Or I want to become a bird trainer so I can make parrots and african grays mimick the sound of this fantastic word. OK enough about the darn name. The folks that work here are just darn nice. Last time I was in here they only sold the paper I needed for laser printers but they are so helpful and honest if they don't know the answer to your question. Think all shapes and sizes of paper (not really shapes, they pretty much stick to the rectangle but lots of bulk paper). Long story short after several attempts trying paper- they let me return it even though I had used a few sheets to test it. Their prices are great and they have good ole Texas sized customer service. Soo... back to the name... I asked them where it came from (because I'm a curious girl and all). They kind of collectively scratched their heads and then we all decided it was a play on the words "Fast Clamp It!" That's what you do with lots of paper- you clamp it together, right? Oh well. We all had a good ole hillbilly/blonde moment.

While trying to understand how to make it work with the available printer, I asked a few questions--mainly about layout and how many cards could fit per sheet of paper. The approach I originally had in mind wasn't compatible with their setup, so I was simply trying to brainstorm a workable alternative. To my surprise, Jesse at the front counter told me I was being rude. I'm genuinely unsure how it came across that way, as I remained calm throughout, didn't raise my voice, and wasn't upset--just asking a lot of questions, attempting to find a solution. Unfortunately, based on that experience, I wouldn't recommend using this business.

I tried using actual poster board, however, whenever I use paints and or glitter, depending on the water content of the paint the paper curls. Technically you're not supposed to use etching board outside etching, however, it is a crafters that many people use this for photos. They are $$ at Michael's but I was able to score a decent number with shipping for a reasonable price.

I wrote an email asking for a specific piece of siding with specific dimensions in hardiplank…read moreinstead of masonite., and got a response that said "we have all the standard sizes of hardieplank in stock now" from Dean Apparently it was MY mistake to take that as an affirmative response, because when I drove an hour out of my way to go pick up the board with those dimensions they told me that they only has hardieboard not hardieplank, that it would never work in place of masonite, they didn't have that size in wood either and when I showed them their own email from an hour previous Dean raised his voice and said "I said Standard Sizes!" Apparently he couldn't be bothered to read two whole sentences of email and only read the one half of the word "hardie" and I was supposed to understand that he had disregarded the rest of it. Listen: Maybe if you are a builder or something that is going to buy 2000 board feet they will give you the time of day. But even then I wouldn't want to support their dishonesty. As an individual: Avoid!
