Food is usually good. However as of late it seems to be slipping. I used to love this place and usually always recommend it but unfortunately my most recent experiences have not been good. The last three times I've either had bad food, bad service and recently I had both. The bar is an older professional crowd and closes way too early. The attitude here is a too arrogant. My last three experiences would be closer to a 2.5/5 stars. However, I still give it four stars because I've had so many great dishes here in the past 50 or more experiences. I've been here a lot. I hope they can get it together and eat some humble pie and focus on the food and service again. read more

So I've been eating here on and off with a good friend of mine for several years now, and have never been disappointed. Today we met from Sunday Brunch, and it was delicious. I started with a bloody mary. Served in a red wine glass, it was a smaller portion than we city folk are used to, but it was nicely seasoned and served its purpose. Had I not been driving, I would have had another. For an appetizer, we tried the cerviche. A fruit cerviche with some light sweet tuna, it was a lovely mix of watermelon, pineapple, apple, scallions, and fish. It wasn't tart, and needed salt, but was innovative, light, and a perfect option on this brilliant sunny day. My one guest enjoyed a bowl of their multi-grain soup. Better tasting than named, it was a blend of lentils, barley, seasonings, chicken sausage, and was deemed delicious. I had the Shrimp and Grits for my main course. Packed with perfectly cooked shrimp, the fresh grits were jersey corn sweet. Seasonings included a bechamel cheese and various spices, but the winner for me was the lovely drizzle of Worcestershire and thin cut scallions. This was simply the best dish of grits I've had north of Georgia, and the blend of seasonings and generous portion of shrimp made me feel like I was brunching in the Big Easy. Best brunch dish to date, anywhere. The lobster benedict was thoroughly enjoyed, as was the peeky toe crab omelet that my other guest ordered. The omelet was served with some toasted raising bread that looked heavenly. The menu includes selections of pizzas that are baked to order in their wood fired oven. There's also a pasta dish of the day in similar fashion to the omelet of the day. Desserts are similarly delicious, although we all passed on this occasion. Service was prompt and friendly. Food is fabulous here, made to perfection. Lobster Eggs Benedict is one of their highlights and always Excellent, the Crab pizza was Yummy as well! Nice location in quaint town of Skippack and the restaurant has an interesting decor with multiple levels and multiple bars. Look for the rooster sign while driving through Skippack. Servers overall have been snobbish and this has been a put off, sad to say but treatment maybe individualized based on customer demographics. It's almost as though they've been trained to have an air of arrogance to further the French cuisine experience :) The former General Manager set the bar very low with horrible service and the reason for my lower rating. I'm updating this review as we've had several great experiences with phenomenal service since my comments above with the new Manager Jay who has clearly redeemed the service levels amongst staff and is humble and great with kids. read more

I've been to Parc Bistro many times and each and every time it's been delightful. I'm remiss that I've not posted this before. I can't wait to get back for the Eggs Benedict, a favorite. This post is to respond to the unjustified rating two weeks ago by what appears to be a newly on Yelp, R B. who rated Parc a one star because of his dog. I know for a fact this restaurant is dog friendly for friendly dogs. There must have been another reason that prompts this, maybe a not so friendly dog owner who wanted to make his own rules. Brian I think touched on this. An owner who is always at his restaurant and it shows. We've been here many times before. I even pointed out to the young waitress that we were here the first month it opened, since there were very few decent restaurants in the area in the 1990s. We even had our Company Christmas party here with over 20 guests. But I guess through the years we forgot we pretty much settled on only the pizza. When my sister-in-law suggested to us we go back after her having the trout, we were excited. Trout was not to my liking at all. The only thing good was the grits and spinach. The sauce was awful. Sweet. Yucky. It was not what the wright up said. The fish was unappetizing. Presentation poor. With two giant pieces of grey trout piled onto the grits in a "diner" type meal. What the pecans were doing I don't know. The chefs taste buds are not on spot here. So my wife had the scallops and I could not down the super sweet weird flavor that the poorly made scallops were floating in. We guess the scallops come in some portion control and frozen, they were not dry when made. Our guests loved the veal chop. The stuffing soufflé was really great. The special desert was red velvet cake. Whoever made this needs to be reintroduced to Betty Crocker. It was unsuitable. Awful. Hard nasty. Tasteless. Bad bad recipe. I would easily say 50% of the meal should've been turned back. It will be a long time till I'm back. And I tend to give four stars and five stars to each review. It is seldom I criticize. Opposite to theses poorly developed dishes that would be chopped on the first show if the chef even would compete, the appetizers were good. But again, my company complained that the oysters are bathed in some kind of weird sauce that shouldn't have been. We all wondered out loud why it only had 36 reviews, and the latest photo was 10 months ago. I consider this to be a more upscale dining location in the area. My boyfriend and I decided to try walking in for dinner last night and were told it would be an hour wait without reservation. Our phone number was taken, we left and came back. When we returned we were told a table had opened up - but why weren't we called? Anyway, the location itself is very nice and toasty with a fire at the entryway. We sat upstairs for dinner. The restaurant gives off a very upscale-home vibe. The menu is predominantly salads, steak, seafood and wood-burning oven pizza. My steak and loaded mashed potatoes were divine, but I could have done without the duxelles. The service was quick and attentive. The diners here are predominantly older and more sophisticated. While this location isn't "dressy," definitely wear a more chic, less casual attire. read more

