We come here for the hamantaschen (poppy is the our favorite ), European style rugelach, crumb cake, challah, and sufganiyot (donuts) in the jelly-granulate variety (our favorite). I brought the chocolate rugelach to a holiday party and they were highly complimented and one of the most consumed treats. They also have babka in different varieties (chocolate, cinnamon, almond, etc.) We've ordered pastries for pick up (you pay ahead of time) and our experience with that has been great. read more

I used writing this review as an excuse to go. I grew up coming here and have always loved the Elmo/Cookie Monster Cupcakes. They're so light and fluffy and have the perfect amount of icing. The sprinkles are soft and a wonderful addition to the cupcake (from an avid sprinkle hater). We also will purchase the Challah which is perfect for french toast. In all honesty I had to dock a star as their cakes always look good, but tasted mid at best. Another reason being it is quite an expensive place. Sometime there are great sales, other times, paying full price will put a dent in your wallet. The staff is always friendly and show their care despite typically being teenagers. I also must credit them for being open so late, given they're a bakery. Great memories and I plan to come many times in my future! read more

Gender Reveal Ruined-- Followed By The Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced I have never written a negative review in my life, but this experience was so upsetting and handled so poorly that I feel obligated to share it. I ordered a gender reveal cake and was extremely clear from the very beginning that this was for a gender reveal and that I needed blue on the inside and white on the outside. When I placed the order, I gave very specific directions: white on the outside, blue on the inside. I even provided a photo of exactly what I wanted. Later that same day, I called back to confirm again: white on the outside, blue on the inside. Then when I picked the cake up, I had a third confirmation point. They read the instructions back to me and again confirmed it was supposed to be white on the outside and blue on the inside. I even verbally confirmed one more time before leaving the store. So there were three separate touch points of communication confirming the exact same thing. This cake was for my first baby's gender reveal. This was a once-in-a-lifetime moment for my husband and our family. I spent time planning this, buying flowers, an outfit, and setting up something incredibly special for us. When we cut the cake during the reveal -- while filming -- the inside was completely white. No blue. Nothing. The entire moment was ruined. My husband found out we were having a boy in the most anticlimactic, confusing way possible. It was heartbreaking and honestly humiliating to have planned something so meaningful only for it to completely fall apart because of a mistake that was confirmed THREE separate times. What made this exponentially worse was the customer service afterward. When I called the next morning, I was met with rudeness and condescension. Later, when someone finally called me back, I was literally asked if I was "sure" there wasn't blue inside -- as if I didn't just cut into and dig through my own cake. I had to prove their mistake by sending photos. During that same call, I explained how rude the first person I spoke to had been. The response I got was essentially, "Yeah... she really shouldn't be answering the phone" and that she's not very good at customer service. That honestly left me speechless. If someone is not good at customer service, why are they the person answering customer calls? Especially when those calls are about major life events and serious issues? It was one of the strangest, most unprofessional interactions I have ever had with a business in my life. At no point initially did anyone apologize. I had to be visibly upset and crying before anyone even attempted to say sorry. Even the owner never called me directly -- he texted asking me to call him about a refund. When I did call, there was still no real apology, just discussion about money. Let me be very clear: This was never about the $50. This was about ruining one of the most meaningful milestones of my life and then treating me like I was an inconvenience when I called about it. People make mistakes. I understand that. But how you handle the mistake is what defines your business -- and this was handled terribly from start to finish. I have never been treated so badly by so many people from one business, especially over something tied to a major life event. I will never use this bakery again, and I will absolutely be sharing this experience with others so they can make an informed decision. If you are trusting them with an important life event, I strongly suggest reconsidering. read more

