This small shop is easy to pass by but is a great choice for dinner. When we visited, an older couple was running the shop - are they the owners? Not sure, but they have a nice rapport. They have an extensive menu but we ordered one item, the veggie pesto pie. The medium pie is a generous size; the toppings were rich and delicious, and well-balanced. A thin crust that was crispy and chewy, just right. I don't know about their other pies but I'd definitely order this one again! Worth a visit for sure. read more

This is the best pizza for kids. We get a cheese pie and their amazing breadsticks. If you are looking for gourmet flavor this isn't it. If you are looking for a good consistent pie with a crust that is not too thick not too thin, sauce that isn't overpowering and a nice layer of cheese this is the place. The za sits lightly on the stomach and the bread sticks and red sauce top it off. I appreciate the low key aesthetic and ambiance of the place and fast service when I call in an order. The price and quality have made this my go to spot. read more

We ordered pizza and wings and everything looked good until I started eating the salad. I found a couple of hair in my salad We had no problem with the food, just hoping that whoever is making salad should be wearing some sort of hairnet. read more

Paranormal Pie - Pizza Near Me - Seattle, Washington

This is solid, classic, American pizza, plus a few options with a Lebanese twist. It's not artisan, or gourmet, or anything you're going to see written up in an in-flight magazine. It's the neighborhood pizza place and the reason. My experience: take-out was easy, most of the problems reported in other reviews look like issues with GrubHub. Big fan of the Florence combo and the baklava is great. read more

My east coast husband is picky about pizza but this one got his approval which is no small feat, it is also in our budget and they deliver to our house so Im sold. Bonus points that the delivery guy has been the same each time and is super nice. +extra points for them breaking their $25 min for delivery when our sitter called for pizza because they remembered our house after only 3 prior deliveries. Thank you. read more

I'll start by saying we did delivery. The pizza was good and I'd def order it again but not my favorite. We got the deep dish with meat which was fine, just not great. The sun-dried tomato and artichoke was just fine as was the veggie pizza. It's close and convenient, but I would not go out if my way for the pizza. read more

This place is amazing. Pizza and pastas are always great. We typically get the meat lovers. The owners are so nice as well. We will definitely be back read more

My housemates and I ordered the veggie pesto pizza. It was great and a large size was enough to feed 3-4 people.

My boyfriend was craving "comfort food" pizza and I have been looking for a place to get deep dish pizza around south seattle. Luckily, I found this place! We ordered the deep dish meat pizza. TASTE? It hit the spot. Definitely a comfort food. Layers of 5 different meats and cheese. (Sorry for the blurry photo. I tried but... couldn't wait to take a bite). It is best when it is hot and freshly cooked. Took 20 minutes for it to prepare but really good. Paid around $21 with 6 giant slices. Every slice was layered and very filling that I only finished 1 slice. My boyfriend had 3. Can order To-go or in-house. Offers delivery but check if they deliver to your place. I believe they have longer hrs over summer. PLACE? It is local. Small place but feels homey because the chef is very friendly. The chef seems to speak limited English but I received friendly and prompt service. There is only 1 other person helping out at the counter so it may take them longer during busy hours. PARKING? Street parking. You can park at Safeway or nearby stores as other options. It may be challenging to spot it when driving. But just use your GPS. TIP: If you are ever creative enough, you can ask the chef to make a deep dish upon request. #definitelycomfortfood #local read more

I ordered the gyro pizza and loved it. However I ordered a large portion of chicken wings and was surprised to find out they were all deed fried in a ton of dough. They were like dough balls with a little chicken in them. I couldn't eat more than one. read more

Rude staff, pizza ok. But when u see ladies harassed and other customers u don't want the pizza anymore.

Welcome to Rainier Beach! We needed a good, everyday pie and this is it! You owe it to yourself to try out some of their original pizzas. I had a Gyro Pie, and it was amazing. The owner is a great guy and approachable, we've been to some of his other places and jumped when we found out he's down here now. We'll be back to try the Halal pizza soon! Note - They also have the normal pie / deep dish pies, but ... live a little and try the specialty pies. read more

OH MY GOD, absolutely amazed! First time I ever got food from here and I ordered off UberEats. I'm so happy about this, I can't believe I never ordered from here before today! I had a create your own pizza: side of blue cheese, Alfredo sauce, Bacon, Red onions, and Mushrooms. (I rolled a D20 dice like the nerd I am and picked based on the # of the items on the list) The crust is thin but so soft, not break my teeth crunchy, the sauce is flavorful but not oozing out from under the cheese (perfect because I'm at work using a PC constantly and don't need greasy pizza sauce on my keyboard and mouse. Yuck) the toppings are so abundant every bite has amazing flavor and the slices are so huge! I even ordered a side of Dolmas which I scarfed instantly (Packaging left a bit to be desired as it didn't travel well, there was tzatziki sauce all over the container and paper bag) Tasted amazing as well, and after the dolmas and one slice of pizza I'm stuffed. (That's saying a lot because I'm a big girl lol) I'm going to tell the entirety of my friends in Wa state to try this pizza, I don't care how far they have to travel for it, it's totally worth the commute! Who ever you are making these pizzas, keep up the phenomenal work! Sincerely, A very satisfied customer, Tricia. read more

Pepperoni pizza was amazing! And the large is huge! You really get your money's worth. My new go to pizza spot! My wife and I love their stuff, it's honestly just way too delicious plus it's all halal, perfect! read more

