New to the area. Lady/greeter was nice. I had an appointment, got sat right away. But waited 5-10min to be serviced. As getting nails done with the machine she slightly burned me twice, no apology. No hand lotion or hand massage. Left with dry hands and dry cuticles. But she did do a great job and love my nails! I really want to like them and make this my place so I will give them another try with different person. The place was very busy, so they're doing something right! UPDATE: I returned for a fill-in and as noted before was greeted and sat right away after initial washing of hands. I had a different nail tech this time and had a great experience, did my cuticles and brushed cuticle oil on them. Have not quite decided if this will be my go to place yet. Very easy to book an appointment, got me in as a same day. Lots of different nail techs, spacious salon, very friendly staff all around who remember their clients names. This is my third time going and each time I'm blown away, you can ask for almost any design. So many colors down to metallic all for a great price. During my pregnancy I had really bad Carpal tunnel syndrome. It causes weakness, numbness, tingling, and pain in the hands and fingers. It occurs when the median nerve, which runs through the carpal tunnel in the wrist, becomes compressed. Needless to say, you just never know what people are going through. This place was great years ago when Tiffany and Carlito were there. Ever since Carlito left, the customer service has dropped drastically. Carlito always made sure his customers were treated with dignity and respect. However, ever since Jen took over, the staff members always end up leaving! They were just recently short staffed not too long ago and every time I went Jen made sure she expressed how miserable she was by constantly huffing and puffing at the salon in front of her clients. She was always complaining about the amount of work load she had, complaining about the staff, and she talked poorly about the clients! She does not know how to work with the community. Especially if she does not like you. She has her favorite clients and it shows as she forces the other staff members to prioritize her favorite, even if they come in late or after the other clients are already being serviced. Jen also mistreats the clients that are serviced by the other nail techs, and acts like she never wants to be bothered! Jen knows how to do nails. However, her attitude towards her own employees and customer service is terrible. After my experience with Jen, I never did them with her again. I only did my nails with Paula, and a few other techs. (I never had any issues with any other nail techs but Jen). On 3/28/25 at around 10:00 a.m. I was the first customer there and I was serviced by the nail tech named Flor. Flor was gentle, kind spirited, professional, realistic, and she was easy to work with. I went in to get my acrylic gel polished nails removed. I wanted to give my natural nails a break. Flor tried to shave my nails down safely and effectively with the machine, but my nails were too thick so we decided to soak them down as much as possible. Shortly after a few minutes, Jen and another new staff member came in and the whole time after, all of the staff members were trying to rush Flor to service another client (one of Jen's favorites). One of the new nail techs suggested and kept insisting to help by shaving the whole acrylic down and lifting the rest off (but she was inconsiderate because my nails were too damaged for that. Me and Flor had also agreed that it wasn't the safest method. While my nails were soaking, Flor started doing Jen's favorite client's pedicure, but she had to pause because I was finished with soaking and she had to finish the work she started with me. Jen's favorite client was getting anxious that she had to wait for Flor to finish with me. There where other nail techs that were available. But the client only wanted Flor to do her feet, and she had to leave soon. Jen immediately tried to blame Flor and told her client out loud that it was not her fault that the client could not have everything finished soon. Basically, blaming Flor for not passing me over to another staff member so that Flor could hurry and work on her. SHADYYYYY!!!! I am tired of Jen's unprofessionalism, abuse towards her clients, and staff members. read more

I've had two experiences here. First time I waited 45 minutes before finally getting my nails done and I had an appointment. Second time I went with 4 people (including the bride) for wedding nails. We were overcharged with no reason as to why. The total ended up being $445 (not including tip) for four pedicures and four fills. The technicians who did our nails even said that we were being overcharged and it should've only be $85 each. Absolutely ridiculous rip off, especially since we had nails break after one day. (This has happened multiple times now) Unfortunate because I thought this was going to be my new nail place. This was my first time here. Judy was able to get me in on the same day. I was so glad she was able to do so. I had an appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Once I got there, Claudia was assigned to be my mail technician. She escorted me to the pedicure/massage chair and she had the basin filled with warm water. I placed my feet in and then turned the massage button on to get a nice back massage while getting my pedicure. The massage didn't work as well as others that I've experienced. Claudia took her time and did a great massage on my legs and feet. She did a really good job on my gel manicure. It was professionally polished. Overall, I like this place and I'll be sure to book my next appointment here. read more

