Came here to dine with a girlfriend after hearing all the buzz on social media. The interior and vibes are absolutely to die for, but other than the decor everything else just sort of felt flat. The hostess was a bit rude, the place was not busy at all and she sat us in the back corner where there was no airflow in the heat of Dallas summer. I politely asked if we could move and she said to give her a minute and walked away and continued seating others when there were plenty of empty tables open. The man serving seemed completely uninterested and not hospitable. As for the food, it tasted better than I had expected for a trendy "instagrammable" restaurant. I ordered the steak and fries and my friend ordered the shrimp salad. They were tasty enough albeit pretty overpriced for what you get. All in all I probably wouldn't come back unless a friend specifically wanted to go here.

Paradiso is a fun, kitschy joint in the most eclectic neighborhood in Dallas. The Bishop Arts hood feels more like you're in Chicago or New York because of the refreshing and welcoming diversity. Paradiso has a unique feel because it has as much well-designed space outside as it does inside. The patio area feels more like a garden than patio. Even in the crazy Dallas heat you'll find people eating or cocktailing al fresco. The bar area is beautiful. It's covered in flowers and fun European style furniture. The bartenders were knowledgeable and fun to hang with because they clearly enjoy talking about their craft. Nothing worse than a bartender that is too important to chat it up with their customers. I had a delicious signature recipe called Dreaming of Suze (pic 2). It immediately caught my eye because Suze is a staple in our bar. It's a yellow French bitter liqueur you don't regularly find out at restaurants. I've never seen anyone infuse it. They complemented Mezcal with strawberry-infused Suze, sage syrup, lime and strawberry puree served in a tall glass over ice. It was a nice summer recipe and one I will definitely try to recreate at home. My second was a classic old fashioned made with Basil Hayden bourbon (pic 4) It was delicious and well-balanced. If you're in Dallas and want a change of pace from the usual, go down to Bishop Arts and take in the eclectic flavor while enjoying all the shops, restaurants and some cocktails at Paradiso. Salute @thejohnnycocktail Oh btw, that plate is the most delicious and beautiful hummus we've ever had!! Dreaming of Suze Mezcal Strawberry infused Suze Sage Syrup Lime Strawberry Puree

The vibe was fun and whimsical for a girls day! We were greeted & seated promptly. The waitress was very attentive as were the other staff members. The food was just ok. I think we expected something Ana ing. We enjoyed our visit. The drinks were good just a little overpriced. If we go back we'll get the pizza. It looked tasty.

I've been here a few times for brunch and to have drinks. The setting is gorgeous (5 stars) - even prettier than the pictures. The vibrant flowers hanging from the ceiling and plants lining the walls make it festive and lively. The courtyard is a great option for spring days and for giving kids in your party a place to play. They have a few stand-out food options (like the hummus trio with their homemade puffy bread), but otherwise the food was good but not memorable. Sitting at the bar is a great choice for drinks but the bartenders can get really busy so don't expect immediate service.

This was my second time at Paradiso after a visit 3 years ago left a bad taste in my mouth. I had a terrible experience and honestly didn't feel a need to come back, but my mom wanted to come here for her birthday brunch yesterday so I thought why not give it a second chance. The other reviews are spot on in terms of lack of parking-- make sure you definitely give yourself enough time to park your car if you don't plan on using valet because Bishop Arts is honestly always busy no matter what day you go. This restaurant is a great photo op for the girlies! It's super beautiful and the decor just transports you to another place- you forget you're even in Dallas, it's so gorgeous. Our server only stopped by our table to take our food/ drink orders, but honestly, don't expect any great super over-the-top service here. It's nice and all, but no one seemed to be going above and beyond or even trying to provide a super memorable experience for their customers. I don't even remember our servers name. The food was good. We had ordered the Marinated Burrata ($18) with strawberry jelly/jam which was surprisingly a yummy combo. The sourdough was burnt though (lol) not "toasted" like described on the menu. For our mains, I got the Avocado Eggs Benedict ($19) and my mom got the Shrimp Salad ($24) and both were genuinely good! My mom's salad had a super refreshing vinaigrette ( perfect for a hot day outside! ) I was a little surprised to be honest, just based on my last experience. It was a nice time and the food was good. Restaurant and bathrooms seemed clean and organized. Service- don't expect much. Good place for a fun, cute, photo op brunch in Dallas.

Grapefruit crisp with avocado and cucumber. No clue what it was called.

