Great place in the community! The staff members are always nice and the owner is very friendly! #1 place for a sweet treat with many options and big portions. I really enjoy being able to try new flavors and my dog gets a little pup cup too :-) read more

Staff are very warm and welcoming. Love the ice cream especially the green mint chocolate chip my fav. Also they make pup cups for doggies with fresh soft vanilla ice cream and melted peanut butter sauce and a dog biscuit. My dog loves them and just got one today for his birthday read more

I pass by this ice cream shop gazillion times and I never stopped by to try. Finally I took my daughter here after picking her up from school. They have very limited parking spots right in front of the shop. So be prepared that you might have to park on the side or shoulder lane. Lady who took my orders was very nice and friendly. Service was good. Many flavors to choose from that I don't even know where to start. I only know I will definitely return to try out other flavors. I think it's also best to share because the portion is big if you don't want to feel too guilty afterwards. Lastly, please note that this place is cash only. read more

Love this place! Way better than Rita's. Friendly staff, good prices and generous amount of ice cream! So many flavors of ice cream, soft serve and water ice. They have floats, milkshakes, banana splits, etc. I had the orange and vanilla soft serve twist on a cone and it is delicious! Wish this place was open all year! read more

Good friendly service, lots of options. Enjoyed being like a kid with sample tastes. Ended up with a cup scope of banana pudding and coffee. A good value too. read more

Petrucci's Dairy Barn - Hanging out on a bench watching sunset with our ice cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bensalem, Pennsylvania

My wife went to the Rita's on Rt. 13 on the first day of spring this year. She ordered a gelati and a Misto for her and I, as well as a custard in a cup for our child who doesn't like water ice. Then she asked for 2 of the tiny water ices they give out for free on the first day of Spring for our two other kids. The people working were completely rude and said it's only one per customer. My wife explained they went back into the car when it started raining while waiting in line. They didn't hear her out and were very rude. So after spending $25 on those overpriced items, they only gave her one of the freebies because she didn't go and drag the kids out of the car in the rain. That will be the last time we spend our money on overpriced dessert at Rita's. I typically wouldn't write a review, but I just had to let everyone know about a much better option I found. I recently went to Petrucci's on Knights rd. The prices were fair (spent less money on more items), the service was quick and the workers were friendly (went above and beyond to be sure my kid got her's first so she could eat it while we waited for the rest). Not to mention you get way more of a flavor selection in both water ice and ice cream. read more

Service: Accommodating and congenial. Water Ice: Very good! However, I have one negative for me... too sweet on certain flavors. I am not one for over sweetness. But, this can be opinionated! read more

So many tempting options: Italian water ice; soft serve; hand dipped ice cream. The flavors are amazing: 25 choices for soft serve. The blueberry is delicious! Water ice flavors change but banana is frequently offered-had that one night with chocolate custard--so yummy! The banana ice cream and cookies and cream were hits! Get a soft pretzel, milk shake, waffle with ice cream, ice cream sandwich. In other words, they serve every frozen treat you can imagine that taste great! read more

Petrucci's Dairy Barn - Cookies and cream and banana ice cream. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bensalem, Pennsylvania

I love this place! The few times Ive come here, there wasn't a line and no wait, so we were helped right away. Customer service was good and the staff were really friendly. I love the variety when it comes to the ice cream. They have both soft serve and hard ice cream, and many types of cones to choose from. They also have water ice. When it comes to the prices, they are inexpensive compared to other ice cream/water ice places. I would recommend coming here to get ice cream or water ice for your family. read more

Parking is extremely hard... very small lot. It's very hard to get parking especially when it's busy. Luckily, there's two stores nearby that has parking but still it's terrible that you can't park in front of the shop. The Orange Creamsicle milkshake was good in the beginning then after 10 minutes it went bad. It got so watery right quick. My boyfriend and I couldn't finish it and just threw it away. Such a waste. I had the vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate. That was really good but I hate how it melted so fast. I was inside the car with the AC on and it was still dripping so fast. I guess it's best to go when it's dark out and cooler weather so the ice cream and other items won't go bad right away. Also, CASH ONLY. Don't worry, there's an ATM on site. read more

Petrucci's Dairy Barn - MEGA BLEND - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Good and quick ice cream place. The people were nice and they had a lot of options and flavors to choose from. The place is located on a busy road, which can be a bit dangerous getting and out of. Soft serve was delicious and not too sweet. Good vibes with seating outside to enjoy on a cool summer night. read more

Strawberry ice cream tasted like fake cherry. It all tastes fake. Even the caramel was nasty. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to ice cream but this place isn't what it used to be read more

One of my favorite ice cream spots. Always has a lot of options. Service is good. And usually not over crowded. Sometimes

I stopped here yesterday with a party of 5. There was no wait and we were helped immediately. We all ordered a small ice cream and the total was less than $15. The ice itself was good but you have to eat it quickly because it melts so fast. They are generous with their servings. I ordered a small soft serve and it was more like a medium. I will definitely be visiting again. read more

I don't know how this place has so many positive reviews. We went tonight for some water ice. I've been by it a million times but never stopped. It was hot today! There was a line, only one person working. Finally getting up to window the person screams trough the screen next. I say hello... nothing, I proceed to place my order. All I get is yeah, yeah, anything else? The place smells like cigarette smoke and the service is terrible! The water ice was thick and overly sweet. After receiving my order I said thanks and have a good night... nothing again. This place is cash only and they are cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. The parking lot is also terrible. It's small and backing out is a nightmare. These people have some serious customer service issues. Stay away! read more