I was recommended this place by a friend, who got her nails done AMAZINGLY by Rachel. They were amazing detailed Hello Kitty nails that were perfect! (Just trust me on this because I don't have a picture). So I went, and my experience was a tad different, I suppose. The first time I went with Rachel, first off, she and everyone was so very kind. My nails came out pretty good, a little bit darker than I wanted and the design was just alright, but it was fine. Nothing compared to my friends nails, though. The second time I went I got another lady, and she was also nice, just like everyone else. But my nails came out just alright, maybe a bit short and a bit too pointy for my liking. But they're still fine. Also it smells so strongly of nail polish in there!! Wow! But you do get used to it a little as you're there. I tried to tell Rachel how like them and when I say she didn't listen or she didn't understand. When asked Judy to please explain to her what I need fixed, Judy said oh I can't do that, that's Rachel style. No I'm the customer I thought it was my style and how I want them. I'm paying her to do my nails my way. But since there is only 1 license hanging in there, someone should report it to the state that they have unlicensed people working there. I really dislike having to give such a low rating, as I had been a loyal client here for 4+ years. There had been little hiccups along the way, but Mary, Judy, and Lam were so talented that things were fairly smooth. That was then however. Over time, I refused to have Judy do my nails because she was all over the place, literally. She would get up to go and wax someone in the midst of my nails. So, Mary did my nails, and I watched as thongs started to fall apart. It got to where the *only* bright spot was Mary and Lam who are, frankly, in a league of their own. The rest was just a round robin of losing clients as well as employees. To discover that the owner, Judy, had made the ridiculous choice to let her BEST manicurists and nail artists GO?? I was floored, I have held Judy to at least have a good head for business, but clearly I was wrong. I am very happy to say that Mary is still my nail artist, and that she and Lam are thriving elsewhere. As for 3D? Sorry to say but any client loyalty and good will Judy may ever have had is long gone, although on the up side, many former 3D clients are very happy to follow Mary and Lam. 3D used to be 5 stars to me, 2 is a courtesy now. read more

Having wanted a quick mani I called 3D and asked for an appointment. I was told to come in at noon, after 15 minutes of waiting I got up to leave and was seated with a nail tech. She was polite and did a mani... The shop seems to be filled with nail techs and they were all busy. The ladies working there seem to have a great working relationship, alot of inside jokes and conversations. In short the mani did not work out. I got it done and the next day was at another nail shop to redo what had been done. Although thankful I was able to get an appointment will not return. There seemed to be many regulars and the phone was busy so perhaps give them a try cause they are making some people very happy. read more

So I went to this place the first time and had a good experience. Hence, I decided to go again today and made an appointment for Manicure and Pedicure. The lady on the phone confirmed that I am booked for both today. I reached at the right time and got the pedicure done first. I was then asked to wait for the manicure. I shouldn't have had to wait as I had made an appointment for both. I kept waiting for 25 mins and then decided to ask what's going on. I was then told that there was no manicure supposed to be done for me today. I emphasized that I had made an appointment when one of their staff yells from the other end that I hadn't made an appointment for the manicure. Some guy (staff) there tells me that if I want I can look at their notes to see that I hadn't made an appointment for a manicure. Really? Instead of accepting that you messed up, you are trying to prove that the customer is wrong and you are right? On top of that, they didn't even offer that they can still do the manicure for me and I had to leave their facility. This is the worst customer experience that I have received at a nail salon and I am sure I am never going back again. Is yelling from across the salon when there are tons of customers there and then not even offering to do the manicure when your staff messed up the appointment the right way to run a business? This was the worst mani/pedi of my life. It feels/looks like a hatchet was used on my nails. I couldn't be more upset with my nails. My big toe bled from the nail file being used too aggressively and then my fingernail from a mistake with cutting my cuticles. If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible. Cannot understand the good reviews for this place, which is why I tried it in the first place. Made an appointment but wasn't seen until 30 minutes in. They tried to do my gel manicure while I was getting my pedi. Very unrelaxing to have to repeatedly hold your arm over your body while someone works on it. Asked the mani tech to not cut but just even up my nails if needed. They were well sized and shaped going in. Despite asking not to cut and shape round, she promptly stars cutting (I asked her to stop) and sawing with the file into a square shape. Which, again, I asked her to stop then we had to fix the shape - meaning my nails were getting shorter and shorter. Finally I shut down the two at once thing when she came over with the gel light. I have never had a place try to do gel during a pedi. That's baloney. Finally finished pedi and went to nail station and it continued to go downhill. Left without nails completed. I should have walked out as soon as I walked based on the chemical smell alone. But I was in a time crunch to get my nails done. Left with uneven nails and no color. Will have to do myself because the clock has run out. The place was packed so clearly I'm in the minority and people like it there. Maybe I had a fluke experience but I will not be going back to find out. read more

I've recently moved into the Netcong area & Yelp is how I found this nail salon. The staff is nice & friendly, there are TVs to watch, & music playing. I really enjoyed my experience, they gave me a 4pm Saturday appointment on that Saturday morning, most places will tell you that they're booked or give you the most inexperienced tech, that was not the case here. I like this place & I will most likely go back, the only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the pink & white is $60 & gel pink & white are $80. I have never paid $60 for pink & white in my life & I've been getting pink & white for over 10 years. Besides the higher price which may be attributed to the area this place is great. Mary was my nail technician & she was an absolute peach. She was funny, friendly, & made conversation with me :) That was really nice, not too many people want to talk to you, or make very small talk. I've been turned away because they didn't have me written down for an appointment even though I'd called a week in advance. My mother also had to wait close to an hour because they made a "boo boo" and didn't write her down for an appointment. I understand that these things happen, but they happen all too often at this place.
