After being closed for a month, they are open and seem to have their amazing sandwiches done exactly as ordered.... They make one of the few sesame seed roll Philadelphia-style hoagies in our area. Trenton by and large doesn't have hoagies that a Philadelphia area girl grew up with.... I've always felt Primo came close, so I remained loyal even though no matter who answered the phone, I rarely got what was ordered Sometimes the order was WAY off and I have to mention that twice the manager responded to my complaints with perfectly made replacement orders that he personally made.... And he remembered both times he promised to correct the issues, he remembered me....That translates to me, good customer service and a personal response that let me know he cared about his customers and so, seeing them open and making perfectly completed orders, confirmed that and brings joy to my heart! I hope the new Ewing Town Center brings them lots of business (and they stay on track) ! ! read more

I've become a big fan of this place for a good hoagie. Lots of different varieties, and great taste. I got the Roast Beef Schwartzie, which is basically like a Rueben with roast beef on a hoagie roll. I got to say that I was actually pretty impressed. Everything was portioned out just right and the hoagie had really good flavoring. The bread is crunchy and covered in sesame seeds on top. Overall, this hoagie here stands out from among other places because it is fresh, great flavor, and has a unique taste. Their is no place to sit down and eat, it's all take-out at Primo's. So judging everything is basically on food quality and the pricing. The pricing is no steal, it costs an standard amount here at Primo's. What sets this place apart from the other hoagie shacks is the sheer quality of the food and taste. With so many more options to try here, I'll find myself coming back just to keep trying things that sound delicious. read more

I LOVE Primo Hoagies, fresh quality meats, cheeses and veggies and they use Liscio's wonderful, sesame seed topped freshly baked rolls, truly the best rolls money can buy! They offer a wide array of hoagie combo's and wraps, plus whole pickles, macaroni, potato or tortellini salads and cole slaw, hot pepper shooters, fresh mozzarella, chips, pretzels and a stand up cooler full of ice cold drinks. This location is the most convenient to my home, literally a few minutes drive, however, I do drive to the next town over or the next after trying this location before. Today was my second try, they are just so cheap with the meat! Other Primo's pack it in, here you almost feel like you are eating a ham and cheese salad on a roll. I ordered the Primo ( the mid sized hoagie, as they come in three sizes ). Tavern ham and Swiss cheese, but please add salami and provolone as well. No problem, well maybe not for them, but for me, paying extra for one tissue thin layer of hard salami and I do mean one tissue thin layer well spread out and never over lapping and another of the provolone, what gives with that and the ends of both sides of the hoagie had no ham in it! Stop being so cheap, I say to the young dark haired man that made my sandwich, I'll keep driving to the next town over. read more

I have been to this location a handful of times as I love primos and this is up the street from my house. My most recent experience was today as I finished getting my nails done next door and it was freezing cold out, so I figured rather than order inside I would call and heat my car up. So I called and was placed on hold immediately, which is fine and normal I suppose, except that I was in the parking lot able to see inside as the girls just started doing other things and so after 5 mins on hold I hung up and went inside, determined to order my hoagies. They were apologetic once I mentioned, and ended up making them in under 10 mins, when other visits I have found it can be much longer. I got the sharp Italian and whacked chicken primos to split with my boyfriend, and both were delicious. They make a really good hoagie, but I think the wait time other visits has sort of detracted me from going if I want something fast. The prices are fair, but a more efficient ordering system or maybe an extra person to just take orders when it's busy could help things run a little bit more smoothly at this location. read more

We've had hoagies from here in the past that were good. Then we've had a couple times that made me wish I cooked instead. Tonight my turkey wasn't good. It seemed like it was going bad. OK so what happened to this place? Use to be good. Went in there today got a turkey Schwartzie. Well when I tell you it sucked, I kid you not. 1) The roll was half stale. 2) They were very skimpy with the turkey meat on the hoagie. Once again my order was incorrect and once again we didn't realize it until my husband brought it home. I always order a white tuna with extra sweet peppers. Last time, someone was an over achiever, the bread was soaked with pickle juice. This time I asked for the peppers in the side to make sure the bread wasn't soggy. There is a girl that works at this location, I don't know here name but she is short, thin with brown hair and blonde highlights, I wish I knew her name lol. She is so awesome. She has been there since I started going here about 2 years ago, she should be running this place! Always gets our order right and has a good sense of humor. Also, this location is VERY clean, I work in food and when you work in food, you KNOW when a place isn't clean. Majority of the time that I come here, the sandwich is overflowing with meat and veggies. There has only been 1 occasion where I was kind of disappointed with the amount of meat/veggies in the hoagie but after probably close to 25 visits, 1 isn't a big deal to me. There are no tables, it is take out only, so prepare for that before you go and ALWAYS call ahead if you can. You will wait a good 15 minutes if you don't and I am sure it is easier for the staff. read more

I will be going to Subway next time. Just a bad experience all around. Customer service is apparently at a premium here. Verbal interaction from the girl at the counter was minimal, as if it was an effort for her to interact with me. I've never been here before so I asked what size the sandwiches come in, she simply points to a board on the wall. No "hello, thank you, goodbye"-nada. I'll start off by saying I'm a Primos fan, but this location is awful. I ordered my usual buffalo cutlet, which I order every time regardless of which location I use. The sandwich I received was pathetic. It's usually very close to the pic on the menu. However, this time had barely any chicken and nearly no buffalo sauce. Was all roll, no chicken. And it was $9.85!! The best part?? I called to tell them and the 12 year old they had answering the phone was extremely rude. She told me "I guess I can give you hot sauce if you came in". Really? Throughout the conversation she was short and disinterested and made no effort to improve the situation. My husband commented that he wasn't surprised considering when he picked up the order NO ONE greeted him, the girl just looked at him and the only other employee was sitting there texting. went today at Trevose PRIMO'S to get myself a healthy diet hoagie ham & lite cheese after i ordered it, the bill was $ 8.48 , included tax, i had a $10.00 bill and .47 c, i said , please let me slide for the .01 penny , i'll pay for it next time, i'm a member , he said i can not do that, so i took my money back, only to find out he gave me just the $10.00 bill, not my change, guess it was my fault as i was very upset, i will never go there again, over all the hoagies in general were just average to maybe below average , all depends who was making the hoagie at that time, i never write a review but i must this time , to many places to eat, hope they choke on that penny , not good business at all i'm appalled read more

Outstanding corned beef and turkey Schwartzies as good as Primos makes them. The new staff here in Trevose are somewhat brusque but real hustlers. The woman who could be part-Munchkin is an absolute clean freak. For a minute I thought she was going to take her scrub brush and clean behind my ears. This place has awesome hoagies. Here you can get a real Itailain hoagie. The rolls are perfect and the luchmeat is very fresh. The place is very clean and the people working at the counter seem very nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable too. I try not to eat too many hoagies as I know they are not the best for you, but Primo Itailian hoagies make for a great treat when I want to treat myself. read more