My sister brought me here for my birthday. The staff didn't really acknowledge it but that's ok! It late on a Tuesday and we were sat immediately since they weren't busy. Our server was nice but didn't come by enough imo, and our hostess noticed and took our drink orders at the beginning. I will say that he was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. As always the space is beautifully decorated, with soft pinks and flowers flowing down from the bar ceiling. The food was delicious. I loved my pasta and how unique it was. Those thick noodles were cooked to perfection. My sister has a sensitive stomach and was happy that the pork chops were yummy AND didn't trigger her digestive issues. We didn't get dessert because the amount of food we ate was enough, but I told myself we can go back and enjoy it a different day. If it wasn't for the slow service it would've been 5 stars for sure.

We went here for my sister's birthday lunch and it exceeded our expectations! The food was great we ordered the burger with fries, pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad. The service was great as well and the ambience inside the restaurant was very nice. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return next time we're in the bishop arts area!

We chose Paradiso to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday, and for a first visit, it was an overall good experience with a few notable highs and lows. First, be prepared for parking. The roads are very tight, and I ended up using valet, which is an added expense but probably the easiest option. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere transported you somewhere tropical. The décor is vibrant, colorful, and perfect for taking photos. While waiting for the rest of our party (our reservation was for 10 but we ended up with 8), the hostess kindly explained that we would be seated once everyone arrived and invited me to wait either at the outdoor high-top tables or inside at the bar. I chose outside so I could take pictures. While I was waiting, a manager (I believe his name was Gustavo) introduced himself and offered to make sure my mom received a complimentary birthday drink. That thoughtful gesture immediately stood out and set a welcoming tone for the evening. Once our full party arrived, we were seated promptly at our 6:30 reservation time. I'm very particular about cleanliness, so one thing immediately caught my attention. Although the table had been cleared, the seats still had food residue from the previous guests, and the floor beneath our table had not been swept. I asked our server, Chelsea, if it could be cleaned before we sat down. Unfortunately, the request seemed to be met with irritation rather than hospitality, and first impressions matter. The menu isn't large, but it offers enough variety without being overwhelming. Since it was our first visit, I asked for recommendations, but our server wasn't really able to guide us through the menu. As a kosher pescatarian, I ordered the Striped Sea Bass ($31) along with the Dreaming of Suze cocktail ($16). The cocktail was beautifully presented, although I requested light ice and received a full glass of ice instead. I also ordered tea, but it lacked flavor and tasted more like water. The sea bass itself left me wanting more. While there were two fillets, they were quite thin and served with the skin on. The highlight of the dish was actually the chickpea minestrone underneath the fish, which was flavorful and enjoyable. I don't mind paying premium prices for a meal, but I do expect the food to justify the cost, and this one simply didn't quite get there for me. Service also played a role in my overall rating. Our server was polite but fairly mediocre and lacked the warmth and personality that elevate a dining experience. With automatic gratuity added for larger parties, I couldn't help but feel that the service didn't reflect the required 20% tip. I always tip, but exceptional service should accompany exceptional gratuity. The reason this review is four stars instead of three is Gustavo. His attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care throughout the evening made a lasting impression. Before leaving, I made it a point to thank him personally because great hospitality deserves to be recognized. While Paradiso probably isn't a restaurant I'll return to because it doesn't align well with my dietary preferences, my mom thoroughly enjoyed celebrating her birthday there and said she would happily come back. If you're looking for a lively, tropical atmosphere with beautiful décor that's perfect for a girls' outing or celebration, Paradiso is certainly worth experiencing.

I do not adventure into Dallas too often, but had to schedule a lunch in the area. Paradiso was chosen relatively randomly, but ended up as a good choice. Leo was wonderful in helping navigate the menu. The atmosphere brought me back the the brunch spots down in Miami. My salad was good, not too flavorful, but fresh and large!

Hailey F.

I would consider this place a great option for large dinner party as it is a large place and can accommodate for many people! I had the margarita pizza which was pretty good. I really enjoyed the ceasar salad which is large and shareable. I also had the hummus appetizer which was yummy! Comes with lots of veggies and bread to dip. Unfortunately they were having some a/c issues when I attended making the experience a little less enjoyable. Waiter was quick and knowledgeable.

Hiilei W.

We got recommended by this place by a nearby shop when we asked for recommendations at Bishop District. I'm so glad she did because this place was picture perfect. I felt like I was in another world, I was obsessed with all the colors. The food was good but a bit on the pricey side for pasta, shrimp wasn't good or breaded. I still enjoyed everything we ordered, even the bathroom had the cutest decor. The service was very nice and even got our birthday girl a little birthday dessert. No reservation during lunch time and we got seated immediately.

Bequer G.

