The owner was so so nice. Apparently theyve been there for 100 years. We're new to the state and area and he gifted us some free rolls and bread. What's funny is we came in for a cake because it was my mom's birthday. The sign said cakes on the outside of the building but they do NOT HAVE CAKE lol. We joked about it with the owner We got two jelly donuts and two twists. The twists were very flaky and crunchy but very good. Beware the jelly donuts. They are dangerously delicious but VERY MESSY! :P this is a memory my family will keep. I can tell :) we will be back! We are the cinnamon twists quickly with the kids :P very cute bakery. Okay for some quick rolls or something , but I went there got a dozen rolls the round rolls were freakin stale the long ones were fresh. He went in the back to get the round rolls. I've been here a few times and the staff is always friendly... The baked goods are delicious... They used to deliver goods to local Deli's and grocery stores... I don't know if they still are doing that... They are best known for their home baked bread and rolls... read more

My review is solely for their cookies as that's all I ordered, however they do also make bread and a few small pastries. This is a nice little bakery that could easily be missed if you don't know where to look, this is definitely a little store, you walk in and are immediately greeted by all of their amazing looking baked goods, the staff is very nice and helpful, their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their cookies is amazing, they taste fresh and flavorful. If your a fan of Italian cookies I would highly recommend giving this bakery a try. Get a little assorted box to try a few of their options. Their cookies are a 5/5. read more

This is a review by a vegetarian. Tomato Pie! On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only. Delicious crisp crust and ever so slight kick to the sweet sauce. I love to see the people behind the counter eating their own wares. The pepperoni bread looks tempting even for a long time herbivore. i regularly came to this bakery and buy bread. but today, this old guy came as the cashier and charged me $7 for a single bag of bread and when i tried telling him that this is wrong, he refunded my entire purchase and kicked me out of the store, saying "Don't ever cone back. i can't have this problem again." he blamed me for his mistake and kicked me out. if you see this old man cashier, i recommend recording your transaction as proof so he doesn't try ti scam you. what an embarrassment! read more

DeLuca's is a place I go to often. They supply bread for a lot of local businesses. I highly recommend their bread for parties. Amazing rolls, and fresh loaves of bread. The breads go bad quickly, so if you have them longer than a few days, put them in the fridge before they get moldy. This is slightly inconvenient, but they don't add preservatives, which is a plus in my book. Thank goodness i don't live too far. The owner is VERY nice, and extremely helpful. he helped me find the perfect bread for my Thanksgiving pineapple stuffing, which was a HUGE hit this year. They usually have coupons in the weekly mailer. Try their stuffed breads. Broccoli is our favorite. And i will never try to make a pizza dough again. Their pizza dough is better than any other place i have tried. read more

Best tomato pie I've had, and I've had plenty of different kinds. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I've been getting their tomato pie for my super bowl party for years. Used to get Gaeta's until I found this place. Saves the drive to northeast Philly and in my opinion DeLuca's is better. Nice hint of spice. The rolls are also great and the usually assortment of sweets. read more

With all the pizza places in Riverside-Delran area (11) total. This bakery has the BEST damn Tomato Pies around !!!! Just like my grandmom's was.....olive oil bottom crispy crust, tangy sauce, not to puffed up....cooked to perfection. I just wish they put some Snapple Tea in the fridge to sell with the slices. It's hard to resist eating them before I get home. read more

Love this place! The rolls are fantastic and this is the go-to for rolls for all events. Just walking in the place to the smell of bread makes my mouth water. The tomato pies are amazing, but they sauce does have a small kick (enough for my picky eater daughter to turn up her nose...more for me NOM NOM). They also have a case of the traditional bakery cookies (red jelly center, leave shaped, etc.) which are so yummy. If either of my kids are with me, the woman behind the counter always give them a cookie. I get a box of cookies to bring to work around the holidays and they are always a big hit. Personally I am not a huge fan of the stuffed breads, I feel like there is more bread than filling, but I think I am in the minority. I've also tried their homemade sandwich bread. That of course is fantastic as well. Be aware they don't put preservatives in their bread so if you don't use within a few days, refrigerate or freeze before they get moldy. read more

stopped in on sunday for the first time to see this place since it was recommended by family. good selection of breads and stuffed breads (pepperoni bread). surprised they made pizza here. got a couple of slice to go and heated them up when we got in. i was really surprised just how good it was. it didn't really look so special but it has so much flavor and the hubby and i just loved it! woman at the counter was so nice...spent a lot of time explaining all the products they have and was just so so sweet. we'll be back again....looking forward to more pizza! read more

Absolutely delicious fresh rolls and breads at a very fair price. All can be frozen and thaw beautifully. Many specialty rolls used by restaurants that can't be found in the supermarkets can be ordered 24 hrs prior to pickup. As others have said, no preservatives so use or freeze. They also have fresh pastries & even pizza dough but its the darn rolls that have me hooked. Girls behind the counter are always super friendly and helpful. Anyone used to the old world independent Philly bakery's would love this place. read more
