Had our reception here after my son's baptism and it was great! Food was delicious, service was helpful and friendly, and ambiance was chill. Lots of families were here and it filled up super fast! What was unique about this particular buffet was their cotton candy area! My daughter loved the cotton candy. Also, sushi was fresh, salad bar was complete, the noodle area was nice even though I didn't try anything out of that area, it was nice having it part of the buffet. I was genuinely impressed with this buffet. Came here for dinner, suggested by my dad. We weren't crazy about the idea as most buffets have a reputation. But once we saw the food options, we started feeling a little better about our dinner selection. Once we tasted the food, we were instant fans of Paradise Buffet. Their teriyaki chicken was super flavorful! The butterflied, friend shrimp were crispy and tender. I loved the chow mein. The green beans were my favorite side. Other items my table tried were the mashed potatoes and gravy, said to be very tasty. My son was a fan of the French fries and pizza. My husband loved the sushi station. We didn't get to try the Mongolian BBQ station but definitely want to give it a try next time we visit. And I didn't know it at the time, but there's also hand scooped thriftys ice cream that I have to try next time too! The staff were amazing. The Mongolian grill area is a cross contamination catastrophe. 1) Customers get to spoon up raw chicken and other meats, which can easily touch your hand, the bowl where you place your hand- and thus contaminate all of the self serve utensils everywhere in this place. Someone will inevitably touch the raw chicken and then touch other items. 2) The raw food was left to be cooked in one spot, and when it was cooked THEY PUT IT RIGHT BACK IN THAT SAME SPOT WHERE THE RAW FOOD WAS SITTING, AROUND OTHER RAW FOOD!!!!!!! The passage of time is relentless, isn't it? It's been 8 years since I last left a review for Paradise and that's probably the last time my fiancee and I last ate here. Lunch at the time was no more than $10. I think it was around $8 per person. Anyway, I have to give credit where credit is due. Paradise has managed to maintain consistency throughout all these years. Seriously. The food they offered was EXACTLY how I remembered it. Meatloaf, pizzas, taco station, and of course the Mongolian BBQ. The best thing? It tasted exactly how it did 8 years ago. It's pretty impressive to maintain such a level of consistency, especially after COVID. A lot of places took a nose dive in quality after that, but not Paradise apparently. I think they changed the noodles for Mongolian BBQ, but it's a non-issue. It still tastes great regardless. I feel that Paradise deserves that 5th star I never gave them 8 years ago. The food and taste is the same and you get the best value for your money. I'm not a professional chef by any means, but I do know my way around the kitchen and I have to admit: Paradise Buffet is definitely a guilty pleasure. I've been here 3x and it has not disappointed. The food has been great. I'm in love with their egg flower soup!! The Mongolian food area is really good too. The cooks are pretty fast. Food was geared towards seniors, less seasoning, food was consistently rotated within in 2hr time limit for buffets, but every time it was rotated it as left out on the line or tasting like it's been out for over there 2hrs. Food wasn't flavorful, no consistency on cleaning the grills for Mongolian bbq. Mongolian bbq raw meat was cross contaminating with other raw meats such as beef and veggies. Veggies were covered with ice cubes to keep cool instead of fridge. Soup station was over cooked. The restaurant is filling seats which is good but it's starting to be quantity over quality which they are failing at. Buffets regardless need to be Servsafe and unfortunately it's not. A friend I went with immediately had diarrhea afterwards. Please don't take offense just try to do better for the community next time, because you can get these people sick. read more

You pay at the entrance and seat yourself. It reminded me of golden corral, but with more asian things. It was cheap for weekday lunch ($12.99 each before tax/tip). However, the food was pretty disappointing. I only got one plate, and didn't go back for seconds. Some of the things I tried: -Meatloaf was bland, hard, and dry -Pulled pork was super dry and hard -Chicken "nuggets" were like giant patties and tenders, and were hard and dry. -stirred fried rice noodles were very oily and salty -Seafood soup was slimey, chunky, and thick -sesame balls were fine -Thrifty ice cream and soft serve for desserts were good -Cakes were super sweet but not dry Overall, food was mediocre, but it's cheaper than a lot of other buffets.
