The food menu offered many choices. We started by sharing lamb chops with the guys and I grabbed a taste of the burrata salad from the girl side of the table. Although only open Thursday through Saturday, this warehouse does very well with everything they sell from butcher to baker to fish monger to Mexicali and BBQ. Prices reflect that popularity, so selectivity is key to finding value. It is the only place in the vicinity where we can buy raw cow milk and goat milk that is right from the farm without adulteration. They are naturally sweet and uber organic. Great with morning cereal and creamy in fresh coffee. The shop experience is authentic, too. The cashier is in long cotton dress, bonnet and comely shy smile. Feels like being in Bird in Hand or Intercourse, PA without the drive to Lancaster Co.

We had some light trouble communicating with the staff. It wasn't at all clear who the three different people who visited our table were. The youngest one, in particular, spoke so fast and low that it was difficult to follow him, and even though the room was relatively quiet. The food made up for some of our difficulties. The cioppino, in particular, was excellent, even if it didn't contain exactly the items listed in the menu; it's the nature of the dish. Once we had our meals, everything was quite agreeable.
