Update: after finding a crack in the aluminum about 1-1/2 weeks after the fence was installed that clearly occurred prior to or during installation, Paramount has been completely ignoring my emails and giving noncommittal responses to my phone calls. Unfortunately for me, I paid in full before I noticed the issue and thus have zero leverage. The fence panel is not an expensive item nor would it take 1 guy more that 15 minutes to fix, so I have a hard time understanding why they would not just fix it and be done rather than risk a bad review. To be clear, I did not even make it to the quoting of my fence with this company since their customer service rep. Claudia was so rude. I tried to set up an appointment online, which was not working properly so I reached out through the contact us. Although the note states to email, Claudia called. Ok. I went over everything I wanted and needed with her. She asked if I had my plot of survey, I did not that was taken care of by the last fencing company in 2016. She called the village of South Elgin and confirmed the size of the fence and everything. However, when I spoke with her, she would request the plot of survey if they needed it. She emailed me back with the information about the fencing and that the survey was needed. I responded that she received it, correct? She didn't answer, so I followed up with her two days later and she said it was now up to the owner to receive a copy of the survey plot. If it is this difficult to deal with their customer service just to get a quote, I cannot imagine their services would be any better. Our neighbors hired Paramount to install a privacy fence along their deck, which backs up to the side of our property. I can't speak to the fence quality or pricing, but the fence installers completely trashed our landscaping, killing many of our plants by trampling them, breaking them, or seemingly ripping them out of the ground. We were not home to give permission to be on our property, so they shouldn't have even been in our landscaping at all, but we have them on our security camera parking in our driveway, leaving their trailer in the driveway, and destroying our plants. Where to start... 1st, they severed the electrical line to my garage and refused to pay for the repairs 2nd, during the estimate/pre work walk through I showed the salesman the latch we had on the current gate and "anything but this style" and of fucking course I got the same latch I had, 3rd, they didn't bring post caps for the gate, here we are 3 weeks later and still no fence caps,4th, they refuse to fix any of the issues(including the latch). We placed the order a few weeks later and the crew showed up by 8am on the set installation day. These guys work their tails off and know their stuff. By 6pm we had a 5' tall 300' traditional solid fence made with western red cedar. I went over everything with s fine tooth comb after they left and couldn't find a single flaw in their craftsmanship.
