Great service, good food at an incredible price. I was happily surprised with my experience here for lunch. I have been to other buffets before and they were mediocre. Here the food is better than average. With a nice Mongolian barbecue area, fresh fruit, and a large selection of freshly grilled meats. The price is amazingly low. Purpose Sabol was the surface. All the servers, the servers/waitresses, and the cooks were all very friendly. Congratulations to the management for putting together a strong team.

Really good wings and egg drop soup.

Paradise Buffet may not be the most grand, aesthetically pleasing establishment but the quality of some of the items and the extraordinary and attentive service are unique and stand out here. Noteworthy: 1) The Hibachi grill- love the staff. They are alert and responsive to special requests eg well done noodles please. The sauces and oils are of good quality. The broccol, onions, mushrooms and cilantro have always been fresh and abundant.( photos). 2) Really delicious, well marinated and grilled chicken wings.( photo). 3) fresh salad bar with good quality a really nice balsamic dressing.. Lots of cut lemons next to a delicious cucumber and tomato salad. 4) from mac & cheese and wings to pizza for the kids to some good fish, steamed fish dishes with very attentive staff looking over and replenishing right away. 5) really good carrot cake and brownies. The team here that picks up the dishes deserves all the credit for their warmth, hard work and patience. Seniors over 60 get a 10% discount and it basically comes to 17 bucks plus drink and tip or so for an awesome lunch. Can't beat that.

AYCE Price....$ affordable Food... good selections of seafood and veggie dishes including a Mongolian cuisine! Desserts ... satisfying the sweet tooth Quick bussing of tables of used plates. Reservations for Group parties available in a banquet room !

A family held their celebration of life post funeral gathering here. I was impressed at how many great selections were available. There are more selections available, than the stomach can hold. The prices are very reasonable. The seafood section, the pot roast and potatoes were great, fried jalapeño, salad bar section, sushi/sashimi sections and deserts; wow what a selection. this buffet has ample parking. In addition to the main dining area there are two different private dining areas adjacent to the buffet. The service was very efficient in removing empty plates from our tables without being obtrusive. Great place to eat.

My receipt with the blue cup for anything besides water. Clear cups which is the same size as this.

We went there for early dinner to celebrate Mother's Day and was very busy for a Monday night and Cinco deMayo. Some items they have aren't labeled correctly and tasted from OK to good. Servers were good at clearing up plates. Prices are reasonable $12.99' for Senior early dinner drinks extra.

A few hits and misses but overall great deals for seniors! Grab your Lola and lolo bring them here for a great experience of a buffet meal under $15 with drink. Plenty of seating and also private room areas for parties or special occasions. Large parking lot was full. Mongolian bbq has lots of ingredients to be creative and generous with whatever makes your tummy say, "mmmmm!" Great service! Never had to ask for plates to be cleared they were on top of it. If you're a macaroon fan these were one of the best! I like crispy edges and these had the perfect toast.

Service is good. Our server took good care of us. Ambiance is ok comfy. Came in time where there is not a long line wait and seating availability is easy to find. Heard weekends are a different story (very busy & crowded). Food was actually good (at least the ones I tried). Better than most buffets I've tried. Price competitive and very reasonable. I liked their sautéed green beans and mushroom. Meat loaf was very good by itself but adding gravy or sauce takes it to next level. Everything I tried was really good. Soups, desserts (not bad at all) specially sesame balls and coconut fritters. Picked the more toastier ones for added bitter sweet flavor (it's just my taste). No doubt will be back for sure.

Lunch price $13.89

Paradise Buffet in Montclair gets my stamp of approval because the food I enjoy eating here is consistently good! I'm not too concerned about everything else as long as my favorites hit the mark--and they do. The variety of soups is great, and the Mongolian grill stands out with its thinly sliced meats that cook perfectly. The Chinese section is solid, and I always make sure to grab some Chinese donuts (a personal favorite). Their desserts are also a nice way to finish the meal. If you're like me and focus on specific dishes at buffets, you'll find plenty to enjoy here. Definitely worth a visit if these are your go-to items too!

They raised the price on Christmas Day although it's posted here as cheaper.
Lisa May B.