Paradiso is one of the most colorful and cutest spots in the Bishop Arts District! We only got drinks on the patio and it was a great vibe! The perfect patio in town! The staff was real kind and helpful! Sad they had ran out of their frozen drink though! Will come back again

We had the best experience. Nadia was our server and took really good care of us. She made my girlfriend feel so special for her birthday. Food was amazing as well. We split pizza and Caesar salad. We added the lamb sausage to the four cheese pizza, which was amazing. Love the crust. The ambience was super cute and girly, maybe like a Miami or Tulum vibe. But really, Nadia made this experience one that we will never forget.

The look is great and all but the highlight of our evening was Ashley. I came here before and we tried their cocktails, and once again they didn't disappoint. According to our friends from out of town Ashley made their evening in Dallas one to remember, her and the server Emmanuel were very attentive during the evening. Our friends tried the steak Frites and couldn't stop raving about it! They accommodated my plant based diet but I hope they add some more vegan items in the future. The restaurant has a great vibe and so does the indoor bar/club attached to it. We ate dinner on the patio, which was nice however I saw several used forks and napkins littered under the patio tables. Almost like the cleaning crew wasn't paying attention. Additionally, the mens restroom wasn't clean- paper towels all over the floor, full trash can and a puddle of water on the floor. Def a cool vibe and a great location but they need to start paying attention to the details. The food was decent and service was better than normal. Nothing great, just a good atmosphere and ambience. read more

My daughter and friends visited the restaurant and I am ashamed at how they were treated. They are 16-19 ur olds and I guess the waiter assumed he wouldn't get a good tip. Well guess what, they were all taught to tip 20% except when that waiter treats them like trash. Ashamed at the staff including the manager who dismissed the feedback. Shame on you and your staff. My daughter had a pizza that 2 other staff spilled water on and and when she reported to the manger he dismissed her. Not a fan of this establishment. read more

I was beyond thrilled to have finally come check out Paradiso. Sal took great care of me, very knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive to my needs. The menu is Mediterranean influenced, with something for everyone. I recommend starting off with the oysters, by far some of the best I've had in Dallas. The butter leaf salad was perfect for a second course, not to small of a portion, and not too big. If you have room, you must get the cavatelli before you get to your main course. It comes with truffle and Italian sausage, what more do you want with pasta!?! I had the branzino for my entree, and it is everything I could have asked for and more. I am so pleased with the experience they gave me, from the staff to the ambiance and decor. This place is perfect for any occasion, and will not disappoint. I will be going back soon! read more

Wanted to love this place, but the food just missed the mark! ORDERED the Mediterranean salad for $12. I was shocked when I saw that it is the size of a side salad. It was clear that this wasn't enough food, so I ordered a Margherita pizza. My first bite had a burned taste. Thinking it may have been a burned spot, as I tried other bites, it was clear the other slices had it too. (Think it was residual burnt flour in the oven.) It is beautifully done on the inside and the patio is excellent, but if you want pizza and salad, go to Eno's down the road. read more

My wife and I went here for the soft opening. We went while there was very little business. They placed us at a table in the very back and it took the waiter 25 minutes absolutely not kidding to even give us water. When we were ready to order it took another 15-18 min to even place our order. To my surprise the food came out in a very timely manner, but my waiter did not show up to my table for the rest of the night. I had to flag down a buss boy to even get my check. The ambience and attention to detail with decor is amazing. It's the perfect place to begin and end the night. However, their attention to the customer must be increased in order for this place to reach the next level. This place was beautiful! I took my entire family~mom, dad, grandma, and hubby! Had an amazing time. The service was great and the food was awesome! I recommend the woodfire branzino... it was soo good! You can really taste the flavor the woodfire gives off. The fish was cooked perfectly as well. The only reason why I deduct 1 star is because my pasta felt a little dry. It was al dente but there was very little meat sauce and a few bites of my pasta were crispy. The best part about Paradiso is the atmosphere. The music is loud inside and the patio is a bit crammed but everyone is dressed up which makes it feel classy. The food is decent but for the price, not worth the hassle of waiting. I had a pizza which I enjoyed but it had very little toppings. The crust was nice and airy with a good crunch. Not shades of gray subjective relativism; rather YES, the harsh UNpopular B&W Absolute Truth. Thurs, 6/17/2021 - PARKING was very challenging, had to circle the square block a few times; ahh, life in the big city. Confusing ENTRANCE and the young redhead had no people, social skills, smile or even a "welcome". SERVICE: Sat ignored for over 10 mins until a waiter came. Young waiter was very impertinent by addressing me, over 2xs his age, with his slang of "Bro", (I had a brother who is deceased.) Changed to a waitress who was wonderful, friendly and professional. FOOD: NOT the best esp for the price point and targeted marketing demographic. The horrible beef was tough and rubbery, the broccolini had a disappointing taste with wrong seasonings. I was informed the artichokes were canned and NOT fresh. I very politely informed the manager and the tall alpha silent man; even caringly bestowed how to tenderized TOUGH mean with a tenderizer mallet, lime juice and salt overnight. The mod was gracious; however, the tall alpha silent man had a look of displeasure -- All goliaths fall, you have MUCH to learn about business. The GOOD was the mod and waitress were polite and professional, the humus was the only one very delicious food item, they use real butter and not margarine, the chocolate dessert was tasty but I have had far better, the cocktails were very good. I am most cogent and when I drop $110 on lunch in this Second Great Depression, the establish must perform and deliver. This restaurant gets a "C -" and this is so NOT a $100 plus restaurant. Benefit from my loss and go eat where the meat is soft and tender. Oh, the ATMOSPHERE and decor are beautiful. Best wishes. read more

