I also noticed they had a banana matcha on the menu and just had to try it. The Flavor Profile: Taste-wise, the brioche French toast was absolutely heavenly and did not disappoint. The rich butter melted easily, the strawberries added the perfect touch, and there was plenty of syrup to go around. The banana matcha was an absolute standout as well, honestly one of the best banana matchas I have ever tried. There really wasn't a single letdown with the food or drinks. The Verdict: This is a wonderful, quiet little spot with great service and easy 2-hour street parking right outside. However, our waitress made up for it completely. She was remarkably attentive, kept our cups topped off, and even offered chiles toriados with our steak. Her exceptional service made me promise to come back that Saturday. Unfortunately, Saturday was a total disappointment. We had a different waiter who not once checked on us-we had to get up and hunt down our own coffee creamer and toast jam. While our food came out in a shockingly fast five minutes, it was cold, and so was the coffee. Paying over $60 for cold breakfast and missing service is unacceptable. The contrast between visits was night and day, and I won't be gambling my money here again.
