Had a great experience here. The ambiance, menu, & staff were great. I have traveled to Europe and a lot of these dishes tasted authentic to what they serve in Italy and the Mediterranean. Great spot! read more

We had Kristen as a waitress and she helped us pick our perfect order! My boyfriend and I are gluten free and we LOVED the cauliflower crust as a substitution for pita bread! Highly recommend, ask for Kristen :) read more

My wife and I came here for brunch, because one of my foodie friends wasn't going to be able to make her reservation and asked if we wanted it. Ummm yes, of course! If it wasn't for her, I'm not sure if we would have came on our own. The location is EVERYTHING! There is plenty of seating, the decor gives me Miami and Cali vibes. Lots of natural sunlight. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries that was pretty good. The patty itself, could have used a little more seasoning. My wife ordered the Cacio e Pepe and their starter bread. She wished the pasta dish was bigger, but the bread made up for that. read more

We came here thinking we couldn't get a table and we were steamed on the patio and managed to get in for the soft opening. We were seated in a very busy dinner party atmosphere and as I leaned out of my booth to look for a sever, Pablo came by and assisted out every need. He was super attentive and the best staff someone could ask for. He suggested diesel on the menu that delighted out group! And we planned for dessert, which he timed appropriately. It was delicious. Fantastic pasta, perfect pizza, phenomenal pasta and the best beet salad (not a beet fan) I've ever had in my entire life!!! Highly recommend read more

[ 5 / 5 ] This place is BEAUTIFUL! The decor makes me feel like I'm a completely different city. Paradiso has an inviting, elegant feel to it! It is especially beautiful in the daytime because of all the natural sunlight!! [ 3 / 5 ] We started off with cocktails. Their most popular cocktail (the paradise soda) was very delicious and fruity but not too sweet. We started off with the oysters ($3) each. They tasted fresh and clean! We also had the italian sausage pizza! This was a pretty traditional style pizza and it was OK. We also had the gnocchi truffle pasta dish. This dish was overall underwhelming but still tasty. [ 4 / 5 ] The value for these dishes were OK! Pretty average pricing for quality and craft of ingredients! [ 4 / 5 ] It took a little while for us to be greeted, but this is pretty understandable since it is a new and busy restaurant. The server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu Overall, I would say that the atmosphere of this place makes the food taste just a bit better! The attentive and accommodating staff also plays a big part in the experience here!! read more

Paradiso is a really cool spot for date night or a night out with friends. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and instagram worthy. The outside patio is huge and equally as pretty. There is a small side bar you can grab cocktails in as well. It's lively and fun. It's walking distance from a few bars. read more

First time at this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. The scenery is beautiful and the food was amazing. We set outside which was perfect with the fall weather, the only issue was the flies but that not anything against the restaurant. The ambience and music was a total vibe. Our server was cool and knowledgeable. Again. The food was good and will definitely be back. read more

The experience today was pretty bad. We had guests in town and was excited to bring them to Paradiso. Bf's artist mom and her bestie from Europe, came for the weekend. Had a great am at the Arboretum. Went to check in with front desk upon arrival At Bishop Arts District.. there were 4 girls upfront. I smiled and waited, then went to ask if we can sit anywhere. Two were busy with another guest. I went to approach whoever's not busy. This one girl, dark blonde with acne all over her face looked at me funny for some weird reasons, and said it is a long wait of over an hour. We looked around and there were tons of tables in garden and several inside. My doctor bf noticed she was snobby with her! This girl does not seem to be interested in seating us nor want to advise if we can sit anywhere out in the garden. My bf and I recalled we were ok to be seated there on our own but she didn't bother to let us know if that is still possible! Poor customer service and surprising because we had nothing but a nice experience previously, several months ago. Something is wrong here with their hiring process, maybe.... This venue is full of so-called wannabe *instagram influencers but we were not dressed poorly. Coming from Newport Beach, Ca we couldn't care less of the latter but we did care that the hostesses, THAT particular girl was not welcoming. She said the wait was 1 hour when It's actually over 90 minutes! Smart move was to tell us to go to the bar or the option to sit outside the garden... Not sure we will be back here again, being the IT spot or not. read more