This restaurant looks absolutely amazing, from a lovely bar to a stunning outdoor dining area. The menu is very confusing, when I visited their website I found 3 different menus: lunch, dinner, & brunch. When we arrived at the restaurant and scanned for the menu they did in fact have a lunch, dinner, & brunch menu but the items were completely different. The lunch menu we ordered off of only had about 4 starters, 8 sandwiches/salads, and 2 main courses. The menu was so confusing and it didn't say what was in each item just a fancy name. We started with hummus and baked bread which were very good but they don't give enough break for the large portion of hummus. I ordered a burger and fries, the fries very good but the burger was sloppy, buns were soaked, and only came with cheese and lettuce: NOT WORTH $16. My friend ordered a pizza which was very good but the crust was super salty. The staff was very slow and there was a owner/bartender who kept prowling around the restaurant looking very very angry (not sure why) he did not great a single costumer. read more

They always have great energy in their music, creative cocktail menu, and food. I had a tasty Sidecar variation called Between Da Sheets (photo 2). They added rum to the classic recipe of cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. The rum gave it a bit of a vacationy feel which was nice. It was well-balanced and quite tasty. We highly recommend checking out Atlas next time you're in Bishop Arts and want an elevated cocktail in one of the funkiest spaces in Dallas. Do it!!! Salute @thejohnnycocktail

It keeps coming up on "speakeasy" searches, yet, calling it a speakeasy because there's a bar in the back is honestly a stretch. The drinks are decent, and it's always crowded. There are two bars, one in the front and one in the back, but the back bar isn't consistently open, and whenever I've been, the door has been wide open with people packed around every bar and table. So the whole speakeasy mystique just isn't there. That said, it is Bishop Arts, so it's always a vibe. But between the crowd, the drink prices, and the fact that it doesn't really live up to the speakeasy label, I can't quite give it five stars.

Bar Eden Lounge at Paradiso

A Happy Hour Hidden Gem in Dallas!…read more We took a day trip to Dallas to see the circus and decided to pop into a nearby bar for drinks and small bites. Parking was a challenge, but we opted for valet and, at only $10, it was totally worth it! We originally planned to check out Bar Eden for happy hour but accidentally walked into Paradiso, which is connected. Bar Eden is a little smaller and has more of an intimate, speakeasy vibe, while Paradiso has a gorgeous, lively atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the happy hour specials were perfect for afternoon drinks--cocktails under $10! The margarita was delicious, and the other cocktails were just as pretty as they were tasty. One thing to know: it seems there's only one restroom, so the wait can be lengthy. BUT once you get inside, you'll understand why...because it's basically a girl's dream photo booth! Definitely plan a little extra time for the bathroom selfies. We didn't try the food this time, but the ambiance and music were on point. The outdoor seating is beautiful and elegant, although it was way too hot for daytime lounging during our visit. Overall, I'd absolutely come back--especially for happy hour! Great drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

We asked if we could pull up a chair to one of the tables on the patio (which was fully empty), and they begrugedly agreed. We sat down and waited. And waited some more. And then some more... After about 10 minutes my brother went up to the bar and asked if a server would be coming to take our order, and was told that they were busy (they did not look busy at all) but would get to us ASAP. Another 10 minutes went by and, as no one had still come to see us, we elected just to leave. They said nothing as we walked out of the restaurant. Aside from pulling up a chair on the (again, totally empty) patio, I have no idea what we did that could have made them so upset at us. The whole experience was really odd and super off-putting, particularly so as there was no communication at all from the wait staff.

