Small place but oh man so glad i discovered this!!! Literally the best tres leche i've ever had! They had lots of other sweets. We also got some baklava and there was fresh bread. Def looked family owned and my entire purchase of tea, a huge piece of tres leche and three small pieces of baklava was only $11!! Can't wait to be back. There's a good amount of outdoor seating too!

The employees are rude. And from the condensation I've seen on their cases they have refrigeration issues.

Adana kebab has a weird taste and the kofte and burgers are chewy...it looks like chef Usman left and took all the recipe secrets... Really disappointed with the food quality at this place. We used to get the ready to grill Adana Kabab and kofte and prepared doner, but since the butcher chef Usman left this place few months ago, the meat quality is not like before. Chef Usman used to also prepare homemade awarma and Sujuk. I'm now hesitating to buy awarma and Sujuk from this place. Really sad to see this happen to one of my favorite stores in the area. I guess we will have to look for another place that prepares the Turkish products the way chef Usman used to. By the way, All the photos I'm posting here are from the time when chef Usman was the butcher at this store.

She decided to take me there and I have to say I was really surprised. It is a Turkish market with halal meat. The gyro are chicken during the week and beef in the weekends. It was different the. The traditional gyro because it is served as a sandwich not on a pita. It also does NOT have the normal white sauce. I requested to have the chicken gyro sandwich how it would "normally " be made. It was great. We also bought bread and that was fantastic as well. Stop in and give it a try.

Food that's absolutely a must order include the hummus platter, with extraordinary fresh bread. and the baklava. Both are epic! I had the lunch special, which was lamb kebabs with white rice. Lamb was ok but not remarkably spiced nor that tender. But it was good. The rice was a bit mushy and there was little to no dressing on the salad nor the red cabbage on the dish. Would have loved to have had something more like rice pilaf. Requested some white yogurt dressing on the side and this brought it together. I don't think one can judge a place based on the lunch special so I will definitely be returning to try more of their entrées that they're known for. The place was packed so clearly locals know this is a good place to go!

We decided to go all in on the menu, and honestly, that's the reason I'd come back…read more We started with the cheese borek and lahmacun. The borek came out hot and flaky, with that perfect balance of crispy outside and soft, cheesy inside. The lahmacun was thin, slightly crispy, and packed with flavor the mix of lamb and spices hit without feeling heavy. Then came the Istanbul Mix Grill, and this is where they really stand out. You get a full spread lamb chops, Adana, chicken, kofta, gyro and everything actually tasted amazing. The lamb chops were juicy, the Adana had a nice kick, and the chicken was tender and well seasoned. Portions are generous easily enough for two. We finished with baklava, kunefe, and Turkish coffee. The baklava was solid, but the kunefe is the one you don't skip warm, cheesy, slightly sweet, and fresh. Paired with the Turkish coffee, it was the perfect way to end the meal. Service was fast, and everyone was genuinely friendly. They didn't just take orders they actually helped guide us on what pairs well together, which made the experience better overall. Price wise it's worth it. Not overpriced for the amount and quality of food you're getting. The vibe is casual and family friendly, but still flexible you can come here with friends to hang out and talk, or even make it a solid date night spot. What stood out most is that there were no weak links across everything we ordered and that's rare when you try this many dishes. If you're coming here, don't play it safe. Get the mix grill, try a couple appetizers, and finish with kunefe especially with the ice cream on top!

I've long let go of the ancient proverb about not judging a book by it's over... in this case by the strip shopping center it's located in. Diana, our director of first impressions and food guide for this dining experience was engaging, smiling and truly excited to converse with us about our Eastern European food experiences throughout the Bulstleton Ave-Philly region. We took a walk through discussion across the menu to understand preparations and which dishes were most recommended to keep ups wanting to come back. So many to select from. We did try a few plates to get the full experience. Opened with a bowl of Mastava soup - ground beef, rice, peppers, carrots and onions, delicous. Wish there were closer to home to pick up on cold days... that good. Next we had a plate of 4 manti's - dumplings with beef, lamb and onions (think of wonton dumpling with meat inside, no soup broth- that would be a soup dumpling). Next, we shared a bowl of plov - slow cooked rice, beef, lamb, carrot and onions. This dish I could have weekly it was that DELICIOUS! We did try one beef kabab, so tender and juicy. I also love Bronzino and could not pass it up. Whole bronzino grilled and in place of french fries the chef did me a solid... stewed tomates and grilled peppers to acompany the fish. If only I could do this at home on my grill... will try. Was delicious. We found a new restaurant to add into our rotation. See our food photos attached and follow me on Yelp for more tasty adventures. What a gem. Thank you Diana. BTW... no alchol (no BYOB) allowed. Parking lot. They do accept credit cards but with a small add on processing fee.

Their manti are absolutely the best: the thinest dough, the jucy filling. Same about samsa. I highly recommend this place if you want great food in a quiet and cozy enviroment.
