My husband and I go to Paradise Buffet 2-3 times a week. We like the choices of Asian food, salads & Monglian BBQ. The American food is basically the same menu & recipes served at Hometown Buffet. My thought on that, if I wanted Hometown Buffet food, I'd go to Hometown. Though one of favorites was the lightly topped crusted fish. Unfornately a month later they changed the type fish they used. I questioned the manager, he said nothing had been changed. It is now fishy tasting, dark on the bottom, before it was all white fish, bottom too.. We do like the food and the service is very good. We gotten to know many of the servers an are always warm and welcoming when they see us. My MAJOR complaint is the noise factor, they claim it to be average. Which it is NOT! Their music selection is not soothing for dining. The music is so LOUD the patrons need to talk over the music to be heard at their own tables. Don't get under one of there speakers, its deafing. I have repeatedly taken my complaint to the cashiers, the other day to management, nothing ever changes!! We are not the only patrons complaining, some of our friends come 3 -4 times a week. Though we like the food, if the noise factor (music) continues, we an other friends who frequent their establishment on a weekly basis, we will seek other places to dine. We know for a fact we are not the only ones who have complained, others have, just not to managment, which they need too do. I realize they are very busy, tho I have been there days when they are not. Management needs to LISTEN to their PATRONS, or after awhile they will begin to wonder WHY they are no longer busy! Word of mouth, good or bad is their best advertisement. If management ever reads these posts, they need pay attention to what people say and make changes!! read more

I have never been to a place like this one before with a ridiculous drinking service. I went to this buffet for the first time because I wanted my family to have a nice time while having dinner. Unfortunately this was not the case. My bad experience started when my husband served the family our drinks. As a first time customer we had no clue there were rules with the cups they provide once you paid at the entrance because no one explained it to us. When you pay for one drink they provide you with two similar cups (a white-clear and a blue-clear) which are transparent and cannot tell much of a difference. So my family is having dinner and all out of nowhere the manager Andy is at our table & tells my husband that he should not serve drinks in all the cups and that he should get up and pay for the drinks right away. Andy never spoke to us in a good manner about this confusion and he expected us to stop eating and get up to pay. Once my husband paid, Andy pointed out some cheap homemade signs they have but are not visible at all. He really treated us as if we were the kind of people who tend to get upset for anything so they won't pay. I felt discriminated because we heard from other people that he does that to the Hispanic people and not to his own Chinese people. This is a habit that Andy and wife tend to do or they just simply approach the customers table and grab the cups without a word and takes them away or throw them in a pan. I know that there are more people with this same situation so I wish they speak up and report this kind of problem. My family has good values and we always respect others no matter their origin. I will not go back to this place again because they do not know anything about a good customer service. read more

I'm in awe with this place right now. I didn't get his name but he had a thick hispanic accent. I called to make a reservation for 20 -25 people ( which I have done in the past here without a deposit) I was told I needed to leave a $100 deposit that will go towards the bill. I said okay, I understand but how would it work to get my deposit back if all guest will pay their own entry? This mans response was, " I don't know thats your problem your going to have to figure it out and call me back."How am I supposed to figure out what your policy is on returning deposits? Thats what I called you for. I was appalled at the lack of knowledge/ customer service skills this person attained. Not only did he make this spot lose business of 20 I will not be a returning customer. I didn't even ask to speak to a manager because I wouldn't want to deal with another incompetent person when I don't plan to come here anyways. FOOD : The food here is mediocre probably a 2.5 out of 5. I wouldn't pick it on a regular day. It is honestly a hit or miss with the quality, freshness and selection however I like the idea of no messy bill splitting at the end of dinner for large events that is the ONLY reason why I chose to come here. I recently stopped by Paradise Asian Buffet and was honestly impressed, especially with the vegetarian options. Buffets can be hit or miss when it comes to non meat choices, but this place actually delivers. They have a solid variety for vegetarians and even vegans. The orange tofu was a standout, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in a flavorful sauce that wasn't overly sweet. The veggie spring rolls were fresh and had a nice crunch, definitely one of my favorites. They also offer the basics like rice and noodles, which were well seasoned and not greasy. It's nice to see a buffet that doesn't treat vegetarian options like an afterthought. There's enough variety here to actually make a full meal without feeling limited. DO NOT EAT HERE. On one side of the buffet there is an opening where the servers take plates and further into it they wash dishes. The water they use is so dirty and if you look beyond the food everything is absolutely dirty. read more

Spicy Orange Chicken Fries - 5/5 I couldn't believe how well this worked together. Stir fried in their extremely hot wok along with chili pepper, crinkle fries, orange chicken, topped with shredded cheese, special spicy house sauce, and green onions. Simple yet packed with flavors! The fries were crispy along with the orange chicken that was cooked separately in coated battered. Every bit is packed with flavor and crispiness. I could barely put much in my mouth because each ingredient holds its integrity on its shape. Carry Out Noodles - 5/5 Noodles are bouncy and chewy with a slight kick to it. The orange chicken held its integrity and wasn't soggy. The dish itself did not taste as though it was drenched in sauce, but was nicely coated on top. 3 Item Combo - 5/5 I got the chow mein&fried rice as the base. My three items were bbq pork char siu, beef broccoli, and steam vegetables. The server was pretty helpful and even told us about Tuesdays having a deal on the seafood trays. Anyway, the food was really good. Better than most of the seafood boil places in the area. Reasonable price for the amount of food we got, one seafood tray and an order of bread would probably feed 2-4 people depending on their appetites. Would for sure come back.