So many mixed feelings about this place. Food is good & iv met chef Nick who is their Executive Chef. Great human & has a passion for food & his job & humans but he is one human in a pool of snakes. However management and Exxir hospitality as a whole I wouldn't support that company if my life depended on it. As a former employee who worked my way up.... The way they do business on the corporate level and management with there workers who are "under" them ... (with the acceptation of a couple good apples) Is not a place that is SAFE. As a Lesbian woman... I was sexually assaulted by management as well as sexually harassed and the General Manager James who is also the Director over Exxir disrespected me as a queer woman multiple times (saying things like "damnit I hate when woman like you are gay") an that was one of the more chill comments. James was extremely inappropriate during an interview with a friend of mine who was also a Lesbian and he was aware because he asked and was upset she was interested in a job and not him. He also Violated Several Federally Protected Human Rights Laws during her interview. He came to his interview in sweats, dirty tennis shoes, and a T-shirt that had dirty food dried on it. He asked her if she had a boyfriend or a girlfriend, if she dated boys or girls and why she needed a job; and if her boyfriend wasn't paying for her bills while she was in school. He already knew she was a lesbian. The lack of professionalism inappropriate questions and vulgar gestures was not there and it's honestly disgusting and made her feel extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention when we had an event in one of their spaces called Bar Eden him and the bar Director were sitting about 2 feet from me..... I was all alone as a woman with these two men. And James proceeded to talk about how he was railing a woman I won't use the word that he used to describe her. And then he was bragging about how he wished she would just die after he was done with her. It was disgusting, grotesque, and absolutely intentional to make the only woman sitting next to them, uncomfortable. He basically was talking about borderline raping a woman right in front of me and bragging about it on the clock giving high fives and fist bumps. I'm also not the only woman or HUMAN to experience this. However, because of the amount of money Exxir has ..... They just fired their staff left and right and their turnover rate is literally insane. People are afraid to come forward, but I sure am not. I think other people and other women need to know this is not a safe place to work and I wouldn't give my money to this company ever again. However, the bartenders, service workers, and the cook the people that are actually employed are some of the best people I've ever met in my life and have become some of my really close friends. It's so unfortunate that there is such a beautiful place with so much corruption & with such a toxic work environment. They are money hungry and cheap. They sweep things under the rug like sexual assaults , sexual misconducts etc.... just so they can keep making money. And I won't stay silent anymore so anybody can stay comfortable. I think the world needs to know so I'm leaving my review. I went to ownership when I quit and requested a meeting with the owner and president of the company and James is still employed and they are conducting business per usual. It's disgusting and toxic and unprofessional. read more

While on vacation on a late afternoon walking through the Bishops Arts District, I came across a magical place called Paradiso. I heard slight clinging of silverware, people in conversation, laughing and bubbling water singing in my ears. As I stepped through the gate I entered a large court yard, with a beautiful fountain decorated in blue and white mosaic tile, reminiscent of a Moroccan Riad. Three large trees whispered in the wind as a light breeze came through. I felt as though I stepped through a portal to the Mediterranean. I was summoned by all of my senses to what was to be an extraordinary experience. I was greeted kindly at the entry by Kim and walking through to be seated, to my left was a grand bar. The tenders were whisking and shaking drinks and chatting with the other guests at the bar top. The rays of sunlight shined through the windows above and casted picturesque shadows around by the greenery throughout. After being seated, without delay and in perfect timing, Holly walked up to our table introduced herself, welcomed us to Paradiso and gave us time to view the menu. With many fascinating selections, I decided on the seared scallops, but before that, I wanted to order a cocktail so decided on the Passionate Feels. It arrived in a coup glass, frothy top layer and garnished with a marigold. The flavors of anise, passionfruit and citrus tickled my tastebuds and it was one of the most tasty and beautiful drinks I've ever experienced. Our starters were fried artichokes that came with a ricotta cheese, oysters on the half shell and freshly baked bread. They were all to our greatest delight! The scallops arrive and were cooked to perfection. With the sweet, nutty and a slightly tart flavor, it satisfied all of my needs. Dessert was the Amerena cheesecake, spring berry medley and the chocolate torta. Absolutely delicious and beautiful. Throughout our dining experience, the staff was welcoming, attentive and professional. The managers Kevin and Michael even came by our table to enquirer about our needs and wished us well during our vacation from the Pacific Northwest. I believe our server Holly mentioned that we were from out of state and they personally wanted to welcome us. Thank you so much for your hospitality Kevin and to your staff for truly making us feel like VIPs as soon as we stepped through the doors of Paradiso. It was an amazing experience that we will not soon forget. read more