Honestly horrible. I've now been twice and definitely won't be coming back. Their food is literally the worst. I had crab shells in my pasta and obnoxiously large peppercorns. The food itself is very unpleasant with almost zero presentation. The only good thing we got was the hummus platter and the pizza is ok. My friend ordered a rabbit pasta and when they sat it down the waiter said "the bugs bunny" and said "I had to say that to make you feel bad".....it was appalling. The only thing they are good for is their ambiance and even that was lacking this past time due to all the flies we had to keep swatting away from us as we sat indoors. All around just really sad that this places food is so bad. read more

I got the Moroccan chicken and it was the most tender, delicious chicken I've had in a long time. Our server was very polite and kind. They brought us exactly what we needed & checked up on us. It was a beautiful place but the lighting was a little harsh for photos. Overall, it was amazing. read more

Great for Instagram. Good for service. Too expensive. Below par food and so so drinks.

Great food! Great atmosphere! The patio was nice and surprisingly cool in this Dallas heat.

We hadn't dined at Paradiso post CoVid Days. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, promptly seated, and our server Jamail stopped by to greet us in a timely manner. We came in looking for the infamous shoulder porchetta but the menu had changed, but the Chickpeas and Braised Pork starter recommended was a great substitute. The Hummus, Pita Bread, CousCous Salad, and Hazlenut Bounet were delicious. The Pappardelle with lamb ragout was just as I remembered! The most outstanding part of the evening was the attentive service and hospitality of the wait staff, support, and management. Ben the GM stopped by to check in on us as well as Jones who put together THE BEST Mezcal Old Fashioned I've had! All of this combined with the beautiful ambiance of the courtyard make it a difficult experience to top. Hats off to The PARADiSo Team! Bravo! read more

Yeah sure... great atmosphere. Super cute for all you influencers that want that cute date night picture! BUT, WHY DID THEY CHANGE THEIR CHICKEN DISH?! Paradiso was my favorite restaurant to go to for date night... now I regret to say that I only like to come here for casual drink. I can't find anything I like from their new menu under their new management. The new management is incredibly impersonable as well. Just miss the old Paradiso, even though it's such a new restaurant. NEW MANAGEMENT, please bring back the chicken. That was an absolutely awful call. read more

This is an extremely beautiful restaurant with amazing service. I honestly wanted it to be better than it was, but alas life does not work out that way. All the appetizers were delicious, even though the meatballs were slightly burnt. However, what I was looking forward to was the pasta. It was not horrible, but it also was not noteworthy. In actuality I'd only come back for appetizers and drinks, but not for dinner as it was a bit too bland. read more

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful when you walk in! It gives lushes thriving vibes from all of the plants and decor. I chose to sit at the bar with a friend and we were catered by a lovely bartender named Ted! He was absolutely charming! We asked for some recommendations based on our particular tastes. He suggested a Passion Fruit Mezcal Margarita for me, and an espresso martini for the other. Both drinks were perfectly crafted, and you could see that Ted has experience mixing delicious drinks! It was a wonderful evening! The customer service was excellent! Would go back for more drinks and sweet conversations. read more

Pro: beautiful environment Con: food wasn't great. Had the pizza and it was just okay. read more

Go during brunch not dinner. The service is noticeably different. However you can do dinner at the bar which tends to be consistently good.

It's a cute aesthetic place, fun to dress up and take photos at or celebrate a special occasion. The food is good but unnecessarily pricey. I had the pizza. The waiter was friendly. read more

