Paradise Buffet is the buffet place to go to for good foods such as crawfish, stir-fried shrimp, butterfly shrimp, dumplings, egg plants, and tons of other food items. They have a nice salad and dessert bar, great flavors of ice cream, and my favorite is their Mongolian BBQ. Love the different noodles and vegetables and meats to choose from... make sure you add the wet sauces and dry spices! It makes a difference in the taste and flavors. My combo of teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, chili sauce, vegetable oil, curry powder, and pepper is the B*MB IMHO! How much can one person eat at a buffet? At most maybe two or three plates plus save room for desserts and drinks. I think they have raised their prices since COVID-19, but still decent for their good selections of food items. The only thing they don't have is sashimi, crab legs or lobster. The only other buffet I eat at in the Inland Empire is Luxe Buffet which is a higher end buffet like Las Vegas style... and their prices have gone up tremendously... they used to be mid $20's, but now I think it's in the $30's, but it could still be worth it for their sashimi, crab legs, and lobster, plus a whole lot of other foods. Anyway back to Paradise Buffet, their staff is very good at what they do. Always friendly and pleasant... provides excellent customer service! Prices are very reasonable. Drinks are extra that's not included in buffet price which makes sense since not everyone drinks soda or coffee or tea. I always go for the water LOL. Tons of parking. Never coming back again there was hair in ice cream and I told the lady all she did took it back and took the hair off and give back to me and expect me to eat it after I told the manger he didn't do anything about it was so clam don't ever go back to eat again gonna report to upper person. Opened back after the pandemic with Gusto. The Mongolian Grill is excellent I was number 8 & the line & cook were fast. The Manager jumped in to assist because the people just keep coming. My kids love coming here since they have a lot of different choices in food and desserts. My favorite is the Mongolian grill where you can create your own bowl including meats and they cook it in front of you. Best to come during the week day since it gets super packed on the weekends that the line is outside. They can work on cleaning the food stations as items do fall off of people's plates and it makes it look dirty but they do clean the tables quickly. This place has been our go to buffet ! read more

My husband and I went during lunch hour, and right off the bat this place was packed. It was $34 for the two of us including our drinks. It actually took us a moment to find a table. There was a large verity of foods, a section for noodles, entrees, desserts, and a salad bar. I attempted to take photos of the food when this rude Hispanic old lady called me out and said "no! You can NOT record in here!" And she quickly started telling other staff members so they could tell me to stop. Which no one else cared but her. A little strange but ok. The over all food was not it. Not only were many of the dishes bland, but also textured like days old left overs. Either very low quality, or the food was cooked days prior and/or reheated multiple times idk. Another thing to note was how dirty the tongs and spoons felt at the buffet stations. The handles were sticky, I did later notice sanitizer and disposable gloves on the side. Not too shabby for a buffet with a B health dept. rating lol! My family and I took my father-in-law here last Saturday around 1pm for an early Father's Day celebration. We were worried about there being a line to get in due to COVID rules (and other reviews warning about that), but to our surprise, there wasn't! The parking lot was packed, as was the inside, but the restaurant is huge, so we didn't feel it was overly crowded. Despite the fact that almost every table was full in the place, there weren't huge lines at the buffet. The only exception to that was the Mongolian grill part of the buffet, but even that line wasn't too bad. The reasons for the 4/5 were the cleanliness of the place as a whole and every kind of chicken that I tried. CLEANLINESS: They did have a table setup near the buffet with hand sanitizer and gloves. Nearly everyone I saw in line was using gloves to touch the buffet serving utensils, so that was good. Drinks were self-serve. Silverware was all individually wrapped in plastic. Outside of those things, the place was a little grimy. Multiple times, I picked up a "clean"'plate or bowl at the buffet line only to see food stuck to it, so I put it back. I saw multiple other people do the same. My nephew's high chair was dirty. He somehow got jello on his hands from the chair within a few min. of sitting in it. The women's bathroom was sorta like a dungeon and not very tidy. CHICKEN: My husband and I tried sweet and sour, teriyaki, and some other type of chicken on the buffet and all of them were gross. They were chewy, tasteless, and didn't look good. This is despite the fact that the batches we tried were fresh. Steer clear of all Asian-style chicken selections on the buffet! LIKES: I really like the baked swai fish, shrimp salad, baked potato bites, and the old fashioned banana pudding! The chocolate cake at the desert bar was really moist and sweet ... loved the generous frosting on top lol. I wasn't impressed with the seafood here. This place was pretty good considering the price. The buffet had lots of options but a lot of the food tasted the same. There was a decent amount of seafood available from crawfish, mussels, baby octopus, shrimp, and a few others. Covid wise people were SUPPOSED to be wearing masks and gloves while getting food from the Buffett. However a lot of people weren't and the staff was not enforcing it. I went with my sister who has a serious seafood allergy and she was fine... however we did see cross contamination so be careful if you have allergies and come here-maybe we got lucky. My first visit today after "COVID 19 Lockdown". I came during lunch