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Paradiso in the Bishop Arts District for my birthday, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Parking was a breeze, even on a Tuesday evening, which was a pleasant surprise given the area. The restaurant itself is nothing short of stunning--beautifully designed with a classy ambiance that immediately sets the tone for a special evening. Upon walking in, we were warmly greeted by a friendly host. We had a reservation for 6:30 PM, and I was impressed that we were seated right away with no wait time. The evening only got better from there. Our server, Virginia, was hands down one of the best servers I've ever encountered. She was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, going above and beyond to make my birthday celebration memorable. Virginia even surprised us with a drink she crafted herself, which was absolutely incredible. A special shout-out to the General Manager, Carla, who took the time to check on us and ensure we were enjoying our dinner. Her attention to detail really added to the overall experience. We shared the Soppressata wood-fired pizza, and wow--it was fresh, delicious, and came out piping hot in no time at all. We also ordered the Espresso Martini, and let me tell you, if you love this drink, you have to try Paradiso's version. It's easily one of the best I've ever had. All in all, Paradiso is now my favorite place to celebrate a special occasion. The combination of the amazing staff, the beautiful environment, and the outstanding food and drinks make it a 5-star experience in every way. I can't wait to return! read more

Paradisio: A Festive Culinary Haven Visiting Paradisio during the Christmas season is an experience. The restaurant was adorned with elegant holiday decor--twinkling fairy lights, lush garlands, and an air of cozy sophistication that instantly made us feel festive and relaxed. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We started with the rigatoni pasta, a dish that perfectly balanced comfort and finesse. The pasta was cooked to perfection, bathed in a rich, flavorful sauce that was hearty yet refined. The roasted potato pizza was equally divine, with a perfectly crisp crust, creamy layers of cheese, and a generous topping of golden roasted potatoes. The combination was both unique and satisfying, showcasing Paradisio's ability to elevate even the simplest ingredients. The drinks were equally impressive. The Old Orchard cocktail was a masterpiece--beautifully balanced with hints of apple, spice, and warmth, it felt like a celebration of the season in every sip. My partner enjoyed a glass of red wine, which was robust, velvety, and expertly paired with the meal. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were cheerful and knowledgeable, adding to the overall festive ambiance. Despite the restaurant being busy, the atmosphere remained intimate and inviting, making it a perfect setting for a Christmas gathering. Paradisio has truly mastered the art of holiday dining. With its exceptional food, inventive cocktails, and warm, festive charm, it's a place you'll want to revisit every Christmas. A perfect 10/10! read more

I came in yesterday (Mother's Day) with a local news anchor friend to Paradiso. It was quite the debate at first, as our group of four has had some mixed experiences in the past. The restaurant is always beautiful but in the past food and service has been inconsistent. We all agreed we would go and at the very least enjoy the people watching and the company. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Julian who came from out of the bar just to greet us at the door. It was surprising to see him there but everyone in my group smiled, because we know what Julian brings to a restaurant. After we were seated he checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable at our table, we all agreed it was the perfect spot and thanked him for asking. We proceeded to have the best experience we have ever had at Paradiso. Our server was superb and we even had one of the bartenders come take the time to discuss mezcals with us when I inquired about a list from our server. The two staff members later told us they followed Julian here and that they believe in his hospitality philosophy. You could see Julian's unique touch already spreading throughout the dining experience. Thank you Julian and team for making this the best visit to Paradiso. read more

Paradiso is a fantastic spot for family dining! Our experience with their dine-in service was lovely, though we had a bit of a wait (over 5 minutes) for a table, which made us feel rushed. However, the restaurant's lively yet manageable atmosphere and tasteful decor--especially the outdoor seating--set the tone for a great meal. The food was delightful, from the Pumpkin Pappardelle to the Steak fries, paired with quality wine and creative cocktails like the Mambo Sun and Sour Up. The portions were satisfying, and prices felt fair and reasonable for the quality. We were especially impressed by the staff's attentiveness and professionalism. They were quick, friendly, and responsive to our needs, making us feel welcome. The manager also deserves a special mention for their warm, friendly demeanor and genuine smile. The washrooms were clean and fresh-smelling, which added to the positive experience. Paradiso is an excellent, kid-friendly venue with plenty of free street parking, making it a convenient choice for families. I highly recommend it! read more

Paradiso is one of those restaurants that feels like an escape the moment you step inside. Tucked into the Bishop Arts District, it blends Mediterranean-inspired flavors with a dreamy, garden‑like setting that makes every visit feel special. The ambiance is easily one of its strongest features--lush greenery, soft lighting, and a stylish, airy design that sets the tone for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience. It's the kind of place where you can linger over a meal and genuinely enjoy the moment. The pizza at Paradiso is easily one of the standout items on the menu. The crust hits that perfect balance--lightly crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with just enough char to give it character without overpowering the toppings. Each bite feels thoughtfully crafted. Service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall ease of the experience. Paradiso delivers a memorable meal in one of the most charming settings in Dallas. read more