As a Dallas foodie I was very excited to experience Paradiso in Bishop Arts area. Over the last few years the neighborhood has expanded tremendously with various restaurants and quaint stores so this was a must have on my list for my weekly dinner our night with friends. If I were to judge this place off decor alone, it would be a 5+ rating. The interior is beautiful and light and airy. The indoor plants and art give the atmosphere an amazing touch of sophisticated yet relaxing. The price was average based on other restaurants I frequent so no shock there, but Paradiso ended up give me Los Angeles vibes and not in a good way. More attention was paid to the Instagramable decor versus providing well though out food with superior tastes. 2 of the three pasta dishes were under cooked and I am not talking al dente but almost still raw. The pizza was ok but i've had better from Serious in Deep Ellum on a late night snack. The saving grace of the restaurant is the speak easy Botanist that is attached as well as the cocktails served in the restaurant. As I blog/tell people where to go in Dallas for social outings and entertainment, unfortunately Paradiso does not make any of my lists except for cocktails. Highly suggest if you like food with flavor that leaves you feel satisfied opt for grabbing drinks at the restaurant or Botanist to snag a pic or two then heading out somewhere else to dine. I am really disappointed I'm having to write this as i was excited to add this to my list of places where people must go however the truth is more satisfactory in this case. read more

1. The only 5 stars I am giving out is the ambiance. 2. We have reservation and waited 40 min for our table and the table stinks of damp rags. 3. There are flies flying around by where we were sitting. We certainly dont need the extra proteins. 4. All of us ordered pastas for dinner, but they are flavorless. read more

Kevin, manager at Paradiso is EVERYTHING!! Excellent customer service, friendly, hilarious, and makes sure all his guests are greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. Paradiso - Bars Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Absolutely loved the restaurant design and decor which was reminiscent of 3 Arts Club in Chicago - the open air building had central bar seating, small tables (only a few available for large groups so reserve early!) and patio seating. Came for Sunday brunch and got the soppressata pizza and cavatelli pasta, which were both simple and light dishes. I was disappointed that there wasn't much Italian sausage in the pasta, so the dish was a little plain. However, service was quick and I would probably come back again for a dressy brunch. read more

A friend and I came here for brunch. Don't get me wrong, this place is absolutely adorable but the food was terrible. The service was good. My friend and I got a bottle for mimosas. They have the option of different juices so we got pineapple which was good. The brunch menu is tiny and doesn't have many options. I got the brie toast. I was super disappointed when it came out. It's literally a piece of toast with cheese melted on it. Didn't even taste like brie. It came with a "salad" which was just a bowl of arugula lettuce. Overall the ambiance of this place is cute and the drinks were good but the food is just not worth it. I'd go back to try their cocktails and maybe the dinner menu but will not be my choice for brunch again. read more

I was super excited to go to Paradiso since it opened & it did not disappoint! I was worried since the reviews are pretty scattered, but the service I received was amazing! The food was good (including the fried artichokes that were described badly in another review). The drinks were the best part tbh! I mainly like to cook at home, so there are not many restaurants that "wow" me, but I would go back here for a meal. I think the service I received was better because I waited several weeks before going. Overall I highly recommend Paradiso b/c the interior design is very beautiful & the vibe is nice. read more

Went to celebrate my 50th and it was sublime! Literally everything I ate was delish! Faves include the oysters, hummus, artichokes, all the pizzas and the carrot cake was possibly the best dessert I've ever had. The service was spectacular and the decor is so lovely. Don't miss seeing the wallpaper in the women's restroom. It will make you smile. I will make this a frequent spot to celebrate all the big and small events! read more

The food is good! The service is great! It's pricy but worth it on occasion for the food, service and atmosphere! One time I came during a busy time with my niece and nephew, there was a two hour wait but they found a table for us immediately!! It was amazing! Great for a girls' night out too! read more

The best cocktail! Would love to come back for the food - really cool atmosphere in the Christmas season and fun if it's hot.

