We've had Papa's pizza delivered many times and think it's pretty good. It's pretty much our go-to for pizza delivery. But it's the lunch buffet that's the star! You can help yourself to a pretty decent salad bar and half a dozen or so types of pizza by the slice. It's tasty. I don't remember what this costs, but it's not too much. read more

I placed an online order and they got it wrong. I made a simple substitution that I have made in the store many times. I just picked a different sauce. The website said it would charge me an extra $1. I thought that was weird, since I was never charged for it before, but I went along with it anyways. I then changed it to half and half choosing the 2nd half with the same sauce as i had picked. It still showed the whole pizza with the same sauce. They gave me a pizza with 2 different sauces. I figured I would call and they would clear it up cheerfully. Instead the manager argued with me, and called me a liar. I am outraged to pay $34 for a pizza, and not only get the wrong order, but have the manager not be willing to fix it. Unless they fix this, they have lost a customer, that has bought their pizza for over 15 years. Also they took so long to deliver my pizza that it was not warm, when I received it. read more

Stay away! Just had a square pizza for a change, it was horrific, scant toppings (scarce), bland sauce, with a crust like sponge. The main reason I got it was it's cost, papas has raised their prices to heights I find a little ridiculous so they sorta drove me to it, they still make a good round pizza but I can get a better quality pizza for $15 the same size as a $30 pie from these guys. read more

This review is only on the West 11th location in Eugene,OR. They have several locations and have been to them. Other locations are generous and very good. Just not the West 11th location, Will never go back. read more

I ate here for the first time today and I got food poisoning. So I'm definitely not coming back. Also the customer service sucked.

We ordered pizza through the online app and delivery driver explained they messed up on sizing and that he would only charge us for a medium, however when I brought the pizza inside it was missing chicken. I called and talked to the manager who was so sweet to fix what had happened. Even on a busy night they rushed us the correct order for free. Thank you very much were a long time customer and will continue to be read more

Nothing to remember other then undercooked pizza with a million kids running around. It's a old pizza joint, very popular, but the pizza stinks. It needs a good 5-7 minutes more in the oven, I swear the cheese was barely melted and the dough was still raw"ish" and no this wasn't a off day. The olives were barely cooked on multiple pizza orders. And the prices, it's a big pizza but seriously 28$ + for a large crappy pizza. I'm always surprised that places like this still crank in customers. I would want sh that the owners would realize how mediocre it is, but they probably won't. It is funny how when you go you expect Track Town type pizza but get Crap Town type pizza. Please save your money, go elsewhere. Pre Game at home with Crappy Dominos pizza and beer, then show up with your kids. They will never know. I feel terrible being a ass, but this place is terrible. A parents worst nightmare. read more

This is the worst pizza please I ever went to .First the pizza is aways Bernt .Second there's not a lot of pizza sauce .the only good thing about this place is the arcade room and that's a fact. read more

I am so disappointed in this restaurant chain. I attended a fundraising event in March and the counter person was clueless as to how it worked. I tried asking questions about the fundraiser and about the menu and the person at the counter didn't have answers and seemed incapable of helping. I finally ordered a take out order, making sure they knew I had to go. The pizza was sent for dine in. I filled out the customer comment card and left it at the counter in hopes that they could maybe explain the fundraising protocol and improve guest experience. A few weeks later a letter arrived in my mailbox with a gift card stating that my comment card was drawn for the month and I won the monthly prize of the enclosed gift card. I thought that maybe I was too hasty in my judgement and someone was just having an off day. I figured I would use the gift card and give them another try. Nice one, Papa's Pizza, the gift card was blank. I can see that this place is all about misinformation and playing games. I supported this fundraiser to help a family friend raise funds for a funeral...in the future I will gift the money directly. This has been the worst experience I have had with a business since moving here 10 years ago. If you wanted to add insult to injury, well you succeeded. I can not believe a business could be so thoughtless and deliberately malicious. Please train your counter people to answer questions, know the promotions as well as the menu, to make orders carry out and dine in appropriate and to accept constructive criticism (per your own provided comment card, so it can be addressed privately to avoid confrontation and embarrassment to your obviously uninformed counter person). I was delighted to receive a gift card to make the experience better only to reaffirm your business could care less. I will never do business here again. Unreal!!!! read more