I found Paradiso on Instagram while looking for a place to celebrate my wife's birthday. The pictures looked amazing, so we decided to give it a try. When we got there, the place looked just as nice in person. It was a busy Saturday, so I get that things can be a little hectic, but the staff didn't seem very welcoming at first. Luckily, our waitress was really nice and took good care of us. We ordered pasta and pizza, and the food was delicious! We really enjoyed the meal. The only downside was that the place didn't feel very kid-friendly. Some of the staff gave off the vibe that families with kids weren't really welcome, which was a bit disappointing. Before we left, we asked someone from the staff to take a group photo, and he just said, "Yeah, I guess," which felt a little rude and kind of ended the night on a sour note. Overall, the food was great, but the service and atmosphere could definitely be more friendly. read more

I like to first start off by bragging about how gorgeous this place is! Natural light everywhere & very spacious. It has a beach & garden type of feel! It's lovely. Reminds me of being in MIAMI! I truly love this place, the menu is spectacular for a non vegan, meshing the Italian and American cuisine, its like a marriage. Although, the menu is limited for a vegan as myself, both chefs, Nick & Sergio go above and beyond to prepare any specialty request and that makes me feel a lil more loved. It's location is great, parking can be challenging but all worth the time at Paradiso. The best cocktail, you ask....just ask for the BELLA, you will not be disappointed; you will love it! In the future, I hope they consider having salsa dancing out in their big patio, they have plenty of room! It would be a hit, specially in Hot (salsa) Texas Summer Nights (wink). Every dish I've tried has been a hit, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. The service and hospitality are top-notch too. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. I honestly love everything about this place--the food, the ambiance, the people--and I'll definitely be going back again. Highly recommend for brunch, dinner, or even just drinks with friends. read more

I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent experience at Paradiso Dallas was beyond disappointing. The AC was broken on a day when temperatures soared over 100 degrees, making for an unbearably hot and uncomfortable dining experience. To make matters worse, the restaurant was plagued with flies everywhere. They placed a broken fly fan on our table that was not only ineffective but also a potential safety hazard. The steak frites were mediocre at best--the meat was a terrible cut and lacked flavor. Service was incredibly slow; we had to wait over 10 minutes just to get a drink or water refill. It felt like we were completely forgotten. Overall, this place was a letdown in every possible way. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

I took my wife for a dinner date and this was our second time in Bishop Arts because we're really new to the area. We decided to sit inside, but I would advise sitting outside due the warming atmosphere. I went with ordering a red blend for my drink of choice. I wasn't overly excited about ordering the "Orin Swift Abstract Red Blend California" but it was pretty good, big aromatic notes of cherry, and a large sweet presence. For my main I decided to try the "Confit Duck", which was very tender, lots of flavor, full, and greeted perfectly with a crunchier style rice. I will return with my wife again, the experience before the food was enough to grant a second visit. read more

On a recent visit to Paradiso in Bishop Arts, my wife, our cousins from Miami, and I were treated to a performance worthy of applause! From the moment we arrived, the hostess welcomed us with engaging conversation, setting the stage for a memorable evening. The ambiance was, as always, perfectly curated. However, it was our waiter who truly stole the spotlight. With a charismatic skit about the menu and drinks, he had us thoroughly entertained. His recommendations were excellent, and although he momentarily forgot my drink, he charmingly compensated by offering it on the house. All things considered, I'm delighted to award five stars to this visit! read more

Paradiso Restaurant in Dallas was the perfect choice for my birthday celebration! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and I was pleasantly surprised when the manager arranged for us to enjoy the sophisticated private dining room upon our arrival. Our server, Devin, was attentive, professional, and provided excellent food and drink recommendations throughout the evening. The entire staff was warm and welcoming and delivered outstanding customer service. They truly helped make my birthday celebration extra special and memorable. I would definitely recommend Paradiso for a beautiful dining experience or special occasion! read more

Second time back and absolutely love the ambiance and patio here. Worth writing a review. The chickpeas and braised pork is seriously one of my new favorite dishes in Dallas! YUM! This is a great spot to meet up with friends for drinks or have a nice dinner. Casual and approachable environment in a great neighborhood of town. This is a great spot for photos with friends. Parking is not the easiest unless I wasn't paying attention on the best place to park... perhaps during COVID there isn't valet parking? Can't wait to come back and dive into some of the pizza and pasta next time. read more

I ate brunch with two of my friends today. This is the first time I have been there. We all had the shoulder hash which sounded good on the menu. What a disappointment when it arrived. Small portion with very little taste. It advertised salsa verde on the menu included in the meal . The chef obviously does not know what salsa verde is. It's pricey for what you get at 14.95 The waiter was pleasant however never checked back on us to see how the food was . The restaurant is beautiful however the food is lacking ..... don't recommend and doubt if I would return read more