Paranormal Pie is one of Seattle's best kept secrets. I've been a connoisseur of pizza for my entire life and make a point to try the best pizza every time I visit a new city - Paranormal Pie is up there with the best. All it takes is one bite; The freshness & quality of the ingredients is made obvious. The staff are friendly & fast. Every time I've called in an order, its coming out of the oven right when I arrive. Paranormal Pie's Meat Deep Dish pizza is literally out of this world. Thick, handmade crust covered with ample cheese and the perfect amount of sauce. Its square shape takes on the appearance of Detroit-style deep dish at first glance, but eats much more like a stuffed slice of Chicago's finest (with a softer, doughy crust.) However, this deep dish is unique in the sense that it's crispy from both the bottom and top - The thin top layer of cheese is baked to a crisp that gives you a satisfying crunch from both sides with every bite. If you're a pizza-lover in South Seattle like myself, I can't recommend this place highly enough!! read more

Best. Pizza. Ever. Thin, firm crust, generously sized, and a menu that includes traditional Italian, vegan, halal, middle eastern, Greek, and build-your-own. Sides offered vary from dolmas to wings to baba ghanouj to falafel. Italian pasta dishes are available. Salads? Caesar, Greek, American spinach with cranberry and walnuts, and more. Wraps: gyro wrap, chicken pesto roll, meat ball rolls. Dessert: baklava, anyone, or tiramisu? It's all here. Order from home, pick up, or have your feast delivered. read more

Great pizza! Full halal menu! And the older lady behind the counter is always so nice.

These are good people making really good food. The DeepDish pizza is outstanding and the crust is super good. I love going to places that aren't corporate and boring. The salads are big and fresh and you can really taste a difference in the quality and the love that these people put into their food and cooking. I feel really good about supporting local small businesses like Paranormal Pizza. read more

One of the best pizza places in town, always hot and fresh. Never had a bad experience here. Friendly folks and food service to boot.

Got a hankering to get a whole pie and eat it all day long. Lo and behind a new pizza place opened up nearby. Yes. Good friendly service. Seem to have a passion for pizza. Taste and looks wise it's very similar to Pagliacci, which is just great with me. I want to try that gyro pizza next. EDIT: GET THE GYRO PIZZA Also they have baklava. read more

Great tasting pizza for the price! It's a deal while in Renton. Also Baklava was great!

I have driven by this place in what another reviewer called a "sketchy" stretch of Renton Avenue. The name is intriguing. Paranormal. What could it mean and what does it have to do with pizza...other than alliteration? I found a parking spot out front and approached the tiny pizzeria. There is no menu posted out front, so I entered. The choices are on a large colorful readerboard. There were two guys sitting at a table in the corner and nobody behind the counter. Other than those two, it was empty. Dark and empty. One of the guys launched out of his chair and inquired "How did your day go for you?" BIG SMILE that did not seem sincere. I was looking at the Greek Salad choice...wondering what it would be? You never know. Especially, in a pizzeria...because pizza is Italian. I was taken aback by the overfriendly demeanor of this guy because I know he's never seen me before and doesn't truly care about "my day". I was reminded of the old sdage.... "Familiarity breeds contempt." So, I responded. "It was average. How was yours?" With more of the huge fake smile, he enthusiastically said..."Always fantastic!!!" I don't know what happened, but I found this whole greeting to be totally off-tbe-mark. No one has "always fantastic" days! Creepy and phony! I detested it! I couldn't imagine staying another second and enduring even ordering a toothpick from Mr. Phony Effusive. Perhaps this is the paranormal part? I dunno. I left. read more

My mom and I stopped here because it was the only pizza place in the area that was on Maps. This is a SLAM-DUNK restaurant. We got a cheese pizza and a calzone, and they were both the best that we've ever had. They have a wide array of dishes that look so delicious. We'll definitely be returning. read more

Really cool guys! Gave me and my little girl free bottled water on our first visit. Service was great. We came at happy hour and they gave us a discount on our pies. Location is not that easy to find but it's worth the drive. I ordered one of the special pies. The Kafta Kabab pie and my daughter ordered the cheese. Mine was awesome and my little girl loved hers. Good price and good eats. read more

My new place to get some great food . I don't really like putting out reviews out there but you truly deserve this .

I'm happy to report that all kinks have been worked out (and this update is woefully late). We've continued to order from Paranormal Pie regularly, and have never been disappointed. It's our children's favorite pizza, and we recommend it to everyone in the neighborhood. read more

Very good and very reasonably priced. Happy to have Paranormal in the neighborhood. The kafta pizza looked delicious. The falafel was great and a super good deal at $5.95. Loved that it is served in Lebanese bread vs. a pita!! read more

We just live right up the street and been meaning to try this place. Took my kids there for dinner tonight . As soon as we walked in the staff was extremely friendly, we ordered a cheese pizza (it was okay, I totally agree with another review, Dominos and their pizza were very similar ) As we sat down to eat, people were outside the barber shop next door and heavily smoking weed, which was then blowing into the restaurant. We left and ate home. Didn't want to have my kids around that and not into being around the especially at dinner. Staff asked why we were leaving and then said "we need to stay friendly", I asked them if we can shut the door and that was the response I got. I wouldn't order there again. I love Judes/Redwing/Maya's right next door! read more

Pizza was terrible, very bland, not much flavor, also didn't follow simple instructions. I ate half of it and toss it, decided not worth the pointless calories. read more

We had the meat deep dish pizza. The owners are very friendly and flexible, allowing us to pick whatever toppings we wanted. We stuck with the standard meat toppings and it was fantastic.