This is probably my 20th time here, We live an hour away, so yes we love this place. Here's my review for tonight.. Although they currently do not accept reservations we were seated right away. We ordered deviled eggs and shrimp cocktail for appetizers both great, we always get the shrimp cocktail because it never disappoints, I recommend when you eat this,....eat what they give you, so eat the shrimp with the cocktail sauce and the chip and the micro greens, its quite an awesome bite. I ordered the Salmon and my husband ordered the filet. My salmon, absolutely spot on, the flavors were great! My husband however did not like the filet, he said it had a weird taste. For dessert I ordered the peach tart and my husband the blueberry crumble. Peach tart was good, the peaches were the star, didn't even need the crust. My husband ate all of his blueberry crumble and loved it. So to close I will say I had to ask for a martini when my glass was empty, we weren't offered coffee with dessert, the girl who delivered our food was not friendly at all, felt slightly rushed literally we had one bite of complimentary bread and our appetizers were there within 1 minute of ordering! read more

Hands down my favorite restaurant in the area, and I'm a foodie who is pretty picky. The outside seating area is fantastic in the warmer months. One thing that I really love about Parc is that, even though they do not have a kids menu, they were very accommodating when I was there with my kids and made them things that were not in the menu. I met an old friend for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had not seen one another for a long time and had a ton of catching up to do. I've been to this restaurant for lunch several times without a problem, but this was my first dinner visit. Our reservation was for 5:30pm. We did get busy talking. The waiter (Greg) asked us several times if we were ready to order. We both noticed he had an "attitude", but decided to be extra nice to him. Maybe he was having a bad day? We told him we would find him when we were ready to order. We had a few drinks and chatted. Eventually, we ordered our dinner. He continued to be cold but not, at this point, rude. The food was very expensive and the servings were tiny. I would say the fish I ordered was fresh and moist but had very little taste. His was just okay too, but not worth the cost. We were never given a time limit, nor did we see anyone waiting for a table. We did stay a long time, but AFTER we paid the bill, and left him a full 20% tip (why?), he approached us and told us our party was OVER and it was time to leave. He did NOT say it politely, but with all the disrespect he could muster. I was highly insulted. He made a comment about the length of time we were there. When he told us to leave, there were still customers in the bar. We had finished our meal and we just chatting. Would have been fine if asked to leave in a respectful manner, since they were closing. We asked to see the manager, who didn't show up until I asked a bartender to please get him for us. He was worse than the waiter! His name was Brian and when we relayed our experience, his response was, "What do you want ME to do about it?" I was flabbergasted! Here we had spent $150 for dinner, tipped this rude waiter and this "MANAGER" continued to insult us, telling us it would be fine with him if we never came back! He refused to give me the owner of the restaurant's name. Another employee there apologized for the way we were spoken to, and gave me the owner's name but I have not been able to reach him. I would not advise going there for dinner and if you do go, and Greg is your waiter, move to another table! read more

