A family held their celebration of life post funeral gathering here. I was impressed at how many great selections were available. There are more selections available, than the stomach can hold. The prices are very reasonable. The seafood section, the pot roast and potatoes were great, fried jalapeño, salad bar section, sushi/sashimi sections and deserts; wow what a selection. this buffet has ample parking. In addition to the main dining area there are two different private dining areas adjacent to the buffet. The service was very efficient in removing empty plates from our tables without being obtrusive. Great place to eat.

We went there for early dinner to celebrate Mother's Day and was very busy for a Monday night and Cinco deMayo. Some items they have aren't labeled correctly and tasted from OK to good. Servers were good at clearing up plates. Prices are reasonable $12.99' for Senior early dinner drinks extra.

A few hits and misses but overall great deals for seniors! Grab your Lola and lolo bring them here for a great experience of a buffet meal under $15 with drink. Plenty of seating and also private room areas for parties or special occasions. Large parking lot was full. Mongolian bbq has lots of ingredients to be creative and generous with whatever makes your tummy say, "mmmmm!" Great service! Never had to ask for plates to be cleared they were on top of it. If you're a macaroon fan these were one of the best! I like crispy edges and these had the perfect toast.

Service is good. Our server took good care of us. Ambiance is ok comfy. Came in time where there is not a long line wait and seating availability is easy to find. Heard weekends are a different story (very busy & crowded). Food was actually good (at least the ones I tried). Better than most buffets I've tried. Price competitive and very reasonable. I liked their sautéed green beans and mushroom. Meat loaf was very good by itself but adding gravy or sauce takes it to next level. Everything I tried was really good. Soups, desserts (not bad at all) specially sesame balls and coconut fritters. Picked the more toastier ones for added bitter sweet flavor (it's just my taste). No doubt will be back for sure.

Paradise Buffet in Montclair gets my stamp of approval because the food I enjoy eating here is consistently good! I'm not too concerned about everything else as long as my favorites hit the mark--and they do. The variety of soups is great, and the Mongolian grill stands out with its thinly sliced meats that cook perfectly. The Chinese section is solid, and I always make sure to grab some Chinese donuts (a personal favorite). Their desserts are also a nice way to finish the meal. If you're like me and focus on specific dishes at buffets, you'll find plenty to enjoy here. Definitely worth a visit if these are your go-to items too!

They raised the price on Christmas Day although it's posted here as cheaper.

Save your money. Came for Christmas and in the entrance screen the price was $18.95 for adults 11a-8pm on holidays. Got there and were told it was $23. Gave it a try because of the reviews and obviously those reviews are not real. This place is horrible. The food has no flavor, the Mongolian bar... a joke. The meat is literally defrosting in bowl they have it in! Normally it should be frozen. Then the guy cooking the Mongolian food leaves the food cooking under a bowl for too long! The food was overcooked, the meat was shriveled up and the noodles were overcooked. The waitresses don't pick up your plates because they are too busy talking about their schedules. Please save your hard earned money.

(You get what you paid for)... I thought the taste and quality of the food would be similar to the other Paradise Buffet I went to, but it's not even close. ******** What I dislike ******** The Mac & Cheese is watery, the salad lettuce is soggy and old, the cheesecake is sugary, the German cake is dry like it has been sitting out for a while. The baked imitation does not look baked at all. The sesame ball is overcooked. The orange looks like it has already been eaten. I mean, look at the pictures... The cashier doesn't seem too friendly, and I don't know why, but the servers were polite and efficient. Now, onto what I like! ******** What I like ******** I like the Mongolian BBQ. Chef knows what seasoning to add to make your dish taste better. Just ask if you are not sure. The fried banana and the mango jello are very flavorful. The sugar-free chocolate cookie is bomb! I'd also suggest just getting a water cup, add honey and lemon, and make yourself a nice and refreshing drink. It beats soda for sure (and it's healthy) The seafood salad is also something I'd have you try. Not sure if I will be back, but the price is certainly worth the try.

Overall the atmosphere and service from the staff were good. My only complaint was the taste of the food. Previously the seasoning was good, but today it left a lot to be desired. The tostada for the tacos was watery and seemed very old. The meat for the tacos had no flavor and was overcooked, as was the shrimp and meatloaf. The orange chicken tasted like literal honey syrup. In the past, they had cheese enchiladas, but they've since removed them from the menu. The redeeming feature is the Mongolian-style food, because you add the seasoning yourself. I think they should start paying more attention to the seasonings, quality, and flavor of the food. en general el ambiente y servicio del personal es bueno, mi descontento fue con el sabor de la comida, anteriormente el sazon en la comida era bueno, pero el dia de hoy dejo mucho a decear, la tostada para los tacos estaba aguada parecian estar miy viejas, la carbe para los tacos no tenia sabor, estaba incipida al igual que los camarones y el pastel de carne; el pollo a la naranja parecia jarabe de miel literal. en el pasado tenian enchiladas de queso y ya las retiraron del menu, lo rescatable es la comida estilo mongolia, por que tu mismo pones condimento, creo que deberian de empezar a poner mas atencion a los condimentos, la calidad y el sabor de la comida.

Good place for lunch and dinner. The Mongolian grill does make it more appealing. Only thing missing is more sea food and some sushi.

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

It was so underwhelming. 2 eggs cooked differently, one over hard, one over easy, 5-6 potato pieces and the steak was thin, overcooked, and appeared to be a cheap cut of meat. A New York cut would have been great. Wife mentioned norms has better steak and eggs. Called and spoke with a manager Stephanie, not looking for anything, but to express disappointment in the meal for the high price. She offered to mail a gift card for us and invited us back. Took all of my information and never received it. Thanks anyway. Don't think we'll be back.

Unfortunately, there were a few disappointments during dinner. We ordered the crab cakes and were told they were unavailable. We then ordered lamb chops, which were also unavailable. Thankfully, the food we did receive was amazing and we were still enjoying our evening while waiting for birthday dessert. What completely changed the experience was when the manager, Destiny, approached our table and told us we needed to move to accommodate another party. We explained that we also had a reservation, were still eating, and were waiting on dessert. Instead of handling the situation professionally, her approach came off with an attitude and as though we were an inconvenience for not wanting to move in the middle of our meal. As a manager, professionalism and customer service matter, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. Better reservation management could have prevented this situation entirely. Even other guests nearby seemed shocked by what was happening. Roger ended up apologizing on her behalf, even though he was not the issue. He truly did his best to save the experience, while the manager never came back to apologize herself. The food and our waiter were excellent, but the management experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

We came on a weekend and it was super busy (as it should be honestly with how amazing the food and service are). The bow tie pasta is served cold and has a vinegary flavor to it, definitely a distinct taste, but I personally loved it because I enjoy sour/vinegary flavors. I can see why it might not be everyone's favorite though, but I personally really enjoyed it. The salmon was also super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Same with the penne pasta and potatoes.
