display are so tempting, such a sinful indulgence. But after my first bite, it's not so sinful after all. Pastries were not as sweet as other bakeries. Really loved the Coffee Bun and Peanut Crumb Bread. Makes a good breakfast item with coffee. Such delicate flavors of coffee and peanut in pillowy soft breads.

Chocolate, mousse, and sea salt caramel

Paris baguette has always been one of my go to bakeries for birthday parties and celebrations, but their new chocolate mousse and sea salt caramel cake has simply won me over. This new flavor is beautifully balanced with chocolate caramel, and just the right hint of salt to take it to the next level. And then again my all-time favorite - mocha cake which is a coffee lover's paradise. Both these flavors are my favorites and highly recommended!

The shop is very clean and well-organized. The staff were friendly and helped me find exactly what I wanted. It's a great place to grab a quick snack or a light meal. Highly recommend!

Curry croquette, front, crab croquette, back ($4.85/ea)

This is a tiny Paris Baguette that has less selection than the regular PBs, and no sitting area. They still have most of the Paris Baguette staples, including whole cakes. I was impressed with my last visit when they allowed me to redeem 2 pastry freebies from my rewards points plus my birthday drink! I opted to try the savory croquettes for a change, instead of my go-to sweets. The curry was better than the crab (I'm pretty sure it was imitation crab). I'll probably stick with the sweets here in the future. :)

A cozy PB location. The food was tasty and fresh! Perfect to grab and go for a quick pastry.

I'm glad there's a Paris Baguette closer to where I live, although it's smaller and no sit down. I usually go to get a birthday cake anyways, this time I went to redeem my free slice birthday reward which is different than they used to have just a free drink. Their prices have gone up over the years, but otherwise good.

They matched the reference photo I gave them almost exactly - and actually made it look better than the photo! They were so kind and patient in our back-and-forth about the cake details and it was packaged so carefully on the day of the pick-up. I've been coming to La Patisserie in Cupertino for years, usually when I'm already in the area…read moreshopping. There are a lot more fancy dessert shops around the Bay Area these days, but somehow I still come back for their Guava Cake. It's actually a strange craving. I don't think about this cake every week. Sometimes I completely forget about it for months, then one day something goes wrong in my brain and suddenly I NEED a guava cake. I've had this cake many times over the years and that's probably what impresses me most - it really hasn't changed much. Same fluffy cake, same very fragrant guava flavor, same bright old-school appearance. Maybe the angle of the whipped cream piping has changed a few degrees over the years, but I'll allow that process deviation. The guava flavor is the main reason I keep buying it. To me, it tastes surprisingly natural and close to real fruit. I've had plenty of guava desserts where you immediately get that artificial syrup/flavoring impression. I don't get that here. The guava is strong and fragrant, the cake itself is very light and fluffy, and the mousse and glossy guava topping give you that fruit flavor in almost every bite. This is definitely an old-school cake. It's not trying to be Lady M or some modern Instagram dessert. And that's fine. A good traditional cake is still a good cake. Usually I'm buying the whole cake to bring to someone's house, so I've watched a lot of first-timers try it over the years. Guava is guava - some people think it's on the sweet side, others love how fragrant it is. But somehow this is the one guava cake I've brought around that pretty much everybody ends up liking. And one comment I hear a lot is how natural the guava flavor tastes. It's around $70 for a whole cake now, which definitely isn't cheap. But if I'm paying that much for cake, at least give me something I can actually remember the next day. This one I can. If I'm planning to pick one up around 4 or 5 PM, I normally order earlier in the day. I've learned not to conduct unnecessary cake-inventory experiments. After all these years, La Patisserie's Guava Cake is still basically the same cake I remember. Dr. C long-term stability study: PASSED. Whipped cream piping angle may have experienced minor process drift. No CAPA required.

And if you lined up a bunch of varieties including, plain, chocolate, vegetable, cheese, or meat filled, the bottom of that on my list would be the ham & cheese version. I had a Preligen's Ham & Cheese croissant and it was so deliciously outstanding that I had to have a second one and that was also a first for me. It was as if they were marinated in butter (but of course that doesn't make sense). The cheese in the croissant was a flavor that I had not tasted before. And the ham (which is usually so undesirable to me that if say for example it was on a pizza, I would remove it) was so rich in taste and had an unusual texture. I would rather sausage, bacon, or even pepperoni any day over ham. If the Ham & Cheese Croissants are so unique and stellar in flavor, I cannot wait to try others from their, including and even a plain one. By the way, I called to ask what the secret ingredients were that made their ham & cheese so unusual. Preligen (who is the owner's first name) said that they use Gruyère cheese. And as for the ham, he claimed the special flavor was due to how it was cut! SO LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURN!!!!!

Holy moly, why didn't anyone clue me into this place?! This is a true Parisian patisserie unassumingly on the corner of Meridian and Hamilton in a fairly rundown strip mall. It's a tiny shop with barely any seating, so plan to take your bounty home with you. The butter croissants (the only way to measure) are crisp, flaky heaven. They have a spread of other pastries but it's hard to choose anything different. Dare I say my favorite croissant in the South Bay, and reasonably priced too! Cherry on top is that they serve Chromatic Coffee, and the lattes are excellent. It's a new weekend staple for us.
