The amazingness of this place defies description. Get your ass in here soon so you can be all like "I liked Uzbek cuisine before it got big" because someone is going to eventually turn this into a James Beard situation any minute. Rookie? No sweat. They'll walk you through it. Tip: bring home an extra PLOV for later tomorrow you will thank today you for her generosity.

This might not be the fanciest restaurant, but the food is unexpectedly amazing! The meat is seasoned and grilled to perfection and their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and portion size they offer. I have been here four times, and everything we ordered has been excellent. The ingredients are fresh and the presentation is beautiful. And the waiters are courteous and friendly. You will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing. Food is above any expectations. We came here looking for some good authentic dinner with traditional meat dishes. As you know people from Uzbekistan are pros in handling meat and cook great dishes. So this place was no exception. Service was excellent, place itself nice and clean, reasonably priced and of course very delicious. Highly recommend coming here.

the size, and the look is terrible

I strongly do not recommend this restaurant, when the hall was empty, I was told that while waiting for 10-15 minutes, in the end I waited 30 minutes, shawarma costs $ 12, it doesn't taste and looks like it's not worth even $ 5, a lot of greens and sour taste , the view was terrible .. see the photo, I do not recommend !!! there are many places where for $10-12 shawarma is tastier and fits in size! just awful!!! They cooked it for 30 minutes but it looked like it was made in 10 minutes to f#ck 0ff

While they are usually lightly staffed when we come, the staff is always on point, friendly, and willing to help with selections. My go to has been their platters. You get plenty of protein, a heavy salad, and some amazing rice. I mean, I do not usually get to into rice, but their is great. One of the staff recommended this non-alcoholic beers they had it various flavors which I'm sort of hooked on. I can't remember the brand but I usually go Apple or Strawberry. Their Chai is also very good if you are in a tea mood. Overall, a clear recommend in my book. Enjoy!

Each table has three sauces. There is the white sauce, and a red and green sauce. The white sauce is good - like a mix between ranch and tzitzaki. The green sauce is minty, and the red one is spicy. I was really happy with the lamb. It was very tender and flavorful. It also came hot out of the grill. It didn't have a "strong" lamb flavor and was slightly smoky. The rice was super fragrant. I think it had a lot of butter or oil so it felt moist, and the carrots/raisons inside were a nice touch. The food went really well with the three sauces. There was also a good cardamom flavor inside. The food came with a ciabatta-like fried bread. I recommend this restaurant

Within minutes the place was packed. Isot is a popular BYOB, and for good reason. Their food is delicious. The five of us started with a mixed meze platter which had a sampling of spreads: eggplant, garlic/yogurt, hummus (chickpea), spicy tomato & pepper salad, Slavic potato salad and of course pita bread. My husband, daughter and I shared the mixed plate for two, which was plenty for the three of us. We ate beef kabobs, Chicken Adana (my favorite), chicken thighs, Turkish meatballs and lamb kabobs. Served with the most flavorful salad, sautéed vegetables and rice, the mixed plate is a great option if you haven't zeroed in on something specific. I wasn't totally sold, as I had never been and wanted to go somewhere I knew, but my friends said, No, no, THIS is the place. And I'm glad I listened, because they were correct. I had the vegetable falafel platter, with rice, and it was excellent. The food came out quickly and was super-hot, maintaining that heat until I'd finished. I don't know how they did that, but one of my complaints with eating just about anywhere is that halfway through my meal I wish I could stick it in a microwave for a minute and get that heat back. But these falafels maintained their temperature and were absolutely delicious. They have a soda fountain that you access yourself, which I love. Plenty of hot sauces and other toppings, as well as a fridge full of a variety of interesting-looking drinks, sodas and yogurt-sodas, and other things that looked tempting, perhaps for another visit. The staff here is very cool. Both of the folks that we talked to were friendly, and they sure got that food together quick! They gave us a sincere greeting and goodbye at the end of our meal. I will definitely be back here next time I'm down in KoP area. Great food and friendly service--and the price was also not bad at all. What else can you ask you for?

Flavor wise, it was smokey and the pomegranate added a nice pop of acidity and freshness. The olive oil drizzled on top was also very good. The pita was fresh and warm and had pieces that were a little more charred which was great. Cauliflower sandwich- it is more of a wrap vs traditional sandwich. I liked how thin the wrap was. The cauliflower was very seasoned and cumin-y. I wish there was more pickled cabbage. The fries were thicker but it wasn't dry inside. They were also doused in zaatar seasoning and fantastic. Would get just the fries as a side or the whole thing again! Lahm bi-ajeen man'oushe- like a very flat, crispy pita with meat and tomato and pickles on top. It was good, nothing super outstanding on this one. Shakshuka- tomatoy, lamby, and jammy eggs. Cant go wrong with this. I thought it was maybe a touch salty but it went well with the pita to scoop Ngl service was a little strange in my opinion. One person arrived before the rest of us and they kept asking her to order first. They would come at random times with questions or random pauses when talking.
