The ice cream is delicious but you must check your bag before you leave the drive through because they often forget at least 1 of the ice cream's ordered. read more

The quality of ice cream has been disappointing the last several months. Graham Central Station used to be my family's favorite flavor and now it is bland and has few to zero mixins. I sent an email and got a discount code but just went back and there is no change. Literally no graham or chocolate pieces. I also ordered peanut butter Oreo. There was one Oreo fragment and I tasted no peanut butter. I will not be spending my money there until they figure out what the issue is. read more

First off, ice cream is elite. I'll give them that. HOWEVER, the service at this place is the absolute worst! I hope you have at least a half hour to kill waiting. The kids working there are beyond ignorant. I don't know how it takes 30 mins to make 3 ice creams but I guess it makes sense when they're all in there talking and not paying attention. Then they proceed to hand me ice cream after ice cream that I ordered... I was alone. I don't have 8 arms, maybe a cup holder or a bag would be a good idea. I ask for a cup holder and they lazily put the milkshake in which then fell out on me turning out of there. Ice cream again is great but FIX THE STAFF, please! read more

Bruster's is always great, but the service lately has been especially good. Daniel is super friendly, patient, and makes the whole experience better. He works hard, keeps things moving, and is really kind to customers. You can tell he cares about doing a good job. Definitely one of the reasons I enjoy coming here! read more

They sold us the wrong ice cream and we didn't realize it unti lwe got home. Also. we bought 2 pints but didnt know about the buy 2, get 1 free sale they were offering. They didnt mention it, and we got cheated out of the free third pint. Yes, they gave us a refund when we returned the wrong ice cream. But they could use a few lessons in customer service. read more

I tried maple walnut (7.5/10), butter brickle (8/10) and caramel macchiato (8/10). The prices are great and icecream is really homemade tasting! However, I wish there was more diversity in the flavours. Will be back for more. read more

After asking my wife what she wanted for dinner, she said, "ice cream!" So I knew from past experience that I wasn't going to go to a place close to me, so I ended up finding Bruster's through Yelp. A short drive later, we came up to the nice sized building which even had a drive-through! Bruster's makes their own ice cream and they have lots of flavors, some of which are seasonal. They do it all - sundaes, shakes, mixes, ice cream cakes, splits, and more. They have the waffle cones and all the toppings and whip cream. I went with a small Butter Brickle shake. My wife had a Vanilla Hot Fudge Sundae. Smooth and creamy, with chocolate covered brickle left at the end for a bonus. The Sundae was requested with a waffle bowl and was crunchy and just the right size for one. The mix of fudge, ice cream, whip cream, and a cherry on top was excellent. The kids running the stand were friendly, gave free sample spoons if you want, and did their best to be quick. About $14 for the sundae and small milkshake. We'd definitely come back. read more

Bruster's originated in my small town in western PA. I grew up going there at least once a week growing up! I was delighted to find one close(ish) to where I live in New Jersey. I will make the drive for their homemade ice cream! I can't find anything like it anywhere in NJ. read more

Lived in the area for over 10 years and never knew this place existed until a FB ad caught my eye. Came purposely to try their best caramel macchiato flavor and was impressed with the wide selection of flavors they have. Unique flavors, the strawberry cheesecake one was calling my name too with the regular vanilla, chocolate, etc as well. Nice sundae selections, they evidently make cakes and ice cream sandwiches too. Service was friendly. And there were a ton of people in line for their ice cream, masked and socially distanced of course or going through the drive thru for their order. You can order ahead online or via a QRS code and pick it up for quicker service. Yes the prices may be a bit higher compared to some other local places, but their ice cream was good and unique. I would definitely be back to try some of their other flavors. read more

Love this place and their ice cream. Love the fact that they have a drive thru also so its easier access to the ice cream on my lazy days of not wanting to sit out in the son and sweat my a** off. I like the variety of flavors that they serve and the fact that they have sundaes for both kids and adults. When I visit, I usually get a mint chocolate chip on a waffle cone, and my daughter likes the blue slushie or a vanilla cone, or a sundae that has gummy worms in it. The staff is really friendly here and always happy to serve their customers. I would be coming here once the weather is warmer. read more

Been going there several times recently because we were told they had some Sugar Free Ice Cream. The day we went the server said the only Sugar Free was a Vanilla with hunks of chocolate pieces in it... we tried it but I don't think that chocolate was Sugar Free ... the Ice cream could have been but why make a sugar free ice cream and then throw sugar laden hunks of dark chocolate into it? I think the server was just uneducated about what was and wasn't Sugar free or sugar added ice cream. What we did have was very good but I don't think it was sugar free and I think Employees need to be trained in what is and isn't ok for people asking about Sugar Free Ice Cream choices, if any? I think they have a huge selection of various flavors but as a Diabetic I was only looking for a Sugar Free like Vanilla was is usually what is the only flavor if any that is available with no sugar added . It is easy to drive to right off Brownsville Rd with a huge parking lot . Only been there in mid day so I don't know the hours . From the little I tried it was good but I do think the man that was the server was giving out wrong mistaken information of what was sugar free ice cream. read more

Ice cream is always delicious and I always make a trip here at least once a month. Best hard ice cream around.

