So i wanted to share some successes that I experienced today during my trip to your store. I was in the mood for a hoagie style sandwich and recalled the numerous social media ads I had seen for $12 sandwiches, so I went to your store for a hoagie when I normally would not, a win to your social media and marketing people. I grabbed my sandwich and sought out help for a side of hot peppers for my sandwich and couldn't find them. I then had the pleasure of meeting Michelle who was in the area (she was near the sushi/pizza area). I explained to Michelle what I was looking for and she stopped what she was doing and enthusiastically helped me with getting some peppers for my sandwich. She was kind, engaging and genuine - so congratulations on your employee screening and training, she's a winner. Lastly, I was a little annoyed about the side lot being tented and closed. When I brought it up to MIchelle she proudly said that it was closed for an employee event and went on to explain how valued your culture has made her and other employees feel. They feel appreciated and that is a win for you as the management team. Victoria and Patricia are working hard and filled with positivity. Patricia was all good vibes. I really felt so welcomed. I was looking for mushroom coffee and Victoria pointed me in the right direction to the coffee. Also made me crave some earl Grey tea! Lovely displays! I did get a tin of bustelo coffee, some stuffed dates and my bff picked up some pints of icecream to give Ft, pistachio, cinnamon & rum raisin. We walked around and enjoyed the breakdown of all the valentine displays. Very exciting! So many hardworking employees here shifting stuff around to make it easy for all of us. We have been patronizing this Wegman's for approximately 2 and a half years. we have always had a good experience until 2 Sundays ago. We usually bring our dogs along with us when we go out and have never had a problem. We have a routine when we visit the store one of us will go out and do the shopping while the other stays in the car with the dogs. It was a beautiful day and not hot or humid. The manager of the store decided to call the police on us for having the dogs in the car. We are never going back to Yardley ever again. read more

Wegmans are always crazy packed, but anyway I went in to check for birthday cakes because the cakes they got for people at my job were pretty good. A small cake was like $16... they had slices for sale but even they were like $5 a pop. Aside from that they had a decent international food section, and their health/ granola bar section rivals Whole Foods pretty well... read more

Yardley, PA I just had to post this. I have never in my life seen such blatant stupidity. I indicated no replacement in my order and made copies of the order just in case. I order 3 cases of Wegmans water (24 in pack) which the Instacart worker indicated that she was not able to scan. So, she decided to give me 3 packs of Poland Spring Water (6 in a pack). I clearly put in my order no replacement but due to ignorance and stupidity she took it upon herself to spend my money as she pleased. I was charged $19.17 for 3 cases of water 24 in each pack but I received 3 cases of water 6 in each pack for the same price in other words she was trying to rob a senior. To me that is fraud and deceit and it is people like her that cause people to not want to order from Wegmans. Her behavior is dangerous and needs to be addressed before something happens with another customer. I come here every Sunday with a very list. A lot of produce, (an overflowing cart on its own) and a second buggy also almost overflowing itself with everything else. From the first time I came everyone has been nothing besides welcoming, helpful and always doing so with a smile and never making me feel like an annoyance. From needing cases of produce from the back, leaving my do at cart to finish shopping knowing it will be as I left it, to checking out, everyone always al smiling helpful cheerful faces and attitudes!!!! Walking through Wegman's is like walking through a food museum. So many creative, fresh, and amazing foods all displayed with such perfection. It's almost overwhelming. what I really like is all the employees seem very happy and it shows. I was blown away today as a huge fresh "tile" fish was being carved in front of us. It was mesmerizing. (Hopefully you will see my video). I have never seen this at a super market before. It was over the top brilliant. Not to mention the fact that I've never even heard of "tile" fish before. It was so fresh it made me want to buy some. I appreciate a store that cares about their customers. Thank you Wegmans. read more

I was so excited to have this store open but it's missing the things I like most. Made to order sandwich's and their $10-$12 meals to go where you pick your sides. Very disappointed in this location. It's been open since march and is down the street from me. I've gone twice. There are about 6 supermarkets in our little town. The Wegmans proving isn't competitive and it makes the other options more affordable and easier to walk. I hope they rethink the layout and bring some of the usual Wegmans offerings to this location. read more

