Cleanliness: The people working there do a good job of keeping it clean, wiping down everything often. There were disposable gloves and hand sanitizer set out at the food stations, and all the hot foods were very hot; leading me to feel good about food safety. The servers do a great job of taking away your empty dishes. They have a Mongolian barbecue grill, which seems really popular. This is standard buffet fare: fast food -type Chinese food, fried chicken& fish, grilled/baked tilapia, salmon, meatloaf, taco bar, etc. Lunch doesn't have any steamed or grilled shrimp in the shell but I've seen it there at dinner time. They used to have sushi rolls a few years ago , but not any longer. I got food poisoning from this place and I'm not very satisfied with the food that I received. This is my first time coming and my last. I felt sick after eating and my stomach wasn't feeling good. I have never gotten sick like this over food. The food there isn't even heated at the temperatures they are supposed to be. I've worked in a buffet before and if the food reaches under a certain temp and is not eatable we Throw it out and bring out a fresh batch. Honestly, it's pretty decent for what it is. The price is fair with a good amount of variety. I tried most of the food and would say ~85% of the food are good and if not good, average at least. For some reason the soft serve machine was always having issues, but it got fixed after a while every time. Mongolian BBQ has a huge line, so maybe head there first if there are less people. Dinning would be a lots more pleasure with just regular music instead of the Spanish music that they play ALL THE TIMES, also there are some workers that also make your dinning experience in pleasure, they look at your receipt and make the head count and count the drinks, I find this very annoying. You're obviously there for the sheer amount of food, and sometimes the variety that a buffet can provide - but you'd hope that the quality of some food items would be satisfactory. I was quite disappointed, as it took me awhile to find something that I actually wanted to eat. Most things were bland or gross to the point where I didn't want to finish most things on my plate. I didn't bother with the Mongolian Grill since the wait was kind of long, so I can't evaluate that. The staff seemed to clear the plates from the tables pretty fast, so they had that going for them, and they did try to take some precautions with cleanliness by trying to provide gloves to people at the buffet lines. So far the reviews have been mediocre but I am intrigued. Some reviews really good while others just bad. There's so much variety at Paradise Buffet. I've had 3 family reunions here and my whole family all find something they really like, and the prices are great for ALL YOU CAN EAT, Mongolian Barbecue included... The service has always been excellent! The place can get very busy, so it can get a little loud but never so much you can't speak or hear each other. It's an okay buffet. I went there on a Monday. I was expecting that they serve at least mussels but there's none. They have clams, baked tilapia and cod, no salmon although there was a sign on the counter said "salmon" but it was tilapia. Pot roast was overcooked like it's a stringy cornedbeef already. Most buffets are traditional and have the same foods and experiences, but this place is inexpensive, has a nice selection of food, and even has a Mongolian style chef station I. The center. The food was tasty and fresh. They had lots of salads and sides along with the various meat entries. I have to say that my expectation was not very high given that I am not a fan of buffet food. But after trying the various options I was pleasantly surprised. Not good either, reminded me of Spanish rice more so than Asian. Almost everything we ate was bland or gross. Only OK Thing Was grilled chicken. This is anything but an authentic or just normal Chinese buffet. Cooks seem to just do things how they want according to their ethnicity versus what the restaurant advertised.
