The cake is moist & tasty. The frosting is amazing with this delicious sugary glitter on top. One of the other pluses about L&M is that they are consistent. Their cakes are always incredibly delicious, well-decorated and well worth the price. Be ready to possibly stand in a relatively fast moving line to pickup your cake, and order ahead online through their website! Parking is a little non-existent. There's signs for parking in the back but the back is 12 spots that rapidly fill up. You might need to get creative to get here. When you walk inside, there's countless displays of freshly made baked goods and a giant wall of donuts on display. The lady taking care of me was very nice and selected a bakers dozen for the crew. I also got a couple pecan rolls for me and my other. The pecan roll was delicious! Sweet, sticky, laden with pecans and soft but not pillowy. The perfect bite of a bakery sweet. I brought the dozen into my conference room and turned my back to write out my talking points. After a few minutes, I turned back and the donuts were gone. Now I am being quizzed when the next meeting will be and will I bring donuts to that one too. So this place is very good, almost dangerously so. It's a little pricy for donuts, but the quality is there in spades. Worth a try or a trek if you need a donut in NJ

I can admit that I'm unfamiliar with the cuisine and what specifically to order. Our server was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful with suggestions and descriptions on what everything was. Pictured was food for 5 of us, and we had more than enough to take some home for leftovers. My personal favorite was the Karadeniz Yagli (black sea style Pide). Pide bread is a flat bread that can have many different types of toppings, that they bake fresh in-house in a brick oven. It's thin, crispy, and packed with great flavor. Our party enjoyed every single dish we ordered and loved the experience. In my eyes, Rota's is certainly a spot you should check out for a different experience and cuisine to expand your horizons a tiny bit. Don't be afraid to ask questions and try something that's new.