time, I got there around 11:15 am. There was a line already, but the line was moving quick. $11.99 for weekdays adult lunch, it's a VERY good deal! I would not complaint about service, food and COVID-19 protocol bla, bla, bla for a good deal like this. They provide the customers a small station where you can get gloves and use hand sanitizer before you go to the buffet area. Most people from what I can see are obeying these rules, they wore gloves in the buffet area. Mongolian grill still the bomb, I have been coming this place since 10 years ago! I would say this place always be consistent with the "Mongolian Grill" quality! But I think the sauces are too watery, we'll you need to add more than what you think then! Pulled pork also really good! The others are decent Chinese food, such as fried rice, cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, fried chicken wings, egg foo young, fried shrimp, chicken teriyaki and etc. they also have steamed rice near the soup stations. I love the fried banana and the biscuit. These are my favorite desert. Off course, don't forget the ice cream. Overall it was a delicious, fully and good deal lunch! If go to another restaurant, I am sure I would be paying up to $25 plus-plus for the same amount of food what I've got here! This place doesn't look like anything special on the outside. My boyfriend and I came here on a Tuesday night for dinner around 5p and we were pleasantly surprised with the inside. It appears to be very clean. They do have gloves for the customers to wear when handling the food but it is not strictly enforced. Everyone was wearing a mask though. There's a decent variety of food: A few Chinese entrees, seafood, tacos, meats, fish, salad and a Mongolian grill. I had broccoli beef, mushrooms, orange chicken, cheese wontons, fried shrimp, baked salmon, crawfish, a baked potato, a taco, salad. The only complaint I have was that the salmon was dry. I was not wowed by the food but it also wasn't terrible. It's a buffet so the foods not gonna be coming right off the grill when you put it on your plate. I think it's good for the price. They have a pretty good variety of desserts including self serve and rite aid ice cream. The servers/bussers were very friendly and quick to pick up our empty plates. Overall, it's a decent buffet. Giving 4 stars because the food is alright and it's one of the cheaper ones I've been to that is not questionable. Don't know if I'll be coming back here for myself anytime soon. read more

I am going to start with all the positives first: The Mongolian BBQ was delicious and all the ingredients were fresh. Also the desert bar was large and awesome with 1 staff member dedicated to making the desserts. Most of the buffet items were fine, but like most buffets either were a bit dry or not very hot because they sit out for so long. The one big negative: I tried the teriyaki chicken and it was spoiled - definitely not edible. I wanted to tell one of the servers or kitchen staff but there was only 1 guy picking up plates and he didn't really speak English and no-one could be seen putting out or checking on the buffet items. Because I only tried a bite it just gave me diarrhea for the rest of the day, but that tray shouldn't have been put out at all. Buffet is a difficult thing to review, as there are so many different foods and no one tries everything in the restaurant. That said, what got me to give them five stars here is the custom Mongolian BBQ, and the price that's attached to it - $16.59 for all you can eat dinner. The Mongolian is TOP NOTCH. Beef that clearly is a decent cut, thin sliced and ready for cooking (the lamb and the chicken are the same, but I didn't try these), mixed in with whatever veggies and standard Mongolian BBQ sides you can imagine - I loaded up my bowl with pineapple and noodles and had an absolute feast. Seriously better than actual Mongolian restaurants in the area! And then you get dessert to go with it, or any of the other food they have. A lot of Chinese food like cream cheese wontons, orange chicken, sautéed shrimp and teriyaki chicken, along with traditional dinner foods like pork chops and roast beef and the usual sides that go with them. Came in and right away noticed that they received a B for their health inspection and would have left if I was not compromised by my family planning on meeting here. Tables were fairly clean and we were sat right away. The quality of food here can be summed up into one word: unpleasant. If you read their recent health report you'll find some things that make you wish you hadn't because it makes you think twice before eating certain things that can be contaminated easily like salad and other food which made it hard to pick something that I was less likely to get sick from. Why is this even up for debate though? I shouldn't have to feel unsafe in an environment they I paid to be in. For example I noticed that the fish someone from our family picked up was still raw! Food can clearly be seen stored in the back and the quality of the food tastes and feels like it's been reheated at least twice this week. The one special factor was that they had a Mongolian beef area where you can make your own bowl which is a nice touch and was the only decent thing that I ate. But alas like any other consumer I made an attempt to eat the dessert and was fairly disappointed by the dry German chocolate cake and flavorless cheesecake. I really would like to see this business bring in more consumers but I think because of management and team efforts to keep standard quality they are not able to break out of the usual customers they get that somehow keep returning. The price this business has remained stagnant to a specific group of consumers who overlook quality for a favorable price instead. In my opinion charging only $14-$25 per person in this economy will not sustain better food quality and limits what can actually be made there. I give it 2 stars for their helpful staff and Mongolian beef stand. I will never return here and will not recommend this place to others. read more
