I had the mirapakai maamsaam, which I really enjoyed. It was spicy & very flavorful. The price was good.

The food is not very good: Everything with "65" has the same spices, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian and too salty dressing, it is so bad that one can almost no longer taste the actual main ingredient. We asked the server to make the main course less spicy after we got one appetizer but he said that is not possible... This of course opens the question, if they already have pre-made all the food and just warm it up for their guests? Moreover, they did not bring out the food in order: we got parts of the main dish with the appetizers and without service spoons! As a result our rice got cold by the time the other dishes came. Although the server repeated to us what we wanted to order, they screwed up our appetizer order. Worst, there was a blame game between the servers as to who screwed up. Recommendation: We will not return. read more

We have been a very active food frolic family to paradise biriyani point for a long time. But since a couple of months we have been finding very disturbing/annoying experiences! We haven't seen any (Indian restaurants) behaving this badly in US a country which takes people's health very seriously and who are very concerned about what we eat! (i.e ingredients) We went to Paradise biriyani (Fremont) with our 3.5 year old girl who's very badly allergenic to egg! When we were giving order to bearer we DID SPECIALLY MENTION about the egg allergy to our kid. It was well noted but when food arrived we were skeptical about the order and wanted to confirm again with the manager and later came to know from the cook that it has egg content in it! Thank god she didn't eat it! But to our surprise, Manager wasn't paying much attention to the incident as the kid didn't intake the food. Rather, he started explaining that we DON'T hold responsible for the contents as they are pre-made and coming from elsewhere and we are not sure what's the content! It was shocking to know a well know restaurant chain doesn't know the ingredients in the food served! Top of all he didn't have the courtesy to apologize for the incident! After a few grimes within ourselves we went and had the food and left the place. Today, we are in the middle of a fasting(avoiding non-veg) and this time trying the same restaurant but at the dublin location for some nice veg street fried rice and noodles which they are well know for the delicacy! Even after mentioning about the allergies, we saw egg content in the noodles. That too, it was egg shell!!! When called upon the manager he was having a casual expression and he was finding yet another egg shell from the rice which our kid was having couple of minutes back! Infact, he was saying "happened has happened" and just walked away from the place with the food. We are giving away our hope for this restaurant and never ever recommend this place to our friends and families! Extremely disappointed with this place. Ordered food online for to-go today, ended up with couple of issues Issue #1: Scheduled pick-up time was 5:30pm. Ended up getting food at 6:30pm Issue #2: After getting back home, i found all items were not provided Issue #3: Called them to talk about it. This is where it became worse for many reasons. - The guy says "In the copy of your food order, i don't see the item you are referring to". I looked at the email confirmation that lists out all the items i had ordered. He vehemently defends his views. How is it that he is getting something different? - He is not at all customer oriented. A simple 'sorry, there is some disconnect, we shall look at it' or something to that extent which makes the customer feel better - He is extremely rude talking as if 'do whatever you want, i don't care' attitude. The water glasses were dusty and the waiter filled water without cleaning it. They kept giving us mango lassi which we didn't order and finally billed for it even after we had returned the drink. The wait times for take has been around 30 minutes, but everything is fresh and tastes great. There are plenty of options for vegetarians, the portions are large and the food is fresh. It is somewhat an upscale Indian restaurant in comparison to other Indian restaurants. Nice seating, fancy looking plates and bowls(which is probably why the prices are higher). The food is good and spicy. So far we have tried chilli chicken- 4 star, chicken 65- 2 star, biryani- 3 star, gongura goat- 4 star. They don't have tea!!!! An Indian restaurant without chai is unheard of. I asked the guy and he responded " we don't have time to make chai" what!! For real!! read more

This used to be our favorite place, but over time this place has continued to get really bad. The consistency is lost with food taste. Some recipes are extremely spicy (even by Indian standards). The quality of service is progressively getting bad too. Now a days, even the service is not inviting. They would turn down customers 30 mins before the published closing time, and would not sell rotis/naan/bread from their menu unless you buy some curries. Either way sad to see the state of matter and hope the management take account of it and fix it. read more

Its very upsetting to see how management is failing to keep up its good name, especially hiring people who have a very bad attitude and who don't think twice for using F** words to their customers that too in front of small kids just for asking a glass of water. I hope Management realizes what kind of people they are hiring and how they are self-destructing their own good image. Let me warn you there is a waiter who has a beard, slim and tall. if you see him, you better change your table or ask for a different one.