Girls night out was a wonderful experience at Paradiso. The interior is gorgeous, and the menu is delicious too. We tried the Stuffed Quail, the Wood-fired Beef Tenderloin, the Sesame Romesco Salmon and the Amatriciana pasta. The flavors were perfectly combined and the presentation was artistic. Our server was great as well! I had a Mezcal Margarita, and the other girls tried the Paloma Reina and the Life In Paradiso. Overall great experience, we will definitely be back! read more

My girlfriend and I came to Paradiso to celebrate our anniversary during our trip to Dallas to visit our friends and family. We were actually running a little late to our reservation but the hostess happily held the table for us a little longer (we were only 5 minutes late). When we got there we were given the option to choose between a table inside, outside, or a booth. When we did decide on a spot we definitely took a second to enjoy the music and general open and clean vibe of the outside and inside seating! The fountain in the center was definitely a favorite piece! My girlfriend and I had to sit and think about the menu items because it all sounded so good, but the waitress came over and helped us pick some food items to try! We settled on marinated burrata, cous cous and grilled shrimp, and soppressatta pizza! The burrata was INSANELY good and definitely something we will be trying to recreate in the future. I learned I'm not a big fan of cous cous, BUT the extras that they put on top saved the dish for me. The soppressata pizza was literally to die for but was a little flimsy. Overall: I'd come back any day with her or friends and recommend this place anytime we're in the BA district. read more

I loved the environment and decor of the restaurant! It was super brunchy-like, but funny enough, they don't serve brunch lol. I ordered the steak frites and side of broccolini, and they both did not disappoint! However, both dishes were greasier than I expected. So definitely order a cocktail or soda to help get the food down easier. Other than that, I enjoyed the food, environment, and staff is very friendly. read more

As always with new restaurants, the operations side can be a little sticky for awhile. I have visited Paradiso on two separate occasions, dinner, and then lunch. First off, the interiors are enough for you to visit. For a long time, I thought it was a wedding venue or extravagant green house opening at Bishop Arts and am so pleasantly surprised with a beautiful outdoor space people can enjoy. For dinner service, we ordered the anchovy pizza, a side of basmati, and the beet salad to start. Portions are smaller than what you typically would get at most Mediterranean/Italian but the prices are not bad. The food arrived in a strange order, with our side dish arriving way after finishing the pizza. Our server was incredibly apologetic and, as I stated, we expected the soft opening to be a little rough. Cocktails are on point, but were a little rushed so they weren't as finessed as seen in other people's images. When I went here for lunch, I called first for a reservation. The front of house employees are a little scattered and unprofessional. I was hung up on while I was talking (but when I called back she apologized that it was the phone not working), then my reservation was scheduled for the wrong day so when I arrived, they couldn't find my information even though I had a text confirmation. Luckily they could fit us in. Burger was excellent and cooked medium rare! Perfect! I wish they offered different cheeses because only having American cheese is weeeeird. Everyone at our table enjoyed the house made pita and pork appetizer and the olive appetizer. I really hope they get their service together soon. read more

Paradiso's atmosphere alone is worth all of the stars! The scene is sweet & perfect for any celebration, date night, girls night, or brunch. If you love a good cocktail this is the place to go. The steak frites is yummy, but the beef tenderloin is my favorite! My company this time around had the duck and was slightly disappointed, but word on the street is the pizzas are delicious. Hummus is great and comes with warm pita from their wood fired oven. We also tried the fried artichokes and couldn't get enough! Delicious. Lastly for dessert you need to try the Panna Cotta because it is truly a great way to round out the meal! read more

Was in Bishop Arts Saturday night and stumbled upon Paradiso. Beautiful restaurant that surrounds a courtyard with trees and a fountain. The restaurant was very busy and we only had to wait 15-20 minutes to get a table, while we waited we snagged a seat at a outdoor bar and tried a cocktail- Paradiso Soda. It was good. The food was good. I will definitely be back for more pasta & pizza! The peach desert was not good, or what I expected. Good job Paradiso! read more

Our family's Paradiso experience- My lil Brothers birthday family dinner was tonight... we had an excellent table on the patio, and immediately when seated we were attended to in a way that was very different than most experiences. Everyone was Amazingly patient with my 90 year old sweetest in the world but hard of hearing grandmother. And my sarcastic but charming father. The service was exceptional... our servers name was Theresa! She was nice, professional, sweet, funny, and on point... she made our families experience unforgettable! Can not thank her enough!! Alyssa, one of the managers checked on us multiple times, and there was a true genuineness in her care and want for us to have a good experience... also gave excellent recommendations! I Would... with enthusiasm recommend Paradiso to any and all! read more