I've been a Papa's customer since 1975 so believe me when I say I've eaten a whole lot of their pizza & salad. Prices have gone up, up, up & quality & service has gone down, down, down. Delivery works ok but even that has gotten really sketchy. Most recently we went to this Papa's on W 11th last night & will not be back to this location, ever! Unfriendly help, noisy, 35+ minutes for a medium gluten free pizza ($22.20) that was more than a little doughish & yet paper thin? Anyway, other than delivery service, I'm done w/ Papa's. read more

We had the barbecue chicken pizza, wow it never disappoints at Papas! The crust came out perfectly crisp too! Beer selection is always great. Pitchers are the way to go! read more

I have only had take-out from here, but color me unimpressed. The crust is flavorless, sauce is overly sweet, toppings unexceptional. No wonder kids like it. It's simple, undemanding, predictable gut filler. read more

My wife ordered pizza via Papa's website. When we called 70 minutes later to see what the delay was, we were told the staff can't find our order. So there's a strong reason NOT to use the online order feature -- it's doesn't work reliably :( What a waste of time -- now we're still hungry, but wasted over an hour waiting for a non-existent pizza. And what happened to the credit card charge we authorized via Papa's website? Disappointed. read more

took a group of 12 here - and this place couldn't seem to get anything right. we ordered several pizzas and only one of them had the correct things on it - in retrospect, i also think the cooks knew they had blown it, but served the incorrect pizzas to us anyway. weak. wouldn't go back. read more

My family and I eat here regularly and are consistently pleased. tonight they were busy. after wating 40 minutes for a pizza that was supposed to take 20, we were told it would take 30 more. the manager lady on duty was extremely rude and snappy when we explained our upsetedness. furthermore she wouldnt give her name, why? guess what? I wont be back, I changed my 5 star rating to a 1. you lost a great customer and promoter of your business. I understand problems but your manager doesnt have to be snotty when there is one. read more

Combo pizza cannot be beat. Taco pizza is equally as great. Eat it there pizza is better when it is fresh

This is by far the worst value for the price of any restaurant I have ever eaten at. The pizza crust tastes like cardboard, you could not make sauce more bland even if you simply opened a can, the salad bar is $4 for a plate the size of a teacup saucer. And the drinks are $2 for a 10 cent child's cup (the kind most places give away for free). The children's play area has that detestable bacteria/pee smell you all parents are acquainted with if you have frequented a large daycare or nursery. This is also compounded by the fact many parents turn their hooligan like kids to run roughshod over any mild-mannered child who is taught to have a minimal amount of self control. Go somewhere else and avoid this place, I will never go there again. read more

Best way to enjoy Papa's. 1. Drain one case Hamm's 2. Order one giant veggie 3. Order one giant pepperoni 4. Put on pants before delivery 5. Slather both pizzas with Siracha 6. Go into "hog-mode" read more

This review is based solely on delivery service - I have never been in any of the stores. I was very excited they had a gluten-free crust! So that was fine. I wouldn't say it was delicious, but what gluten-free crust is?! At least I could have pizza with friends when we all order in. I would have much preferred almost any pizza compared to this, but again - they do have the gluten-free option. The thing that was most astonishing was that for two pizzas it was $46 - I'm sure there were delivery charges in there, but I do not like to be surprised at the door! That was ah-mazing. I'm from Seattle and have never paid that much for pizza. So overall, it was alright - but for the price, we won't be going back. read more

Great pizza and a great salad bar, their lunch buffet is a great value and yummy! Its fantastic for kids with a gigantic play structure separate from the eating area! Very family oriented, keep in mind they have a lot of birthday parties and occasions so it can get load, hectic and busy! read more

Great local pizza, service can be rough at times as they tend to employ a lot of teenagers... They don't skimp on toppings or sides and I have never recieved an undercooked pizza which has happened numerous times at other pizza places... read more

I love coming here when they have their lunch buffet special! I have gone to this papas pizza and the one in Springfield and this one seems to be a lot more clean and for the lunch buffet it seems to have better pizza out. Regular pizza is pretty expensive, but for sure recommend the lunch buffet (especially on the days of the buffet special price ) read more

This place had better never close. I grew up eating this pizza and at age 40, it is still the best pizza I have ever found. Favorites- taco pizza (trust me), vegetarian, and Hawaiian. I LOVE YOU, PAPAS PIZZA! read more

I went to this place and the pizza kinda sucked. I went into the play Area trying to get away from all the children. Some child says "this is Beverly's room." Some crazy 7-11 year old says get out. He then sits on me. Then he jumps on my neck. I talk to his parents who suck at parenting. They said "he didn't mean to". I talk to the staff who make him apologize and let him back in. My collarbone still hurts. I might sue. They drove away in a church van. read more

