the experience was lovely it was the product that was a disaster! I don't know if you forgot a ingredient but this was not eatable

I needed to get some Florentines for one of the sweetest people I know. So I came to Fritz's. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted so nicely. I got a couple of small packages of Florentines. And then I got some Italian cookies. I happen to come across some itty-bitty pumpkin cupcakes! I'm deleted with my purchase. I can't wait to give these. - mostly- as gifts. It's always well received when I bring these to any home as a hospitality gift. The staff here is so kind and welcoming and helpful!!!!? I'm so grateful to all the staff that I their job and take care of us so well. read more

Their baked goods are never a disappointment! This past June we celebrated Mom's 92nd bday. I was late in ordering a sheet cake and glad I was. They suggested a sticky bun sheet cake with icing designs. Well, this was a hit at the party. Mom's company couldn't stop talking about the design and of course the taste. Ilthey literally just melted in my mouth. The staff is friendly and informative. The store is bright and clean. I definitely recommend this bakery! read more

Waking into this bakery is an experience one to itself, the air has delicious calories! Everything looks great and the cookies are next level. I do not live close but like to stop while in the area. The sticky buns with cream cheese icing seem to be one of the top sellers and they are excellent. The cream cheese icing is so good they actually sell it separately if you want extra. It is as good as you can get , not too sweet and just perfect. The batch I had wasn't honestly that great , not alot of cinnamon and too much dough , very doughy and not that fresh. I heated up in the microwave and it was much better. The actual cinnamon bun is great , I have had better but the cream cheese icing takes it to the next level. Definitely recommend trying this establishment if you haven't already! read more

Baked goods are outstanding, and the cakes are amazing and of course, as always, the sticky buns are out of this world!

Love this bakery. You can get everything from cookies to cakes to cinnamon buns which are to die for. They also sell extra icing to go on top of the cinnamon buns and wow oh wow so delicious. Staff are always helpful and friendly, and are able to get the lines down quickly. There are definitely some lines and it gets busy. The last time I had gone it appears they had bought out another building and look to be expanding, so that's pretty awesome. Looking forward to seeing how they set it up. read more

My employee treated my to 2 desserts from the bakery. I have 2 different opinions. 1st one is in regard to the raison/nuts sticky buns. I've a lot on sticky buns in my life but I have to say, I'm SOLD ! The quality amazing, serving size amazing and the flavor, double amazing. It had my licking my fingers, come on , don't act like I'm the only one. If you've never done it, stop over there and grab some. A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+ I'm the type that likes to share the good before the bad. I've only had a few butter cakes in my life, enough to know what's good and what's bad. Appearance 5, texture 5 and because I didn't like the look or the texture, I didn't even taste it. My employee did and it was like soup on the inside. C+C+C+C+C I gave it a C+ because it smells soooooo good and the delicious sticky buns help with the grade. I was told it melted that's why it looks dropped and soupy. I honestly believe them because so many people rave about them. My employee is returning it to grab another one so I'll do another review with the new butter cake. Fingers crossed and stay tuned! I would still recommend them :) read more

Absolutely the best sticky buns and the most delicious icing ever. Cheese danish was phenomenal. Cherry danish was so fresh and delicious. My daughters loved the brownies and carrot cupcake/muffins! I ordered my first cake from Fritz's for my daughter's bridal shower. I called the Langhorne location. The only thing that I knew was that I wanted a C.C pound cake. The girl asked me what I wanted written on top. I had no clue. She asked me a couple of questions. She put me on hold. She came back with something that sounded GREAT. When I picked up the cake a few days later I had no idea how Beautiful it would be. It was amazing. So many complements from my guest on the detailing that was put in to this cake. Then we cut it ! My guests were now saying that this was the best pound cake they've ever had. Thank you to the whole staff. I know where I getting my next from. read more

They serve good cinnamon buns but the cookies stink. The girls that take your order are in a rush and rude. They also cannot follow direct requests for balloons on a cake or things like how to spell Bruce. read more

