This spot is located in a small, unpaved plaza with other small businesses. It is organized and there are available tables/benches that you can use for dining in. Really nice people but the Mango Sticky Rice is not for me. Saw the ad on Instagram for the Mango Sticky Rice and wanted to try it right away. The mango tasted so artificially and didn't complement well with the mango sticky rice. Maybe others might find it good or delicious, but I didn't. So sorry! They moved to a new location on truxton ave and the place is super clean, organized, and has a very cute retro diner decor. Hopefully the owners read this but please consider playing some 50s/60s into the playlist it will match the restaurant so well Staff was helpful and some needed a little more customer service training to uplift customers when ordering and not feel like we are bothering them when ordering. We know it probably wasn't meant like that but it seemed that way or someone else can take it that way. The owners of this establishment are very amazing and can take criticism which we love because that helps a business so much. The food is amazing chefs kiss we are excited to try more from the menu and the cookies are one of the best in town!!! They were sweet for giving one free since it wasn't fresh but that cookie tasted amazing and you can tell it's made from quality ingredients!! The only thing we didn't like was the lattes if u need a quick wake me up these would do but it's a personal preference for us that we aren't really a fan of torani syrup and felt like it lacked it a little flavor. This was a cute little place in the world parking lot where there is a bunch of food trucks. Just wanted something nice and cool to drink. I took the banana drizzle which was really nice to have a little water fuel to it, but it still was nice and a really hot day refreshing just be on the lookout. Magnolia's Kitchen is such a gem! Family-owned. The storefront is adorable, and everything inside smells like pure happiness. Came to pick up dessert for my daughter and I and picked out the stuffed cookies. I ordered the Oreo and Smore flavors. The Oreo was perfectly chcolately and delicious! This place looks so good on Instagram and I finally got a chance to go and grab not one but three cinnamon rolls. It turned out that on the day I went to visit they were having a special where you could buy two for $6 or something like that. So greedy me ordered a standard cinnamon roll, an apple stuffed and a peach stuffed cinnamon roll. I happen to go on one of the hottest days in the week recently... And I went in the middle of the day... So naturally it was too hot to enjoy the cinnamon roll at the shop. The shop is quite cute, it's like a little house in a lot where there are other food stands on the corner of Rosedale and Coffee Road. The service was good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. So I grabbed my cinnamon rolls and decided to have a bite in my car. I tried the peach stuffed cinnamon roll first because I love peaches! The cinnamon roll texture was airy and fluffy. However, I felt it lacked a little bit of sweetness, it tasted more like bread, dough or biscuit dough that you pop open from a can. To my surprise, there was not very much peach stuffing so I was a little disappointed. The frosting was not my favorite either. While it was sweet, it also had a very tangy sour aftertaste. I'd rather have a cinnamon roll with Royal icing that is just poured over the top to set. I did not try the other two because other members of my household got to those before I could. However, they like them. I probably will go back to try some of their other products, their cookies looked amazing and they have all kinds of beverages that would probably hit the spot on a hot day. I've been wanting to stop and try their coffee :) Took them a sec to come to the front to take our order or ask if we had any questions, but it was a slow day so they might have just been busy doing stuff inside. I ordered the combo deal they have going on where you get an entree, latte, and cookie! The breakfast bagel was DELICIOUS! It was like a brioche bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. Then I got the Smore latte (iced). I like my coffees on the sweeter side so they recommended I order with only one shot of espresso (normally they do 2, but they said their coffee was strong and that might make it too bitter for me). So I ordered it that way and it was delicious!!:3 Next we got one of their brow butter brownies! That was really good too! I would buy again. Last we ordered the smores cookie. The cookies I wasn't a fan of. It was too doughy for me, but for some people they like the chunkier kind of cookie dough cookie. Just wasn't for me. My youngest bought me pretty much everything on their menu for this past Mother's Day and all the cookies were delicious! My favorite one was definitely the strawberry shortcake one. I'm not a big chocolate fan, but if you love chocolate then you definitely need to come back and check this place out. I first saw this place on Instagram and I was excited to come check them out. The cookies are freshly baked and they do not skimp. They are a little pricey so if you want to try a bunch of flavors, be prepared. Lines do get long sometimes, but they have a lot of goodies, so I don't think they run out quick. Size is shareable so I would advise br at least 4 people so you guys can share 4 different flavors between you guys and you can get a little bit of another flavor to try. If you have a sweet tooth then this is the place for you, it will definitely hit the spot! read more

I was so excited to try this place but I just wasn't super impressed. I spent about $40 on 2 coffees and 4 cookies. I got 2 of the banana iced lattes. This is one of my favorite coffee drinks and I typically order a banana latte if it's offered. This latte lacked flavor and sweetness but it had a strange texture (probably from mashed up bananas). We got a chocolate chip cookie, Oreo, biscoff, and s'mores cookie. Don't get me wrong the cookies were so good. But for $6.50 a cookie i can't say I'd be returning on a regular basis. If I did return it would definitely be for the biscoff cookie. The service was also extremely slow. Our group ordered from more than one truck. I ordered here before anyone even decided where they wanted to eat and everyone got their food before me and pretty much finished their meals. To me, knowing these cookies don't come out fresh or warmed I didn't really understand what was taking them so long. I'm not the type to say I'd never come back but in the future I really hope they sort out how they operate in the kitchen. read more

Came here because I was looking for a new coffee spot and not my surprise they had many other things aside from coffee. They had cookies, pastries, dirty sodas and some sweet sandwiches like Nutella and banana. They had a cute area for sitting if you want to stay and enjoy your treat although I would recommend they move to a location more slow pace. All you can hear are the cars , not something I want to hear while enjoying my coffee. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. A few months back I stopped here and got a cinnamon roll. It was really big and came in a round foil container about 5"" big. It was very good. So tonight I took my wife here to get a stuffed peanut butter cup cookie but they were sold out. My wife said just get a cinnamon roll. So we did with two forks to share. We sat down to eat it and it was in a small box about half the size of the last time. We both took a bite my wife the outside and I took one from the middle. My wife said "it's really cold and soft, not like before." My bite from the middle was raw dough. I thought maybe we're supposed to heat it up. I went back to the window and asked if we are supposed to cook it. I was told no and then the woman asked to see it. She opened it and used our forks to tear it apart and proceeded to tell me that no it was just soft because it's so fresh and warm. We had seen numerous thing about Magnolia Kitchen on TikTok and were finally in the NW part of town to swing by and give it a try! It was late in the afternoon on a Friday when we were greeted by the gentleman working. All of the cookies were still available and we quickly selected a peanut butter cup and a Biscoff cookie. We were already taking note of everything they offered on the menu when he asked if we had tried their brownies yet. When I responded that it was our first time and that we had seen so many great things, he sent us home with a brownie as well. My husband and I shared each item over the course of the weekend. The Biscoff/cookie butter cookie was 2 inches high (shown in the picture) and had such a good flavor! The peanut butter cup cookie was almost as tall and was a great option too. The brownie was crispy along the outer edges and gooey on the inside. We can't wait to go back and try other items along with their drinks!
