Stopped at this location during a weekend trip to NYC and got the king cream donut and sweet potato pastry. The king cream donut is one of the few filled donuts that I have come across that I have truly liked. The donut itself was pillowy and soft and the filling inside was luxurious, light, and creamy - they perfectly complement each other and I'm obsessed. The sweet potato pastry was also amazing - flaky and buttery with black sesame seeds sprinkled on top. They do have some seating inside, but it can be busy as there are often folks working or studying. Very casual and would recommend more as a grab and go type of place. Service was friendly. This is my third time trying Paris Baguette and I am still not impressed with them. I got their twisted donut, curry croquette, lemon cream and strawberry mini croissant, and hash brown bread with ham and cheese. The curry croquette, I've had before in 2022, barely had any filling and the curry flavor wasn't strong enough. And now, it's 2025 and the curry croquette is still lackluster. The twisted donut would have been better if there was a filling inside, it just tasted like fried dough with sugar. The lemon cream and strawberry mini croissant was decent, I thought the lemon cream was too sweet, however, my friend enjoyed it. Finally, the hash brown bread with ham and cheese was the best out of the four, it definitely could use more ketchup though. I want to rate this place better but we've ordered quite a few cakes from here and they have not been the best. Last month we picked up one of the cakes with cereal on the bottom and it was not good. The flakes were extremely clumpy on the bottom. Way too many hard flakes and they took up almost half of the cake! We were totally disappointed. Today we visited Paris Baguette and unfortunately had a bad experience with the service. The person who's attended us was quite rude, and we don't understand why, since she was being friendly with other's customers before us. From the start, she looked at us in an arrogant way. We bought a lot of pastries, and she didn't even offer us a bag, we had to ask for it ourselves. I come here daily for breakfast- hot matcha and a sandwich. This morning, I placed my order with a cashier named Shontaya and waited on the side for my drink. After 10mins, I asked her about my drink, letting her know I was running late for work. She said she would make it, but she continued checking out other customers instead. I asked for a refund at that point so I can leave. Her attitude was rude, nasty customer service, and it felt like she was intentionally taking her time. The manager eventually came to do the refund. I ordered a cake for my son's birthday, in addition the little one asked for a rainbow cake slice. I tried to create an account for him to redeem his b-day slice, but the account couldn't be created because he is young. So I created my account. Account creation was happening beforehand otherwise I wouldn't be able to order a cake. The cashier first sent a child to choose the cake without checking if it was allowed because I asked to check since it's my first time doing it. When he chose she told me that it can't be redeemed because it is my account! I tried to explain her that to have his account was not possible but the lady at the counter didn't even want to listen to me and started "you don't understand I keep explaining to you". I said that it means children don't get this promotion and they should warn but not send a child choose a slice! Especially on birthday. She was rude when I told her that she didn't even let me explain. The manager was covering her, so it was not fair at all. As a result the child was refused this slice right on his birthday and I was yelled at. That cashier : "look at her! She ordered a huge birthday cake and fighting for a free slice!" I was fighting for justice: (1) I didn't come just for a free slice -- I ordered a cake; (2) I asked about promotion, informed its for the child, they didn't check if it's working even though I asked but let the child to choose the cake; they could just give it as a compliment since it was already in a bag... I regretted I ordered a cake there. Never ever I will come back to this location with such service even though I was the one who was coming almost every day! They should learn how to POLITELY talk to customers. It's not about food, a restaurant/cafe is first of all about hospitality. The place has a great spread of everything you could enjoy like pastries (Korean and non Korean) and breads, coffees, drinks, sandwiches, and cakes. The location on Lexington Avenue between 85th and 86th is perfect bc the subway runs right to 86th street and Lexington avenue. You have tables to sit and enjoy and people watch. The bakery has so much good stuff you will want to try everything. And they are light and fluffy and not too sweet. The only thing I was very disappointed with is that there is no designated handicapped table so someone in a wheelchair would have to sit without a table to eat on despite their limited use of hands and body. Paris Baguette on Lexington near East 86th Street is my favorite location. I've been visiting here since they opened years ago. It's always clean. These days I enjoy sitting at the counter near the window. I'm away from others. I usually get a pastry or coffee and eat and run. I can't say enough about the delicious delicacies they offer. I've tried various and there's always something new. My current favorite is the Everything Croissant with cheese inside. It's so greasy and yummy! I've never had a problem with customer service. They are well trained employees efficient and neat in appearance. They have free WiFi. I'm raising their stars to Five. read more

They provide candles and cake cutter, which includes matches in the handle I found kinda cool. The cake overall was delicious, but the cookie decorations on top were stale so we ended up throwing all of that out. Don't know if it's because it's been sitting around or something else. I took a chance recently and went in here because I was tired of Starbucks and was pleasantly surprised. I always assumed that it would be super overpriced, but I think the prices are quite reasonable and you are truly getting fresh, delicious drinks and food. I got a medium latte with caramel and it was under $6. It was fresh and I savored it slowly. I've had chocolate croissant and croissant with ham, egg and cheese. There are plenty of seats and you can get great sunlight. The bathroom was decent. I saw a few people doing some work on their laptops and I was able to make some work calls.