Save your money. Came for Christmas and in the entrance screen the price was $18.95 for adults 11a-8pm on holidays. Got there and were told it was $23. Gave it a try because of the reviews and obviously those reviews are not real. This place is horrible. The food has no flavor, the Mongolian bar... a joke. The meat is literally defrosting in bowl they have it in! Normally it should be frozen. Then the guy cooking the Mongolian food leaves the food cooking under a bowl for too long! The food was overcooked, the meat was shriveled up and the noodles were overcooked. The waitresses don't pick up your plates because they are too busy talking about their schedules. Please save your hard earned money.

Our server was really accomodating, tbh, everyone was like that in here from the person who greeted us to the server. Food was amazing. Simple, yet different. We also had their nachos (?), i thought it was but its mostly potatoes with toppings... so full of flavor. We each had different main courses, mostly burgers so we can try it. I was in burger heaven! We had some dessert to share, i did not remember the names of it but it was dense & rich. They also serve mimosa flight and beer flights which my friends really loved, lol. They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

It was so underwhelming. 2 eggs cooked differently, one over hard, one over easy, 5-6 potato pieces and the steak was thin, overcooked, and appeared to be a cheap cut of meat. A New York cut would have been great. Wife mentioned norms has better steak and eggs. Called and spoke with a manager Stephanie, not looking for anything, but to express disappointment in the meal for the high price. She offered to mail a gift card for us and invited us back. I was meeting up with some girlfriends for a late lunch which it also happened to be during happy hours from 3-5pm. Both menus, regular or HH are available if you wanted the full options. It's in the downtown location of Claremont, a cute and quaint area which I've never been to. Street parking is available with 2 hours which we found out later that there's a parking lot behind the restaurant. Which shares with the surrounding businesses. When we arrived, the hostess seated us at one of the long booth along the side right opposite to the bar. Restaurant itself isn't that big compared to the other locations I've visited. It's pretty small and seemed a little compacted. You have the big booth to one side, hi top tables right across from it and then the bar counter. Also tables along the sides and front. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but did picked up a lot during the visit. Everyone was coming for happy hour. HH menu consisted of appetizers starting at 7.00, 8.00, 9.00 and a combo which is a burger and drink or beer for 16.00. Also drinks specials starting at 6.00, 7.00, 8.00, and 9.00 based on what you want. From draft beer to house wine to cocktails. There was a good selection on HH drinks. Food, a pretty decent selection in each of the tier. We started off with a couple of dishes to share before the main. The pretzels which come with three dipping sauce, quite nice and came pipping hot. The deviled eggs, came 5 to order with a chunk of bacon. I haven't had them in a while and they were quite tasty. Easy bite size eats. Think their know for their coconut shrimp which was nice. 6 nice big pieces of shrimp deep fried to a nice golden brown and accompanied by the dipping sauce. Highly recommend it. Of course the mozzarella sticks, plain and simple but nice. 6 pieces and served with ranch and marinara sauce. The spicy tuna with crispy rice. This could be a hit or miss on how it was prepared but it was quite tasty and nice. 5 piece I believe and the rice had a nice crunch but still soft inside. I like it that way versus it being overcooked and crunchy. Lastly the pepperoni pizza. It was quite big and they also offered a hot honey drizzle if you would like it added. It could be a full meal with the size. Loads of pepperoni slices on-top of the thin crust. Starters were great, m entrees ordered but we were getting fuller already. A couple of the protein bowl, Asian ahi salad with mixed greens and the poke bowl. They were all pretty nice and weren't too heavy after the sides. Ahi salad had nice pieces for fish with, mandarin, carrots, peppers, onion, tofu, peas sprouts, cucumber with a ginger miso vinaigrette. It was quite delicious. A nice summer salad that's an easy eat. Of course the poke bowl, simple but delicious as well. Rice, avocado, cucumber, picked onions, edamame, furikake and spicy aioli. And the Mediterranean protein bowl, one with chicken added. Couscous, feta, cucumber, garbanzo, tzatziki, tomatoes and pickle onions. All were fresh and delicious and perfect for a nice summer meal. HH drinks, there was selection of items ordered. The old fashion, a raspberry splash and a couple of other items. Everything was nice and our server was a doll. Very sweet and friendly, didn't remember his name. Everyone that came out with food was sweet when delivering. All very friendly. The service was great and we had a nice meal. Nice location, small but great.

We came on a weekend and it was super busy (as it should be honestly with how amazing the food and service are). The bow tie pasta is served cold and has a vinegary flavor to it, definitely a distinct taste, but I personally loved it because I enjoy sour/vinegary flavors.