I had a fantastic brunch experience at Paradiso! The cocktail of the day was great. The passion fruit and basil smash was really refreshing and perfect for this texas summer heat it was one of the best I've ever tasted. The food was delicious, especially the cinnamon roll and the everything salmon pizza. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was excellent too - Shane and Joshua were friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend Paradiso for anyone looking for a great brunch spot! read more

Recently went to paradiso and was blown away with how good the food was. Not to mention, how cute the detail and decor is to this place. Some of the must try's are the oysters, the Italian sausage pizza, lamb ragout, and the strawberry cheesecake for dessert. Amazing cocktails and the wine list was fantastic. Paradiso is a must try whether it is for date night, night out with girlfriends, or when your family is in town. I fell in love with this place and will definitely be back! read more

I've been to this restaurant a few times before and, honestly, never fully loved it--but this last visit has me reconsidering. Our waiter, Julio, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and gave perfect recommendations for both food and drinks. He steered me toward things I wouldn't normally try, and everything turned out to be spot-on. The whole experience felt easy, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. It was the best meal I've had here by far, and I'll definitely be back. read more

We made a reservation a week ago and were super excited to go to this new restaurant. We originally thought this would be a great rehearsal dinner spot, so went to check it out today. We got there and waited for over twenty minutes without anyone talking to us. My fiancé had to stop someone to and ask if we could get a waiter. The restaurant was by no means crazy busy. We will not be using this as a rehearsal dinner spot or returning. Poor customer service. read more

What really turned me off was a list of NO's. This was a Baby Shower and the guest of honor wanted to invite about 14 people. The answer from the Restaurant was NO, we ended up having 11 people and were squeezed into a table for 10. When spending the time there, it was no reason they couldn't put us at one of their longer tables by the half boots and just added more seating to accommodate a larger party for her. It seemed absolutely ridiculous since they weren't full during the time that we were there and they could've made more money just by allowing us to bring more people. When we got there since there was barely any room for us all we put our bags and gifts behind us on the stretch of quartz table. That too was a big NO. So we were stuck holding our bags and they offered to take the gifts and bring them back. I asked them if they had one of those bag hangers. That answer again was NO. To decorate the guest of honor wanted to put flowers in the middle of the table. That was also a NO. Then came the delivery of our food. I had ordered the Chinese chicken salad, which I asked them to toss with light dressing and then add some on the side in case. They brought me the salad with no dressing, and a smaller bowl plate. There was no room between all of us stuck together to toss a salad so I sent it back and I asked them to toss the salad like I asked them. There was confusion amongst the servers. My issue is with such a high-end concept of a restaurant, they should have high-end customer service. And it was really crappy Customer service. That doesn't mean that the server didn't do a good job, he did. But it was all these crazy rules that made it unenjoyable. I've learned that I would never bring a group of people to this establishment for any event. It might be OK for just a party of two or four. I don't tend to give really bad reviews unless it's very warranted. This place was unfortunate, considering it could be so much more.

We also order matza ball soup because we had never had it before and the pigs in the blanket - we were told it was a better option than the crispy artichokes. First, who ever is making the soup, I need a gallon of it as winter is coming and this is exactly what I want to be eating on a cold day. The pigs in the blanket was okay, a little dry for my liking but still tasty. The show stopper was the French toast and the chicken schnitzel (by the way I had them split it in the kitchen as I shared it so my picture is a half of what typically comes). Seriously, I'd come back again and again just for the French toast, the schnitzel and the soup!!! It is a bit pricey, but if that's not something that concerns you, make your way here.

During our visit, we stumbled upon this charming, quaint restaurant, and I'm so glad we did. It was a Saturday evening, and despite not having a reservation, we were lucky enough to find two seats at the bar. As we sat there, I couldn't help but notice how seamlessly the bartending team worked together. Watching them was truly impressive. The space behind the bar was limited, yet they moved in perfect harmony, never bumping into one another, always anticipating what needed to happen next, and effortlessly picking up where the other left off. It was like watching a beautifully choreographed performance. That evening, Logan was working alongside Kevin and Amanda, and together they made the experience exceptional. We ordered the scallops for dinner, and they were absolutely outstanding. Before leaving, I felt compelled to tell Logan how much we had enjoyed our experience and how fascinating it was to watch their teamwork in action. That's when he shared that it was actually the first night the three of them had ever worked together behind the bar. Honestly, I was shocked. They seemed like a team that had been working side by side for years. All I can say is they make the perfect trio. This place will not disappoint.
