PapaFeta is awesome. We had a large group. Everything was good including Chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, chicken Solvaki, gyros, loaded fries, hummus and baba ganouche. Lentil soup with curry flavors. We also enjoyed the small salads served with the plates. Greek salad and beet salad. Our waitress was sweet and efficient. The restaurant is pretty casual, we needed to ask for plates for the shared bites & extra napkins, short silverware but they took good care of us. Today, while shopping at the Temecula promenado mall, we decided to try this nice clean little Mediterranean restaurant! First, the restaurant has good enough space for dining in. Secondly, it was very clean. The restaurant is split into two sections: one where the food and bar area, while second is a nice small bakery cafe where both Arabian tea and Turkish coffee are served, along with a wide variety of baklava types, and cakes. We ordered chicken shawarma wrap with fries, and a lamb shank quzi. Both were mouth watering delicious .. the quzi lam shank meat was tender and falling off the bone.. the fries were amazing and so was the chicken shawarma.. we finished the lunch with two orders of Arabian teas, and two baklavas. I would like to first do a shot out to the wait staff. Everyone was very helpful and very nice. A family run restaurant where everyone looks like they actually like working there. The place was very clean and decorated very nice. So now about the food. Absolutely the best Mediterranean food I've had in a very long time. The quality of the food is what makes this place unique. They make everything from scratch. Which is very hard to find a restaurant that does that. And thats why the food taste great. We tried so much. First the wine section was great. We had the hummus and bread. The egg roll things, the cheese one wasn't my favorite but the other two were good. The potato one kinda remindedme of Indian food. We had a chicken wrap and a gyro wrap. Both were really good. The beet salad was to die for. And the cucumber salad was refreshing. Chicken was juicy. We finished it off with baklava was really good and not sticky like most. I've heard so many great things about PF,I had really high hopes. Uber eats gave me a promo so I decided to give them a try. I decided on the Papa Feta Everything plate & I guess that didn't include flavor. The meal comes with choice of rice or fries and another side (salad) but UE app doesn't let you pick which salad. I've walked past this place & it's huge. I will break down my opinion of the food. 1. Gyro meat was very flavorful great. 2. Garlic sauce yummy. 3. Tzatziki - too thick & not a good balance. I can't tell if it's too minty or cucumber but it's not better than Ladera Greek. 4. Shish kabob - had I known it was with lamb, I wouldn't have gotten it. It's very gamey & I don't like it. It went in the trash. 5. Side salad - pathetic. No onion, 1 cucumber 1 tomato, 1 olive, & the vinaigrette didn't seem homemade but topped with a bunch of herbs. But somehow salad still lacked flavor. 6. Grilled veggies - I'd like more than a tomato, onion & bell pepper. 7. Chicken souvlaki... grilled chicken nothing special. 8. Rice - flavorless. 9. Hummus - Well Trader Joes Mediterranean hummus has more flavor. $8 for hummus & it doesn't include pita, is a rip off I hate to give low scores but there's room for improvement on the flavor. I also wish for the Everything plate, the person got to pick. Which 3 meats they want. I should've just gotten a gyro instead of wanting to try everything. Usually greek rice is so good. Easy to order over the phone and was ready by the time we arrived to get our order. Business was busy but helpful over the counter. Probably better to eat fresh as my naan was a little chewy but it was good tasting. We ordered the platter which consisted of chicken, beef kabob and gyro meat. All three were delicious, the gyro meat is so tender! The pickled veggies on the side were interesting and I like any rice that can soak up meat flavors. My side salad was really small so if I were to go back I would probably get fries as the side and get an extra salad. read more

Being that I am Greek and was raised Greek pretty much my whole life. This is a slap in the face to Greek food. It's cool if you want to be a different Mediterranean culture and want to play dress up as a Greek restaurant . At least get it, right... I ordered a chicken "souvlaki" plate, I expected it to have rice pilaf as that is what Greek's serve with dishes. (Not basmati rice, wth?) Chicken koobideh kabab is NOT SOUVLAKI! (SMDH) Greek dishes are always served with a rice pilaf which is a traditional Greek side to a souvlaki dish. (Why are you serving BASMATI RICE??) If you're going to serve a GREEK salad, where's the feta??? Where is the Kalamata olives??? I got less than an ounce maybe one and a half slivers of feta cheese and feta is supposed to be crumbly.. not like a sheet of paper.... And since when do Greeks eat tandoori bread??? Never in my book! We eat PITA!! Don't even get me started on the dessert.... They used some kind of pistachio paste, to make baklava??? And they did the same thing with a walnut base... Baklava is supposed to taste like butter and honey!! And it's supposed to be 6 layers down then a sprinkle of walnuts or pistachios and another layer of phyllo dough covered in butter, and you repeat that process four or five times until you reach the top then you do just layers of phyllo dough and butter then soaked in a honey syrup!!! it's not rocket science... it's called laziness... And can someone explain to me why the Loukumi tasted like rubber?? To pay $24 a pound is absolutely absurd... I got two pieces of Loukumi, one rose, and one coconut, and it was stale... I think I paid like five dollars for 2 pieces.... 5 DOLLARS..... For half the price, I can enjoy Papa Cristo in LA!! And get real genuine, authentic Greek food! Or damn I might even take myself to Aliki's Greek Taverna next to lax... Or maybe even Sherman Oaks! Let's go to the great Greek and get some real Greek food! I mean, I'll throw one more out, George's Greek Café in Long Beach.. Go learn what Greek food is if you're going to say you're GREEK, MALAKA! read more

Went to the Papa Feta with 5 of my buddies to tackle the family-sized Tray 3... worth every penny! The big Papa is home to the best Mediterranean food in the Temecula area! In fact, you could say I am "fet-ahp" with the competition! Nowhere else will you get this food of this quality for a fair price. Big recommendation for Tray 3 if you have a hungry party- it "fed-a" all 6 of the "papas" sitting at our table! Do yourself a favor and make your way over to this joint immediately, and don't "papa" tire along the way! Also, they have an in-house bakery for pastries and confections too. The food is amazing!! I don't always like falafel because it's often dry and bland but the falafel at papa feta is very flavorful. The grape leaves are my absolute favorite though, I would get them every time I come here. For dessert they have a vegan cake slice and it was absolutely delicious I stuffed myself till I couldn't anymore. I wish they had a vegan baklava since it's one of the classic Arab desserts and I couldn't have any but I look forward to hopefully seeing it in the future. They have some other great vegan options I highly recommend though so thank you for considering us when making your menu! This food always leaves me feeling satisfied and I believe they used good quality ingredients since I never leave bloated. Great place for a date night, especially if you can beat the crowds as they have limited seating and I just discovered you can make reservations. Food was amazing as always, service was a little slow as in we were not checked on until the end of our meal and went the whole dinner without a water refill until we were done.
