I'm not a fan of cheap buffets or buffets in general, so I came here not expecting much. And basically it was exactly how I thought it would be.. I came here with my family for my little cousin's bday and my uncle has 'never been to a buffet' so i took them (they chose location, i just drove). So I must admit it was pretty clean, but probably cause the place is new. I doubt it'll be maintained. The place was quite spacious, so it';s good for large parties. However I've been told by friends there can be long waits on friday nights and weekends. I feel like the food was very mediocre =/ nothing special. there's mongolian bbq anywhere, dry meats, cold seafood.. .. i saw a chocolate fondue fountain and that was the only thing that excited me a bit, but i came closer and the strawberries were bruised pound cake was HUGE and HARD =/ and the marshmallows was bleh. the ice cream was old looking and frosted over, and they werent even generous in scooping it .. .. They ask for your comments at the end of your meal to help make them a better establishment. Here's mine: Cut out the MSG!!! I had a bad case of MSG mouth and downed glasses upon glasses of water when making my way back home. Paradise Buffet, I will be making you a bi-yearly (if that) stop until you do. And a helpful tip that I'm hoping they can take on in the near future; Seafood night. Everyone else seems to be doing it. Change up the menu. The mongolian station was a nice touch and for the price of what other AYCE mongolian places charge, you can come here enjoy a huge bowl of your choice of ingredients and make your way to the other stations. The dessert bar was quite a sight. Cupcakes, pies, cakes, cookies, soft serve ice cream and top it off, a chocolate fountain. Personally I didn't see too many items worth gushing over with the exception of the spumoni. I must've had scoops upon scoops of it. This place is nice, clean and sparkly. So not sure why this place doesn't do well in the reviews but we went last week and we really enjoyed our time there and in fact the husband was ready to go again this week but I reminded him that there were lots of food adventures out there waiting for us so we needed to go do some further exploring. At any rate, I thought the food was better than ok. The food leans more heavily on the Asian side but that's ok my tummy doesn't discriminate. For those of you that are Mongolian bbq fans, this is the place for you! It's great that you don't have to worry about piling your plate as high as you can get it. For a lower price buffet, it was not bad. Pretty good I would say. The place is clean and well kept inside and there is a constant line of customers all day so the food is fresh. Everything I tasted was good. The buffet is lower cost, so don't expect crab legs, sushi, or oysters. They don't take away the old food they throw fresh food on top and mix it in so it's really hit or miss. The favorite thing about this buffet was the chocolate donut holes but they got rid of those so no real reason to come back. Their dessert is all gross. My wife and I came in July 3rd greet was fine price was ok but when it came to the food quality it was the worst buffet we have ever been to. I came here with my girlfriend one afternoon because it seemed reasonably priced: $13.95 a person for lunch. Great! Upon entering, you pay and are taken to your table by staff member who only appears slightly overwhelmed by the impending lunch rush. You get your standard plastic cup for water or soda depending on your preference, then you hit the food. Shitty pizza, crab wontons, fries, pork chops, chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, meat loaf, etc, you name your favorite average buffet items, they probably got it. I loved it all, and it took me back to my childhood of going to buffets in Vegas and Laughlin with my family. Sure there were no crab legs, but the options do the job. In the middle of the buffet floor they have a huge Mongolian BBQ grill with a line that wraps around it. The grill is clearly the main attraction in the buffet and if the standard buffet options aren't to your taste, you can pick ingredients have have a bowl cooked to order at the grill. One thing that stood out at this buffet was the quality of the desserts. You know it there is a line out side there is something good inside, but dont let the line Scare you away. My family and I waited outside the line was 4 parking spaces away from the dood and we only waited a solid 10 minutes to get in. As far is the food goes it's ok for Me. Don't know why theres a-lot of 5 star reviews. when i walked in there was a roach on the sign near the entrance. When theres one you know theres definitely more around. Unsanitary. This is my favorite Chinese buffet by far! The selections are varied and the food is hot! Most buffets have luke warm or cold food. The star offering is the Mongolian barbecue but they also have a small carving station that is stocked with prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays. They have an extensive selection of other Chinese entrées and sides, a large salad bar and desserts including various ice creams, banana pudding, a chocolate fountain, cookies, pies and cakes. I love Paradise Buffet! The First thing I get when I go is Mongolian BBQ. I get two bowls one for my noodles and vegetables and one for my meats if you get the shrimp make sure you get a lot because they do shrink. I like that they don't charge extra for Mongolian BBQ. I like everything at the buffet it's hot and fresh not cold and old like other buffets. All the staff at the buffet are very friendly. I don't know why there's bad reviews on this place I never seen any roaches or gotten sick. I recommend everyone who has never been to this buffet that are looking at the reviews to actually try it. I like to come here with my better half or some friends and enjoy their meatloaf which isn't dry, pot stickers with that lovely dipping sauce, deep fried fish and chips, shrimp and cucumber salad with chips, juicy prime rib, and other things. There's the expected Chinese food buffet affair along with "American" dishes and a large salad bar. The Mongolian BBQ here is very popular, but I have yet to try it. It looks pretty good and fresh. There is someone who is constantly walking around picking up your dirty plates. Do not come with high expectations because the food isn't amazing. It's simply okay. They have a salad bar, soup bar, dessert table, and a section in the middle where they cook your noodles/meat for you. The variety of foods is not the greatest, but okay for a buffet. They have Chinese food, a bit of Mexican, some Italian, like spaghetti and mashed potatoes/wings/mac n cheese/corn on the cob type food. The best way to describe the food is that it looks better than it tastes, but that doesn't mean that the food is terrible. The flavor could be more enhanced.
