Worst experience I've ever had at a salon. The massage chairs didn't work, which was disappointing from the start. During my pedicure, the technician cut me multiple times while removing my previous gel polish and even tore off part of my toenail. What made it worse was that she kept poking at it afterward, asking if it hurt. There was no massage included, and the overall service felt rushed and careless. The staff also spoke in Spanish about me and my friends, which made us uncomfortable. Out of the three of us, only one person received hot stones, even though we all booked the same service. Communication was very poor--she wouldn't guide me on how to position my legs or feet, but instead would just stop and stare until I figured it out myself. The entire experience was stressful, and I couldn't relax or even enjoy my book. I will not be returning. read more

This place is filthy dirty. Wanted to try since I always pass it but good grief, the lady who worked on my nails wiped my hand with the same wet rag she was using to clean the nail dust off of her station. I was blown away and asked her to use a fresh one. Equipment was dirty. Stations were overrun with dust and grime. Then rolled her eyes at me when I asked not to file the top of my nails. I didn't want to ruin the integrity of my natural nail. $38 gel manicure = $48 with tip. Lasted 2 days before chipping, 4 days before just peeling off. I'm not sure what's going on in this place. Absolutely love the pedicures & eyebrow waxing here and that's about it. The nail side has never been good and the gel never last more than 2 days so I only came for the above mentioned and the occasional emergency fill for my daughter's acrylics. It's easy to get an appointment and there open Sunday's. Took my daughter last night to get a fill. She wanted polka dots and they wanted to charge 25.00 extra for this. (Her nails aren't very long so no justification there ) I couldn't believe it! We got real designs, artists work over the summer at my salon and they charged the same! And that's at a very well run nail salon that consistently gives you quality for price. I get everyone can charge what they want but in order to stay in business, they really need to step it up with the quality of service and competitive pricing. Especially when their customers are having the same complaints consistently online. Highly recommend the pedicures although I'm not sure I'll be back for any reason after this. Staff is friendly but I will not be back. I gave three tries and every time my gel manicure chipped in less than a week. My gel manicure usually lasts last 2 1/2- 3 weeks when I have my nails done at other salons. The first time I went back after 3 days and they redid the manicure for me on the spot. But it still cost me time and the tip that I gave to the nail tech. After that do-over manicure my nails chipped again in less than a week. At that point I went back and showed the manager my nails again. She offered to do them over but I did not have time. She gave me a $20 gift certificate toward my next manicure. i finally went back to use the gift certificate last week and within 5 days 4 of my naiils chipped. The first nail chipped after one day. As tempted as I was to drive by and show the manager my nails (again!) I know I would be wasting my time. This is three strikes already. I have no idea why this keeps happening only at this place but clearly the products they used are not holding up. I wonder if other customers experience the same. read more

I went to this place for a basic gel fill-in and a regular pedi. The pedicure was pretty good i'm satisfied with that portion but the gel fill-in LITERALLY took two hours and forty minutes.. I also tried to speak to the woman at the counter multiple times telling her i wasn't satisfied with my nails because the shape was all wrong and you can feel bumps and bubbles under my nail from dust and air. she insisted it was perfectly fine and charged me $72?!! I came in here a couple of other times and each time I have seen Joy. An amazing nail artist who always left me satisfied. But today, I saw someone new and left completely unsatisfied. It took the new woman over 2 hours to do my nails, and ignored me when I said I wanted tips. She put only acrylic and the nails are bumpy and uneven. Not to mention the nails look nothing like the photo I showed. They originally told me the nails would be $75 which was already a high price for a full set. But after my nails were finished they said the full price was $90. These nails were NOT worth $90 I wouldn't even pay $50 for these nails. I have been going to this place for years and I can say the girls do a good job at what they are doing. I can't take that away from them. There is an obvious language barrier which is fine but they should be able to understand what you want if you have specifications and that is a hit or miss experience. I am satisfied with the pedicure and gel manicure I had. However I'm not sure if I will go back because the place is very dingy dirty and looks gross. Nothing has been updated. The screens they put at the manicure desks are scuffed and filthy. The pedicure tubs had flakes of skin around the faucets (not my skin someone elses!) Nail polish stains in places I'm not sure how it would even get there. It just had a very unhygienic feeling and that is really not what you want in a salon. I did not see any sterilization of tools. Which granted could be done in the back somewhere. But the girl who did my nails pulled out tools from a plastic box which must have been her tools. She did not clean them before or after using them on me. The towels are old, stained and some have holes in them. Yes I'm sure they are clean but its just not a good look. I think the owner really needs to invest in updating some of the stations/supplies etc. and making sure things are CLEAN. I should not see other people skin in my chair before I get in! It seems like they are really cutting corners with the supplies. I just did not see anything that assured me of sterilization. Even the uv box to put your hand in for a gel manicure had a filmy feeling inside of it. Did not see anything wiped down after use. I'm pretty concerned. If I didn't see the girl take the plastic liner out of the pedicure bowl I would have been convinced they re-use them too. read more

Most relaxing pedicures! I'm not sure how they get poor reviews- only been here for pedis- but I find them to be super relaxing and luxurious. They always use scrub, oil, shea butter massage and paraffin wax on your heels during the polish application. Definitely best pedicures around! read more