Walked into the expanded Fritz Bakery in Bensalem. I don't understand as to why they bought another additional store? Store might be bigger, but, there are not any additional cases for more choices. Looks empty... Disappointing! And if they are deciding to expand; add anything, this should have been figured out before opening the new store/addition. Now, lets get to the bakery. Bought what they are known for, cinnamon buns. Again, another disappointment. I bought them for someone and even that person who is not critical at all, made a negative comment. The buns seemed not to be baked enough, doughy/gummy. The taste was not there! More sugar tasting with a gummy after taste. Don't understand why places have to change something or hire people that eliminate or rush through things. It effects what was good into a questionable or not so good outcome now. read more

This is only a review of their sticky buns. A house guest brought us a ring of their sticky buns. They were fantastic. Sticky buns are one of those food groups that are pretty good even when it's bad. This was absolutely fantastic. , best sticky bun I ever had . The caramel, cream were out of this world and texture of the bun was perfect. That warm, gooey, pull-apart perfection of a this awesome cinnamon bun is a fleeting pleasure. It seems that in a remarkably short time, they transform from a heavenly treat to a hardened, pastry. The culprit behind this rapid staling is a scientific process known as starch retrogradation, a natural enemy of freshly baked bread of all kinds, When you bake your cinnamon buns, the starch granules in the flour absorb water and swell, creating the soft, fluffy texture you cas the buns begin to cool, the reverse process, retrogradation, kicks in. The starch molecules start to recrystallize and force the water out, leading to a firmer, drier, and ultimately stale texture., causing them to go stale much faster than if they were left at room temperature. * Moisture Migration: The delicious, sugary filling and the often-present cream cheese frosting can also play a role. The high sugar content in both the filling and the icing can draw moisture out of the dough itself, contributing to a drier crumb over time. * Improper Storage: Exposure to air is a major contributor to staling. If your cinnamon buns are not stored in an airtight container, moisture will evaporate from them more quickly, hastening the staling process. Keeping Your Buns Softer for Longer While you can't completely halt the staling process, you can certainly slow it down and enjoy your homemade cinnamon buns for a little longer. Here are some tips: * Store Them Right: Once your cinnamon buns have cooled completely, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. This is the single most important step to prevent them from drying out. * A Gentle Reheating: The magic of a warm cinnamon bun can be recaptured. A brief stint in the microwave (about 15-20 seconds) or a few minutes in a low-temperature oven can help to re-gelatinize the starch molecules and soften the bun, temporarily reversing the effects of staling. read more

Another one of my absolute favorite bakeries. I was first introduced to this bakery at least 40 years ago as a child through my grandparents who frequented this establishment when Fritz started out in Croydon, PA. They are most famously known for their sticky buns and butter cake. They are an absolute must try if you have never been here. My most recent visit after they moved to get those delicious sticky buns and butter cake was to get a special ordered Blippi cake for my Sons birthday when he turned 3. He's 9 today. This review is a long time coming, but here it is. Hats off to you and the delicious butter cake and sticky buns with the cream cheese frosting that has become my favorite version. Also, an outstanding job and standing ovation on my son's Blippi cake. You helped make his birthday most memorable and he still talks about it and remembers to this day! Fantastic job. You are a long ride for me, but I'll be in again soon. Thanks so much! read more

Short and simple folks. What some have referred to as The OG Cinnamon Bun with Cream Cheese Frosting, get it. I have an unhealthy obession with staying fit however you really have to make an exception to try this item. They sell addtional containers of just the cream cheese so you can add however much cream cheese frosting to your cinnamon bun as you see fit. The small container in the picture believe is only .95 cents as well!! Word of mouth I know for fact has spread from Bensalem to at least the Conshohocken regions as my coworkers from my last spot I worked at brought these in on special occasions. If you live life without trying these and live in the tri-state area shame on you!! read more

It was my first time having it here and I was not prepared for what my mom brought home. I must stress that its a beloved bakery so it could just be me. Ive only had butter cake at two other places. I know its a delicate cake but I was not prepared for how delicate when I had it today. Butter pudding is the only way I can describe it. read more

Awful..disappointed for birthday cake. They cheaped out on the filling by running the frosting in the middle halfway. They only give you a small amount of filling that you paid extra for. Cake tasted premade and frozen not fresh. Way too expensive for the tasteless cheap cake we got. Better off getting a supermarket cake! Also, not super friendly when you go in to pick up.