Quick service and yummy treats! I'm a jersey girl so I'm used to custard stands every few miles and I just don't seem to be able to find that much in this area so I appreciate this place. I recently tried the vanilla frozen yogurt with crunch coat (peanut butter/ multicolored sprinkles). Loved it! My only gripe is it's a bit pricey and it's cash only. I'd return. read more

Petrucci's is awesome! It's a small shop with once person and you order at the window. Parking lot fits about 4 cars so you pull up but if there's none then you can park next door at produce junction. They have DIFFERENT FLAVOR SOFT SERVES. A bunch of cool hard dip ice cream flavors, like s'mores, cotton candy, blueberry, and my personal favorite salted caramel pretzel. The price is super reasonable! It's the best deal/taste you can get in the burbs, and being from the city I think it's actually a lot better than the ice cream places that charge 10x more in the city. I also like getting their orange creamsicle soft serve. My bf likes getting their soft serve or a gelato when it's hot for the best of both worlds! Their water ice is OK, I think the ice cream is better :) read more

Like most other businesses, Petrucci's has changed a product. We would stop there at least once a week to get Vanilla and Orange Sherbert. we went this week and found out they changed the Orange Sherbert to a different Orange Cream. if they will take a suggestion, please go back to the way it used to be. it was much better. read more

It was alright. Their mango ice cream tasted like vanilla ice cream but they have a lot of flavors, so great variety! But I'm not so crazy about going back to try more. read more

Great ice cream. Definitely recommend their shakes too. New to the area and will continue to go back

Delicious! Only hand scooped ice cream and frozen water right now. I think they are closing for the season next week.

This place is okay as far as ice cream goes, but the way they do business seems like they're practically begging to lower their profit. It's cash only and I (along with lots of other people) rarely carry cash. So, even though I live in the apartment complex literally across the street, I can't run over there to grab anything unless I drive to an ATM first. One day, I really wanted ice cream so, I made that trip to get cash and ordered a brownie sundae - only for them to tell me that it only comes with nuts on it (I'm severely allergic to nuts) and that they only purchase brownies with nuts in them. Who does that? This is one of or probably THE most common allergy in the country. Obviously, I was disappointed and lastly, I'd need to write a whole other review if I want to get started on how bad the parking is/how difficult is is to get out. But I digress. read more

I would not be getting ice cream here again. I ordered a chocolate soft served with Oreo topping in a waffle bowl and it was just nasty. The Oreos taste like they've been refrigerated over and over and the waffle bowl was stale. My fiancé didn't like what he got as well and we feel like it was over priced for the quality. read more

Yummy ice cream made on site! Fun flavors and a friendly staff. Coupled with the adorable goats and sheep on site it's a fun little stop! I do wish you could get a better look at the animals though, the set up makes it tough! read more

My family and I have been going here for years. Cash only so be prepared. Selection of water ice, soft serve and hand dipped ice cream is immense. great selection, good customer service, and perfect spot to stop for an ice cold treat. Small parking and cash only - atm onsite.

Very good custard and water ice! The parking is awful. The customer service is "meh." Not the friendliest of people, but seems like college students are running the joint now. My dad used to go here often growing up and some older people who were really nice owned it and operated it. I took a point off for the customer service and parking. I contribute to their little money jar every time I go but never get a thank you, so no more contributions from me. It's something for college I guess since there are different college names written all over it (including my alma mater, so I guess I'm partial to contribute). I'll go back, but I'll hope for better workers in the future. read more

Best Water Ice in Philly the Philly Area!! Bada Bing Cherry- dark cherry ice cream with real cherries in it!!!

I LOVE this place. My husband could eat a quart of the homemade butter pecan ice cream in a sitting, and their "Bada Bing" black cherry puts Rita's to shame. Worth the drive to Bensalem. read more

I would stay away from this ice cream place. My family has been going here for years but recently it went down hill. My wife and kids got ice cream cones here this weekend and the server gave here the cones totally melted without sprinkles when she asked for sprinkles three times. I do not understand how a business can give you a melted cone with it dripping all down the cone. My wife ended up throwing it away. The service was the pits. The guy taking the order who forgot to put on sprinkles then started yelling to my wife that she shorted them 38 cents. She went back to the window and gave them the change and we vowed never to return because they were so rude and ignorant. Go to Friendlys around the corner instead. read more

Go here instead of Ritas! It's way cheaper and more quantity! And they are open late too!

Just got finished a large Rum Raisin from this place - WOW!!! Large selection and delicious ice cream.

Cool place , our family likes it a lot, it's close by and has bigger selection than Rita's and a bit cheaper, the servers are nice, it's not really convenient that they don't except credit cards, and don't have enough parking. read more

This place is just simply amazing. The prices are super reasonable and you get a good amount for the price you pay.....Unlike at friendly's!!! The ice cream and water ice are homemade and the service is pleasant. I have been going for years. It's worth the drive. The selection is huge over 50 flavors of yogurt. Ohhh and the ice cream cakes are the best even made to order. You will NOT be disappointed. read more