This place is absurdly overpriced, and the only positive thing about this location is the fact that there's a drive through. Four dollars for one scoop (one!! and a small one at that) in a cup? No thanks. The ice cream and frozen yogurt here aren't even that good. There's far superior ice cream shops literally all over the place. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Banana yogurt. Their yogurt is hand dipped and not soft serve - wasn't expecting that - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Trevose, Pennsylvania

If this was just about the ice cream, the stars would be shining bright. The maple walnut, butter pecan and especially the apple pie flavors were very good. Left me wishing for more. And, therein lies the problem. The pleasant service person inside the tiny take out window explained that the medium cup held three scoops of ice cream. If it did, I should have asked to see the size of the scoop, because what I received was far less than three standard scoops. Rather, there were at best half scoops of the nutty and quarter scoop of the apple pie. They were in the waxed cup to look like big scoops, but the reality was far less. For the $$, there should be no skimping, and if they can't turn a profit without a thumb on the scale, perhaps they need to reevaluate their business model. The slight of hand trick just doesn't make folks want to return no matter how good the creamies are. Reading the other reviews, the price was raised several times as being an obstacle to enjoyment. For me, it wasn't the cost, but the weight that was the issue. Perhaps, those amount to the same thing. We work hard for the money, and don't want to be short sheeted regardless of how comfortable the bed may be. read more

So as many people noted. The ice cream hear is good. But the prices are just to much. I came hear because I had a coupon for signing up for the rewards on the website. It would not be my every day or every week thing. So I'll be hear and when I get emailed coupons. As for ice cream goes I got the "salted caramel" ice cream on waffle cone. Small size. It comes 2 scoops. Was good. Definitely not bad. Freind of mying got vanilla ice cream in a cup, said was good but nothing to wow over. With the parking lot and the area, they can improve by adding more seats with mabe tables and some umbrellas for people to enjoy there ice cream. Hopefully something they can consider for the future. Over all this place can have to much potential of being one of the best. if they would just lower their prices on their ice cream by alittle. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - $4.39 for a small waffle cone with ice cream. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Trevose, Pennsylvania

For some reason we thought Brewsters was an "eat-in" type of place. It's actually a cute ice cream barn with walk-up windows and a drive thru. Unfortunately they were out of the dairy free chocolate chip and only had the raspberry white chocolate truffle. It was pretty good considering I do not like raspberries. My husband had the chocolate chip mint and said it was creamier than other local venues. We stopped in because we had dinner in the area. Although good, we wouldn't go out of our way to return. read more

I stopped here for a quick dessert and was not disappointed. I'm told they make their own ice cream but I am not certain. What I do know is it's delish! They have standard flavors like chocolate , vanilla and strawberry but they also have custom flavors like Irish potato and Boston cream pie. The are a little pricey for my taste otherwise I'd give them 5 stars. Almost $4 for a small come seems a bit crazy but worth it. read more

The only trouble with treating yourself at Bruster's Real Ice Cream, is not only the decision of what to have, but what flavor to choose. Oh my, what a dilemma I'm in! Worse yet, is poor hubby who has his simple fix of a hot fudge sundae or vanilla, chocolate or cherry vanilla ice cream. I need a minute and with knowing I mean 5 good, long minutes, he leaves me, saying " I'll meet you in the car." This is either walk up to window service or drive thru. No tables outside, but plenty of long red lacquered benches. Okay fro-yo girl are you ready for this? Both soft serve and hard, hand dipped ice creams are made here daily. Bruster's boasts 140 different flavors and each store carries up to 38 different flavors, each day. Yesterday they had 24 flavors of hand dipped ice cream, including the flavors of the month of black raspberry, peach or black raspberry with peaches. They offer frozen yogurt in all the ice cream flavors, plus additional monthly specialties, like Dreamsicle and burgundy cherry, dutch apple or banana chip. Like the ice creams, these change daily. They also have made to order pies for $15.95. The cakes come in two sizes, either an 8 inch round, which feeds 12-16 people or the 1/4 sheet cake. The cakes are customized to your liking with a choice of cake bottom, ice cream top and a filling inside, which could be anything from fudge to caramel, peanut butter and more. Each cake is iced with vanilla ice cream. Bruster's serves a variety of Iced Coffee Lattes, Sherbets, Sorbets, Strawberry Shortcake, Brownie Sundaes, and all of your favorite sundaes that you have grown to love. A nice variety of fat free and no sugar ice creams are available. Have your ice cream or fro yo in a vanilla waffle cone or bowl, sprinkled with many different candy dish toppings. Maybe you would rather have a Smoothie, Shake, Cappuccino Frost, a freeze, a Float or an ice cream Soda. Whatever you have, be it Chocolate Raspberry Truffle or Key Lime Pie, I wish you happy eats with your treats, no dripping and no brain freezes! Kids under 40" get a free ice cream cone and your furry friend is entitled to a free doggie sundae. Jamaican Me Crazy! Oh that, is one of the special ice cream flavors, you may get to choose from, when you stop by. Hours open Noon to 10pm, 7 days a week!. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - As big as a 7 Eleven - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Trevose, Pennsylvania