The first impression walking in to this brand new Wegmans is that it is smaller than the sister store across the river in West Windsor, NJ. The second impression is that it has some confusion about its identity. Does it want to be a downsized warehouse store, or a semi-traditional supermarket, or several different shops under one roof with little interaction with each other? It could easily be a green grocer, a wine & beer outlet, a deli, or a bakery, given the layout and unnatural size of each component in relation to the whole. Plus, it is certainly not a discount house given the prices for items we could compare with nearby alternatives. Competitive; yes. Ass kicking saving; nope. So, you would have to have a reason to come here aside from the overall attractiveness of the facility. The outsized dimensionality of this Wegmans actually made me a little uncomfortable. It felt like the company had sent out its spies to determine what was hot in the area, and returned with a plan to duplicate the best of commercial local Bucks County in one place. Pizza shop? Check. Deli sandwiches? Check. Alcohol aisle+? Check. Greens/Dairy? Check. Fresh bread/desserts? Check. Etc. It even sold boxed tomato pie, just like Costco did a few months ago. We were left feeling like we were shopping in a copycat store, rather than a space noted for its originality and going its own way. Everyone we encountered who worked there was friendly and helpful, as expected. The weirdness of this identity crisis is not their fault. BTW, we only purchased a large pineapple and that tomato pie from all the things we saw. The fruit isn't ripe yet, but the TP was below average, with too thin layer of tomato sauce over too thick layer of pizza dough. I searched in vain for the maker of this pie, but that name was not listed beyond being distributed by Wegmans. Probably a good thing to protect that industrial bakery from harming its reputation. Maybe Wegmans will figure out what it wants to be here in Lower Makefield and reconfigure things to feel more appropriate. Hope so, because otherwise it offers little advantage to its surrounding competition. read more

Here to help raise the stars for Wegmans ! Sushi is great, meat & fruit are always good! The employees are always so sweet & helpful. Wegmans was super generous donating to out non profit preschool! It is pricey but you get what you pay for. All of the sushi is gluten free and lotssss of GF options throughout the store! Great addition to our area. Awesome spot for young families to grab dinner and little tables in the back for kids to sit at! read more

I'm a fan of Wegmans and have eagerly awaited the opening of this location. Now that the hoopla of the grand opening has passed and the shopping experience can be fairly evaluated, I must say this store is disappointing when compared to other Wegmans stores I've happily shopped at. For starters, this store surely must have pre-loaded their produce department to be at its fullest on opening day. That said, I've bought produce items twice here already that were wilted and soft and had to be discarded within 2 days. For me, Wegmans shopping is foremost about that beautiful selection in the produce department. Not so much at this store. Ready-to-eat foods are sub-par. There is no made-to-order sandwich counter at this store. But there is an island of cold cases full of sandwiches on breads, wraps and hoagie rolls. The problem is, the bread gets weird in a refrigerated box with sandwich goods and it makes the bread chewy and damp. I positively won't make that mistake again. Over at the sushi bar, there are 3 or 4 people making sushi. I noted that my Wegmans go-to, the skinny roll, is easily half the size I've had recently in other Wegmans stores. Yet, the price is still premium for this very tiny roll. I opted instead for a spicy tuna roll and ate it onsite in the dining area. It had a weird, mismatched sauce on it that tasted, well, ungood. As another reviewer pointed out, the pasta selection is meager, between Wegmans brand and Barilla. This is true in other areas of the store as well, such as in salad dressings and canned vegetables. And the Wegmans brand groceries are certainly not what you'd call 'a bargain;' they are merely less expensive than the brand name items. It is worth noting that this store is 88,000 square feet. To regular folks like me, that sounds huge. But when you learn that the Warrington Wegmans is 140,000 sq feet, and the Princeton Wegmans is 120,000 sq feet, you realize that it's 30-35% smaller store than other Wegmans you may have seen. This means, they're having to be choosy about what gets into the store. For example, this store has no pharmacy but instead has a good sized section for wine and beer. This also accounts for why there are so few brands represented on shelf-stable goods. In general, the prices are higher than average, but certainly not the most expensive in the area either. Like any grocery store, you'll have to know the prices of your household faves and check the shelf prices here to see how they compare. read more