I see a lot of negative reviews, but honestly I had a great experience. To be honest, I've only gotten a pedicure once before this due to my very ticklish feet, but the girl that did my feet was very patient with my flinching and giggling. She was very sweet and smiley. I really liked the calf massages with exfoliating scrub, some kind of oil, and hot stones. It felt great! I just got basic polish and overall everything came to $25 which seems pretty reasonable. With a pedicure, you sit in those massage chairs with the foot bath for a few minutes, then the workers will cut, file, and clean your tonails. They file the bottom of your feet which can be kind of ticklish. They massage your calves and feet with different things and paint your nails. I paid in card, but there was no where to put a tip. I asked the lady at the register about adding a tip, and she said they only accept cash tips. I felt very badly because I didn't have any cash to tip...now I know for next time to bring cash. read more

I have been coming here for years, and I have seen a dramatic change in the quality of workmanship in the last few years. Today I received the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I went in for a french pedicure. She barely massaged my legs, but that wasn't the real problem. The white tip on each toe was a different width. It looks like a child painted my nails. My big toes look so different from each other that I asked her if she could fix it. She said they look the same. I asked a couple other girls, and they nodded yes that they look the same. At this point, I was causing a scene and was too angry to discuss it with yet another person. I only splurge on pedicures during the summer, and I truly expect much more than I got today. I have come here several times and honestly I can't complain. They have so many girls doing pedicure and manicure, so I never had to wait. The one thing that make me come back is that the nail polish doesn't come off easily. It last a few day. I do a lot of things around the house , so a lasting nail polish is a plus. I used to like this place. It was always easy to get a service with a short waiting time. Recently though, I had a mani with someone named Chris. My nails chip easily so I usually get weekly manicure's. I have spent much time getting my nails healthier. I'm mad that Chris decided to use a sanding machine and buzz off at least a 1/4 in off the top of each nail making them thin and now the result is even easier chipping. So I'm aggravated. Would not recommend anymore. Paradise nails used to be wonderful. I would go for pedicures and the staff was always very friendly and the technicians did a great job. I'm not sure what has happened, but my last visit to paradise was disappointing. My pedicure was ok, but not great. And my manicure was horrible. I had gel nail polish on and was simply looking to get it taken off and get my nails and cuticles cleaned up. For those who don't know with a gel polish you file the top to rough it up and then soak in acetone so you can easily peel the gel off without damaging the nails. Well the technician who was doing my nails filed them so hard that she actually filed the gel polish off of parts of my nail before even soaking them. She filed so hard that they burnt. I mentioned that it was hurting and she acknowledged what I said, but continued to file them extremely hard. After the gel polish was off the technicians continued to be very rough filing my nails down. At the end I walked out and my nails were all different lengths and my cuticles a mess. Very disappointed as paradise used to be a wonderful place for a manicure and pedicure. read more

Worst Gel Manicure EVER!!! It cost more than twice as much as a standard manicure, they used a drill to take off my previous polish and it made my nails so weak that one of them tore even WITH the Gel polish on! Went here for a quick pedi before a doctors appt in the area. It was very crowded but they had a ton of people working so I was seen right away. They use a variety of things such as sugar scrubs and hot stones which was a nice touch. I left with my nails looking nice and neat and relaxed. My bp was even down at the doctors! I have been going to Paradise for several years now for the standard pedicure. At $25 for a pedicure, leg massage and massage chair for about 40 mins, it was a bargain. I was always highly satisfied with the pedicure. I went today for the first time since covid interrupted our lives. Now the cost is $28, very fair. They have put measures in place. You should have an appt. (I didn't but they took me anyway), they take your temperature, you must sign a release, they have plastic dividers between the clients and the staff. They still give the full pedicure treatment, (which not all salons are doing now) it felt good to relax and do my 'normal summer thing'. The only suggestion I have is the owner needs to be friendlier. She is abrupt and there is simply no need for that. Happy to be back! read more

Loving the extra measures that are in place to protect clients and staff. Temperature taken before anyone enters the salon, waiting outside until they are ready to seat you, plastic partition between stations, an empty station between each client...exactly what one would hope for during these crazy COVID19 times. I used to come here all the time until recently. The last time I was here the massage was okay but the nail polish looked like a 5 year old applied it. Today I decided to give it another shot. BIG MISTAKE. I came in at 5, they close at 7 on Thursday. Shortly after sitting for my pedicure all the girls that weren't busy began cleaning and mopping around me with a strong cleaner. The massage was rushed and you could tell this woman wanted to get out of work. She left the massage oil on my legs and I rode home breaking out in a rash because of it. I brought my mom here for an early mother's day present for mani/pedis. The pedicure was good, they did a nice job and the massage was great. When I went to get my gel manicure, the woman was extremely unfriendly. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she said she could replicate it. I was trying to pick the same color and she was being super pushy and acting annoyed that I didn't like the one SHE picked, and the design came out terrible. Great pedicures here, but I would get gel manis and once made the mistake to get a gel acrylic mani and my nails were all different shapes and sizes it looked terrible. This place gave my husband and I amazing pedicures. I frequently go to 2 other salons in the area and the pricing was the same. Almost every seat was filled the whole time we were there. We both received lengthy foot massages compared to other salons. They used honey, Shea butter and hot stones during their pedicures. Horrible experience and I will never return. I have had services done here before but you won't see me dead in there. I got a lip waxing and eyebrow waxing. The lip waxing was fine, provided that a poorly trained monkey can wax a lip. However, the eyebrow wax was a different story. Mia was the waxist who did my brows and she did a horrendous job. I have had plenty of eyebrow waxes in my day and this one is hands down the worst. The brows are totally uneven and disgusting and she tweezed too much from the middle.