I'm a big fan of local bakeries, and I don't live close, so we got some stuff to take home. Crumble Cake. Nice flavor, pleanty amout of crumble, just a bit dry, but not a deal breaker. I would buy it again. 4 stars. Blueberry Breakfast Cake. I liked it but I didn't love it. To me, the blueberries tasted like they came out of a can, and I didn't expect that. The cake was moist, but for me, it was a little too sweet. I wouldn't buy it again but that's my taste. Give it a try and make your own decision. 2.5 stars. Cannoli Cupcake. Not one of those huge cupcakes that you can't fit into your mouth, and you need a fork and knife. Tasty with a little Cannoli on top. 3 stars. Creme Brulee with chocolate mousse topping. Stopped in here after some nearby fishing on a Sunday morning. There were quite a few customers inside that seemed like regulars picking up party cakes and fresh donuts/scones. The staff was nice and answered all of my questions. The girl who helped me out gave me a little tour of their their bakery items, but then pointed out "what their known for" which were high hats and petit fours. So, I purchased several items including: petit fours, high hats, crumb cake slice, cannoli's, chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes. I spent $59 and change. I brought it to a friends house and we tried a little bit of everything. The cannoli wasn't bad/average. The high hats were fresh and very tasty. My friends loved the petit fours, the chocolate chip cookies were fresh and average. I really enjoyed the crumb cake, it had a very nice cinnamon bite to it. The kids ate the cupcakes and of course there were no complaints. Everything was fresh, the place looked clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Found this cute little bakery when we came around Halloween and the Canaloween that was nearby. My friend mentioned that this is a good neighborhood bakery and we just needed something to fill our sweet tooth so this was the place we had chosen. There were so many goodies to choose from, but I know my daughter loves cupcakes, so that was a must have, and I ended up getting a mini pumpkin pie which looked good and some cookies. My mom got some fresh bread, cookies and cake. I was surprised about how much products they had even though they were about to close, but guess they get a lot of customers, which is always a good thing. We ended up just taking the goodies home and eating them there. The cupcakes were dry and I wasn't a fan of them, but they were on the discount rack so many they were old or something, I don't know, but the cupcakes were a waste of 3 dollars. I literally threw them in the garbage because no one was going to eat them. The mini pumpkin pie was the favorite of all things and tasted so good! I go here every winter while visiting my in-laws in Yardley and always find something yummy! My favorite thing about Cramers is that you can order specialty things that aren't always in the bakery. I had been craving cinnamon babka for years and when I asked them if they ever mmake it, they had me order one to pick up in ttwo days, easy peasy ! I was sooo excited and it was absolutely delicious! On any given winter day, you'll find cupcakes, pies, rugalash, pastries galore. They also have a yummy looking Yule log during the holidays. Come on Monday everything is 50% off....literally everything....chewy brownies, creamy donuts, crispy eclairs.....ok you get my drift. I came here on a whim after breakfast, more out of curiosity if the Cramer's bakery was an old sign and this was really just a CVS. I peered through the window and barely saw anything in the cases so I figured they were closed. A friendly employee came out to say they were open; once inside I was informed that Mondays they do no baking and sell only the things they have left from the day before.....at 50% off! As I saw everything on the table I thought this place must be very high end gourmet, with chocolate dipped pretzels and perfectly baked croissants.....but after getting more than half a dozen donuts, 2 croissants, 3 raspberry tarts, 2 brownies and an elephant ear ALL FOR ONLY $9....I decided this is my new favorite bakery! I ate the chocolate dipped elephant ears which are to die for! My hubby loved the cream filled donut, so I took a bite, and that cream filling was like nothing I have ever had. I was so used to custard inside those donuts, but this is white fluffy and perfect! I am currently nibbling on some brownie and contemplating adding some famous halo tajitian vanilla to it to be a total fat a$$ before new year's day strikes. I can't imagine any of the other pastries being any less delicious than the previous, I will definitely be returning. read more

Not happy with this place. they spelled my name wrong on numerous cakes over the years. when i told them it's was wrong they scraped it off and tried to rewrite it..i could have dug it out better with my finger! They couldn't even color match! the receipt had the correct spelling but the cake didn't. i ordered fresh quiche and received it like a frozen block.. this was supposed to be used that day for a brunch. no way that was fresh! i purchased cookies from there for a pound but they gave me 8 oz.. yet charged me for the 1pound. spoke with Tom numerous times who didn't want to be bothered. ( birthday cake) Please note, cramers will sell you a day old birthday cake, and admittedly tell you it's a day old, but won't discount the price. So why not purchase a fresh cake? They sold my husband a day old (or more) cake for the same as a freshly baked one. Plan ahead and find another bakery. This one does not deserve the business. They created the cake for my daughter's bat mitzvah from a picture we sent them. They helped me with what to order. I had originally asked for a larger size cake and they told me it was too big for my event (they were right) and that saved me a good deal of money. The cake looked amazing and tasted even better. I placed a small personal order on December 19th for pick up on Christmas Eve (2 days before the order deadline). However, I did not receive a confirmation email or phone call the following day or the next day. With the order deadline looming I called to check on my order, repeatedly, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday but I just kept getting a busy signal. I finally got through this morning and was NOT surprised when the "customer service manager" claimed they had not received my order. I couldn't remember when exactly I had placed the order off the top of my head because I haven't been feeling well but I knew it was a couple of days before the deadline posted on the website. (After my call I checked my screenshots and found a capture of the order screen dated 12/19.) Her response was "well, the deadline changed" and "we don't take orders without payment." Mind you, the website has no option for making a payment when placing an order online. When I tried to say that I was concerned they hadn't gotten my order when I didn't get a confirmation so I had tried calling, the "customer service manager" cuts me off and starts talking over me every time I try to say anything! Not once apologizing that my order was lost or asking what I had ordered or offering anything helpful what so ever. When I asked if I could finish my sentence she just started talking over me again. I've been a customer there and been recommending them to people for about 35 years! I have even used them for corporate catering when there are bakeries closer to the office but I don't think this "customer service manager" knows the meaning of customer service. I've worked customer service - retail, call center, food service, educational institution - for many years and have even trained customer service reps so I know how hard the job is but there is no excuse for rudely cutting off and talking over a customer, especially when you're supposedly the customer service manager. read more
