The one star review has absolutely nothing to do with the staff and or the quality of the product. The staff is outstanding and always friendly and accommodating!!! The portions and the cost of the product is completely ridiculous. 29.00 for a box of mini cookies that are the size of chips ahoy...seriously 12 cookies no bigger than your standard supermarket brand pre packaged cookies. There is no possible reason to charge this amount, other than people with $ are pretty dumb....Me included (minus the money part...just dumb).

I was never at one of these shops. I had tried their cookies at my office about six months ago. I thought they were good. We were greeted with "welcome to crumble" when we walked in. I could see about six employees working behind the counter. You place your order and pay on a screen then they call your name when your order is ready. Would I go back? If I was shopping and one was there. I wouldn't wait in a line or travel. The cookies are yummy and big and the presentation is nice (long pink boxes for four cookies).

Crumbl Cookies in Newtown has been open about a year. The shop is bright white and very clean. The staff are helpful and friendly, especially with me because of ordering through Yelp which is not monitored well compared to working with the company website. Apologies. That won't happen again. I ordered four of the available goodies of the week; Red Velvet, Raspberry Cream, Mother's Special and Lemon Cream(?). They were packaged in their beautiful box for around $18. Certainly an extravagance justified only by special days like Mothers! These disks are large and well appointed with their high end toppings. The creams are rich butter cream; the fruits thick and intensely flavored. The dough bases are less memorable, and somewhat understated compared to their topsides. I could only comfortably eat a quarter of a cookie at a time due to the cloying sweetness. Coffee or water were required to wash everything down. Really, fructose gone wild! My palate must be getting more sensitive because I didn't enjoy the experience as much as expected. These boys put me into sugar overload. Wonder if their corporate brain trust has thought about making a healthier coinage?

Ever since my first Crumbl visit, this chain has become a major favorite to satisfy my major sweet tooth. I don't tend to come at a routine frequency; I tend to base my visits on the weekly flavor lineup. I stopped at this location when I was in the area. There were a few weekly flavors around St. Patty's that caught my attention. This specific location has both order screens and standard ordering at the register with an employee. All Crumbl locations have online order for pickup as an option as well. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by several employees working behind the counter. They offered help immediately. I let them know I'd be taking some time to decide on the order screen. They still made sure to offer any additional help that I'd need in the meantime. The major trap I fall for often is when I want to try 2-3 flavors, but the 4-pack makes more sense price-wise. The main flavors that caught my attention were the Mallow Crème ft. Lucky Charms and the Butterscotch Chip. The next size larger than a single cookie box is the 4-pack. Since I was "kind of curious" about the Cookies & Cream, I finished my pack off with that and the Sugar (Gold Coin). My cookie box was ready in less than two minutes. After calling my name, the employees were attentive enough to open my box and confirm that the flavors inside were the ones that I ordered. It was time for the coveted tasting of these cookies. I bit into the Mallow Creme ft Lucky Charms first. My sweet tooth liked this enough to get through the entire cookie quite quickly. I had to do a small bite of each of the other ones to try them on the first day that they were fresh. No doubt, the Butterscotch Chip tied with the Mallow Creme. They're obviously two different flavor profiles, but both bit had unique and distinct flavors. I think people with less of a sweet tooth than mine would have definitely liked the Butterscotch a lot. The Cookies & Creme was OK, just nothing special. Quality and texture were good, but there was nothing that made this very different from other cookies and cream combos that I've tried before. The Sugar (Gold Coin) was my least favorite, granted it wasn't meant to be more than a standard sugar cookie. This was a refrigerated one with a buttercream style frosting. Even though the refrigeration preserves the buttercream, I felt like it slightly tampered with the cookie texture. Overall, this location is great. They carry out the Crumbl model very well. Service is quick and efficient, employees are friendly, and quality is consistent. I had my cookie preferences, yet even the least favorite was still good. The rotating flavor business model isn't meant for customers to like every single one, hence why the flavors are switched out weekly. I'd gladly come back for my next flavor lineup of interest if I'm in the area again.

A warm cookie made to order? How bad can it be. The store is clean and inviting. The smell is intoxicating. The cookies are beautiful. Personally not a fan of slightly underbaked cookies as I go for more of a crisp variety but my kids will probably kill me for one of these beauties.

    Great cookie flavor selection.

Great place to get fresh cookies! We ordered and paid at the easy to use kiosks, and the order of 6 cookies was ready in a few minutes. Service was very friendly, and the cookies were outstanding. Great selection. Sure, they're not cheap, but the quality makes it worth it. We'll be back!

For myself, I took another customers advice and went with a savory Ham and cheese croissant - our classic croissant filled with bechamel (creamy white sauce), ham and cheese. The shiny sheen of buttery baked goodness was the first thing you'll notice before you taste that flaky brown crust. Every bite was a clean crisp break and boy did all the flavors of ham and cheese combine to make a fantastic breakfast. My bill was $40 combined for all seven items. (I believe the ham and cheese croissant itself was about $6 and change) The croissants my wife brought to work were a hit. One of the her co-workers lived in France for several years and was complaining she couldn't find a comparable croissant on this side of the pond. She was beyond impressed and commented they are better than most she remembered. Mission accomplished, she'll be paying her first visit and I'll be returning to try some sweet options next time! Small location, but a mighty and beautiful product made with love at Mamie Colette!

I will start of by saying that the staff here is great and the store is always easy to navigate. It is a bit older of a store so it's a little dark inside but it is also always busy which makes it feel much more lively. they have extensive produce, a large cheese section and prepared food section. Their bakery is nice as well. Actually their cookies are some of my favorite grocery store cookies. The prices can be a bit high but when they have sales they are usually fairly good. I feel like it's a slightly "fresher" and "healthier" store but I have had a hard time finding more unique healthy items. I watched her interactions with the two guests ahead of me and was honestly surprised by how unhappy and disengaged she appeared. There were no smiles, no warmth, and her overall demeanor gave the impression that she disliked her job, disliked dealing with customers, and simply did not want to be there. As a business owner myself, I understand how important customer relationships are. The checkout counter is often the final impression a guest leaves with, and something as simple as a friendly smile or kind interaction goes a very long way when customers are spending their hard-earned money. I am from out of town and expected much more from what appears to be a boutique-style grocery store with a strong community feel. Stores like Trader Joe's are a great example of how positive, friendly interactions at checkout can completely elevate the customer experience. I even went so far as to ask Delaney if she was having a bad day, and the glaring stare I received in return ultimately prompted me to write this review. To be clear, I am not looking for anyone to lose their job. I simply believe some coaching in guest relations and customer interaction could make a tremendous difference. Delaney is very young, and I genuinely hope she either finds more joy in what she's doing or moves into something better suited for her personality and interests. Constructive feedback is meant to help businesses improve, and I hope this is received in that spirit.
