Upon entering this cozy space on 30th ave and 31st street which has exceptional staff who go above and beyond. I originally wanted a matcha latte with my order. Upon noticing I had a reward that I wanted to use I asked for that, not realizing it was for regular coffee instead. When I didnt get my matcha my barista/server Tenzin said dont worry Ill make it for you free of charge. Now that is what I call amazing customer service. Now i have an extra coffee with my order :) Thank you

Ordered: 2 Cake Slices (~$10) - Oreo Cookies & Cream Cake: 2 layers of chocolate cake filled with Oreo cookie chunks and soft cream, topped with Oreo cookie soft cream - Tiramisu Mascarpone Cheesecake: coffee mascarpone cake, fresh cream, dark spoon and chocolate Aya's take: I was in the mood for something sweet and decided to give Paris Baguette another try! I don't know if it's this location specifically, but it is just lacking. The 2 cake slices for $10 promotion at this location seems worth it but then when you see the slices of cake, it's almost not worth it. They're pretty small. I have to say I really enjoyed the Oreo Cookies & Cream cake. It was creamy, soft, with the perfect amount of Oreos. The Tiramisu Mascarpone Cheesecake which arguably looks better was pretty dry, dense, and the flavors just didn't mesh well together for me. I think this location keeps the same look & feel as other Paris Baguettes but the execution of flavors is subpar.

5 stars for their chiffon cakes & cake slices! I'm serious - light as air, fresh, too easy to inhale. Dangerous. I was gifted a classic Korean Strawberry Chiffon Slice and no other cake I've had since then compares. I think there's French-influenced techniques in alot of the baking. The cake part is soft and the buttercream is light & airy, with a good ratio. Recently bought a Chocolate Ganache Cake & a few Slices (strawberry, mango coconut, mocha) to a party & everyone loved it, many went back for seconds. Excited that there's a Paris Baguette in Astoria now, but this location is pretty small and narrow. About 3-4 tables upfront. I think this is more of a grab and go place. I usually like the Custard Buns & Soboro (peanut crumble topped) Buns. Their packaged salads and sandwiches look pretty good and they have Vicky's potato chips (Jalapeño & Smokehouse BBQ). Never had their drinks, I don't get the impression that they're known for their coffee or drinks. Service was OK, when I bought the two cakes the female cashier said that she ran out of bags, I had no secure way of carrying it & it was raining. Then the male cashier stepped in when he saw me struggling, and went downstairs and brought up their giant blue square shopping bags (um, no they didn't run out!)- specifically for cakes. (I would hope so- considering that my total was $73) Gave me a disposable cake knife and some nice thin candles with foil bottoms. The company thought of every detail! Even the cake slices had acetate plastic wrapped around each individually, with a pull tab, so nothing gets ruined. Too bad that the location isn't the best, it's behind the bus stop shelter also. But glad for the expansion into Astoria. I suggest checking out the Paris Baguette in LIC on Jackson Avenue if you're interested in more of a sit down café feel. They also have more space to display pastries.

Paris Baguette is a well-known South Korean bakery chain with locations all over the world. One of their newest locations recently opened this past weekend in Astoria. The bakery is conveniently located near the 30th Avenue stop on the N train. As with most locations, this bakery sells freshly baked breads, pastries, sandwiches, salads, cakes, coffee, and tea. Think along the lines of French inspired baked goods but with a touch of Asian influence. Most of the pastries are light and not too sweet. And everything is displayed so beautifully. The tray and tongs at the front by the entrance are to help you grab the items from the display cases. Anytime I go inside a Paris Baguette, I make a point of walking around to carefully check out all of the items in the cases. I personally find it fun to peruse while trying to decide on what to purchase. Today I got a Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant, Walnut Cream Bread and a package of cream puffs. These are some of my favorite items to get at any Paris Baguette location, so I made sure to get them here. As soon as I got home, I gobbled up everything. Yup, all by myself. And I'm not even mad about it. They have a couple of Grand Opening promotions going on. If you make a purchase of $10 or more you get a free coupon book (for free coffee and discounts) and if you make a purchase of $30 or more you get a free tote bag. Make sure to come and visit soon.

I love this Paris baguette! There is always seating available. The food is always great (but you need to be quick to get the garlic croissants). The service is quick. Great place for coffee and baked goods

Oh man the crab croquettes were so good. Havent tried much else from there yet. I did however try the curry by accident since it was mislabeled on that day. Still good. Everything else besides food was ok...

I walked past on a rainy Monday around 5 pm and saw a big poster outside Happy Frappe-y Hour advertising $2 drinks. Feeling hungry for something sweet, I decided to go in and order a Happy Hour Matcha Frappe. However, when I reached the cashier, I was told that there was no such promotion on Mondays. What the heck! If you're going to promote a special offer in your store, please make it more clear. This feels like fraud! So, I ended up paying the full price, and to be honest, the matcha they used tasted cheap and old. As you can see in the picture, it's very dark green, not the bright green I expected. I recommend getting a matcha frappe from Starbucks instead, even if it's the same price, so you won't be disappointed.

Out of all the flavors I've tried here so far, nothing beats the rose milk tea. I also like the Thai milk tea but it doesn't beat the rose. The main problem I have with their milk teas is that every time I ask for less syrup (25,50%), I get no syrup. It's either full syrup or no syrup, which means too sweet or no sweetener. With the exception of the brown sugar milk tea, which had a clump of sugar syrup on the bottom, the rest of the times I asked for less syrup, I got none. I didn't realize the sugar syrup was clumped together at the bottom of the cup for the brown sugar milk tea. The 1st sip was extremely sweet since all the syrup came up. The rest of the drink was devoid of sweetener. I've tried the following milk teas recently: black sesame, jasmine, & brown sugar. I didn't like any of these because of the lack of sweetener. Anyway, learned my lesson not to ask for less sweet drinks here. I also noticed something weird when I went a few months ago. The employee had her phone stuck out from under the employee side pointed towards us. Seemed like she was recording. Weird. Anyway, the OD ( Thai tea) toast was sadly a bit too burnt for me that day. When I went again this week, the OD toast was on point. I always get Thai tea filling cream since I've learned from the 1st time that I got the mixed, the pandan has no flavor whatsoever.