After an unbroken streak of messing up at least one thing in my order this year, I've finally written these guys off. I hate to do this, because everyone with whom I've interacted has been very kind and pleasant, but there's just no excuse for so many mistakes, especially when I use the online form to order. Forgetting to put on the mushrooms now and then is no big deal, but the meat?! C'mon! The penultimate interaction involved delivering a pizza that was 100% not ours. They brought us a certificate for any free pizza along with our correct order, which was nice, but my daughter had to wait over two hours to eat, what with the errant pizza not being gluten free. The last straw came today when we used the certificate. They got the sauce wrong. Sorry Papa's; you are not the only GF 'za in town anymore. I'm trading up to Pegasus. read more

I love this Pizza...Always have! The crust is the best! Always Hot & Fresh. J Cornmeal makes it the perfect consistency, not too hard, not too soft, just right. Love the Pizza...Love the Crust! Got there to pick up my Pie and right when I was telling the dude my name and what kind I ordered, he pointed and said that one, just as it was coming out of the oven. Got home and it was Hot, Fresh, and everyone loved it. read more

My husband and I drive by this restaurant numerous times and we always say we want to try it. We went in for their lunch buffet. This was probably the worst pizza buffet I've ever had. The crust was tasteless, the sauce was like tomato paste, and that salad bar lettuce was super brown and wilted. We got there as soon as they opened for lunch so everything should have been fresh and delicious. Sadly, it was not. I gave it 2 stars because the price is good BUT keep in mind, you get what you pay for. read more

Good pizza place. I read about the complaints and I just can't help but think that the only pizza place in Eugene that is any good, without costing a lot, is Mezza Luna. I mean seriously this is as traditional a place to eat pizza as you'll find. read more

This is my favorite pizza place!!! I eat here all the time. Taco pizza is the best!!

Great thin-crust pizza, with generous toppings. But I still find it to be over-priced. A little noisy and chaotic at times. But I LOVE the fact that Papa's is a huge community supporter. And kids do love their play area. Delivery is always very reliable. I just wish they had thick crust options and lower pizza prices. (But their success obviously contradicts what I think!!) A Eugene institution! read more

Terrible pizza. Papa's Pizza is literally the lowest quality pizza I've ever tasted. You can a get pizza 10 times better for 5 dollars each over at Caesar's, OR, you can spend 27 dollars here to get a disgusting husk of bread drenched in grease and oil. Never. Again. read more

It took 30 minutes in an empty restaurant to get 2 small pizzas made , they called me up to the counter, where they had left my food unattended, and there were two metal pans too hot to touch and no way to carry them . One of my pizzas was pineapple and pepperoni , it was obvious that the pineapple had not gone in the oven with the rest of the pizza and it was very very dried out pieces . The crust was good but my tomato sauce was crunchy. The cider we ordered sounded like it was on tap and then we were handed bottles instead . read more

The pizza is pretty good, but $30 for a large is just way too much!, by their prices you would think you were at a fancy Chicago restaurant, once again it it UP TO $30 FOR A LARGE PIZZA!!, LET THAT SINK IN, we only go when they have a fund raiser and half of that goes to a charity or person we want to support otherwise we can go to Costco or Little Caesars or Papa Murphy's and get a pizza that is almost as good for half or less then they charge read more

I ordered online and was very satisfied with the process of the website. They had many categories for each individual thing and had many options for different ingredients. The check out process for ordering online and delivery was very easy, as well and even had the option to have it made and delivered at a future time, which was very helpful, especially if someone works certain times of the day. I ended up ordering incorrectly, (having a migraine will mess with you!), and received a courtesy phone call from a worker from the pizza parlor and explained how it worked and I thanked her. Wish I had gotten her name. When my order was correct to what I wanted, she fixed the order and we ended the call. I originally ordered for the order to be delivered where I work by 1:55 PM and it arrived exactly on time from a nice gentleman, who handed me everything with a smile on his face. We made small talk and he left for his next delivery, most likely. Overall, very satisfied with how pleasant the website is, how nice and professional the workers were. The food is amazing too! Quality ingredients, cold when supposed to be cold, hot when supposed to be hot. read more

I tried three times with two individuals just to try to give them my credit card number to order a pepperoni pizza over the phone. After two tries with the young lady and no success she passed me on to a young man who couldn't remember 3 digits at a time when I finally gave up, hung up and moved on to another vendor. It's not that difficult folks! read more