I came here for some noms with my lovely lady. We were having a good meal the food was very excellent, when ALL OF A SUDDEN out of NOWHERE, this busboy shows up and fills my water WAY TOO HIGH! Literally at the rim of the glass. Now I'm a nervous wreck because I don't want to spill it all over my food or on myself. I mean, I wore a nice shirt! Very disappointed!!! I ordered the only sandwich that was a "special" on their lunch menu. I was shocked when I got it as were the others in my party. It was literally a few layers of greasy BACON about 2 slices of grilled apples a smother of goat cheese and very little soggy shredded lettuce on a roll! It also came with about a forkful of salad with a couple of strawberries in an awful white dressing. I took one bite and that's it! T try Ge waitress asked if I wanted it wrapped. Are you kidding? Six of us enjoyed a beautiful pre-summer al fresco dinner at Parc Bistro last night. Cute place, decent parking. Fairly large outside dining area with plenty of tables. Christine was our server and she was fantastic. Very attentive, pleasant and knew the menu and specials quite well. Shrimp cocktail was great - the cocktail sauce was no stranger to horseradish and boy, was it good! My husband had the beet salad and he enjoyed it along with his duck entree. Which brings me to my entree, the blackened scallops over a tasty sweet potato puree. One of my friends also ordered this entree and her scallops were done perfectly - mine were black as night. As if two different cooks prepared the two dishes. Christine offered to redo my entree, which we did and the second dish was perfect. Just find it odd (hence taking off one star) the missed quality control on two identical dishes. The wines by the glass were a decent selection, the other half of our table enjoyed beer and dirty martinis. No dessert but the coffee was a nice end to the evening. It took very long to get our food. When my father asked the waitress when our food would be out her reply was "You'll get it when you get it, and she walked away. February 2017 was the first time I came here for my uncle's 60th birthday celebration. I'm not in Skippack very much at all, so I've never been in the area to know much about this place. I liked the interior design of the restaurant, a d the food was decent too. Nothing too mindblowing for me but it was far from the worst. I particularly enjoyed the beer and the brownie sundae, two staples of any good occasion!! Even if the good for the event was already covered it did seem pretty pricey, and I'm not sure if I'll be back sometime down the road. For now, I'll enjoy the awesome time I did have here! read more

Planned on meeting a few friends at Park bistro for dinner arrived a little earlier than the rest of my party went to the bar was not intimidated at all it was very good service and nice ambience continued on to dinner with my friends when they arrived we had a cozy little table and enjoyed trying to choose one of many things from the menu and once chosen was delighted served perfectly seasoned perfectly it really was an interesting and delicious meal my friends all had different things so it was a little sampling of this and that so I know what I may order next time we go and I plan on trying it for lunch with a few of my lady friends and I think it would be a great place to have a long overdue conversation to. Last night my best friend and I were excited to try a new place together. I went there last year and had a not so great experience at the bar but thought why not. We sat at the bar and it took the bartender while to come over but when he did we ordered one drink each. Now my drink was one of the best I've had but that doesn't account for the bartenders rude behavior. We ordered some appetizers and talked. The food was good no complaints there but when your glass is taken and your not asked if you want anything else along with the fact we heard several "locals" saying they text him to make sure they were open we should have known. After asking for a box for the food because we didn't want it sitting out in front of us we were immediately handed the check. We both looked at each other in surprise and said well I guess we are leaving. We sat at the bar talking not loud and being polite to him so we didn't understand why he was so rude to us and so friendly to everyone else. So if your a regular you will be treated excellent if your a first timer forget it take your business someplace else but he doesn't go out of his way to be friendly. the entrees here are pretty solid and it's a nice atmosphere but i will say their pizza is very hit or miss. this time was a miss when i found out that their idea of margarita pizza is the exact opposite of what margarita pizza should be. full cheese pizza with a few little bits of chopped tomato sprinkled around. probably not even one half of a tomato in the whole thing. it must have been someone's first day. won't be my last time trying so high hopes for next time. read more