Relative to Giant, ShopRite and McCaffreys in the Yardley PA area, Wegmans prices are significantly higher. I have shopped in many other Wegmans over the years, and was so pleased that we were getting one in the area. The Yardley store is huge. And not so easy to navigate. Though there are a lot of workers about, not one of them seems glad to have a job there. The quality of the produce here is hit or miss. Mostly miss. The prepared foods are absurdly expensive for the quality one receives, which is nothing special. Wegmans selection of ethnic ingredients is great, though. I would be willing to pay their higher prices IF there were any customer service in this location. Without exception, every worker here has acted put upon during checkout or when asked where a product might be. I needed some cash and had to wait in a line at "customer service" to check out. Again, the person there acted as if she were doing me a favor by taking my money. Who trains these people? Like a fool, I kept going back, hoping for some improvement. Low quality store, top to bottom. Unbelievably expensive as compared to McCaffreys, Giant, Acme...etc etc. The hot bar is ridiculously priced offering prepared food one would expect in a High School cafeteria (noting that comparison is actually an insult to a HS Cafeteria). This particular location and chain is reliant on the affluence of the geographic area(s) they operate in, as opposed to the quality of product and service. As a 20+ year Wegmans fan, I was super excited for this store to open and pretty disappointed once it did. As others highlight, it's smaller than the Princeton store with worse selection. I can't believe that they would open a store without a sandwich shop (and I see from the reviews that I'm not the only one). Some things are competitively priced, and some things are crazy expensive. Overall, I'm not really sure what Wegmans brings to Yardley. Before they arrived, I thought I'd be a regular shopper there. Instead, while there are a few products I like to pick up here every couple of months, I rarely find a reason to go. I reached out to Wegmans corporate to register my thoughts as a longtime customer and they couldn't even be bothered to send me a form letter response back. Novelty is the only reason to go to this store. I'd rather go to the Wegmans in Princeton because then you can still go to the Shoprite across the street for all the basics that Wegmans is too fancy to have (or have at a reasonable price.) read more

So wife and I went to shop at Wegmans. She is a Mccaffreys Trader Joe's and Whole Foods shopper. It's a good size store with different selections than the other stores but-- after eating what we bought was rather disappointing. We first visited each isle- when in pasta section there was no San Giorgio dried pasta which we love and is a major pasta maker--only Wegmans and Barilla brand. Meat dept was nothing special- but we bought a flank steak cooked it - no flavor and chewy even though I cut against grain and have prepared this recipe many times. Our experience again confirmed Mccaffreys meat Piedmont brand is still king. In the seafood area they did not have Halibut that we were going to have for dinner that night. The bakery dept is nice and big with selections you won't find at the other stores- tried banana pudding it was good as well as the small order of strawberry short cake. Bought some cranberry orange scones they were lacking in both fruit so we threw them away. We eat organic vegetables- they have a small area for this but they did not have organic eggplant we were looking for. We purchased a bag of organic grapes they were so sour we threw them out. Now if you don't like to cook they do have a lot of prepared foods grab and go so it's great for the person who does not like to cook. So we weren't wowed- it's ok but we will only visit on occasion and not regularly. Prices were fair some higher. read more

My first time to this Wegmans this past week. 2 shopping trips and both times brought home bad pre-packaged produce, you don't know until you get home and open it and neither had a packaged date. Mold on raspberries and rotting mini cucumbers. For the price point you need to do better. read more

High prices compared to the other grocery stores in the area! As for the prepared foods, go out to a restaurant. Would probably cost less. Not a store to do regular shopping. read more