Can't say I was particularly impressed with Burster's Ice Cream, especially with the absurdly high marks of being "America's Favorite Ice Cream". The place is quite large, including a drive through, but with very awkward seating around the establishment of red benches, including one in the odd corner of the parking lot under their sign. As for flavors, they boast an array of things, but for a Sunday at 7 PM, I thought it was kind of weird that they didn't have something as basic as frozen vanilla yogurt. They also didn't have their highly advertised salted caramel. Ok, so my husband ordered his hot fudge sundae, which was two small scoops, with very little hot fudge and way too much whip cream, for an astonishing $5! My neice ordered a small blast with reeses pieces, which came out like a milkshake, completed melted while we were still in the parking lot, also $5.79. Overall, the point is was the ice cream any good. For me, it wasn't. It tasted too bland, the vanilla is usually a good judge of character for an ice cream place, and Breyer's makes a more memorable one than Brusters. A combo of high prices and lack of flavor makes this a no go for me. Sorry Brusters, but maybe you were American's favorite Ice Cream in 1969, not 2015. read more

I've been to Brewsters many times over the years. Went a few weeks ago and again today but very disappointed with the one vs two scoops of ice cream. The one scoop a few weeks ago was the same size as the two scoops today. Questioned it and was told two scoops equals 5 ounces? The service was fine but for 4.00 plus dollars I should at least see a difference. read more

Stopped by recently since I was in the mood for ice cream. The ice cream here is really addictive. My usual goto flavor is the coconut one but opted for mint chocolate chip on a waffle cone since they didn't have it on the menu that day. Took it back to share with my wife who normally doesn't like that flavor. She kept taking bites which gives you an idea of how good their ice cream is. read more

We are a huge fan of Bruster's ice cream. We have been going there on and off for years. It's a bit of a ride for us. They always have a great selection and variety of ice cream. The ice cream is good, but definitely not worth the price. I had the raspberry swirl and I did enjoy it but I can not get over how little you are given for how much you pay. I'm not from the area so this might me the way things are down here, but I probably wouldn't come back. read more

This is one of my favorite ice cream places! They have amazing ice cream, all hand made. And they have a super wide selection of flavors, Sundaes and more ice cream related options. On Thursday's if you bring your own bananas you get your sundaes half price, and doggie sundaes are always free!!! The staff is always the friendliest, and well trained. I have NEVER had a problem here! Plus they have an app, and coupons. They are open ALL year, and they have a drive thru! Bruster's gets 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from me :) read more

So after an evening of tossing the football around and shooting some basketball, some friends and I decided to take it back to the good ol' days and walk to an ice cream shop to indulge. I had never been to Bruster's, but I heard good things and was craving a cold treat. To be honest, I don't see what the fuss is about. It's just like a dairy queen. They have what they call a "blast" which is equivalent to a dq blizzard. But they also have a selection of ice cream that had some tasty-sounding flavors. I wanted to go for a banana chocolate chip ice cream with some twix pieces "blasted" in. Unfortunately, they don't do that. The blasts are only for chocolate and vanilla soft serve. Maybe there's some explanation as to why they can't toss some twix into a blender with hand-dipped ice cream, but I'm sure it's lame. So I was left with the choice of banana chocolate chip ice cream or a twix blast. I chose the latter. Poor choice. Their soft serve kind of tastes like chalk. Actually it's more like that milk they serve in Philadelphia public school cafeterias. You know, the kind that comes in a juice box and doesn't have to be refrigerated? Gross. Save your time and money and hit up the grocery store instead. Bruster's is a waste! read more

Very disappointed. I would give a zero if I could and I am 9yrs old. $5 for a tiny ice cream.

BEST ICE CREAM They even have a drive-thru. My boyfriend and I love it here. Great variety!

Great ice cream ! They even have a drive thru that makes it even more convenient to fulfill ice cream cravings. We had a large order - 2 hot fudge sundaes , and 4 cups of different ice creams. I can't believe this place has been so close to home and I just recently found out about it. Great local place with a wide selection of flavors. They also make sundaes, my go to. I had a brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was really creamy and the portion was large. I could've shared mine with another person, but if course I didn't. The parking lot is a little weird to maneuver but there are a decent amount of spots. Wish there was more seating outside but over all a great little ice cream stop. read more

I was cheating on Dairy Queen with this place all summer and it has been so worth it. You get a lot of hand dipped ice cream for what you pay. A single waffle cone is really about two giant scoops. The major plus is that they give out free doggie sundaes. Free. You walk up with your pup (and in my case have him display his adorable tricks) and get a free little cup of frozen yogurt with a milk bone on top for them. He now whines when we pass by without stopping. I may have created a monster. read more
