These aren't crêpes -- they're soggy, flavorless pancakes pretending to be French. When I asked if the dulce de leche was homemade, the owner first said yes, then admitted she buys it and added evaporated milk- before I could say anything. The result was cloying and unbalanced, not at all authentic. The crêpe itself was inedible -- limp, watery, and fell apart before I could even eat it. I live ten minutes away, so there's no excuse for it to be in this condition. The packaging made things worse: flimsy paper that soaked through, impossible to cut on, and messy to handle. It's unfortunate, because the owner tries to be pleasant, but the product is so poorly executed it ended up in the trash after two bites. $10 wasted on something that shouldn't even be called a crêpe... this is Soviet era cooking masking as a French offering. Really cute little place! I didn't even know it was here until I was trying to find some new places in the neighborhood and stumbled on it! It feels super nice and cozy, and reading the reviews, it seems like it's a family run business, which is really lovely. I came in with my friend, each of us ordering a crepe, and they offered to cut both in half for us to share, which was so kind. I ordered the fruitella, and you actually get to choose what fruits to include in it. They only had raspberries and blueberries at the time, so I got both! I loved the addition of walnuts, which is something I haven't seen before in a crepe. It added a nice crunchy texture amidst all the rest of the chewy elements. I just wish there were some more options for the savory crepes that included more toppings than just cheese. Really great little crepe store, though! read more

All of my experiences at Increpeable have been positive! The crêpes and beverages are all very good. I've only ordered sweet crêpes, but I will have to try a savory one next time and report back. They have a hibiscus iced tea that is phenomenal. Today I ordered the Matcha and it was enjoyable. I opted for a simple crêpe with cinnamon, sugar, and butter. Stopped in for a quick bite while running errands. So many options pack into a tiny space and finally decided on the spinach and scallion crepe with iced tea. The crepes are made fresh and along with your requested filling. Lots of bright, fresh flavor and the crepe was light and cooked perfectly. The iced tea is a house blend that includes bergamot, cardamom and six other spices. So delicious, I hope the owner considers selling the tea by the pound. read more

Increpeable was an accidental find when I went to the health food store. I was going to eat when I got home but after I saw how accommodating the owners were I decided I would try one. This is a Mother and her son family owned business. The batter is made fresh daily. When I saw that I could create my own crepe with the ingredients I selected I was very happy. I had a crepe with cream cheese, with tax it was only $7.62. They take cash and credit cards. The mother prepared my crepe while I took a seat at the counter. Oh my was it delicious and filling. Before I knew it I wolfed it down! I definitely recommend you visit. We certainly need a crepe cafe in our neighborhood. It's been years since the last one on 86th Street closed. I really wanted to like this place but the hours and service are poor and the food selection is limited and not freshly made. None of the ingredients in the crepes is cooked on site, and the extent of the cooking is microwaving canned or refrigerated items, including cheese, canned mushrooms, or powdered mashed potatoes. Everything has dairy, there is nothing available on the menu to order if you have dietary restrictions or special diet. The snacks for sale are expired, and there is a lack of drink selection. No idea how these people have stayed in business unless they are independently wealthy or it is a hobby. read more

INCRÊPEABLE was an amazing restaurant. My class had a busy schedule, and we didn't realize what time they opened, but they opened early just for us; they were very understanding. They had great service, were very nice, and the crêpes were incredibly delicious, especially the Lemon Zest Fest sweet crêpe. This is a restaurant that I would definitely recommend going to. They offer a wide variety of crêpes, including Leaf Me Alone (tomato, basil, etc), Lemon Zest Fest (whipped cream and lemon curd), and even a pie crêpe with berries and whipped cream!
